KH3D One thing that you gotta hate about Dream Drop Distance

Recommended Posts

There really wasn't anything else to do in worlds than progressing in mainstory. Also you couldn't interact with anyone.

Dream Eaters were boring enemies.

Well, I liked the game, just some details that were a little annoying. Not about Rku's new haircut. Actually, it was good, even to his KH2 "form", when the videos had good quality (the first video from KH3D he seemed creepy, but he turned out ok). I honestly prefer the long hair, but the short wasn't bad.

The Drop System... Well, I was uneasy, because I thought that there was gonna be a lot of pressure, but not that much. In fact, after a couple times, I didn't mind at all. of course, having to start bosses over is kinda lame, but it didn't happen that frequently.

But what I dislike, is how Sora seemed, like in CoM, a big fool. When they put Sora and Riku together, they tend to make Sora sound more silly than he actually is, and too childish. While Riku is cool (both ways), he thinks twice about what he does, and notice things around him easily. Sora follows his heart and we get it, but in KH2 he seemed more mature, while in KH3D he came back worse than in KH1.

And TWTNW sounded creepier than ever, probably because of the background music, and the Organization being baddass"er"

mmmm Oh yeah! I hate Julius! I mean, why not a Secret Boss who have relation for an upcoming game like the previous KH Games? Another one is why not the Spirit Anti-Black Coat? Would be amazing if that nightmare was a Spirit and battles alongside friends, like the first encounter with Neku but we can't battle alongside him :(

Yeah TWTNW creeped the hell out of me and it overall just felt more eerie like something wasn't right.

Riku's portion of it was also creepy since your going through an entire empty castle that belonged to one of the strongest foes in the series to date.

1. young riku and botox sora. although i enjoyed it when they showed the older version of sora at times.

2. being in a boss-battle, then you drop and you have to start alllll over again when you go back

3. how cute the dream-eaters were. jeez, i want to fight bad guys, not cute, hoppy things that hurt you >.<

4. the stupid "the world ends with you"characters. ESPECIALLY JOSHUA! the final fantasy characters were wayyyyyy better

Pretty much this.

I really like the game play, but the story was... not bad but... it was just like "Oh, yeah, Disney World, let's do the movies in SHORT(!) without any real explanations and rushing!" - if they had done proper stories than I would be much happier about it without Xehanort being there.

It was everything:Hey, new world.

Hey, new people I hardly know, but u and I r bestest friends NOW!Hey, boss!

Hey, Xehanort andhey to your cryptic speeches.

Hey, the world is finished and nothing else to do anymore.

Hey, the world did not last an hour.

Okay, it's a bit extreme. But they could have so much more with Quasimodo and all the others.

Xehanort did "tell" Sora about the other hearts within him, but that was it. If he had at least learned about Ven and the others, but no.

I actually liked dream eaters as enemies. I agreed with there logic that after so much time it'd be weird to suddenly have heartless/nobodies as allys. Much like the card system it was good and unique for its game., but shouldn't be carried over to the main games.

I also didn't like Rikus new hair on his older self. It looked like a haircut gone wrong, too small for his head.

I didn't really hate the drop gauge, again good for this game but shouldn't be repeated in future installments. I never really dropped much in battle and had to restart. What I had hoped for though, is that you'd drop chronologically. Most the time I found myself ahead in a story and when seeing the next I can tell I should have watched those scenes after. It made their entwined stories feel disjointed to me.

Sora's voice.  It sounded better in KH2, in my opinion.

If you notice, in KH2 both Riku & Sora were older than in the previous game, but in the Dream world Sora & Riku appear to be the ages they were in KH1. Which is probably why Sora's voice is more KH1-y.

Well that's because Haley's voice changed :P

Haley was 17-18 when he did Sora's voice in KH2. He is now 24, I doubt it changed anymore since then.

On-Topic: I personally have found nothing to hate about this game. The one thing I would have loved is if the Drop Gauge would have been refilled when entering a save pt.

Is that when Sora and Riku talk to anyone,ANYONE.......both of them and the others always talk with short sentence,i mean--how can we understand in such a short words?

anyways, tell us your one thing that you HATE....

One thing I hate.. The commands dont have the flashy animations they did in bbs AND the link styles should have been faster and not as EASILY interrupt able =3=

The main thing I didn't like was not interacting with Riku more. He's a Dream Eater...LEMMIE RAISE HIS LP/EXP/HEART POINTS!!!! D'8 Y'all are weird, Riku's short hair is adorable. On both versions. cB

*Goes to Spirit section, selects Riku, and starts to tickle the hell out of him to improve his stats >:3*

Pretty much everything in DDD is a step down from BBS for no discernible reason

The drop system.

I WANT TO STARE AT RIKU MORE OK!?

Pause n' Drop. Pause n' Drop. Pause n' DROP

The ending. Just didn't feel right to me. I want the original ending Nomura made.

The original was deemed 'too yaoi'

One-and-done worlds (barring Traverse Town 2nd visit). I mean, they could have at least upped the battle levels post-game.

And why no Chernabog re-battle for Riku?
