Disoriented 1 Posted March 2, 2010 [align=center] Considering Vanitas was created from Ventus's heart, AND Vanitas was destroyed within Ventus's Awakening, I think it's safe to say to Vanitas has either returned to Ventus's heart or has been completely erased from existence. I'd say the latter is more likely, though, as Vanitas was the darkness from Ventus's heart, and Ventus lost his heart when defeating Vanitas, yet he did not turn into a Heartless or a Nobody, just like the Princesses of Heart, because there was no darkness in his heart. I think Vanitas had an influence on Riku before he fell into darkness. Sora and Riku were very close, and maybe so were their hearts so Vanitas could have influenced Riku. Idk, it makes sense to me. malicious_shadows 0 Posted March 11, 2010 I doubt that Riku has any connection to Vanitas. Just cuz they have similar armor, doesn't necessarily mean anything. The armor probably just points out how both of their hearts are enveloped in darkness and nothing more. I believe Vanitas was severely weakened by Ven and became a part of him. So in a sense, Van is a part of Sora's darkness. I mean, come on. There has to be a reason why the Keyblade wielder of LIGHT is so kickass in Anti-form.
