Tails 6,692 Posted November 19, 2012 (edited) (Made sure there wasn't any other thread relating to this topic before making this one) You know, after watching a live stream of random people playing New Super Mario Bros. U I started to wonder what KH 1.5 ReMIX would look on the Wii U and on the GamePad, itself. Now I know what you're thinking "Well since the Kingdom hearts games started on the Playstation 2 I doubt Square would put the ReMIX on Wii U. I think it should just stay as a PS3 exclusive rather than just being on Multiplatform. It would be too much trouble trying to get another console just for a KH game." Well, you're right. I know that Square would never think of putting a KH game on the Wii U (though I will admit, I would be very shocked and surprised if they did) but just vision it for a second. Since the Wii U plays games at 1080p don't you think it would be at least interesting to play the ReMIX on the Gamepad? Now i know some of you will think that it would feel akward playing KH1 n the Gamepad, which is why it would be smart if Square made it so you would play it on the pro Controller as well. Just for those that prefer a controller over a tablet. But still, it would be nice seeing those graphics on the Wii U. i mean if Btaman Arkham City mad its way to the Wii U, why not KH? But yeah, just think. Playing KH1/Re:CoM on the Wii U and people making comments/giving out tips on the MiiVerse channel. As well as people leaving comments on a certain level or boss they defeated (that would be kinda funny if you ask me). SO what do you think of this idea? Xalaru 445 Posted November 19, 2012 (edited) The Wii U in general doesn't appeal to me in the slightest, so having a KH game on there (whilst, like you said, unlikely) would just ruin it for me and cause me to fork out a load of money for a console I don't even want lol. I'm not quite sure how the Kingdom Hearts series could really utilise the gamepad, it doesn't seem like effective use could really be made from putting it on that platform. But each to their own, I know a few people would quite like to see it like that, and it'd be... interesting, I'll say that much. d: The MiiVerse thing is a good idea though, I admit. Jim 2,990 Posted November 19, 2012 The only KH title I feel would work well with the Wii U would be DDD, and that's too new to warrent a re-make anyway. Still, it doesn't make much of a difference to me. As far as video games go for me right now, I'm just saving my money so that I can buy whatever the next system is that KH3 comes out on in 70 years. 5 Weiss, darkchaser, Sigrun and 2 others reacted to this

Tails 6,692 Posted November 19, 2012 (edited) Player 1 uses pro controller & TV, Players 2 & 3 have their own screens on the gamepads. Okay there are a few things wrong with this image. 1) The Wii U is slightly more power than the PS3/Xbox 360. So it wouldn't have 358/2 Days since it's more powerful and is clearly not a handheld. 2) Why does the the TV screen show KH2 and the gampads show 358/2 Days? Shouldn't the gampad stream the game that you are playing on the Wii U? Or am i missing something here. 3) The image of Kh2 is very crappy. The Wii U wouldn't have graphics that choppy or pixelated. it makes games look a lot more detailed than what you are showing. the wii u and the wii in general are only children play things in my few there not actually systems Actually Nintendo stated that the Wii was more of a family friendly console. While the Wii U is more for hardcore gamers and isn't really meant for casual gamers. Also it's nice to see you agai. Haven't seen you post in these forums in a few years now. MAtgS 70 Posted November 19, 2012 (edited) *facepalm* It's a photoshop (well MSpaint really) meant to illustrate the general concept, not an actual gameplay screenshot. Of course the actual product would look better. Edited November 19, 2012 by MAtgS 1 Oblivion21 reacted to this
Sora96 17,256 Posted November 19, 2012 Would hate that. Anyway. Numbered titles are exclusive to Sony.

kingdomlanelover 494 Posted November 19, 2012 It's a cool concept, but I'm not sure how Square would utilize the game pad? Plus it would be cool to have multiplayer too. Cool concept, but unlikely to happen.
Oishii 3,987 Posted November 19, 2012 I would rather them not try to adopt the touch pad because I don't think it would work out well. I follow the philosophy that a game should be conceptualized around the system it will be on. TWEWY did that and it utilizes the double screens and touch screen better than any other game, imo. But KH has already been made as a controller based game. Making a WiiU version would just force features on it that weren't part of the original design (and the Donald/Goofy multiplayer is a cool idea but who would want to play as Donald and die all the time ) Saying that, I wish number titles would come out on multiple platforms in the future, especially regarding Wii. Wii consumers are the perfect audience to get more people into the franchise. 2 Ryusuke and Terranort9406 reacted to this
SinHeartlessAngel 555 Posted November 19, 2012 I honestly think that the 1.5 ReMIX should be multiplatform, just for the fact that all the other games were on different consoles, and not many people got to play them all. So having it multplatform will let people who have never played Kingdom Hearts regardless of console enjoy it. Thats just me. Player 1 uses pro controller & TV, Players 2 & 3 have their own screens on the gamepads. Wut, I really want to play that for some reason 1 Mirr0rVS13 reacted to this

Ryusuke 16 Posted November 19, 2012 @MAtgS: That'd be an interesting concept. I kinda sorta want to see them try something like that. As for it being on the Wii U...why the hell not? The series has been scattered on the GBA, DS, and 3DS, and part of that audience is getting a Wii U (and they were pretty lost to begin with I imagine), so it'd be wrong not to include that with the Wii U if they plan on going multiplatform at some point. 1 Terranort9406 reacted to this

Yeah it would be great to see the series on the Wii U. Though somehow I doubt Square would make it happen.
