Setrex 1,031 Posted December 5, 2012 (edited) I think FFXIII-2 is the best Final Fantasy game in the last 5 years. Because it is better than XIII. IX, X and XII were incredibly enjoyable so I can't agree that XIII-2 is better than them, but each to their own. The Transcendent Key 12,109 Posted December 6, 2012 I'm planning to get this game for Christmas, and I'm really excited for it. People have told me that Caius is one heck of a villain, and I'm looking forward to all the awesomeness the game has to offer.
Ultima Weapon 71 Posted December 29, 2012 Mmmmh I can't agree FFXIII-2 is good indeed, but there is no way that it is the best. The only thing that is best in the FF XIII-2 is Hope n_n ( for the design of the character, I thought that Noel was Tidus and Yuna's son, he resembles them) 1 axele reacted to this
Oblivion21 29 Posted December 31, 2012 (edited) Only things I didn't enjoy were that most of bosses could be taken down in first try and that huge difficulty spike comes in last minutes of the game. Really? I just felt the whole game was too easy. Looking at Jet Bahamut, he only had 1 mil HP, compared to Orphan's 3 mil. And all the Caius's before the final boss just required some debuffs and staggers. Edited December 31, 2012 by Oblivion21

For me the Jet Bahamut was only challenging boss in the game (took me about 3 tries) and it still is true that there is pretty big difficulty spike in the end. For example: look how much stronger enemies got in that final stage. And Jet Bahamut could easily hide by spawning his friends back and he had one attack which could put your HP right down to hundred with poison casted on you. For me Orphan was extremely easy. I had much more powerful characters than in FF XIII-2 and I had pretty effective strategy. Trust me I beat him on first try.

Yeah, I could say that also, how Jet Bahamut was the hardest boss battle for me. But the rest of the boss battles were wayy too easy. And I didn't even care or try to level up Noel and Serah at all. That's a pretty nice feat. I was rather ignorant when playing XIII, as I never spent time leveling up in the Archylte Steppe, so I had relatively low stats (about 4000 hp). I didn't have to redo the endgame battles that much, but it did take a long time to fell the last bosses. NightfallXIII 68 Posted January 1, 2013 I'd say that it's more like the best FF game since X. Just my opinion, though.
Lu Xun 2,069 Posted January 5, 2013 Well, I didn't finish it yet, but so far it's been a great game. Better than XIII, for sure. But I kinda don't like to compare with other games, really. I enjoyed XII years ago, and it wouldn't be fair to just say that it isn't a good game to me. I like to analyze each game alone, and see its good and bad points. SinHeartlessAngel 555 Posted January 5, 2013 After playing it and beating it, and playing 60 hours of it in like 4 days. I can say that is the funnest FF game i've played, But also sense then, i've played XII... and i really enjoyed XII.
