Kingdom Hearts: KHXIII (Roleplay)

"How many potions did you get?" Letting out a long well needed breath at the sight of Ventus. "How'd you even manage to find these?" Motioning toward the black coat that her young friend wore along with another one about the same size in his arms.

"Someone was selling them apparently in big bunches managed to buy these together for 300 munny. Maybe if the Organization sees us they'll pass by without thinking twice." Giving William a sheepish smile as he held out the coat. "Pretty nice right? If you think about maybe we'll be able to slip after one of them. Someone there has to know we're Lexa is if she isn't with them." Lexa with thevOrganization seemed like terribly scary thought.

Okay admittedly Ventus was a lot smarter than what he seemed like in Birth by Sleep. "Okay than Ven. Let's get these on and let's scout around a bit. Maybe we can hitch a ride rather than use your glider. At least we'll be more unnoticeable." Taking the coat with one hand she used her right hand to ruffle Ventus's trademark hair. "Good job shortie."

His cheeks felt warm was it because of her? He wouldn't say he didn't like her but he didn't like her in THAT way. "I'm not that short!" A slight pout on his face as he watched William slid the coat on. Really it probably wasn't a good thing he was staring right? Turning his head away while vainly trying to silence his wandering thoughts.

'You got be kidding me. He of all people likes me? I thought Lexa and Van was crazy. He'll I thought some of the pairings I make are crazy enough.' Pulling the hood firm,y over her head she tapped her blonde friends shoulder lightly. "Get your hood up. It's time to go look around. If we're lucky maybe Lexa will somehow get my message. She had to be a contact for some reason so it had to be sent to something she had with her."

Grasping the hood a small shiver. Black hood, black helmet, it all sent him into fear. He had beaten Vanitas's but the fear of what happened before was all but gone. "Okay let's get going."

The hood she had forgotten about Vnitas's all but difficult helmet to draw. Of course he would still have some fearful memories of that bloody bastard. 'Vani you ever turn good like I'd hope you and Xemnas would do I get to mess you up a bit for traumatizing poor Ventus.' With the thought fresh in her mind they began walking off into the moor busier parts of the rebuilding Radiant Garden.

I closed my eyes as I exited the portal of light; after being in that brightness for so long it was taking me a bit to adjust back to normal. When I opened my eyes I blinked in surprise, wondering if I still needed to adjust. A moment later I realized I was only in a pure white room. Even the furniture and curtains were pure white. It was kind of freaky.

“Wait a minute,” I said as I observed my surroundings more carefully. I was still out of it a bit due to my being separated for so long but I finally recognized this place. “Castle Oblivion. Oh this is not good.”

The portal was suppose to send me to my friends and if they were here then something had happened while I was away. “We never got into this much trouble when playing the games,” I mumbled.

I walked over to the door and cracked it open and peered out into the hall. I saw a figure in an Organization coat walking by. Maybe I could make use of him if I played my cards right. I waited as he passed by the door and then I hopped out and said, “Hello there!”

The black coat turned and ran after me as I jumped back into the room. The door closed behind him and locked up. Thankfully the hall was deserted for the next few minutes because anyone walking by would have heard the sounds of banging, rumbling, and a Goofy-like kind of scream. I stepped out into the hall dressed in the black coat. I made sure the hood was pulled over my head so no one would get a good look at me.

I started walking down the hall and would look in every door when I was alone. Xoncron, Lexa, and the others must be here somewhere; I just hoped they were still all right.

I passed by a couple of Unversed slowly; I couldn’t afford to attack them. A fight might draw unexpected visitors here and if they went back to Vanitas he might figure out I’m here. I have to stay incognito for the time being.

I froze up as I saw Braig come out of another room, laughing. He noticed me and grinned. “Hey, are you here to torture the guy too?”

Guy? “Of course. No one having him if we couldn’t do anything,” I smirked. I had to get Braig away from me before he saw through my disguise.

“I just got through with him but he should be up for another round,” Braig laughed. “Well, I’m gonna go check up on the princess. Take your time with him.”

Princess? Did he mean a Disney Princess, or a Princess of Heart? Or was it someone else. Like Lexa. I had to find out. “How’s she holding up?”

“Little fighter she is but Vanitas will get through to her in her training,” Braig said as he disappeared from sight.

Lexa? Vanitas? Training? Oh this was not good, I thought, as I remembered some incidents from my Nobody. Had to get her out before Vanitas unleashed something we weren’t prepared for. But not alone.

I opened the door in front of me and started going down a long staircase, leading to their tortured prisoner at the bottom. “You?!” I exclaimed in shock.

Lexa and I had been flying near The Keyblade Graveyard when the darkness hit. Both Lexa and I were thrown from my keyblade glider as we started tumbleing towards the Keyblade Graveyard. Then the darkness attacked me once more and I lost concisnuss. When I came to I was in Ansem the Wise's lab.

"About time you wokeup," a familiar voice said behind me.

"You!" I shouted as I summoned Way to Dawn and turned to face my dark self. "What have you done with Lexa?!"

"I've done nothing to her yet," he said with an evil laugh. "She's safe with Xehanort."

"Just what is it you and Xehanort are up to?" I demanded.

"Xehanort is planning to take over the worlds obviously," My dark self said as he began to circle around me. "As for my plan, well father always did say that if God were just instead of merciful mankind would have been wiped out long ago."

"Wait! Are you trying to say that you plan to destroy everything?!" I said.

"Bingo. Someone bring the man a cigar." My dark self mocked. "Of course there are only two major obstacles in my way. You and Lexa."

"What about Rixec?" I said.

"The bringer of light? He is nothing more than a nucsiance. However I did an excellent job of makeing it seem like he was a threat and now all goes according to my plan." My dark self said. "The only real threats are you and Lexa. So once I'm done with you I'll be going after her next."

At that I snapped and charged at my dark self. Thus began our epic duel.

No one knew anything except black coated figures kept entering and leaving the place at random. Of course they didn't know anymore than that. "So shortie you ready to go to Castle Oblivion? You don't have to go if you don't want to." Turning toward her friend she kept The hood down to cover her face.

"Ya I'm gonna be alright. Vanitas's won't me away you need to find your friends. Then you'll help me find mine where ever they went to." Trying to sound as cheerful as he could the nervousness was easily heard. "Maybe I might figure out how I woke up. Someone had to have been evolved but I can't remember there voice or what they looked like."

Poor Ventus he was trying so hard. It was honestly frustrating her so much. "Okay then I kept the Star Shard from Yen Sid. We'll use it to get there pretty unnoticed but then we'll go such for The Room of Awakening." (Did I get it right?) Holding out the small purple shard whil she waited for Ventus to grab onto it.

'A Star Shard?! This should be very fun.' Putting his hand on it a soft glow started emitting from it. "Okay let's get going to Castle Oblivion." It flashed suddenly before they were both off in a wild zip line out of Radiant Garden heading to Castle Oblivion. 'Please tell me that it's not going to turn bad. I hope we don't have to run into anyone. Maybe then this won't seem so bad. Life isn't going to be very fair though.' Unpleasant thoughts in his head he hoped only for the very best.

I was sent flying through the window. I tried to land on my feet as best as I could, but I ended up twisting my ankle. I yelled out in pain. I had only been battleing my darker self for about three minutes and already I had four cracked ribs, was coughing up blood, and now a twisted ankle. However, my darker self barely had a scratch on him.

"Is that really the best you can do?" he mocked as he glided out of the broken window.

I quickly used curaga to heal my inguries and charged at him again. Unfortunately, he was able to block my attack and repel me.

"You really are pathetic," my darker self said. "Perhaps Lexa can give me more of a challenge."

"Leave her alone!" I shouted as I once again charged at him. However, my draker self vanished into a corridor of darkness before my attack could make contact.

I quickly suumoned my keyblade armour and my keyblade glider and took off into the lanes between. Inside the lanes between I found myself being drawn towards Castle Oblivion. I didn't know why or how I was being drawn to that particular world. All I knew was that I had to find Lexa before my dark self did.

The nightmares didn't stop. On the contrary, having found a rather raw nerve, dark-me decided, "Hey, if I can make Lexa go absolutely out of her mind, first-class ticket to the outside world!" As you can see, I'm in a rather sarcastic, dark mood. You would be too if you went through your own personal hell every night, screaming your lungs out to the point of nearly permanently damaging your vocal cords.

Yeah, I'm in a bad mood. Bite me.

I had stayed at the The World that Never Was for about 2 weeks (minus the three days I was out). By the third day of me shrieking my head off, Vanitas had made a semi-permanent residence in my room. I was getting increasingly exhausted everyday, but Vanitas insisted I train harder. Maybe he was hoping one day I'd be so tired, I'd just pass out. Secretly, I was hoping that as well.

Vanitas had tried everything to make the nightmares go away. Medicine, potions, spells (Oh, the spells were literally a nightmare; we agreed: NEVER AGAIN), and now Vanitas was on his last idea. Vanitas had offered to try to remove her from within, but I point-blank refused. I wouldn't have that monstrosity unleashed upon the world just to have a good night's sleep. But that's not saying I'm not tempted....

"Alright, we'll stop there today." Vanitas said. I desummoned Bond of Flame. "Better, not good enough, but better." Vanitas said. I went and washed up a bit. I stared at the ever increasingly present dark bags under my eyes. I was starting to look like a drug addict. I also noticed my face was paler than normal. I shrugged it off as time away from the sun. I missed the sun and day and plants and sleep. Of course, no one else here would understand that. I was a small candle in a overwhelming pool of darkness.

I walked out to Twilight's View, sat at the edge of the platform and stared out over the city. "You look lonely." Vanitas walked up.

"...I want to be alone." I said. "No, you don't." Vanitas replied. "Correction: I don't want to be near you."

"I brought you an espresso." He tried. Oh, yeah, forgot to mention that. My caffeine intake levels have risen drastically over the last few days: coffee->latte->espresso->uber-espresso. "Thanks." I took the foam cup. "You seem depressed. Want to talk?" For some reasons unknown to me, Vanitas had gotten more and more curious about me, probably to just annoy me. "No." I said. "Sheesh, and I thought I had bad moods. What's got your coat in a twist?" He asked. "Everything." I said. "More specific." He demanded. I laughed humorlessly. I curled my knees up and wrapped my arms around them.

"I'm just so sick of this. I'm sick of not seeing the sun. I'm sick of not being able to sleep well. I'm sick of the nightmares. I'm sick of almost  crashing right after training. I'm sick of you being the only person I see since you managed to scare them all off. And the thing I'm most sick of is...." I stopped. "The thing I'm most sick of...is the not knowing and the knowing." I said, almost silent.

We sat in silence, Vanitas thinking over what I had said. "You...want to go to another world?" He asked.

"What?!" I said, "Look, I'm not asking again. Yes or no?" "Yes, yes, I'm just a little shocked. Let's go!" I said, perked a little. Vanitas opened a dark corridor. He stood in front of it, facing me. "Don't think you can escape, because you can't. Got it?" He said, seriously. I nodded my head rapidly. He grabbed my hand.

I walked behind him keeping up with his quick pace easily. We suddenly stopped. Vanitas swiftly moved me in front of him and covered my eyes with one of his hands. "Don't panic; I just want it to be a surprise." He muttered. We walked more slowly for a while and we stopped. Vanitas uncovered my eyes.

I was blinded for a moment, then my eyes adjusted. I stared at the seashore as I recognized the place. "Destiny Islands." I said. "I thought you might like it." I nodded. "Thank you so much; this is..." I stopped and laughed. "I really don't have words for this."

After a while, we sat at the bent palm tree and talked a bit. I was much more open here and I dare say I got into a much better mood. "Dude, did you see Xig -double dammit, that's the third time I've done that- "-Vanitas chuckled at my mock frustration-" Braig's face when he realized he got the last cup of espresso yesterday?" I said. "I honestly thought you were going to kill him." Vanitas said. "If I hadn't wanted regular coffee, I might've tried to." I laughed. "Oh, triple dammit, I left all my electronics in my room." I said. "Yeah, me too." Vanitas said.

I suddenly got hit with a stroke of devious imagination. "Vanitas, you don't mind water?" I said, slyly. "No, why do you ask?" I grinned mischievously. "Whatever you're thinking of, don't even-!" I tackled Vanitas into the ocean.

We resurfaced a few seconds later. "B!tch!" Vanitas spurted out saltwater. I lauged heartily. "Oh, two can play at this!" Vanitas splashed some water in my face.

We ended up having a playfight. "I win." I said as I sat atop Vanitas's chest in the shallows. "You're free to sit on my chest anyday." Vanitas smirked. "Shut up." I then proceeded to dunk Vanitas's head under the water.

We got out as the sun began to set. I used a small Fire spell to dry me off. "Show-off." Vanitas muttered as he shook the water out of his hair.

We sat on one of the wooden platforms above the beach as the sun began to set. We really didn't say anything, we just sat there, entirely content with watching the waves and time pass us by.

"Hey, you know why the sun sets red?" I said. "Huh?" Vanitas looked at me. "You see, light is made of different colors, and of all those colors, red travels the farthest." I grinned. "Guess we really do travel here, there and everywhere, Red." Vanitas said. I blushed and elbowed him lightly in the ribs. Vanitas laughed. "So, what's your world like?"

We sat and talked and laughed for hours. The sun was just a fading shimmer on the horizon as we watched shooting stars. "I don't wanna go back just yet. Do you?" Vanitas said. "Nah." I said. "You know, we could never go back." I said. "Lexa." Vanitas scolded. "Just throwing out an idea. It is a possibility; Xehanort would never expect it." I said plainly. "..." Vanitas remained silent. "But I know you won't." I sighed. "Lexa, I want you to know that...." Vanitas stood up. "I want you to kn-" Vanitas stopped mid-sentence and fell over. "Vanitas!?"

"It is quite intriguing how the strongest of us are so weak." I stood up and looked around. "WHO ARE YOU?!" I yelled, unable to see in the dark. "Don't you recognize me, Lexa?" He came from the shadows. "It's me, Xoncron." He grinned maliciously. "F&CK YOU!" I screamed. "Well, that's rude." Xoncron's dark self said. I quickly grabbed the front of his clothes and slammed him into the tree holding up the walkway. I literally heard the wind rush out of his lungs. "TALK. NOW. B!TCH." I said. "You're stronger than I remember." He gasped. "TALK, B!TCH. I HAVEN'T HAD A GOOD NIGHT'S REST IN TWO WEEKS! I'M NOT IN THE F&CKIN' MOOD TO PLAY MIND GAMES!"

"Who the hell pissed in your Cheerios?!" I let go of one hand and punched him in the balls. He groaned. I felt very satisfied at seeing him in pain I knew would last a while. "TALK, OR IT'S THE KEYBLADE NEXT!" I suddenly felt a pinprick in my right elbow. Xoncron's dark self quickly pushed me off. "What did you do?!" I said as I felt myself losing strength. "A fast acting poison. I've heard it feels like ice, although I've never experienced it myself. It's merely a prep for this."

He advanced quickly and shoved his hand in my chest. It is, by far, the creepiest thing, to that point, that had ever happened to me. I didn't feel it at all. "Hold still and I most likely won't kill you on accident. This is a very delicate process, one I'm very likely to f&ck up if you move." He said quickly. "What are you doing?" I asked, slowly panicking. "Fixing you." He said. "Ah, the worst is over. I have you now."

The next I remember is I woke up and it was still night on the beach. I felt something was vitally wrong. "Vanitas?" I called out. "Lexa...." I shook off the blackness and looked at Vanitas. "Oh, God!" He looked like he was in bad shape. "Can you get up?!" I said. He shook his head. "Can you move?" I asked. He nodded. "Alright. You're going to have to help me back to get help, okay?"

I picked up Vanitas under his shoulder. "Why?" He asked after we walked into the corridor back. "Why what?" I replied. "You could have damn well escaped. Why didn't you?" Vanitas said. "Because I care for you. Why else?" Vanitas probably wouldn't remember any of this; at least, that's what I told myself. "Lexa?" Vanitas said, concerned. "I'm so...sleepy." I said. "Don't go to sleep!" He warned. "Only a little left."

I fell asleep as we passed into the Grey Area.

"...sleeping like a baby. Odd, isn't it?" I awoke. "How are you feeling?" I stretched and yawned. I was back in my room; Xehanort and Vanitas were both sitting in two chairs. "Great. Best sleep in-" My heart stopped.

"No. Oh, no." I said. "Vanitas, she's-" Vanitas nodded. "We found this on you." Vanitas tossed a piece of paper to me.

(Well this got shitass crazy)

The white struck her vision in a heartbeat. The grand doors behind told her that they managed to land on hate first floor. "The rooms hidden. Xemnas tried to find earlier on. Maybe you can find it? It used to be part of The Land of Depature." Nervously she rubbed her thumb against the fabric that protected her identity along with her body against the darkness that was lurking around this place.

"I think I can but what happens when we do? I don't want to fall alseep now that I know all of you need help." This place looked so far from the place he had called home many years before everything went downhill for him, Aqua, Terra, and Master Eraqus. Something was tugging at his heart though pulling him. "I think we need to head that way." The way was out the door faraway from the inside of Castle Oblivion.

"So your hearts not liking this place and we need to do something else just perfect." Waving her arms in the air she turned to face the exit. "So who's your heart telling you to help? Say it's someone walking around the Orginization and I have the right to have a fit okay Ventus?" She hated hearts now. Really that was one of the same cause and effects of the also great series Kingdom Hearts. "Actually never mind just lead the way. I think someone else was here before us."

'Someone else before us? She knows them to then who was it?' Honestly he wasn't going to argue he misted wanted to help whoever was in need. Just who needed his help though? "I wonder who needs my help though? I can't figure it out but the feeling it feels so familiar." Which may be or may not be a good thing in his case.

I gaped at the sight of a tall man with silver hair and green cat-like eyes. His black clothes were torn at various places and there was both dried and fresh blood covering him. He was suspended in the air by several large chains connected to the walls; what was most odd was that the chains were shining with golden light. Then again, they would have to be special to hold this guy down.

“Sephiroth?” I mumbled. One of the greatest villains in the Final Fantasy series and one of the toughest secret bosses in Kingdom Hearts; just what was he doing here?

Sephiroth’s eyes blinked as they wandered over in my direction. He smirked at the sight of me and cooly said, “I see you have come with another present for me. Shall I return it ten times over?”

I felt a cold wind pass through me and I took a step back. There was no way I could mangle with Sephiroth; he was too powerful. But how did the Organization lock him down here?

I took a few steps forward and placed my hand on one of the chains. Sephiroth laughed and said, “Just what tortures do you have in mind for today?”

He thought I was a member of the Organization come to torture him! I looked up at Sephiroth and was crept out by his eyes. I should leaves now, but I wouldn’t be able to get out of this castle with everyone in one piece unless I had a powerful weapon. The only problem was it was a double-edged sword.

I blinked for a moment as I thought about what Sephiroth said. He was being evil at the time but maybe he’ll have enough honor to fulfill it. At the back of my mind I could hear my voice of reason telling me it was a bad idea. I gripped the chains tightly and felt the light within them; that was how they were keeping Sephiroth down. I body began to glow with a silver aura and I cried out as the chains turned black and crumpled to dust.

Sephiroth landed on his feet and rubbed his wrists for a few moments. Before I could say anything he flew right at me and pinned me to a wall as he started choking me with one hand. “Thank you for choosing to die,” Sephiroth smirked.

“W-wait,” I gasped. “You said you would return my present ten times over. I gave you mercy!”

I saw Sephiroth raise an eyebrow as his fingers tightened. I could no longer speak and my vision was starting to go dark. A moment later I could breathe and I fell to my knees. I gasped loudly several times as I clutched my chest.

“So why did you release me?” Sephiroth asked. “Or is it a trick by the Organization?”

“No trick,” I said as I pulled back by hood. “Not Organization. I’m a Keyblade Master. Name’s Rixec.”

Sephiroth eyed me with curiosity for a few moments and said, “So why did you release me Keyblade Master Rixec?”

“Because I’m gonna need help in rescuing my friends,” I said as I stood up. “And you are one of the most powerful beings in the universe.

“That’s two,” Sephiroth said.

“Excuse me?”

I said I would return your gift ten times over; that’s the second time I’ve shown you mercy,” Sephiroth said.

“For what?” I asked.

“For not ending your life for your incorrect phrasing. I am the most powerful being in the universe.”

“Fair point,” I said. I had better be careful here; those remaining eight mercies might come in handy.

“Will you help me save my friends?” I asked.

“Why should I do that?” Sephiroth said.

I thought about it for a moment and said, “You get to beat up bad guys physically and mentally that way.”

Sephiroth chuckled and said, “You are an amusing boy. Perhaps I’ll even let you live even after your mercies are done and I’ve completed my plans. Perhaps.”

Oh yeah, villain, I thought. Chances are he had his own evil schemes dangling around. One villain at a time though. I’ll deal with Sephiroth when the time comes. I should hold on to at least one mercy then.

“All right,” I said, “let’s head out.”

((I read the first page of the thread... and then the skimming began. Not sure if this exciting RP is closed or not, but I'm gonna toss my self in there, with hopes for a minor role of sorts.))

I gave up. What has it been? More than five years? Was I the only one who still cares about Kingdom Hearts III?

Bottling my anticipation was no longer an option, after a random burst of nostalgia. I eagerly joined a forum and began reading and adding my own opinions about Square Enix and the series.

Much relieved after finding that I wasn't alone and browsing a bit, I felt significantly better.

(This is where my actual experience from earlier today ends - Hi! I'm Nick. I'm new!)

I began feeling guilty, knowing that I could be studying, and powered off the computer.

I walked back into the room with a couple textbooks and noticed my customized screen saver running.

Hm? Odd... I thought I...

I sat for a couple moments, procrastinating and admiring my work, but then the animation got caught on a white frame.

Is this glitch a sign? Does some divine power really want me to study?

As I edged closer, something read my thoughts.

A voice that I hadn't heard in years chuckled, "Nope."

With more surprise than fear, I choked out, "Xehano-?"

I blinked and felt a sudden rush.

Facing down at some pavement, I began a coughing fit.

Catching my breath, I took a gander at the pleasant looking town around me.

Did I hit my head on the desk?

I sat in the corner of a plaza, every part of my body portraying confusion.

Radiant Guardian?

I sat there for a while, half waiting for this illusion to end and half pondering the scenario:

How does time pass in relation to the real-... my world?

What period is this in the saga?

Am I going to miss school?

*Quickly feels hair to see if it's become epic

Darn, no.

And then the most exciting thought struck me:

Are there others? Can they explain?

I jumped up and did a quick search for other flustered people, with little result.

Beginning to feel like I was late to the party or something of that sort, I began to despair.

I hardly noticed the the tiny Shadow Heartless wandering towards me.

"Huh?"

I vaulted back and became energized, once more.

What kind of ninja combat powers do I have!? I feel like I can jump a bit higher, but that won't help unless I plan on running away...

I know! Focus...

There was a flash, and a child's wooden sword appeared in my right hand.

Several more Shadows followed suit, and I got a bit more nervous.

Doubting my well-weighted, yet extremely ineffective weapon would be of much use, I let out an awkward, embarrassed shout that any form of help would be much appreciated.

((I'm hoping I'll get taken under someone's wing and whatnot, and they'll catch up my clueless character. On another note, how do we get back to the normal world? That's going to be my character's main goal. Through a completed Kingdom Hearts? One of the giant doors, the games never seem to lack? Defeating Xehanort?))

Welcome! I was hoping somebody new would join! I would gladly help you right now, except I'm in a bit of a bind. I'm sorry if this is highly confusing (my mind is just full of Nomura logic) but I suggest reading all of the posts that have me, Rixec, Xoncron or William have made so far. That's all who is still on at this point. BTW, did you do a character sheet on the sign-up? If not, no worries! I just need you to do it really quick, you know, most just to use as a reference until we know you better.

As to your last few questions...we all want to get home. How? I have no idea...yet. And to kicking Xehanort's ass-HELLS YES! Anyway, just go here if you haven't done a character sheet to sign up and see the rules, 'kay?

I dare say after I heard the news, I started hyperventilating. "Lexa, Lexa, calm down, calm down!" Vanitas urged. "Leave!" He barked at Xehanort. "Lexa, stop, stop, stop!" I looked at him fearfully. "You-don't-understand-she's-PISSED." I said between panicking. "Lexa, if you don't calm down, I'm going to knock you out. We've got it under control, calm down." "She's going to get revenge, you blundering idiot! And if she can't get me or you, she'll go after the next best thing! Vanitas, I need to go, now!" I said.

"What do you mean, go?" Vanitas glared.

"I think you know what I mean." I said and got up.

He moved in front of the doorway. "No way in hell." Vanitas said. "Vanitas, I don't want to fight you, but if you're in my way, I'll wreak havoc on your ass." I summoned Bond of Flame. "Lexa, put it down." Vanitas said. I rushed forward. Vanitas hadn't expected it and I managed to knock the air out of him as he hit the wall behind my door. "LEXA!" He yelled as I ran down the hallways. I knew the gummi ship I'd left behind the first time I'd come here had to be around somewhere.

"Going somewhere?!" Vanitas warped in front of me, face fierce. I dodged to the left. I felt Vanitas right on my heels. Screw the gummi ship, I had to take a chance at something that might or might not have been there. I jumped out from the top level on to the lower floor of the Hall of Empty Melodies, giving me distance between me and him. I managed to get to Memory's Skyscraper before the Unversed and Nobodies appeared. "FIRAZA!" I sent out a wall of flame, obliterating all within sight. I continued on into the dark city.

We met once more when we got to Fragment Crossing. "You really think you can get out of here so easily?" He said. "Why isn't anyone else coming after me!?" I yelled, suspicious. "Because you're my responsibility!" Vanitas shot back. "If you leave, it's my ass!" "I really, really don't want to fight you..." I said. "But you've given me no choice!" I charged at him. Vanitas snapped his fingers. A horde of Unversed pinned me down. I summoned my flames. The Unversed scattered.

"Cheat." I said. "I don't play fair." Vanitas said. I pointed my Keyblade at him. "Try me." He laughed. "Sleep." I said. Surprisingly, it worked. Vanitas knocked out cold. The Unversed disappeared the moment he went down.

I picked Vanitas up underneath his shoulder and carried him into the Alley Between. I sighed in relief when I saw the dark corridor still open.

Vanitas started to stir. I set Vanitas against one of the walls and kneeled  "Vanitas, before you fully wake up and get pissed, I want you to know that...." Vanitas started to open his eyes, narrowed, accusing.

"I owe you a lot and I know I'm going to hurt you by leaving, but my heart calls me elsewhere. So, I'm going to pay you back as best as I can. You said you didn't want half-way answers a while ago; you want the truth to how I feel for you, here it is-" I leaned in and pressed my lips to his quickly. His eyes flew wide open in shock.

I backed away, face burning, and ran into the dark corridor before he could regain full movement. I didn't stop until I was inside the train station in the real Twilight Town. I heaved and panted as I came to a halt. "Hey, are you okay?" I heard someone. My eyes were closed as I concentrated on recovering. "Yeah...give me a minute." I said, sweat pouring off my face. I sat against the wall and opened my eyes.

I looked up and nearly screamed. I summoned Bond of Flame and stood up quickly. "WHOA!" He jumped away into the light. I gasped when I could fully see who it was. "Oh, my God, Sora, I am SO sorry!" I said.

"It's okay and-Hey, how did know my name?" He asked. "Friend of a friend." I said. "Oh. So, what's your name?" He asked. "My name? My name's Lexa. Lexa Infinite. L-E-X-A. Got it memorized?" I said. "You remind me of-" "Axel?" I said. "Wow, you know a lot." Sora said. "Yep, no introductions are needed for me. Say, have you seen a guy named Xoncron? Rixec?" I asked.

Sora shook his head. "I'm sorry." He said. "It's cool. You know someplace safe we can go?" I asked. "Someplace safe?" He asked, confused. "You see, I was kidnapped by the Organization and I just got away. I don't think this is the best place to be. Catch my drift?" I said. "Oh, okay! Where do you want to go?" He said. "Um...Radiant Garden!" I said. "Alright, let's go!"

The ride to Radiant Garden was long. I stared out the window of the gummi ship and thought about Vanitas. Vanitas, I don't know if you can hear me, but if you can...I miss you.

((Alright, did some reading and am a bit more adjusted. Along with a music battle of sorts, I found that you're all pitted against the protagonists of the series. The only eviler character seems to be Rixec's dark side, as far as I've looked. Correct me, please. Note: My character is also still in a panic.))

(Can't forget the Nort's either. Even though I don't know what'll happen With them later on.)

This was NOT Twilight Town. "Damnit not Radiant Garden AGAIN!?" Really she absolutely hated this one world now. It wanted to skin her alive before feeding her to the damned Heartless. "Why does this place hate me?!" Okay maybe she was reacting a little much. Though she honestly didn't care.

"The star shard takes you to where you truly need to be right so this is where we need to be. Maybe Lexa's coming here at some point or a clues somewhere around here." Of course trying to keep his friend optimistic would be a little tricky. She was a emotional roller coaster. With her emotions changing a mile a minute.

Almost at the point of ripping her hair out she let out a deep sigh. "Okay you win. Let's go find what we need to do." Turning to look around a chill caught her spine. 'Okay which direction do I need to go in?' Taking a few strides forward she frowned. 'It's so cold. It isn't usually like this though. What's causing this change in weather?'

Apparently something was up because William kept frowning at the area around them. "What's wrong William? It's not like anyone was here?" Anyone but that meant nothing could be there right? Oh boy that wouldn't very good at all. "You're saying that we're not alone here are we?" Another fight probably with terrifying results. That seemed just about right.

(Lexa I wants to have Roxas somehow in this. Can I make a trio with Ven, Roxas, and myself?)

Alright, wooden sword - Not working.

*Takes a twelfth swing at the Heartless, for further clarification.

I know! Magic!

Focus... Fire!

*Wooden sword begins to smoke

Wow. I've set my only weapon on fire.

*Clumsily waves slightly burnt blade at opponents

Thunder!

*Nothing happens. Nothing.

... blizzard?

*A measly snowball passes through the nearing Heartless at two miles per hour.

I'm getting somewhere... Again!

- - -After six minutes of backpedaling and focusing- - -

Oh, gosh, this isn't going well.

"Why can't I..." I muttered, edged with frustration. "Huh?"

*Faint black sparks gather around hands

I see...

I let the icy embrace spread through my arms and to my heart but ignored the dark influence it was trying to put on my mind.

The sparks began manifested and took on deep gradients.

I let the approaching Heartless fuel me, practically convincing my heart I was angry at them, they were a threat, and throwing in some other things that have annoyed me throughout life.

Quickly reaching a peak of animosity, I gave a violent exhale, and a projectile burst at the nearest Heartless.

Though, it flew quite fast, I seemed to observe it in slow motion:

A jagged cylinder of ice, crackling and teeming with darkness - my darkness.

The blast left a frozen patch on the Heartless, before its target faded to a wisp, and it shattering, quickly dissolving.

After reconciling with how awesome that was, I noticed how drained I felt and that the other Shadows were approaching. My wooden sword had even gone, without me noticing.

I... can't do that again, so... only one option?

I stumbled off, thinking about how pathetic I must have looked, running from the least fearsome of Heartless.

Noticing a girl with an odd, nearly palpable aura around her, I directed my fleeing towards her.

(Referring to me? I hope so because I'm taking it.)

Turning her head she noticed a boy, obviously from the real world they belonged in, running toward them. Then she noticed the group of Heartless. "Well shortie looks like we got some Heartless to take out let's go!" Waving him the direction she slid out one sword, Destruction it's dark blade glowing, as she slashed downward into a Heartless. The unique sword absorbed the darkness the Heartless produced while destroying it.

"Okay then William!" Almost saluting he ran Wayward Wind in his hand holding in reverse like he always had. "Take this!" Slamming it against on Heartless it launched into three more destroying the four in an instant. Looking at the boy he removed his hood. "Are you alright?! I'm Ventus by the way." Turning against he hit yet another Heartless away.

Hitting another weaker Heartless she dodged one trying in vain to latch onto her. Hood off she took the other sword, faith glowing with a strange warm light, twirling three Hreartless destroyed for each twirl she preformed in rapid session. Honestly these were weak but if these were here something stronger had to be close. There always was but were was it in all of this mess? "Start hitting or gt the hell out of the way oh DC worshiper!" Haha she would never let any of the DC jokes go. They were all far to funny.

Wait, is that Ventus?

Doesn't he die in Birth By Sleep or... oh wait, Nomura Logic. His heart probably gets locked away somewhere, but... he's here.

"Start hitting or gt the hell out of the way oh DC worshiper!" The girl shouted.

DC worshiper?

I back up and trip over a small stone wall.

I'm still incredibly tired from my previous exploits but make a desperate attempt to summon any sort of weapon or magic.

A pure, white snowflake materialized a couple inches above my head and landed on my nose, before I nearly passed out from exhaustion.

My last, none jumbled, mental process was to admire the cool coats of those who appeared to be helping me.

"Okay here's the moment to run." Back up slightly she slid her two swords away just in time to duck another Heartless going for her head. "I'm starting to think they like heads to." Getting next to the boy who had ultimately passed out she sighed. 'Here's the disadvantage of being a fan. All of this seems completely untrue unless you're open minded about it or hopeful.' Taking off her coat she slid around the boy instead while pulling the hood over there head.

They just kept multiplying. Never in his life had he seen so many of any weaker enemy in one place. "Please tell me your ready to run." Really hoping that they were going to start running away soon. 'Why is there so many going after one boy?' Self explanatory maybe? All the Heartless seemed to be extremely fond of the people not from any worlds here like Lexa and William.

Lifting the boy with a little bit of difficulty she managed to get him on her back. "Okay Shortie start running away!" Bolting in a beeline she pointed herself in the direction of the market. There she could explain to the newbie what the hell was happening. That and this was all Xehanort's fault for getting the dedicated fans stuck in this murderous place to begin with.

I slowly opened my eyes, trying to stop the spinning sensation in my head. I quickly found that my bobbing vision was simply because I was being carried.

The Heartless, they've taken me! I'm being abducted! Wait... no. It's the girl. This is a bit embarrassing... but I've obtained a sweet coat!

The Heartless were gaining on us, and the girl seemed to be slowing down.

I gotta do something! Focus!

A icy mist, intertwined with dark sparks, surrounded us, and the coat took on a blue tint (See avatar).

Focus...

A rather sinister looking snowman appeared facing our pursuers. It briefly crackled with vibrant shadows, then went dormant and melted.

*Passes out again

I arrived at Castle Oblivion to find that it was once again under the organization's control.

"Man these guys really need to find better hobbies," I said as I snuck around the castle trying to avoid detection.

I had no idea whatsoever why I began my search fo Lexa here. I had just felt drawn to it. Perhaps it was because the organization had been know to take control of Castle Oblivion. Or perhaps it was because it had such great significance in the Kingdom Hearts universe. I just didn't know. All I knew was that I had to find Lexa before Norcnox, that is the name I had decided to call my dark self, did. That is assumeing I wasn't already too late.

'No don't think that,' I thought to myself. 'Lexa's counting on me, I can't be too late.' So I shook my head and banshed all thoughts of be too late from my mind. That's when I heard two pairs of footsteps coming up from behind me. I quickly summoned Way to Dawn and turned to strike at whoever it was sneaking up behind me. However, my attack was blocked by a sword so long there could be no mistakeing the owner.

"Who are you?" Sephiroth asked coolly.

Vanitas

I started to wake up. She set me against one of the walls and kneeled down to my eye level.  "Vanitas, before you fully wake up and get pissed, I want you to know that...." I glared furiously. How dare you, traitor.  I still couldn't move; she was an even better spell caster than I originally thought.

"I owe you a lot." You bet you do. You don't even now the half of it. "And I know I'm going to hurt you by leaving, but my heart calls me elsewhere. So, I'm going to pay you back as best as I can. You said you didn't want half-way answers a while ago; you want the truth to how I feel for you," Oh, she's going to punch me in the face." here it is-" Here it comes. I braced for impact.

She pressed her lips to mine. WHOA! I felt a slight electric shock as our skin touched. For a brief moment, I saw Lexa for who she was, felt what she felt, the mixed melodies that played at the core of her heart. I have no idea, to this day, why this occurred but I dare say it is one of the most exhilarating feelings.

She moved away quickly and then, she was gone. "What....the hell?!" I stood up, waiting for the effects of the spell to wear off. Kingdom Hearts knew where she'd gone to. It'd be a waste of time to go after her: she'd just kick my ass again. The most important thing is...

WHY THE FLYING LEAP DID SHE KISS ME FOR?

God, if someone had ever done to me what we'd done to her, I spend every waking second plotting revenge. As it was...I walked back up to the castle.

"Vanitas...what...." I turned toward the sound of someone talking about me. I got as close as I could without being in sight.

"What a failure." Isa.

"The first time with Vanitas was an immense success. However, he has gotten to attached to that girl, and with the formation of Xero....I see no need of him anymore. He will have to be retired soon, along with Lexa."

I couldn't believe my ears: Xehanort was...

"Who is to go first, then?" Isa again.

"Lexa. Vanitas trusts me too well to suspect."

I turned and walked silently away from the hallway as Xehanort passed me by, unknowing of my treasonous thoughts. No....Xehanort betrayed me. Lexa was right; I'm just a puppet, a pawn for his schemes. No more. I recalled all the Unversed in the world, doing little things to prepare for my departure. I opened a dark corridor, leaving Xehanort and the life I knew behind.

"Where to now......"

Lexa

"Lexa. Lexa." I woke up. "Dammit, I fell asleep again. Sorry, Sora, I haven't got a lot of sleep lately." "Nah, it's cool." He said. "How much longer?" I yawned. "Actually, we're here." Sora said. I walked out of the ship. I looked around. "Finally, somewhere with a decent defense system."

Suddenly, something in my pocket vibrated. I pulled it out. "I had a phone all this time?" I said, annoyed. I turned on the screen. 54 new texts from William. I smacked my forehead. "Great." I said. "May as well settle down for a bit."

Vanitas

I wandered around Radiant Garden for a while. What does one do after everything you learned...was a lie.... I looked in a window. I gasped as I saw Lexa. I quickly looked away as I saw her in a black wife-beater, sleeping. It wouldn't hurt if I.... I opened the window, hidden by the shadow. She looked more happier and fiery than I'd ever seen her. She turned over. I backed up, worried she'd see me. She smiled and sighed. "I wonder...." I whispered. I paced over to her bedside, making almost no noise. I placed my hand on her face. I felt myself drift into her mind.

"Vanitas!" I turned as I heard my name too late. She tackled me, again, into the ocean, sitting on my chest. "Too slow this time, eh?" I turned red as I saw she was only wearing a bikini and I was only in trunks. "Oh, stop picking on him." I glared at Ventus. Why the hell was he here? "Oh, you know he could kick your ass in three seconds flat if he wanted to." I grinned. Nice to know someone else thought of me highly. Lexa laughed. I saw a multitude of other people standing behind Lexa's towering form. I tried to sit up to see better. "Nope." Lexa pushed me back down, laughing. "Why?" I asked. "Because I have a present for you." She leaned down and...

.Dreams changed into memories. I watched as memory blurred and faded. I found a pattern in the memories about in the memories. She was second-guessing herself: she'd only had three boyfriends in her life and they'd all ended badly (Oh, I'd just love to break their necks badly). I slipped out of her mind and sat in a corner of the room. I remembered a promise made. I grabbed a piece of paper and started writing.

Lexa

"God, weird dreams again." I said and got dressed. I noticed a piece of paper taped on the window. I snatched it up.

I promised I would give you information if you would train. Rixec and Xoncron are at Castle Oblivion, looking for you.

Vanitas

P.S. You were right and I'm the biggest idiot there ever was for ever doubting you. Watch out for Xehanort; he's out for blood.

I don't think I need to tell you I freak and managed to get a Gummi ship to get out of there as fast as I could, making headway to C.O.

I roared as I slashed through two Sorcerer Nobodies and watched them evaporate. After I had freed Sephiroth it seemed like every Nobody in the castle was coming after us! Thankfully, Sephiroth’s crazy strength was making it easier; though there were still so many.

I heard the clanging of metal and I heard Sephiroth ask cooly, “Who are you?”

Panic flowed through me; if Sephiroth didn’t know who it was then we were in unknown waters here. I clutched Lost Memory and Oblivion and charged around the corner to see who it was. “Xoncron?”

“Rixec?!” he exclaimed.

“You know him?” Sephiroth asked.

“Rixec!” Xoncron whispered. “What is Sephiroth doing here?”

“Yeah, he’s my friend,” I told Sephiroth, ignoring Xoncron. “So don’t try to kill him.”

Sephiroth looked from me to Xoncron and gave a wicked smile. He sheathed his blade and said, “Very well. I shall not kill him. Today, anyways.”

“Thanks,” I said. Just bought Xoncron a day, now to make sure we can get out of here alive.

“Rixec!” Xoncron bellowed.

“Yeah?”

“What is Sephiroth doing here?” he asked.

“Oh yeah, I kinda freed him,” I explained.

“What?”

“The Organization had him locked up and I set him free and blah blah blah, here we are,” I told him.

Xoncron pulled me aside and whispered, “Are you out of your mind?”

“I was wondering that too as he tried choking the life out of me but I totally outsmarted him by using his own words against him.”

“Huh?” Xoncron gaped.

“Well he asked if I had a present for him and should he return it ten times over,” I went on. “I gave him mercy and now he owes me a total of ten mercies.”

“And now you’re down to seven,” Sephiroth called out from across the room.

“Wow that’s good hearing,” Xoncron said.

“What for?” I asked.

“For the outsmarting me comment,” Sephiroth retorted.

“Sorry,” I said.

“Are you sure this is a good idea?” Xoncron asked me. “Sephiroth is not the merciful type.”

“I’m taking this one day at a time Xoncron,” I sighed. “Today the focus is rescuing Lexa. Tomorrow, we’ll hope Sephiroth hasn’t destroyed the universe by then.”

“Well, if he does, I could take h-,” Xoncron was saying before I hit him in the shoulder.

I looked over at Sephiroth and pulled Xoncron further away. “Dude, I probably saved your life a few minutes ago; don’t go throwing it away now. Don’t forget, he’s a secret $%^&*$# boss.”

“You should try fighting him in Crisis Core,” Xoncron said.

“Whatever. Just try not to tick off the most famous and popular villain in FF,” I sighed.

“We have company,” Sephiroth said as three dozen Sniper Nobodies appeared around us. Braig appeared a moment later and laughed at the sight of us. I clenched my fist tightly as I thought back to when he shot me.

“Looks like the poppets are lost,” he laughed.

“Laugh now,” Sephiroth smirked, “but your remaining eye is mine.”

“I got a score with him Sephiroth,” I said as I held up my Keyblades.

Sephiroth shrugged and immediately killed four Nobodies.

“Where’s Lexa?!” Xoncron Shouted as he started fighting the Snipers.

“She’s with us now,” Braig laughed.

“LIAR!” Xoncron roared.

I pushed my way through the Nobodies and came face to face with Braig. Light was emitting from my Keyblades as I stared at him.

“I see you got the angry look down,” Braig said.

“I’m taking you down Braig,” I told him.

“Unlikely,” he sneered as he fired a shot at me.

((So are basically all the characters, no matter what the time period, included? I'm hearing about Vanitas and the Organization, Ventus and Roxas, etc...))

((Also, can someone teach my character how to open up Corridors of Darkness. He'd be way too frightened of where he'd end up if he failed, trying on his own.))

Lexa

I almost crashed the ship into C.O. as I made a quick landing. Hey, any landing you can walk away from is a good landing! I put my hood up and ran inside. Going through Kingdom Hearts knows how many floors of Nobodies is not fun, but by the fifth floor, by thunder, they'd learned to part like the Red Sea. I managed to make it up to the floor where the Nobodies were most plentiful.

All of sudden, I was thrown down and my hood blinded me. The hood was roughly removed and my heart stopped. The number one video game antagonist I never wanted to meet: Sephiroth.

"Shall I give you despair?" Sephiroth said, his sword only inches from my neck. "I should've known you were working with the Organization." I said. "Don't try to trick me. I-" "LEXA?!" I looked over. Xoncron and Rixec stood, fighting off Nobodies. "Xoncron! Rixec!" Regardless of the massive BS I had to get through, I was overjoyed to see them mostly safe and sound.

"Is she with you?" Sephiroth said. "Yes!" Xoncron rushed over and Sephiroth moved away. "ARE YOU OKAY?!" He was freaking out for the second time since I'd officially met him. He offered a hand up. I took it into mine and hugged him tightly. "You're okay!" I said. "Lexa-choking-not-breathing!" Xoncron said. I giggled and moved away. "Well, damn, Poppet, I thought Vanitas had you for sure." I looked and glared at Braig. "Game's up, Braig. Vanitas's gone." I said.

"Whaddaya mean, gone?" Braig laughed. "You really think I'm gonna-you're serious." He realized. "Yep. And, boy, is he PISSED. Said the first person he's gonna take out is you. Actually, if I recall right, he's on his way right now, bringing all the Unversed he can. I suggest getting a move on." I said in a Larxene-ish voice.

Braig and his Nobodies exited quickly. "Now, can somebody here explain why Sephiroth isn't killing us?"

Xoncron gave me a brief explanation as to what had conspired while I was away.

"Ah." I said in comprehension  I walked in front of Sephiroth. "I dare say it's an honor to meet you." I put out a hand. Sephiroth eyed me. "It's a hand shake." I said. "I know what it is, the question is why." He said. "Because it's a sign that I respect and honor your strength, not what you do exactly, nor the side you affiliate yourself with, but everything else, yes." Silence pervaded for a moment, then Sephiroth took my hand and after two shakes, he let go. "Your friends seem to care for you very much. I hope I won't be the one to take you away from them." He said. I turned around and walked to Rixec and Xoncron. "Missed you two." I said. They just stared.

"Lexa, if you were a guy, I'd say you had brass balls." Xoncron said. "How do you just go up and-" I laughed uncontrollably.

"God, I missed you two."

Vanitas

I'd made up my mind to follow Lexa around for a while. I don't think her friends would appreciate seeing me around, but I'd do my damnedest to help her out. However, I had to leave Lexa to her own devices for  a while. There was a small problem that I needed to settle...

I searched throughout Traverse Town, looking for her.  "So...finally figured it out, huh?" Xero jumped down from the top of one of the shops.

She looked very different from the first time. Her hair was now pitch black with red tips, she had a swirling, jagged violet tattoo on the right side of her face and her clothes were almost identical to mine, only Unversed purple and more tattered at the ends.

"You could say that." I answered, guarded. She walked over. "Let's put all old offenses behind us, eh?" She wrapped an arm around my shoulders.

"Just picture it: You, me, all those stars out there." She cupped a star and them grasped at it. "They could be ours, all ours, and the world would tremble at our feet. All you have to do is join up with me and I'll make that dream a reality."

"How about...no. I'm sorry, but I work alone." I moved away. "Oh, and that's such a shame...I had hoped I wouldn't have to do this." She fained disappointment. "Do what?" I said, ready to summon Void Gear.

I felt a rush of electricity enter me and I fell to my knees. "Oooh, nice job, Larxy!" Xero squealed. "Learn from a pro, sweetheart." I heard the most b!tchiest voice in the history of the world. "Oh, boy, is Marly gonna fah-reak!" Xero said. I reopened my eyes to see a blonde grabbing me behind the neck, neutralizing any movement with a constant current of electricity entering my spinal cord. To say it hurt like hell is an understatement. "Yep. That was much easier than I thought. Wow, and this is the guy the Old Man took on as a half-baked back-up?!"

The blonde laughed and I thought it was right up there with nails of a chalkboard. "Alright, one down, three to go." The blonde then proceeded to viciously kick me in the back of the head.
