SinHeartlessAngel 555 Posted November 24, 2012 Kingdom hearts 2's control scheme is really annoying, Its harder to use commands, which made me just use shortcuts most of the time. Its harder to adjust the camera when your fighting. and its just really annoying. I love how in KH1, you can still walk around while selecting commands, unlike 2 where you just have to stop in the middle of action and hope not to get hit. And also i loved the camera in KH1 because you could move it anytime without having to stop what your were doing, although the auto camera was stupid. The manual camera contols were better in KH1. Just my opinion

FireRubies1 1,325 Posted November 24, 2012 No you're not but then again... I kind of naturally hate everything about KH2 o3o
Roxas Seeking Light 93 Posted November 24, 2012 Hmm I disagree. I found KH2 much easier to control, especially with camera. But thats just me...
Jim 2,990 Posted November 24, 2012 I just changed the Right analog stick to Command Menu instead of camera control. Then I would just hold down L2 whenever I wanted to switch the camera (not to often) Except, I just started playing KH2FM again, and I'm liking the default control scheme more. It's not much of a big deal to me to have to hold down L2 to use commands.
Weiss 8,279 Posted November 24, 2012 I was alright with how it controlled.
riku13 148 Posted November 24, 2012 I beat KH2 with a broken controller Sora just went in a clockwise circle so I had to move the camera to actually get him to go anywhere so if I could beat it like that I say it has a pretty good control scheme. _The Door To Light_ 1,507 Posted November 24, 2012 It was okay for me. The controls in the series I really didn't like were from 358/2 Days, but I digress.

hatok 6,413 Posted November 24, 2012 I don't really see why you wouldn't be using shortcuts in the first place And Summons are pointless, Drives are easily accessible. If you literally ahev to stop and cycle through a menu, and have enough time to hope you don't get hurt, you're doing something wrong

Weedanort 8,786 Posted November 24, 2012 The camera in this game is a lot better than in Kingdom Hearts. I hope that they fix the camera in 1.5. Shera Wizard 2,736 Posted November 24, 2012 Your not the only one because I play on emulators and I don't appreciate one bit of QWERTY. 1 SinHeartlessAngel reacted to this
Shazzam 142 Posted November 24, 2012 I think both camera schemes had their moments. The Kh1 camera made it easier cycle through the command menu, while the Kh2 default camera scheme made it easier to see everything that was going on. I like the Kh1 camera better, but I didn't care for one over the other.
AntonioKHT 449 Posted December 7, 2012 I think Kh2's camera is much better. the KH1 one seems kinda... I don't know, it seems heavy, and difficulty to manipulate. KH2 made a huge progress in the camera for me. Also, you just have to get use to it. using commands and walking is not difficult, for most people actually. And you have to shortcuts anyways. It's what makes the battle faster, the way you keep up with the speed in the game.
