You may pm me if you want me to include any new things such as: ideas, and/or characters. Any who enjoy chapter 2, and the rest of the chapters will be posted on this thread. Chapter 2: The night before the exam. Four years have passed since that day, and the boy is now lively again. He still doesn't remember much about his past at all. The boy is now living on a world known as the Land of Departure, it is currently night time in the world, as lots, and lots of stars are seen in the sky. The boy, Ventus, gets up from his sleep startled. He sighs a little. He looks at the sky, and sees a meteor going by. Ventus, smiles, and gets excited when he sees the meteor going by. "A meteor shower!" Shouted Ventus, excited. Ventus wastes no time jumping off of the bed, and running out his bedroom door into the hallway. Ventus is so excited, he didn't see another boy walk out of his room, and when he turns to face Ventus, and when he sees the boy they crash into each other! They sit up on the ground rubbing their heads, and looking at each other. They suddenly start laughing, at the sight of having crashed into each other. The boy is 13 years old, with short black hair, a bit tanned skin, dark blue eyes, wears a long sleeved black, and yellow shirt, and has a knight shoulder pad-like cauldron on his left shoulder, and wears black pants, and wears black boots. "Hey! Watch where you're going Tyler!" Said Ventus, in an energetic tone. Tyler rubs the back of his head, in embarrassment, as he looks on at Ventus with a smile on his face, as they get up slowly from the ground, and they walk in the hall of the castle in the world. "Sorry about that....I noticed a meteor....Wait.....Your going to see it too?" Replied Tyler, in a cheerful tone, as he continues walking in the hall. "Yeah!!!! I'am!!" Replied Ventus, in a happy and cheerful tone, as he, and Tyler kept walking in the hallway. They finally reach the exit of the castle, they look at each other with a smirk their face, and ran out the door. A young man wearing a black coat is seen watching the two boys exit the castle, and then the man leaves the castle, by opening a Corridor of Darkness and walking into it. They don't see any, and look at the pathway. "I can't see well from here!" Said Ventus, with a sigh. "I can't see either bro..." Replied Tyler, also sighing. Tyler, looks at Ventus with a smirk, and pushes him down a little, and runs towards the pathway, and into the training field. "Hey wait up!!!! Oh I see now....You are racing me to the top!!!!" Shouted Ventus, in a playful mood. Ventus, runs up the pathway, and into the training field. He takes a look around at the rings on chains that are attached to poles. "I've got time to spare." Said Ventus, in a playful mood. Ventus, summons his Keyblade, the Wayward Wind to his hand, and swings it at one of the rings, and then he ran at the pole that holds three rings, Ventus, just giggled as his assumes his battle stance. "What? You want a piece of me too?" Said Ventus, in a daring tone, as he took aim at one of the rings. Ventus, swings his Keyblade at the ring with great power in the strike. The rings then started moving in a fast pace, Ventus carefully aims his Keyblade at one of the rings, and performs a Strike Raid, by throwing his Keyblade at one of the =rings. "Hey, what am I doing? I'm going to miss the meteor shower! I need to get to the top before Tyler does!" Said Ventus, realizing that he is behind in the race. (End theme here.) Ventus's dissummons his Keyblade, and runs up a slope, only to see a young man wearing a black coat with it's hood up, the man looks at Ventus eye-to-eye with him. "You must be warned.....Something terrible will soon happen....And.....You may no longer be who you are....." Said the man, seeming to warn Ventus of upcoming danger. Ventus looks at the man with a confused look on his face. "What do you mean? Who are you?" Asked Ventus, asking for the man's name. Suddenly, without warning the man disappears, leaving Ventus more puzzled, than confused. "Who was that guy? And what did he mean by danger?" Thought Ventus, thinking about what had just transpired. Ventus decides to shrug it off, and runs into another pathway leading to the top, as he reaches the top he sees Tyler already there. Tyler, looks at Ventus with a smile on his face. "Looks like I got here before you Ven!!! Said Tyler, with a smirk on his face, and with a playful tone in his voice. "Oh thanks!!!!" Replied Ventus, in a playful tone. Both Tyler, and Ventus started laughing. Tyler, and Ventus approch the ledge of the cliff, and lie down on the ground with their arms beneath their heads, to rest on them. They look up into the sky, and into the stars. Ventus, starts to have a concerned look on his face, Tyler looks at Ventus upon seeing his concerned face. "What's wrong Ven?" Asked Tyler, worried for his friend. "Why does this seem....Familiar?" Asked Ventus, in a concerned tone with an uneasy feeling. "Maybe it's just a coincidence." Replied Tyler, thinking of a solution to the strange problem. "Maybe, your probably right...." Replied Ventus, thinking it's just a coincidence. They close their eyes, after a few minutes they open them, and look above, after sitting up. Ventus, and Tyler yawned, and fall onto their backs, but they see a blue haired girl, looking at them. Ventus, and Tyler, bolt up from their sleep. "Woah!!!" They both said at the same time in a surprised tone. They got onto their knees, and look at her. "Give as a break Aqua!" Said Ventus, in a energetic tone. "Ven, Tyler, you hopeless sleepyheads, you know you two can't sleep out here without a blanket." Replied Aqua, in a playful tone, with some sarcasm in her words. "But....Did I dream that place up.....I feel like I've been there......Looking at the stars...." Said Ventus, talking about the sky. Aqua, took her hand, and ruffled the hair on top of Ventus' hair. "But, you're here, living with us." Replied Aqua, reminding Ventus, that he lives in this world now. "Yeah, your right..." Replied Ventus, with a smile on his face. Ventus, Tyler, and Aqua walk closer to the ledge, and sit down on it."Hey Aqua?" Said Ventus, asking Aqua a question. "Hm?" Said Aqua, wondering what Ventus is asking her. "Y'ever wonder what stars are? Where Light comes from?"Asked Ventus, in an curious tone. "Hmm...Well, they say..." Said Aqua, beginning to say something, as she was cut off by a young man with brown spiky hair. "That every star up there is another world" Said the young man, in a kind tone. Ventus, Tyler, and Aqua turn around to face a man after gasping. "Terra." Said Aqua, surprised to see Terra, out in the middle of the night. "Yep, hard to believe there are so many worlds out there besides our own. The Light is their hearts, and it's shining down on us like a million lanterns." Said Terra, explaining the stars in the sky. Ventus, looks at Terra with a confused look on his face after Terra finished explaining what stars are. "What? I don't get it." Said Ventus, in a confused tone. "In other words, they're just like you, Ven." Said Terra, in a playful tone. "What does THAT mean? Replied Ventus, as he got up, and walked towards Terra. "You'll find out someday, I'm sure." Said Terra, in a truthful tone. "I wanna know now." Replied Ventus, getting impatient. "You're too young to know now." Said Terra, calling Ventus too young to know the meaning of what he said. "Quit treating me like a kid." Replied Ventus, in irritation of being treated like a kid. Aqua, started laughing a little. "Hey, what are you laughing at?" Asked Terra, in a little harsh tone in his voice. "I can't help it. You two would make the wierdest brothers." Said Aqua, as she started laughing after that. Ventus, folds his arms behind his back, and Terra folds his arms to his chest, looking confused. Then they too start laughing. A few hours pass, as Ventus, Tyler, Terra, and Aqua look at the stars in the night sky, as Aqua suddenly gets up. (Play theme here.) "Oh yeah. Terra, you and I have are Mark of Mastery exams tomorrow." Said Aqua, in a stern tone in her voice as she walks behind Terra, Tyler, and Ventus. Aqua, takes out four star-shaped charms out of her pocket, and held them out to show them. "I made us good luck charms." Said Aqua, in a cheerful tone, as she smiles. The four charms were colored Blue, Light brown, Green, and Yellow, Aqua threw the Light brown-colored charm to Terra, the Green charm to Ventus, and the Yellow charm to Tyler. "Wow, amazing.." Said Tyler, in a happy tone in his words. "I get one too?" Asked Ventus, in a cheerful tone in his words. "Of course. One for each of us. Said Aqua, as she, Tyler, Terra, and Ventus show off their charms, and looking at them. "Somewhere out there, there's this tree with star-shaped fruit, and the fruit represents an unbreakable connection. So as long as you and your friends carry good luck charms shaped like it, nothing can ever drive you apart. "You'll always find your way back to each other. Technically, I think you're supposed to make them with seashells., but I did the best with what I had." Said Aqua, explaining about the good luck charms she gave them. "Oy, sometimes you are such a girl." Said Terra, in sarcasm. "Hey, what do you mean, "sometimes"?" Asked Aqua, annoyed a little at what Terra said to her. "So this isn't a real good luck charm?" Asked Ventus, a little dissappointed. "Well, that's yet to be seen. But I did work a little magic on it." Said Aqua, stating that they have yet to see what the charms can do. "Really? What?" Asked Ventus, in an curious tone. "An unbreakable connection." Said Aqua, as she held her good luck charm up into the air. (End theme here.) "That makes sense..." Said Tyler, understanding what Aqua said. Terra, got up and started to walk into the open field. "Well, tomorrow's the exam. Anyone wanna Spar?" Asked Terra, asking if someone wants to spar with him. "I can take ya!" Said Ventus, as he summoned his Keyblade into his his hand, and they both run into each other, and they clash weapons. Hours pass, and Ventus, and Terra are getting tired after clashing, Aqua came walking into the battle, with Keyblade in hand. "Well, that works if you're fighting one on one. But you need to learn how to handle a crowd, too." Said Aqua, as she assumed her battle stance. She, and Ventus jump at each other preparing to clash their weapons in midair. A few hours pass, and Terra, Aqua, and Ventus are worn out as they face each other, as Tyler is watching. Ventus, dissummons his Keyblade, signaling his time in sparring is over tonight. "Trust me, you guys are ready." Said Ventus, as Tyler gets up, and goes over to his side. "You're going to clean up at the exam tomorrow." Said Ventus, in a cheerful tone in his words. "I hope it's that easy." Said Terra, as he began walking. "It's like the master said. Power is born within the heart." Said Aqua, starting to explain about what the Master told them. "When the time is right, you just need to look inside yourself, and you'll find it there." Said Aqua, as she finished explaining. Ventus nods with a smile. Ventus, looks up into the sky a little, with a confused look on his face. "Hey, we're going to head back." Said Terra, telling Ventus that he and Aqua are heading back to the castle. Tyler, looks at Ventus, with a smile. "I'm also heading back too? Are you coming?" Asked Tyler, asking Ventus if he will head back to the castle too. Ventus, looks at Tyler with a smile on his face. "Yeah, me too!" Replied Ventus in a happy tone. Ventus, and Tyler run a little to catch up with Terra and Aqua. They start to walk back down the mountain, but Aqua looks into the sky as she saw a meteor passing by, distracted by it. "Together...Always..." Said Aqua, to herself as she held her good luck charm. Aqua quickly runs to catch up with Tyler, Ventus, and Terra to walk down the mountain, back to the castle. (Play theme here.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QD5-pDZenQ0 A mouse is seen surfing on the water, with a book as the mouse yells in a little fright, as the waves come at him. Suddenly, a big wave goes at the mouse, and the mouse falls into a whirlpool, as the frightened mouse screams for his life. (End theme here.) Without any word, the mouse came floating out of the water, the water disappeared, showing that it was just an illusion, the mouse was really in a room, with a wizard sitting on a chair with a desk. the mouse lands on the ground with a thud, and he got up soon after that. The mouse walks towards the wizard, as he rubs the back of his head, embarrassed. The wizard looks at the mouse, with a stern, and serious look on his face, showing that he was not happy at what he saw. The wizard lowers his head, and sighs at the sight he saw. "Mickey...I cannot shake the feeling something terrible is about to transpire." Said the wizard, in an serious tone in his words. Mickey, moves his head a little, as he looks confused, as the wizard looks towards a window, that shows the night sky. In the sky there are four stars glowing in the sky, a yellow star, a brown star, a blue star, and a green star. (Play theme here.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Df_oGA0S2ZQ Meanwhile, at a mysterious wasteland, the same old man, from four years ago was looking out at the night sky from a cliff. A Corridor of Darkness opens up, and the same young man, who was in the castle of Land of Depature, who watched Ventus and Tyler leave the castle to look out at the stars, walks out of it, and stands behind the old man. "The one who you need for your goals, and his friend went to go watch a meteor shower, master, and another man like me appeared to the one, also wearing a black coat like I'am.....It seems that he is aware of our motives....What shall we do, Master Xehanort?" Asked the young man, calling the old man, "Master Xehanort". Xehanort, looks at the young man with an evil smirk on his face, as he turns to face him. "No worries, Darkdron, it won't matter one bit as he sees what's in store....How are the Darklings doing? We'll need them for our back-up plan, in case we lose the parts we need for our initial plan..." Replied Xehanort, in a dark tone revealing a type of monsters of sort, named the Darklings. Darkdron, lowers his hood, revealing his face, he has tanned skin, long, and spiky silver hair, that flows down to the midsection of his back, and has pointy ears, and has the same gold eyes as Xehanort's. "They are fine....We are pushing are enemy back, more into defeat....Yet the enemy refuses to give up....Those bird brains....They may be smart, but in the end, they shall be defeated, and destroyed...." replied Darkdron, telling Xehanort about what the Darklings are doing right now. "I see....Well, have the Darklings made any progress yet?" Asked Xehanort, as he extends his hand out while raising it in the air, as he asks if the Darklings are making progress. "Well, master, they are close to getting into the Temple of Zelia, on the World of Shining, and are now devising a way to disable the temple's security systems, and steal the temple's Planetary Energy, which will serve in our back-up plan to forge the thing we need, and place it in the dark counterpart of the temple in my World of Nexus, the World of Shining's Dark counterpart....After that, the Darklings shall invade the Temple of Balgia, the Temple of Sheena, and the Temple of Althar, to do the same like they are to the the temple, by stealing their Planetary Energy that they're going to do soon...." Said Darkdron, folding his arms on his chest, as he tells Xehanort about the Darkling's plans to steal the Planetary Energy to use it for something, to forge some king of thing. "Excellent.....That's what I want to hear....After all, you ARE the king, and ruler of all Darklings, since it was you who was the first Darkling to be born, and the most powerful than the rest..." Said Xehanort, stating that Darkdron, is the king, and ruler of the Darklings. "Of course master, I will never let you down, we shall succeed in our plan, and get what we desire..." Said Darkdron, in a dark tone, as he promises not to let Xehanort down. Xehanort, gives out another evil smirk on his face, and folds his arms behind his back. "Very good....The next part of our plan starts tomorrow, to sabotage Aqua, and Terra's Mark of Mastery exams.....The boy in the mask, will be there hidden in the shadows...." Said Xehanort, mentioning the existance of a boy wearing a mask. "Very well, master...." Said Darkdron, as he bowed to Xehanort, as they both give off more evil smirks on their faces. (End theme here.) Terra, Tyler, Ventus, and Aqua have spent their last night, under the stars peacefully, and are hyped for the exam. Xehanort, and Darkdron, are talking about something at a wasteland, what are the Darklings? What is the Darkling' enemy? Who was the young man, wearing the black coat that Ventus saw before watching the stars? Perhaps we may never know. The next chapter shall explain some questions. Chapter 3: The Exam. The only thing I found slightly annoying is that sometimes what a character does is repeated in the text after they say what they are doing. Other than that though it was excellent. I will try to make sure that the name of a person does not get repeated as much, I only do that sometimes to know who is who, Chapter 3 shall come in 2 weeks or so. Ventus, suddenly looks at Xehanort, who is staring at him for some reason, as Tyler looks at the direction that his blonde-haired friend is looking at, and looks confused upon the elderly Keyblade Master, looking at his friend. Ventus, and Tyler look down in a bit in disappointment, but quickly look up, and they stand up with their arms to their sides, as their master, Eraqus gets up from his throne, and looks at Terra, and Aqua, with a serious look on his face. "Today you will be examined for the Mark of Mastery." Said Eraqus, starting to explain the Mark of Mastery to the azure haired-girl, and brunette- haired man. "Not one but two of the Keyblade's chosen stand here as candidates, but this neither a competition nor a battle for supremacy, not a test a wills, but a test of heart." Said Eraqus, telling more about the Mark of Mastery. "Both of you may prevail, or neither." Said Eraqus, telling his two pupils that the outcome of the exam doesn't matter. "But I am sure that our guest, Master Xehanort, did not travel all this way to see our youngest prospects in years fall short of the Mark. I trust you are ready." Said Eraqus, thinking that his two pupils are ready for the exam. "Yes." Said the two pupils at once. "Then let the examination begin." Said Eraqus, as he summons his Keyblade to his hand. (End theme here.) Eraqus puts a hand behind his weapon, as it glows a faint white Light, and balls of Light appear before Terra, and Aqua, and the two pupils prepare their Keyblades to strike down the balls of Light. (Play theme here.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7VTkfhWYl0 Xehanort, moves one of his hands a little as it glows with a faint Darkness, and suddenly the balls of Light get corrupted by Darkness, and begin to suddenly move, the two pupils are shocked to see the balls like this, Eraqus has the same reaction to this happening. Xehanort smirks as the two pupils go to strike down the moving balls. Two of the balls go at Tyler, and Ventus. "Ven! Tyler!" Terra, and Aqua shouted at the two boys to get out of the way. The two boys summon their Keyblades to their hands, Tyler slashes his ball, with his Keyblade, Bond of Flames, by using Blitz, and the blonde-haired boy jumps at the other ball, and slashes it. "Don't worry about us, We've got this covered. You two focus on the exam!" Said Ventus, with courage in his voice. "We'll be fine you two, keep going!" Said Tyler, telling the two pupils not to worry. " But Ven, you and Tyler are in danger here! Go wait in your rooms!" Shouted Aqua, telling her two young friends to go to their rooms, while they take care of the balls. "No way we're moving!!!" Said Tyler, planning to stay where he is. "We've been waiting for this, seeing you two become masters. We're not going to miss it now!" Said Ventus, with more courage in his voice, but a bit serious in his tone of voice. "They can take care of themselves. They've been out there training as hard as us." Said Terra, as he put his hand on his chest. "Yeah!" Said Ventus, with his tone full of eager in it. "Stay sharp, you two." Said Aqua, telling the two boys to stay on their feet. Tyler, jumps into the air, and throws his Keyblade around, casting Aero on one of the balls of Light, and it gets thrown by the wind and disappears, as Terra strikes down his ball of Light, by slashing it three times, and casting a Fire spell at it, and it disappears when it gets burned. Aqua, casts Fire, and Blizzard spells at several other balls of Light that come in her way, and quickly dispatches them, with a Thunder spell. (End theme here.) An hour later, the balls of Light are now gone, and Tyler and Ventus are standing at the sidelines again, as Eraqus walks towards his two pupils, with a serious look on his face, but this time it is shown to have a bit of happiness in it. "That was unexpected, but one must keep a still heart even in the most trying circumstances. It was an excellent test, one I chose to let unfold. Which brings us to your next trial. Terra, and Aqua stand before each other in the hall, inside the castle, with Keyblade in hand. "Now, Terra and Aqua, the two of you will face each other in combat. Remember, there are no winners, only truths, for when equal powers clash, their nature is revealed." Said Eraqus, as Terra and Aqua, prepare their Keyblades to face each other. "Begin!" Said Eraqus, telling his two pupils to begin their final test. (Play theme here.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpGaak6LzLk The two pupils run at each other, and clash with each other, using their Keyblades, Aqua and Terra trade blows with each other with their Keyblades. They both keep trading blows, until Aqua backs up a little, and lunges at Terra, who barely dodges. The azure-haired girl runs at him, as he began to get a little angry, and holds out a hand to his side, which was covered in some Darkness. Terra notices this, and clenches the hand into a fist, causing the Darkness on it to disappear. The test continues, as Xehanort watches with an evil smirk on his face. In the shadows near the staircase, Darkdron is seen with his hood up, watching the test unfold, while giving off a evil smirk on his face. (End theme here.) Eraqus and Xehanort, stand before Terra and Aqua, ready to announce the results of the exam. "We have deliberated and reached a decision." Said Eraqus, getting started with the announcement. "Terra, Aqua, you both performed commendably. However, only Aqua has shown the Mark of Mastery." Said Eraqus, as Terra and Aqua are surprised, even though the brunette haired-mam was shocked as he hears that he failed. "Terra, you failed to keep the Darkness within sufficiently in check. But, there is always next time. That is all." Said Eraqus, assuring Terra that there will be a next time. "Aqua, as our newest Keyblade Master, you are entitled to certain knowledge. Please wait here for further instruction." Said Eraqus, as Xehanort walks away with his arms folded to his back as the master is telling his blue haired-pupil to stay put. Eraqus walks towards a door to the left, and enters the room. "Hey..." Said Aqua, as she tries to comfort Terra, as Tyler and Ventus run up to him. "Terra, we're sorry." Said Ventus, also trying to comfort Terra. "Yeah, I know you didn't mean for that to happen." Said Tyler, as he was also trying to comfort him. "The Darkness... Where did it come from?" Asked Terra, as he looks down to the ground, a bit sad. Xehanort is seen walking down the flight of stairs, and sees Darkdron standing next to a boy, holding a mask. "What do you make of Ventus?" Asked Xehanort, asking the boy holding the mask about Ventus for some reason. "He ain't gonna cut it. Somebody's gotta break that loser in. That Tyler guy, ugh, he's so useless, and meddlesome, it just makes me want to kill him." Said the boy, rambling about Ventus and Tyler. "Not here you won't, Master Xehanort has to keep up appearances, your time will come later..." Said Darkdron, telling the boy to be patient. "I know that Darkdron, you don't need to tell me twice." Said the boy, as he put on his mask-like helmet. "He just needs a little incentive to leave home." Said the boy, saying that they need to make Ventus leave somehow. The boy, Darkdron, and Xehanort, walk down the last of the stairs, and Darkdron opens a Corridor of Darkness, and the boy, and Darkdron head into it, and it closes as they enter it. "Sorry, but I need some time alone..." Said Terra, as he walks away from Tyler Aqua and Ventus. Major things have happened, Aqua has finally become a Keyblade Master, but Terra failed due to the Darkness within him. Xehanort may be in fact connected to the failure some how. The strange thing is, what was the boy in the mask talking about Tyler and Ventus? And why were he and Xehanort talking about Ventus? Perhaps that may be answered later. Prepare for the next chapter. Tyler is in Ventus' room, reading a book and both of the boys sigh. Outside Terra is sitting on the stairs outside the castle, thinking about his Darkness. "So what does that matter? I know I'm strong enough to hold it back." Said Terra, as he closed his eyes. "Yes... You are indeed strong." Said Xehanort, as he walks out the door, and looks at Terra. Said Xehanort, for some reason telling Terra something about Darkness. "Master Xehanort..." Said Terra, in a bit of confusion in his tone. "And yet, how frustrating that Eraqus refutes it's power. Why, you could train with him forever and still, you'd never be a Master in his eyes." Said Xehanort, as he walks down the stairs with his arms folded to his back. "But why? Help me understand, Master Xehanort. What is it that I failed to learn?" Asked Terra, wanting to know if he had missed something during his training. "You are fine as you are. Darkness cannot be destroyed. It can only be channeled." Said Xehanort, as he raises a hand at Terra. "Yes. Thank you, Master." Said Terra, as he got his arms to his side. Bells started ringing, Terra quickly ran inside as Xehanort glanced at Terra, as he opened a Corridor of Darkness, and walks into it, it closes once he is inside of it. (End theme here.) Tyler and Ventus hear the bell, and they get up and go towards the exit of the room, only stop stop when they hear a voice. Asked Ventus, wanting to know who the boy is. "This guy is strange, be careful around him." Said Tyler, warning his blonde-haired friend abou the boy wearing the mask. "Or you'll never see Terra again." Said the boy, rambling about Terra in front of Tyler and Ventus. "What? Get real. We can see Terra anytime we want." Said Ventus, protesting against the boy wearing the mask, about what he said. "Like right now? He's leaving you two behind, and by the time you two catch up, he'll be a different person." Said the boy wearing the mask, for some reason antagonizing Ventus and Tyler about their brunette-haired friend. "Look, whoever you are, You don't know the first thing about Terra. He and us will always be a team. You trying to pick a fight with us or what?" Said Ventus, being protective of Terra, as he held up his wooden Keyblade. The boy wearing the mask just walks away, being somewhat annoyed by what the boy just said. "Oh grow up. Is that what you call friendship? You'll never know the truth unless you go out and look for it yourselves. Come on, what could you two possibly know when you're stuck here, looking at nothing but what's in your tiny world?" Said the boy wearing the mask, mocking Ventus and Tyler about the meaning of the word "Friendship", as he opens a Corridor of Darkness and walks into it, and it closes behind him after entering it. (End theme here.) Ventus looks down in a little confusion, as he remembers the moments of training with Terra years before. "Terra!" Shouted Ventus, as he and Tyler run out of the room. Shouted Ventus, as he stumbled a bit, as he ran towards him. "I-" Said Ventus, but gets cut off when Terra ruffles Ventus' hair. "It's okay." Said Terra, assuring Ventus that he's fine. Terra walks away a little, and put's his hand towards something on his cauldron on his shoulder. Terra is suddenly clad in bronze and red armor, as he summons his Keyblade, and throws it into the air, and it transforms into a device named the "Keyblade Glider". Terra jumps onto it, and flies off on it as he opens up a Portal in the sky, and enters it. Ventus and Tyler are disappointed, and then they put their hands near their cauldrons, and are clad in armor. They summon their Keyblades, and throw them into the air, and they also turn into Keyblade Gliders, as Aqua ran at them, as the two boys got onto them, and flew off into the portal. "Wait Ven! Tyler!" Shouted Aqua, telling the two boys to come back. "No, they can't!" Shouted Eraqus, in shock. "You have to bring them back!" Shouted Eraqus, telling Aqua to bring them back. "I know Master, I will." Said Aqua, as she put's her hand at her cauldron which is on her arm, and is clad in armor as well, and she throws her Keyblade into the air, and transforms it into a Keyblade Glider as well, and then she gets on to it, and flies it into the air, and into the Portal as it closes. "Everything is now in place, Master Xehanort....The one had left in search for Terra, but that useless one went with him, when I find that Tyler, I will teach him a "Lesson" that he will never forget." Said Darkdron, about the things that happened so far. "Indeed, but we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves, for we still need to put other parts of our plan into action..." Said Xehanort, as he raises his hands, and extends them. "I say that we'll need a back-up one if Ventus fails to be strong enough to fulfill his purpose...." Said the boy in the mask. "Indeed, Vanitas...I'm thinking of having Aqua as the back-up one if we cannot get Ventus to be strong enough for the task at hand.." Said Xehanort, already had made a back-up plan in mind. (End theme here.) The journey has begun!! Terra was confronted by Xehanort about his Darkness, and told him to be the same as he is. Ventus and Tyler are confused by what Vanitas means about Terra. Chapter 5: The New World. In the Lanes Between, Tyler and Ventus are flying in them with their Keyblade Gliders, in search of Terra. They keep looking, until they see a world with a cottage on it, and grass everywhere on it. They head over to that world, and land their Keyblade Gliders, and dissummon them, and the armor that they are clad in vanishes in a flash of Light. The two boys walk on a mountain patch, and something caught their eye. (Play theme here.) They see a group of small people walking down below, the two boys go to the other side, to look at the the small people go inside the entrance to a cave. The two boys jump down, and suddenly some Unversed, Floods appeared out of no where. "What are these things?!?" Said Ventus, as he summons his Keyblade to dispatch the Unversed. "I don't know!" Said Tyler, as he summons his Keyblades to take out the Unversed with. They run at the Floods, and slash them in quick strikes, and then they cast Fire and Aero spells together to cause a fire tornado to appear and suck all of the Floods up, and throw them away while burning them. The two boys dissummon their Keyblades and enter the cave. They look around the cave as they see the small people mining jewels from the cave walls. Suddenly the small person wearing red, and wearing glasses turns around to see Ventus and Tyler. "Huh? Who are you?" Asked the small person, in a somewhat scared tone. "I'm Ventus, call me Ven." said Ventus, introducing himself. "I'm Tyler, nice to meet ya." Said Tyler, as he also introduces himself. "Diamond thieves! Take cover, ya fools!" Shouted another small person wearing red and with a long beard. (End theme here.) "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to frighten you." Said Ventus, trying to assure them that he and Tyler are not thieves. "You mean, you're not here for our diamonds?" Asked another bearded person wearing brown. "That's not nice, treating us like some kind of bad guys. We're just trying to find a friend. His name is Terra. He's dressed kind like us, about yay tall." Said Ventus, trying to be polite, and describing Terra. "Sounds like a tall tale to me! Go on, git!" Said one of the small people, trying to make Ventus and Tyler leave the cave. "We don't know any Terra." Said another small person. "Please, could you come over here? We just want to talk." Said Ventus, starting to get a little desperate. "Don't fall for it! Stay where ya are!" Said the small person wearing red and with a long beard. "All right. Then we'll do this the hard way!" Said Ventus, as the small people ran to hide in many spots before Ventus and Tyler can run after them. (Play theme here.) At the wasteland, Darkdron and Vanitas are still standing before Xehanort, continuing on with their meeting as they watch the events from a whirlpool made from Darkness. "It seems that Ventus and Tyler have just arrived to their first world, and are being accused of thieves, how amusing is this." Said Darkdron, as he raises a hand and clenches it into as fist as he gives off an evil smirk on his face. "Yes... Darkdron, I find it funny that those two don't know about the Unversed, yet I find it annoying..." Said Xehanort, as he roses a hand, and extends it at the image of the events happening. "Hmph, I say we kill Tyler now, and force Ventus to be strong enough." Said Vanitas, trying to get his chance to do evil. "Not yet you won't, but I shall send Darkdron to confront those two boys, and bring me results." Said Xehanort, looking at Vanitas. "Very well, Master Xehanort..." Said Darkdron, as he bows down to him. Darkdron walks away, and opens a Corridor of Darkness and enters it and it closes behind him after he enters it. (End theme here.) Ventus and Tyler have arrived to Dwarf Woodland, and are accused of being thieves, and the small people are hiding from them! Where is Terra? And where will Darkdron appear? At Dwarf Woodland, Ventus and Tyler found all of the small people and gathered them arounfd in a group. "Come on. I'm telling you we're no thieves." Said Ventus, trying to assure the small people that he and his black-haired friend aren't thieves. "Ha! that's what they all say. Well, we're onto you!" Said the small person wearing red clothing and with the beard, yelling at both Ventus and Tyler. "You just don't get it do you? You just see random people, who walk in here, and you just accuse them of being thieves? How does THAT work?" Said Tyler, getting a little annoyed, and feeling justice. "Fine, I get it. You want us to leave, we'll leave." Said Ventus, as he turns around and starts to walk out to the exit of the cave, only to stop only to a distance of the exit. "Oh, but can you tell us where we can find some other people around here?" Asked Ventus, curious to know if there are any other people in the world. "There's a castle beyond the chorus, I mean the forest." Said the other person wearing red and glasses, telling them about the castle. "Got it. Well, thanks." Said Ventus, as he and Tyler walk out of the cave. Darkdron is seen with his hood up, and watching the two boys from a high mountain with an evil smirk on his face. The two boys go into the forest, looking to find their way to the castle. More Floods appear from the trees, and Ventus and Tyler quickly summon their Keyblades and start attacking them with their Keyblades. They finally finish off the Floods with a double Aero spell. the two boys dissummon their Keyblades, and find themselves at a cottage. "This must be where those little men live." Said Ventus, as he leans over to look inside the window. A scream is heard, and Ventus and Tyler go in direction of the screaming. The two boys run deeper into the forest, and see a young woman on the ground. "What's wrong?" Asked Ventus, worried about the young woman. "These horrible trees, they tried to grab me." Said the young woman, wimpering in fear. Ventus let's down his hand, causing her to look up at him. "Ah, it's okay. You were probably just seeing things. It happens to all of us when we're afraid." Said Ventus, as the young woman took his hand and got up to her feet. "Oh, thank you. I feel quite better now.I'm sure I'll get along, somehow. "But...I do need a place to sleep at night. would you know where I might?" Asked the young woman, curious to know if she can sleep anywhere. "Well, we saw a house just ahead. Come on, we'll take you there." Said Ventus, eagerly telling where she can go. "Oh, I'm Ventus. Ven for short." Said Ventus, introducing himself. "You may just call me Tyler, that is all." Said Tyler, also introducing himself. "Thank you, Ven. MY name's Snow White." Said Snow White, introducing herself. Then the three start walking as the trees suddenly started moving. "AHHH!!!" Screamed Snow White, upon seeing the trees going at her. More Floods show up in front of them. "Quickly! We'll handle them! Go to safety!" Shouted Ventus, as Snow White quickly runs into the clearing where the cottage is, as he and Tyler summon their Keyblades. (Play theme here.) Tyler slashes several trees with his Keyblade in lightning speed, while casting multiple Fire spells at some Floods. Ventus activates his Fever Pitch technique and slashes several trees and Floods heading his way, and then he casts Aero and slashes all of the trees and Floods that are sucked into the wind created by the spell. The two boys back up to their backs, and they look at each other and nod. they jump into the air, and put their Keyblades together. "Light!" Shouted the two boys, as the Keyblades start to make a huge Light that causes the trees and the Floods to shrivel up and fade away. (End theme here.) They land on the ground and look at each other. "We did it Tyler! We mastered our combo attack!" Said Ventus, very happy about mastering a move. "Yeah, looks like we did big brother!" Said Tyler, also very happy about it. They start to run in the direction towards the cottage until... (Play theme here.) Darkdron appears behind the two boys from a Corridor of Darkness. "Halt you two!" Said Darkdron, telling the two boys to stop in their tracks. Ventus and Tyler quickly turn around to see Darkdron looking at them. "Who are you?!?!" Said Tyler, demanding to know who Darkdron is. "My name is Darkdron, I am here to simply teach you a "Lesson" that you'll never forget." Said Darkdron, as he lowers down his hood, and summons a pair of purple Ethereal Blades that look like a pair of demonic knight swords and wields them backwards, and got into his battle stance. "What do you mean?!?" Said Ventus, as he and Tyler got into their battle stances, and staring down at him. Darkdron mearly ignores them, and jumps into the air, and dashes at the two boys in a blink of an eye, and spears of Darkness appear around the two boys, they quickly put their Keyblades in front of them to defend themselves. The spears shoot forward a the two boys, they block five incoming spears, but get hit by three of them. Causing them to get thrown to a tree. Darkdron approches them, with an evil smirk on his face. "Hmph, pathetic....Is that all you got fools?" Said Darkdron, mocking the two boys. The two boys shoot a glare at Darkdron, and slowly get up from the ground. "This isn't over until we say it's over!!!" Shouted Ventus, vowing to keep fighting. "Yeah!!! You think you can just defeat us just like THAT?" Said Tyler, also vowing to keep fighting. "Hmph, such arrogance....No matter...." Said Darkdron, as he turns invisible. "Huh? Where did he go?" Asked Tyler, confused. "Don't keep your guard down, he could be anywhere.." Said Ventus, as the two boys look around for any signs of their opponent. "Fools." Said a voice, as Darkdron appears behind Tyler. Tyler quickly reacts by turning around and jumping around to face Darkdron, who tried to slash him from behind. "Hmmm, it seems that you were able to predict my movement somehow...No matter this will all be over very soon..." Said Darkdron, as he glows black, and pillars of Darkness appears on the ground, and surround the three as a force field is formed. "You shall not escape until you defeat....Me!!!" Said Darkdron, in an evil tone, as he gives off an evil smirk on his face, as the two boys run at him. (End theme here.) Darkdron has finally confronted Ventus and Tyler!!! It seems that he is very powerful as he demonstrated! Will Ventus and Tyler get out of this alive? Or will they perish here? Find out in the next chapter. Chapter 7: The Dark Entity: The Dark Tree. KHLegendIII 709 Posted October 4, 2013 (edited) Hello everyone, sorry for the LONG delay, I was out of ideas for chapter 7 for a while, but here it is, the next chapter. Enjoy. Chapter 7: The Dark Entity: The Dark Tree (Play theme here.) A long while has passed, since the fight has begun, and Ventus and Tyler are getting tired out as Darkdron attacks them with beams of Darkness. "Pathetic, is that all you got, man, this is just a waste of time..." Said Darkdron, getting bored. "Oh really, we're just getting.....Started!" Shouted Tyler, as he and Ventus get up from the ground, and start running at Darkdron. "Hmph, such confidence, I'll give you credit for that. But, you shall get put in your place!" Said Darkdron, as his Ethereal Blades began glowing a purple color. "What's he doing?" Asked Tyler, getting confused. "Keep your eyes open!" Shouted Ventus, trying to tell Tyler to stay on guard. Darkdron's weapons suddenly grow longer, glowing with Darkness, causing the two boys to stare in horror at him. "Hahaha!!! This one will put you in your place!!!" Shouted Darkdron, as he prepares to attack with his Ethereal Blades in their current state. He swings his two blades at Ventus and Tyler, while firing spears of Darkness from each slash. Ventus and Tyler barely dodge all of them, causing them to get wore down. His forcefield disappears. (End Theme Here.) Shockingly, Darkdron puts away his Ethereal Blades and opens a Corridor of Darkness. "Hmph, this was a waste of time.... I thought you two were going to be a challenge, I guess things weren't meant to be.." Said Darkdron, preparing to leave. Darkdron walks into the Corridor he made and disappeared. Ventus and tyler put away their Keyblades and sigh in disappointment, surprised by Darkdron's strength. "Man, we need to train if we were to beat THAT guy..." Said Tyler, feeling let down. "Yeah, but don't worry, we'll beat him for sure next time.." Said Ventus, trying to encourage his friend. Ventus and Tyler get up and use Cure to heal themselves of their wounds and walk back to the cottage where Snow White was told to go to. Snow White is seen outside the cottage, waiting for them. They all go inside the cottage and look around. "I'm sure it's safe in here, ma'aam.." Said Tyler, telling Snow White that she may be safe in the cottage. "But sit tight while I look around." Said Ventus, as he and Tyler run off. The seven dwarfs from before enter the cottage and one of them is seen going upstairs to see Snow White. Minutes later, Ventus and Tyler enter the cottage again, and see Snow White talking to the seven dwarfs. "The coast is clear! Not a monster in sight... Huh!" Shouted Ventus, seeing the seven dwarfs talking to Snow White. "Those guys again..." Said Tyler, looking at the seven dwarfs as well. The seven dwarfs turn around and stare at Ventus and Tyler. "Couldn't stay away, coudja? An' who invited you two in, ya rotten thieves?" Said the grumpy red dwarf, talking to Ventus and Tyler. "Oh no, they're no thieves. They both rescued me." Said Snow White, trying to defend Ventus and Tyler. "You fussn't be mooled, uh, mustn't be fooled by them, princess." Said the beared hazel-colored hat wearing dwarf. (Play theme song here.- ) Darkdron is seen traversing endless Darkness while making his way to somewhere. He is thinking of his battle with Ventus and Tyler. He is wondering if Tyler is worth any of his time to be worried about. "Hmph, was I mistaken about that boy Tyler? Or, is it possibly that "Fate" is alluding me as to who may be my "Fated Opponent"? Either way, I must find out if he is someone that must be destroyed... But that boy Ventus, was just... Pathetic. Looks like he needs more work, if he is our "Chosen".." Said Darkdron, talking about Ventus and Tyler. (End Theme Song here.) Back at the cottage, Ventus and Tyler seem to be shocked at something, and talking about something. "That doesn't sound like Terra at all!"Shouted Ventus, not believing the accusations that the seven dwarfs are throwing at him and Tyler. The talk continues on for a while, and after the talk, Ventus and Tyler are seen outside. The ground shakes violently, as a stream of Darkness enters the woods. "Ven, look!" Shouted Tyler, noticing the stream of Darkness. "Right!" Shouted Ventus, talking to Tyler. Ventus and Tyler run into the woods and see a four-legged tree-like monster, bearing an Emblem, the Mad Treeant. Ventus and Tyler summon their Keyblades as they stare down the beast. "Back off!" Shouted Ventus, as he and Tyler prepare to fight the Mad Treeant. (Play Theme Song here.- ) The Mad Treeant roars as it sends berry-like bombs at Ventus and Tyler, causing small explosions in the woods. Ventus and Tyler use their Keyblades to slash some of the bombs right back at the Mad Treeant, causing the beast to charge at them. The two boys are hit by the beast, causing thm to be sent flying. The Mad Treeant then goes on to jump at Tyler, but Tyler quickly jumps out of the way, causing the Mad Treeant to cause a shockwave as it land son the ground. Tyler casts Fire at the Mad Treeant as he runs around the beast. Ventus jumps in at the Mad Treeant, slashing at the beast with his Keyblade. The Mad Treeant roars loudly as it throws Ventus back using a large branch on it's back. The Mad Treeant's legs glow a light green color, and spiked rocks thrust out of the ground at Ventus and Tyler, who dodge the attack at the last second just barely. "Man, this thing is TOUGH." Said Tyler, commenting on the Mad Treeant's strength. "Don't give up yet!" Shouted Ventus, talking to Tyler. The Mad Treeant jumps into the air and sends out more berry-like bombs, Tyler and Ventus use their Keyblades like before to send some of the berry-like bombs back at the Mad Treeant. Ventus and Tyler run around the Mad Treeant, casting Fire and Blizzard spells at the beast, causing the Mad Treeant to look like it's frozen and burning. The Mad Treeant roars in pain as several of it's leaves shrivel up and break off of it's branches, causing the berry-like bombs to disintegrate. Ventus and Tyler then jump at the beast, and slash it in half, causing the beast to explode. (End Theme Song here.) Ventus and Tyler sigh in relief that the Mad Treeant is no more. They run out of the woods, to the flower fields. "Terra!!" Shouted Ventus, calling out for Terra. Seeing no sign of Terra, Ventus and Tyler sigh and look down. Out of the blue, an apple rolls by Ventus' feet, causing the boy to pick it up. Ventus looks around and sees an old woman, carrying a basket full of apples. Said the old woman, taking her apple back. "To tell the truth, I really don't know what I would have done without that." Said the old woman, talking to Ventus about the apple. The old woman puts the apple into her basket, and let's out a small laugh. The old woman looks at Ventus and Tyler's Keyblades with a gaze. "Haven't I seen those swords before?" Asked the old woman, asking about Ventus and Tyler's Keyblades. "Terra has one. You know Terra?" Asked Ventus, asking the old woman about Terra. "Oh, yes, yes...That ruffian pointed one of those at me, asking about some "Xehanort". My poor Heart nearly stopped." Said the old woman, talking about Terra. "Huh? What are you talking about, m'am?" Asked Tyler, asking the old woman about Terra. "That doesn't sound like him at all... M'am, where did Terra go?" Asked Ventus, asking the old woman about Terra's whereabouts. "I'm sure I have no idea... Must you all menace a poor granny so?" Asked the old woman, talking to Ventus and Tyler. "What? No, we just were..." Said Ventus, starting to say something. the old woman turns around, and walks away, as Ventus and Tyler lower their heads. "Terra, what did you do?" Thought Ventus, thinking about Terra. (Play Theme Song here.- ) Meanwhile, at the Badlands, A Corridor of Darkness opens up at a huge canyon where Xehanort is, and Darkdron exits it, bowing before Xehanort. "Master Xehanort, I just faced those two brats, Ventus and Tyler, and beaten them little to no effort... They didn't even stand a chance... But I sensed potential in that Ventus kid... But Tyler, I just keep feeling something... I also just sensed that the Unversed that ambushed Ventus and Tyler, was defeated..." Said Darkdron, reporting his status to Xehanort. "Oh, so those two are getting stronger, eh? Much to be expected from the "Chosen", but also from that other boy, a little unexpected, but no matter, our plans have not changed, young Ventus, young Tyler, young Terra, and young Aqua, shall march into the hands of Destiny, and then we shall sit back, and watch it all happen..." Said Xehanort, talking about Ventus, Tyler, Terra, and Aqua for some reason. (End Theme Song here.) A lot of events have happened! Ventus and Tyler defeated the Mad Treeant, and saved Dwarf Woodlands, and got told an ominous message from an old woman about Terra. Did Terra do something odd? Xehanort and Darkdron appear to be talking about something, what could it be? Perhaps, that won't be revealed until a later time. Find out what happens next in the next chapter.
