SinHeartlessAngel 555 Posted December 7, 2012 I'm not sure, i picked Zelda since i've played the most games and it was my childhood, but as i'm starting to play more and more FF games, i'm starting to love them.
khoathkeeper13 429 Posted December 7, 2012 I love my Final Fantasys~! So I choose them, even tho Zelda is probably more popular Dx ...I really need to play a LoZ game... I feel like I'm missing out on something here

I feel like I'm missing out on something here Zelda's pretty similar to Kingdom Hearts, actually. I'm guessing you'd probably like it. I've never fully played Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword to rate them for sure, but they don't really appeal to me as much as some of the older Zeldas do. WakelessDream 2,282 Posted December 7, 2012 Oh man, I loved Oracle of Ages growing up, too! I was actually about nine years old when I played my first Zelda game, whereas I played my first Final Fantasy at four. I haven't played XIII-2 myself so I cannot say for sure, but I've always heard--and experienced this a little myself--that the mid-FFs are better. Overall, I love both series a lot and have a hard time deciphering which I like more! I must have been 7 or 8 when I played Oracle of Ages, my first zelda game the maku tree wanting to marry link when she grew up ohhh and link's crazy dance among other things. 1 Mystics Apprentice reacted to this
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted December 7, 2012 (edited) I must have been 7 or 8 when I played Oracle of Ages, my first zelda game < 3 When I wasn't playing pokemon blue version I was playing ages all the time. I like it better than seasons lol, there are so many things I love about that game, nayru's song, all the tunes you can play on the harp, the dungeons were much more of a challenge, the maku tree wanting to marry link when she grew up ohhh and link's crazy dance among other things. ... Are you TRYING to change my vote?! lol, just kidding. But yeah, I'll never forget that crazy Link dance; loved it. I'd still rate Oracle of Ages higher than most of the Zeldas I've played, especially Phantom Hourglass. Oracle of Seasons was good too, but not as good as its partner. Just curious, have you played both? Edited December 7, 2012 by Mystics Apprentice

Just curious, have you played both? Yes I'm trying to change your vote, its all part of my master plan to change this website into a Zelda fansite >:0 just kidding lol... Imo phantom hourglass wasn't as good as most of the other zelda games. I've played both games but I've only beaten Oracle of Ages, I started playing Seasons maybe a year or two ago, but I'm not exactly playing that on a gameboy color like I should be, so sometimes when I save its a bit glitchy, and so it's going to probably take me longer to beat than usual lol, plus because the saving is glitchy I don't have much incentive for playing it as frequently as I did Ages. But I did link the two games together once upon a time to fight Ganon. 1 Mystics Apprentice reacted to this
dusk 910 Posted December 7, 2012 Final Fantasy, Zeldas have fun gameplay, but I'm not so big fan of story and musics. Both are good series, but I have to say that gameplay, story and musics of Final Fantasies takes cake for me.
Zola 3,038 Posted December 9, 2012 (edited) Zelda's pretty similar to Kingdom Hearts, actually. I'm guessing you'd probably like it. I've never fully played Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword to rate them for sure, but they don't really appeal to me as much as some of the older Zeldas do. To be honest, they didn't appeal to me either at first, but after I got over myself and tried them, I ended up liking them an awful lot. For me, I always have this internal pride struggle between liking new video games and being loyal to the old ones I love. Skyward sword, for instance. The graphics were like they tried to mix Twilight Princess with Wind Waker, and that weirded me out, so I didn't want to play it at all, but then when my brother bought it, I decided to try it. It ended up being wonderful, in my opinion. THAT ENDING GAVE ME SOOO MANY FEELS. ;~; And if nothing else, it was worth it just for <3 THATAWESOMELIGHTNINGBATTLEOFDOOMWITHDEMISE!!! AAAAH! I'MSTILLDYINGFROMHOWAWESOMETHATWAS!!! <3 (Now if I can just get over them putting a train in spirit tracks, maybe I'll play that one...) Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted December 10, 2012 Wow, I'm really surprised by the poll results! Final Fantasy and Zelda are close to tied! I think this proves that both are excellent video game series. (...Now then, I wonder what would've happened if I asked if Kingdom Hearts or Zelda was more popular...)
