Anime | Manga Sword Art Online General Discussion

Recommended Posts

Wow, I loved the ending. I was beginning to suspect that it would be disappointing, but nope! I loved it, everyone got a happy ending, even Suguha (well, as happy an ending as she could get, given the circumstances). It resolved everything, meaning that there's no need for anything more, yet it left me wanting more at the same time. Yeah, I give this show an A.

So, this was a light novel series before it was an anime, right? Have/are those been/going-to-be localized? I'm sure there's fan-translations, but I'd like to own them for myself.

The Light Novel is being localized.

Yen Press now has the rights to Sword Art Online as of August 2013 and it an American Company based in New York City. The Publisher plans to publish two manga series, Sword Art Online Aincard and Sword Art Online Fairy Dance, and the Sword Art Online Light Novel. Expect it to come out in early 2014.

I believe there has been fan-subbed versions of the Light Novel somewhere on the internet. It shouldn't be that hard to find if you're really desperate for the Light Novel.

I don't know if there are any legal PDF files of the Sword Art Online Light Novel in English...

I know most were taken down due to copyright infringements....

However, I do recall back in August 2013 that the publisher Yen Press announced some ties with Sword Art Online. They plan on releasing a Light Novel and Manga series in English

Both the manga and light novels are planned to be released in English by sometime early 2014...

So it'll be some time and it's possible when they release it that it may be available for the Kindle.

It's a little late of an announcement but Crunchyroll will be simulcasting Sword Art Online Extra Edition on December 31st at 7:00AM Pacific Standard Time.

Not sure if the simulcasting is available to all viewers or only Premium Members. That is still uncertain for now.

Sword Art Online II confirmed for 2014.

Some sources say April 2014. But it's not 100% sure.

Freaking quota. xD I bet someone's done a 16.5 version with Sachi, though.

Don't mention Sugu around NB. Bad things happen when you mention Sugu around NB.

I think it comes out in April 2014...

So, only a few more months =3

Wait, did they say that somewhere? Aw dang. ._.

I feel like I should make a thread for SAO II, although I kinda did already... It was just about the confirmation.

There's no official confirmation. Only speculation because the Sword Art Online Extra Edition for Blue-ray/DVD is released in April 2014.

I've seen a few websites already call for April but it's not as credible.
