Background

 

The Numero,It is the system from human beings once their were born and embedded the 'Rank Number of Gathering',the tattoo of numbers from their body and have some 'Special Abilities' within them based reflects on their personalities.Among them,they are thousands of people was the Numero and they keep their secret to themselves because they are in 'The Numero War'.It is the War between all of the Numeros and only one of them will titled as 'Cero Numero' (Number Zero),the King of Numeros that rules all of the Numeros after the results of the War.This is not just an extraordinary War......it is the War that answers to the truth behind the Numeros....

Xei walking around the top of the building at the Gardenia City.When he was walking,he suddenly stops his position."Alright,i know that you guys here,the jig is up..."Xei said as he knew that the group of Numero suddenly appear and surrounded him."Okay,you have nowhere to run now,Number 2!i know that you're the one!when we beat you,we will have a great achievement..."One of the Numero said as he and the others and picking him a fight."Alright,alright.......i know that you guys really want defeat me since i'm the hardest Numero to be seen.But this could be the last step you'll ever take..."Xei said as the group of the Numeros begins to attack."Get him!"One of the Numero said as the group jump over and attack him.

 

Then,in the blink of an eye,Xei disappear from the area."Where is he?"One of the Numero said as they search around the area at the top of the building."Man,such a drag......and here i thought,i can take a fresh air peacefully....oh well,first things first..."Xei said as he appear in the air,standing."There he is!he's standing in the air,don't let him get away!"The Numero said as they jump towards Xei.Then,Xei begins to use his Arrowguns and attack all the Numeros in the blink of an eye."If you catch my drift,if you knew that i'm Number 2,you guys will knew that i can use Space,no?well,easier said than done...."Xei said as he leaves the area by teleport to another place,leaving all the people that has been defeated by lying on the ground....

Ashina "Ash" Takahashi

Number 8

 

Gardenia City looked lovely to Ash: The elegant buildings, the beautiful parks, it was all so astonishing. 

 

She decided to check her stock before moving on: Spare clothes, water (in case if her power (summoning fire) got out of hand at the wrong time), and her trusty set of knives (which she called "Shounetsu")

 

Ash was in Gardenia City to start a new life, to become the Cero Numero so she didn't have to be "just the most powerful Numero from Nanimi" It was a dangerous journey, but Ash was up for the task.

 

"Now where is the-" Before she could say anything Else, Ash noticed that she was surrounded by other Numeros.

Xei teleported from building to building and see the area from above."Man......there are like......almost 10,000's of Numero's here....but i can't expose myself......just as the same as them too..."Xei said as he teleported again within no one's sight...

                                                                                                                              Numero 5: Zala Cruscio

 

Zala sat down at the bus stop and sighed. It had been nearly three days since the war had started, and at first, she was hopeful that she would find Xivel here. But she had gone through hundreds of Numero since her arrival, and all of them were little more than weak peons. She hadn’t even encountered anyone lower than 100. Quite frankly, this was getting old really fast.

 

Zala tilted her head back and let loose another sigh. “I guess it’s time to start looking again…” She said, and reluctantly started getting up. Suddenly, she felt a strong presence coming from around the street corner. Anticipating a potential battle, she hurriedly made her way towards the entity, her intrigue piqued as to whether it was a high level Numero or not. When she stopped, she noticed a young brown haired girl surrounded by several dozen Numero. She was preparing to help the girl, until she realized where the presence was coming from. Zala cast her gaze back towards the girl, and a look of fascination appeared on her face. On the girls left cheek, was a black tattoo.

In a nearby building, Frax was playing Poker. Frax found it easy to hide his powers when needed. "Ha, full house, ace's over kings, i win again." said Frax. The guys he was playing against started complaining, seeing as this was the fifth game they played against Frax today alone. Frax grabbed his winnings from the table and left the building, only to discover that there were a few dozen Numero's surrounding a girl. "Oh, for the love of...." said Frax before he walked over. "Hey, bozo's, can't you give it a rest for one day?" asked Frax. A few of the Numero's turned to face Frax. "Ok, maybe that wasn't a smart move." said Frax.

Ashina "Ash" Takahashi

Number 8 

 

Ash started throwing some of her knives to the numeros, which killed off some of them (but not all of them). 

"Fire, I need fire. I need firepower." She thought, then fire burst from her hands.  

 

"Now that's what I'm talking about!" Ash charged at the other numeros, and since the most powerful numero in the group was numero 145, she beat them in just five minutes. 

 

Then Ash looked around the area, and noticed another numero. She couldn't see her number, so it must've been hidden.

  

She decided to walk up to her and say (while waving one of her knives), "You don't look like one of those 'bad' numeros I just had to deal with... are you one of them though?"

Zala gave the girl who had approached her a quizzical look. "If you're asking whether I'm looking for a fight or not, then the answer is no." She said. "I just sensed a powerful presence coming from over here, and I thought it might have been a friend of mine, but no such luck I'm afraid." 

 

She then turned to leave, but not before adding, " Good work taking out those Numero though. I imagine your quite powerful to have defeated them all so easily." She then turned her head one last time and said, "If your someone who's looking for a fight, then I would suggest talking to that guy over there." She then gestured to a man dressed in black and pink body armor who was facing off with several high-leveled Numero. "He seems to be quite powerful." She said.

 

And with that, Zala turned and began to walk away, but stopped when she noticed several powerful Numero converging on their location. "Well..." She thought. "Maybe I wont be able to get off so easy this time..." She then turned and readied Oparison in self-defense, prepared for the approaching threat. She frowned slightly and thought, "Well, I did say I wanted things to liven up around here...!

Xei teleported at the high building and saw two girls below."Heh.......this will make my day..."Xei said as he begins to use his Arrowguns back then begins to change into Sniper Mode and he start aiming at the Girl (Ash) first."Hmm.....this girl is something...."Xei said as he trying to shot at her...

Numero 1: Xivel Sygnalis

 

Xivel slowly walked past the numerous closed shops in the alley; shops which were obviously shut down in preparation of the war. However, one particularly large tavern on the corner seemed to still be open, and was currently packed to the brim with Numero who wished to wait out the violence. Xivel was curious as to what was happening in the city recently, and deemed this the perfect place to pick up on some information. He proceeded to enter the building silently, maneuvering his way through the crowds of people in an attempt to reach the bar while attracting as little attention as possible. When he finally reached the counter, he was approached by a burly looking bartender.

 

“What can I get ya?” He asked.

 

Xivel took his seat and answered, “A glass of milk will be fine.”

 

The bartender did a double take. “Scuse’ me?”

 

Xivel replied, “A glass of milk, and nothing else.”

 

The bartender looked at him incredulously. “Are you serious?”

 

Xivel gazed upwards. “Are you?” He replied. “People can’t afford to be intoxicated at a time like this.”

 

The bartender stroked his stubbly chin. “I suppose’ you’re right.” He said, and then proceeded to fill out Xivel’s order.

 

In the meantime, Xivel began listening in for any conversations around him that might prove interesting, when he heard two men behind him whose conversation had piqued his interest.

 

“It’s getting pretty crazy out there huh?” Said the first man.

 

“Yeah, those Numero are on a whole other level! I’m stayin’ in here until the Cero’s decided and everything blows over.” The second man replied.

 

The first man took a sip of his cider, and then said, “So who do you think it’ll be? I heard that Numero 8 and 9 are pretty tough…”

 

The second man nodded his head, and then replied, “Yeah, but what about the higher ups?”

 

The man’s acquaintance scoffed. “Pfft, Xei and Frax? They might be TOO strong for their own good. They couldn’t take this war seriously even if they tried.”

 

The second man tilted his head back in thought. “Well, what about Number One? Has anyone heard anything about him?”

 

The other man gazed into his drink with a look of worry on his face. “That’s the strange thing; no one’s seen him anywhere since the war started. You’d think that with his reputation, we would at least have an increase in the insanity rates. But no, nothing.” He replied.

 

“Where do you think he is?” The second man asked.

 

The first man shook his head. “I don’t know. But with the way things are going, I hope he never shows up.”

 

Xivel decided that he had heard enough. He got up and prepared to leave, but was stopped by the bartender.

 

“Hey!” The bartender yelled. “Don’t you want your drink?”

 

Xivel looked back and frowned. “No, I just remembered I don’t have any money on me.” He said, and then proceeded towards the door.

 

The bartender yelled after him, “Wait! It’s dangerous out there!”

 

Xivel looked back one last time. “No…” He said, and then turned forward. “Not yet it’s not.” And with that he proceeded out the door.

 

As he was walking away, he felt Genkido burning at his waist. “What is it?” He asked, when his attention was suddenly drawn towards a large gathering of Numero several miles away.

 

Xivel frowned, then slowly turned and walked in the other direction.

Frax noticed that everything had calmed down a bit, so he decided to head somewhere else. "Oh well, at least i got a few hundred in winnings today, time to go and get something to ease the stress of this war." said Frax. Frax soon walked past Xivel, not knowing who he was, but he felt a chill run up his spine. "Huh, that was weird." said Frax.

Numero 5: Zala Cruscio

 

Zala suddenly felt an overwhelming power oppressing the area. She was able to pinpoint where it was coming from, and noticed a teenage boy crouching on the roof of a nearby building. She quickly discerned that he was a sniper, and was busy charging up a powerful shot. Fearing the worst, she darted towards the 8 Numero and began casting a reflective shield to protect the both of them.

 

"Look out!" She screamed in warning, just barely making it to the young girl in peril. She steadied herself in front of the girl and prepared for the bullet's inevitable impact.

 

"I must say I'm surprised..." She said. "Sniping off a defenseless little girl in such a big bad place as this? I didn't expect you to be such a coward number 2."

Ashina "Ash" Takahashi

Number 8 

 

"Not today!" Ash threw two of her knives (Shounetsu) at number 2, having a near-perfect aim at the boy (despite being behind the girl who saw her fight those numeros a few minutes ago). "C'mon Shounetsu! You can do it!" 

 

She decided to also throw some fire as well, in case if the knives missed her target.

Xei saw a flame knives that was throwing towards her but he manage to evade with teleportation and appear in front of them."Man,and here i thought,i could kill you in no time......well no matter,who want's to go first?"Xei said as his face begins to grin while his Arrowgun begins to reload and full prepare for the attack.

Zala didn't even have to look at the Numero in front of them to know that fighting him was a bad idea. His power was beyond her's during the daytime; and even with Numero 8 fighting alongside her, there was no chance they could win. Zala began looking for a way to escape; which was easier said than done, considering there where Numero closing in on them from every direction. She noticed an alleyway out of the corner of her eye, if they headed for that, they might be able to outrun Number 2. Of course, this was all considering that Numero 8 actually had some common sense.

 

She leaned over to the young girl standing beside her and whispered, "Listen, I don't know what your thinking, but trust me, you cannot defeat this man. You cannot defeat the Numero that are approaching, not all of them. If you stay, you will die. If I stay, I will die. Our only chance is to make a run for it. If you choose to stay, I will not be here to help you. Now tell me, what is your choice?"
