It's like over $100 for a new copy. Or like $20 for a used copy. Video game economics are always insane.
dusk 910 Posted November 13, 2012 You should buy it from PS store, I don't see point in buying PS1 copy

Weiss 8,279 Posted November 13, 2012 Ebay and Amazon are always good to check. You may get lucky. But my main recommendation would be to check psn for it.
ReikuSSR 1,071 Posted November 13, 2012 (edited) He is looking for an in store copy and Yes. There's a store called the exchange. They have a bunch of stuff and most likely they will have FFVII. I tried to sell mine there, but if you don't have one near you try looking up any independently owned gaming stores. Does anyone know a store where they sell ps1 games? Cause I'm trying to buy ff7 but I don't know where to go that's not online. Edited November 13, 2012 by ReikuSSR

I don't really know where to find a hard copy. But if you're determined, you can go pawn shop/ thrift store hunting. I found a really good copy of Resident Evil 3 for 10$ at the pawnshop. AnsemTheWise 1,114 Posted November 13, 2012 There's a store in Texas called Game Over Video Games, which is all old stuff (NES to now). I think I remember seeing an FFVII at the one by me, but in the end it just comes down to luck. You're better off downloading the PSN version if you can. Ajexmi 446 Posted November 19, 2012 Well the psn download is out cause I don't have a working ps3. Thank you guys for your suggestions though. I got my copy of FFVII on ebay for £14 including P&P with a free strategy guide. It's just a case of right place right time - I kept checking in for a copy every week or two until I saw an affordable and bid for it as opposed to buying it outright. In terms of making them new still, they don't. People bought and never opened copies, thus 'new' status as they are still in factory seal. This makes them rare and, as we have all seen, very valuable!
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted December 6, 2012 New copy? They still make new ones?! You can find a rare new one on Amazon or eBay being sold by someone who stocked up on the game when it was still being sold in stores, but no; I'm afraid a copy hasn't been made in a long time. I have a couple suggestions on getting FFVII. The first might sound crazy, but have you considered checking your local Half-Price Books? I was shocked when I went to mine; they had a ton of Playstation 1 and 2 games very reasonably priced! It's worth a shot, anyway. My second suggestion would be to see about getting a PC copy of the game. They just recently rereleased it, so I would imagine you could find one priced rather reasonably. However, it might only be available for download...I'm not really sure. I got my PS1 copy used for about $25 on eBay last year, so good deals do exist if you keep your eyes peeled. Good luck on getting the game; it's terrific! 2 MyDixieRect and khfanXIII reacted to this
Keyblade Master Xoncron 499 Posted December 6, 2012 It's available on the Playstation Network for abou $9.99, but it takes like 3-3 1/2 hours to download and install.
