Velvet Scarlatina 607 Posted March 20, 2013 I was just...watching. If the ending of The Walking Dead game didn't make me cry, then this sure as hell didn't.
Dave 5,715 Posted March 20, 2013 (edited) It was one of the few times I was floored by surprise. I did not see it coming whatsoever, and the shock lent itself immensely to the emotion of the situation. When Donald is calling for Sora to come back, I almost teared up, because the emotion was so genuine and so effective that I could feel what the characters on the screen were feeling. It's probably one of the best parts of the series. What makes it work so much is that quick smile he does. It reminds us that Sora has grown in his travels with Donald and Goofy: they mentioned that they can smile, because they know the King is going to be okay. Now, Sora finally knows that Kairi will be okay, and at last, he can smile too. Edited March 20, 2013 by Dave

~#~xigbar_420~#~ 3 Posted March 26, 2013 my mom was in the room watching me and when this scene happened i was banned from the playstation because she was scared it would make me kill myself and i couldn't enjoy the mortal pleasure of kingdom hearts for years for those two years my life was nothing but a bleak, monotonous world where I would eat, sleep and mindlessly stare at the board at school, trying to reimagine the glorious moments I had on the rumble racetrack. then one day when I couldn't take it anymore I stabbed myself in the chest with my keys, shouting the exact same words uttered by sora I awoke in the hospital, apparently I had been unconscious for three days and almost died due to the keys hitting a vital artery. after a couple boring days in the hospital, i was playing around in the kids area until I saw an unused television in the corner hooked up to a PS2. There was a child playing on it and despite the lack of sound and low quality (black and white) television, the game was immediately recognized! Kingdom hearts!I immediately grabbed the ps2 (disconnecting it in the progress) and bludgeoned the child over the head with it, i then hit the eject button and ran off with the disc. a few days later i was admitted from the hospital and once I went home and re-experienced rumble racing, it was as if the colour flew back in my life! everything was perfect, every day I would replay rumble racing, trying to beat my best times and learn new techniques but yeah, sorry for the life story, this thread reminded me of it
