SkullKid 15 Posted December 23, 2012 I mean, I usually don't mind how out there KH is, but the whole time travel and 13 Xehanorts thing is just...stupid. KH's plot has been stupid before, but not like this.. 1 luka reacted to this

WakelessDream 2,279 Posted December 23, 2012 I like the plot as convoluted as it may be lol. As for time travel I was pretty indifferent toward it though I didn't really want them to utilize that aspect in the plot, oh well they did anyways
Dracozombie 4,554 Posted December 23, 2012 I ignore how convoluted the plot gets because things add up in the end, even if I'd never condone the KH Style Storytelling for anyone else. I'm neutral towards the 13 Xehanorts thing--I was more fascinated by the "Oh, so Nobodies do technically have hearts! ... Great, the yaoi fangirls were right" thing. I dislike the time travel trope in general, so I make conscious effort to not think deeply about it (Chrono Trigger would be unplayable to me if properly scrutinized). 1 Indecypher reacted to this
Weiss 8,279 Posted December 23, 2012 I like everything about it except for time travel. That was the only real dissapointment to me.
Jim 2,990 Posted December 23, 2012 I agree to an extent about the time travel. But I like that the KH universe has its own rules for time travel, so it's not just like "oh, do whatever you want with it", but everyone, villains included, needs to follow the rules. I just hope they keep it that way. But does it make a plot hole with Timeless River in KH2? I'm kinda torn about the thirteen Xehanorts. I think that's an awesome display of Xehanort's desperation and power, and it's a cool plot twist concerning Organization XIII. That being said, they might REALLY screw up KH3 if they aren't careful with the concept. Keeping fingers crossed that they don't screw it up. Still, Nomura apparently knows who each of those people sitting on the seats were, so I have faith in his ability to make it great. 3 Xian Cano, OkashiraKenrex and HikariYami reacted to this

starlol9 39 Posted December 23, 2012 I the KH Plot!! When I found out about the Time Travel I was a bit like:  However I believe they will be able to make it work so... well... Bring on KH3?
Smithee 327 Posted December 23, 2012 DDD basically ruined TAV's sacrifices, kicking those 3 down even more. Also, the whole 7Lvs13D deal only seems to prove Eraqus right about Light and Darkness. Thus, KH badly needs a Light threat to properly prove why Balance is needed. 1 HikariYami reacted to this
Ptolema 404 Posted December 23, 2012 I'm fine with the plot. Time travel is a little cliché, but I never expected it. I'm alright.

Keyblader 325 Posted December 24, 2012 Time travel has been in KH since KH1. Exactly. We've been moving forward in time since the beginning ;3 How do you think we would have made any progress if we weren't traveling through time to start with If time wasn't advancing, we wouldn't get anywhere Therefore, time travel has always been around ;D
Velvet Scarlatina 607 Posted December 24, 2012 I will love the story no matter what anyone says about it. It isn't even hard to follow unless you either skipped some of the games or never paid attention to things.

Part of Kingdom Hearts's charm is just how much it gets you to say What? Time travel's kinda weird. I just never expected it, but it's not so complicated if you understand what it's being used for. KingdomKarts_:P 14 Posted January 1, 2013 (edited) Yup. Part of Kingdom Hearts's charm is just how much it gets you to say What? Time travel's kinda weird. I just never expected it, but it's not so complicated if you understand what it's being used for. But.. kh time travel isnt a usual time travel. Its much better... you cant travel to the future because the present is only one and everything else is past. You can only travel at 1 direction after you proceed. YMX doesnt travel to the future. Its future for him but to the real people ( cause time-kidnapped figures are fakish ppl who dont rly exist ) is past up to present. This logic explains why the MF at bbs is a non-canon battle. Easy huh? Time travel also explains why the org members at kh2 attacked sora separately ( the xehanortified ones ). YMX told them that they need sora and they prolly decided to test him. Xemnas needed the x-blade to obtain kh. Thats why when he dies says cursed x-blade for he put him into trouble and forced him to suicide ( in order for MX to get revived ) Conclusion: the plot is FAR from bad it rly covers many plotholes. Nick Sideris 1,551 Posted January 1, 2013 Well the plot so far is really exciting . If there weren't people like Flaming Lea, i wouldn't understand anything . Especially in kingdom hearts dream drop distance the only thing i did not understand is the scene where YMX travels with Sora to many places in the past . But generally i understand it all. KingdomKarts_:P 14 Posted January 1, 2013 (edited) Well the plot so far is really exciting . If there weren't people like Flaming Lea, i wouldn't understand anything . Especially in kingdom hearts dream drop distance the only thing i did not understand is the scene where YMX travels with Sora to many places in the past . But generally i understand it all. That scene wanted to show that ymx was following sora all the time because he was the keyblade master. He was checking his power. Maybe he told xemnas at kh1 to go test him and capture his memory ( kh1 secret boss ). Thats how xemnas made xion by the way The << testing thing >> is also the reason xemnas didnt help ansem to defeat sora at kh1 because xemnas s plan was much better than ansems. Guess you knew that each of rikus keyholes is ventus aqua terra roxas xion axel and namine? Riku was inside sora after all. As stated in re:coded, those who hurt, ( the 7 ppl mentioned ) may drag sora into darkness. Riku tried to release them by opening the keyholes ( he didnt seal them ) but the org took it for their advantage and sent xemnas to weaken him even more when the 7 keyholes were opened. Notice how lea wakes up when riku seals a keyhole. As for the rest, its not that simple for them to wake up, but it helped. Xehanort showed that scene to sora to confuse, surprise him so he would be weakened. theres more i could say about the organization movements... ill just say that they were partly xehanortified, all of them. Example: zexion = bad, ienzo = he seemed good. Even axel wasnt rly good sometimes. Thats why axel and the rest of the org waked up at the same exact time ( when they died at different times ). They were into soras heart, waiting for salvation to get dis-xehanortified Oh forgot to say that YMX doesnt time travel with sora ( you can only travel forward after you procced. Example: you time-travel at 1980, then you can only go at 1981+ until you reach the present. ) YMX was showing sora a nightmare En to metaksi 8a borousa na eixa apantisei sta ellinika... tespa Edited January 1, 2013 by KingdomKarts_:P
