AaySquare 445 Posted December 25, 2012 (edited) Anyone here like me who owns a PS3 and have at least played 1 HD collection of any game like God of War then they'll know what to expect from Kingdom Hearts HD. It will be much better than the original version. For hardcore Kingdom Hearts fans, it is a must buy collection even if you already own the game and a PS2. You will definately enjoy the game better. And the trophy support in PS3 will be interesting also. I will definately try to get all the trophies in the game. jtshiro 14 Posted December 26, 2012 It can be looked at in two different ways 1. Newcomers can be introduced to the series since we are talking about a game that was released 10 years ago in KH1's case and create additional interest for both new games and games that are still on the market (Days and Re:Coded for DS, BBS on PSP, and DDD on 3DS 2. The hardcore fans will get a polished up version of the original with minor changes, which in Japan thats the only new thing. For Europe and America we can get a chance (barring a silly decision to not release it) to play the Final Mix version for the first time officially

PS2 durability speaks for itself, it is cheap nowadays and if you can't find one, you must be blindfolded. Over 150 million units are sold worldwide. Off course, just for the nostalgic glance. Quote Well lets see why the HD collection matters shall we?>Final Mix content>The shiny graphics>A new element after completing the game (lets just hope it's not lame as "New Game +)>shifting the 4th command slot to the Triangle button to make the gameplay a bit more easier>shifting the camera to the right analog stick >New and improved fully voiced cutscenes of Days collected in Theather modeAnd most importantly as everybody else stated: since most KH games have been spread around into different consoles, Nomura thought it would be best if he collected all 3 titles in chronological order into one so new players can be familiar with the series. Final Mix content is only important if you didn't play it on PS2 already. The other points are only important if the mouthwatering US fans will ever gets their hands on a localized and uncut version. ^_^

Tried replacing it to no avail. I'm not one for emulators either, so this HD collection is really convienient, you know with the final mix stuff and all. Sure it probably will cost some cash, but Kingdomm Hearts is definitely worth. Just about 60,00€ for three remastered games, can you believe it? I am speaking about the people that got this problem, for myself I already got a PS2, I just want to say that people who bought a PS3 and never heard about KH will surely not buy a PS2 just for it if they ever heard about it (Cuz they are not fans) but if it was release on the PS3 things are different

Richard Seeger 1 Posted December 28, 2012 The main point when it comes to America will be the release of Kingdom Hearts Final Mix, in which we will have more cutscenes and battles. The overall upgrade is the HD standard and possibly some new things not in the orginal Japanese Final Mix and the abilty to skip cutscenes ( if its a hard boss!). Eric Recchia 2 Posted December 29, 2012 Just seeing this remade in HD is alone worth the purchase. A lot of gaming purists like to mock the idea of placing importance on graphics, but games are a visible medium. And a visually beautiful world is one I can immerse myself into, and immersion is as important to me as gameplay when it comes to story driven games. Iconic Disney worlds in HD? Hallow Bastion in HD? The ending/opening of KH in HD? Here's my hard earned money Square. So... HD graphics and updated character models Final Mix Content - Critical Mode - New Abilities - Ability to skip cut-scenes - Heartless re-colors - Xemnas Fight - New Cut-Scenes fleshing out the story Zero EXP and Combo Master Trophy Support KH2 style menu and camera control This isn't a tiny improvement. Worth the money if you ask me.
Shazzam 142 Posted December 29, 2012 Not to mention the awesomeness of HD KH Days cutscenes. Worth every munny.
