advfox 698 Posted December 7, 2012 You just hear that one of your favorite game series has a new installment. You look for a release date and notice, North America: (insert date here) Japan: (insert earlier date here). So would you be willing to import a game from another country far before it came out in your area?
Weiss 8,279 Posted December 7, 2012 I usually only import if it's only available in Japan and not America at all. Otherwise I'm willing to wait.
VisitJoan 2,713 Posted December 7, 2012 I'm normally willing to wait, but I do have a friend that plays Pokemon in Japanese.

Hei 3,233 Posted December 7, 2012 What Keys said, except I would only import older titles. Like stuff for the PS1, N64, Dreamcast, Snes, ect.
Kishira 2,854 Posted December 7, 2012 Lol no, I don't import unless it has 'Final Mix' in the title.
Tails 6,690 Posted December 7, 2012 Nope, I have patience. Even though i know Japanese I am still patient on waiting for an English release.

Cricket 1,180 Posted December 7, 2012 Nah, I can wait, but if it is like exclusive games then yes I will import them.
Oishii 3,987 Posted December 7, 2012 I would rather import games that won't be localized. It's pretty expensive to import. I just hate when consoles are region blocked (DAMN YOU NINTENDO! *shake fist* its been a while since I've done that). 1 Kishira reacted to this
Sora96 17,256 Posted December 7, 2012 It depends. It literally depends on the console/game/cost etc. If it's available in Australia I'll purchase it even if I have to pay nearly $100. I can easily import games from the UK as they use the same region code. Although I've never needed too.
Weedanort 8,786 Posted December 7, 2012 I only imported a game once. And the game was 10 years old
DragonMaster 1,166 Posted December 7, 2012 I don't import games. The only way I would would be on a region free console, and if the game was in English (like, if it was localized in Europe, but not the US). No point in my importing a game from, say Japan, as I just wouldn't enjoy playing it in a language I don't know, and never plan to learn.
Think Pink 1,967 Posted December 7, 2012 I'd rather play the game and actually know what's being said. Waiting isn't a big deal for me, I usually forget the game even exists after like a week 8D 1 DragonMaster reacted to this
