Lexa Infinite 141 Posted February 14, 2013 “Don’t worry,” I laughed as I picked up the cloth. “You know, why is it no matter how badly you %^&$ these guys over, some unmentionable survives?” “Did the best we could,” Xero grinned as she kissed Norcnox on the cheek. “At least it’s over,” Ansem smirked. “Is it?” Everybody and I turned at the sound. “Impossible.” “No, nothing could have survived that,” Xero said. “That was like twenty black suns exploding in his heart.” Do I detect a Superman vs. Elite Reference, Rixec? ^__^ Posting tomorrow. Keyblade Master Xoncron 499 Posted February 15, 2013 Norcnox Sephirix had left thinking I was barely alive. What that idiot failed to realize was that none of his attacks, not even the ones from his heartless minions, could do that much damage to me. How I despised holding back on those fools. But at last I would no longer have to worry about that as I entered the Castle That Never Was and got greeted by most of my pawns. "Welcome to the alliance Norcnox," Master Xehanort said. "Now that we are allies do you mind telling us what your master plan is?" "Yeah, does that machine do?" Xero asked. "My plan is simple," I said with a smirk. "I'm going to turn on the machine while you pawns are slaughtered by my army." Everyone started laughing at that point. "What army?" Braig mocked. Everyone stopped laughing as multiple voices rang throughout the room saying, "P-p-p-pleasssssse k-k-kill ussssssss!" They looked around in astonishment as millions upon millions of dead keyblade wielders flooded into the castle. "This army," I said. "Make sure no one survives. Goodbye everyone, I won't miss any of you." As I was about to leave I saw Xero shouting about how I was going to pay for this double cross only to be cut off as my troops began to turn into one of them. With that I entered a corridor of darkness and left the Orginization to battle my undead army. Now I had an appointment with Lexa and Vanitas. Xoncron When I joined back up with Sephirix in the Keyblade Graveyard he looked terrible. His hair was turning white, his skin was cracking in a few places, and I think his mental attacks were getting worse. "You don't look so good," I said. "I don't know what's happening to me!" He screamed clutching his head in both hands. "You're degrading," said a voice we were all too familier with. We both turned to see Norcnox appear out of a corrider of darkness with a twisted smile on his face. "What do mean I'm degrading?" Sephirix asked. "You see two people like Sephiroth and Rixec cannot be fused together properly with the resulting being breaking down through a process called degradation that ends in the destruction of not only the resulting being, but the two people who where fused together as well," Norcnox said. "The only way to stop the degradation is to unfuse the two who where fused together. Either way Sephirix you shall be no more." "You son of a b!tch!" Sephirix yelled as he summoned his keyblade and charged my dark half. Norcnox creaked his neck out, and as Sephirix's blow made contact he was surprised to see it do nothing to Norcnox. "It feels so good to no longer have to pretend that you're more powerful than me," He said as he stabbed Sephirix with his bare hand. Sephirix fell to his knees clutching his wound and breathing heavily. "We also wouldn't want Xoncron to cheat," Norcnox said. "What do you mean cheat?" I asked. "About 5 miles north of here there is a device that can split Sephirix back into Rixec and Sephiroth, about 5 miles east Lexa is hooked up to a time bomb, and about five miles west Vanitas is also hooked up to a time bomb," Norcnox smirked. "You shall have to choose which one of them you save, and I would hurry if I were you. All three of them have about an hour." "You bastard," I said. "You would know," Norcnox said as he disappeared into a corridor of darkness laughing. Norcnox Now that I had issued the impossible choice to Xoncron I tended to my machine that now resided on a cliff overlooking the part of the Keyblade Graveyard where I had raised my army. I looked up to the sky to see the way back to our universe appear right on time. I switched the machine on and a beam of light rushed forth from it and into the portal. Soon my machine would destroy our universe by converting it into data and then reconvigure that data in my own image. It also stood to reason that this unverse and countless others would feel the effects of this change as well. I smiled my twisted wicked smile as everything went according to plan. Lexa Infinite 141 Posted February 15, 2013 (edited) Lexa I had nearly fallen asleep when I heard a banging on the front door. "What the...Vanitas, wake up." I said. "Hmm?" He woke up. "Something's banging on the door." I said. "I'll go check it out." Vanitas said and started to walk out. "Vanitas?" "Yeah?""I love you.""Love you, too. Be right back, okay?" Vanitas leaned down and kissed my forehead. Vanitas had left for five minutes when I heard an explosion. "LEXA, RUN!!!!" I heard Vanitas roar. I immediately suited up and ran out. Xoncron's dark side had Vanitas by the throat. "PUT HIM DOWN, YOU SON OF BITCH!" I screamed. "Okay." He threw Vanitas through a wall. "Wrong move." I said. I jumped back as he lunged. "Congratulations, you've managed to really break my rage." I started flaming up. "Let's take this where we won't burn the building." I kicked Xoncron's dark side in the chest, hard, hard enough to send him out into the forest. "You can't beat me!" He laughed. "Oh, can't I?" I said. I put all my power into one song, one force, the one song I would only use in case of emergency, also THE hardest song TO do: Through the Fire and Flames. I pushed out, making every beat, every single pound count. I let myself be caught up in the firestorm, lifted off the ground by it. On a cold winter morning, in the time before the lightIn flames of death's eternal reign we ride towards the fight! When the darkness has fallen down, and the times are tough all rightThe sound of evil laughter falls around the world tonight!Fighting hard, fighting on for the steel, through the wastelands evermoreThe scattered souls will feel the hell bodies wasted on the shores! On the blackest plains in hell's domain, we watch them as we go!In fire and pain, and once again we know!So now we fly ever free! We're free before the thunderstorm! On towards the wilderness our quest carries on!Far beyond the sundown, far beyond the moonlightDeep inside our hearts and all our soulsSo far away we wait for the dayFor the lives all so wasted and goneWe feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand daysThrough the fire and the flames we carry onAs the red day is dawningAnd the lightning cracks the skyThey'll raise their hands to the heavens aboveWith resentment in their eyesRunning back from the mid-morning lightThere's a burning in my heartWe're banished from a time in a fallen landTo a life beyond the starsIn your darkest dreams see to believeOur destiny is timeAnd endlessly we'll all be free tonightAnd on the wings of a dream, so far beyond realityAll alone in desperation, now the time has goneLost inside you'll never find, lost within my own mindDay after day this misery must go on So far away we wait for the day!For the lives all so wasted and gone!We feel the pain of a lifetime lost in a thousand days!Through the fire and the flames we carry on! Here came the hardest part: the guitar/bass solos. I felt myself drenched in sweat. Keep it together, Lexa. We believe in you! I opened my eyes to see my friends standing beside me, holding my outstretched arms up. I redoubled my strength. "I WON'T GIVE UP!" I put my whole heart into keeping Xoncron's dark side stuck in the firestorm. All I could see was red flames. WHOA! WHOA! WHOAAA-AA! WHOA! WHOA! WHOO-OAAA! I turned up the heat, pulling all the song-force, pyromaniacy, and heart power into keeping this up. I was starting ache all over, but I could not stop. I would not stop! DAMNED IF I STOPPED, AND DOUBLE DAMNED IF I LET HIM WIN! I subconsciously let the fires die down a little as the intense guitar solo stopped. I was hurt, I'd put to much into it, but, damned if I didn't put all of my power into this! Now here we stand with their blood on our handsWe fought so hard now can we understand. I'll break the seal of this curse if I possibly canFor freedom of every man! I panted as I passed through the last part and kept up the firestorm. The song ended, I fell to the ground. I started to see stars. "Let see you...survive that." And I passed out, leaving me with the sight of Xoncron's dark side, crouched on the ground, clutching his wounds. I prayed I gave that idiot 4th degree burns. Edited February 15, 2013 by Keyblade Master LexaIIIV
Keyblade Master Rixec 44 Posted February 15, 2013 “%^$# him!” I roared as I tried to stand. “Sephirix,” Xoncron said in a panic, “we need to go rescue everyone!” “One problem genius, this is a deathtrap!” I grunted. “The three are in different locations and time is running out. What we need to do is split up.” “What? Have you seen how strong my dark half truly is?” Xoncron gaped. “We need to stay together; besides, you’re barely holding up as it is.” “That’s why we need to split up,” I hissed. “We’ll never get everything done one at a time. You need to go after Lexa while I get the damn device.” “What about Vanitas?” Xoncron asked. I thought about it for a moment and then I put one hand on Xoncron’s shoulder and said, “I’ll miss him.” “Sephirix!” Xoncron exclaimed. “No one can take a joke in the face of a deathtrap anymore, can they?’ I sighed. A sharp pain went through my head and I clutched it tightly, my nails digging into my cranium. Stop talking and go! You’re wasting time! They all need you! You should only get the device. The others don’t matter as much as the three of us. “I’ll decide what to do!” I roared as I hit the ground, causing a tremor. “Sephirix?” Xoncron gaped. “There’s no time for debate,” I said, as my face continued to crack. “I’ll get the device while you get Lexa. And the moment one or both of us finishes we rush to Vanitas. That’s all we can do.” Xoncron started to say something but he hesitated and then he nodded. “You’re right.” “Course I am,” I grinned. “I’m always right.” No, that‘s me. That movie incident really bothers you, doesn’t it? “I gotta go,” I said as I summoned my bike. It came right up to us and I hopped on. “I guess this is goodbye.” “I guess so,” Xoncron said as he clasped hands. “Let’s go show evil you who’s boss,” I said as I drove off toward the device that could save me, Rixec, and Sephiroth. Lexa Infinite 141 Posted February 15, 2013 (edited) Vanitas I woke up groggily and groaned. "Lexa!" I realized. I pushed off the rubble and ran outside. There was a huge, black, charred crater. In the center lay Lexa, passed out. I ran forward. Xoncron's dark side appeared in front of me. "Move!" I yelled. "Your girlfriend just expended all her power trying to destroy me; you really think you are going to do any good?" He smirked. I punched at his face, hoping to catch him off guard. He caught my fist in his hand. He looked at my fist in an amused expression. "I wonder...." I jerked back against his iron grip."How much can you stand?" He started to twist my fist. i grimaced. "Let me partake some of my knowledge for you: at least one of you is going away permanently today. And you know which one I think it is? You." "SHUT UP!" I summoned my Unversed. "Honestly, you aren't even trying." He chuckled. "Try this, then." I said, in absolute calm resolution. I felt the dark impulses that had been haunting me since the day I was born come forth and I felt myself sink to the background. Lexa had a similar state when she was still bonded to her dark-side. I, on the other hand, could control such outbursts. I would have taught Lexa how to, but I never did bring myself to. Probably would have helped her. If what Dark-Xoncron said was true....then at least I'd be happy to know that Lexa was safe and sound with Xoncron. I felt a very powerful blow surge through my being and I felt myself sink further. I'd lost. I'd unleashed all unholy fury on Dark-Xoncron. At least he'd be much weaker. No one is infinite. Lexa Infinite 141 Posted February 15, 2013 (edited) Oh, God, this is definitely my post I've least wanted to do. I'm seriously going to end up cry by the end. Here we go though: time to change the world. Lexa I awoke slowly. "What?" I looked to see my hands chained above me and nothing but the Keyblade Graveyard stretched before me. I heard a slight beeping. I looked behind me to see a bomb. "OH, SHI-" I started moving back and forth in the air, chains held by an iron bar. "Jesus! Christ!" I said. I started to hyperventilate. "LEXA, THIS IS NO TIME TO PANIC!" I yelled at myself. "Think logically. What can you do?" I asked myself, calmly. I was weak to simply break the bar or the cuffs, so that was out of the question. I watched time tick by as I started to formulate a plan. "Okay, that surface on the timer is reflective. If I can get the angle right..I'm really starting to regret being horrible at math." I said as I summoned Bond of Flame. Hit and miss, hit and miss, I tried over and over as the sun beat down, making even harder to see how much time was left. "LEXA!" I saw Xoncron come in on his Glider. "Oh, thank God!" I said. He jumped up and broke the cuffs. He looked at the timer. "Not enough time!" He groaned regretfully. "What?" I asked. "We need to find Rixec; it's too late to-" He stopped himself and pulled me onto the Glider. "TOO LATE FOR WHAT?!" I yelled over the wind. Vanitas I winced and awakened. I heard an ominous beeping behind me. "Oh, great, like this is original." I sighed. I looked up at the cuffs holding my hands. "Not to mention cheap-ass-ed cuffs; are you joking?" I said, rolling my eyes. I put my legs above my head and braced back on the iron bar, causing the cuffs to break under the tension. I dropped to the ground. "At least Xehanort is at least the smallest bit original." I jumped on the ledge with the bomb. "Green wire, red wire, black wire." I muttered to myself. I snipped the right ones and the bomb deactivated. "Managed to break it, did you? It isn't going to matter." I looked up and glared. "Because out of the two of us, I'm the only one who will make it out of here alive." Dark-Xoncron smirked widely. "Wanna bet?" I said. "That's a bet I would gladly take. I'd figure you'd break out of there, so I had a back-up plan." He snapped his fingers. It felt like someone had my heart in a furnace. "Feel that? In about....15 minutes, your heart will go like a red star. First, it will implode on itself, then explode with all that negative energy, causing mass havoc to nearby worlds. Not to mention the effect it's going to have on your girlfriend." He grinned. "And there is no way to stop this." He said. "Good luck with the last minutes of your life." He turned and left. I clutched my heart. If I couldn't save myself, then I'd save her. I'd make sure she'd be safe. I summoned my Glider. I rode as fast as I could across the desert. I met Lexa riding Xoncron's Glider. "Vanitas!" Xoncron said in surprise. I shook my head. "Land!" I yelled. "What is it?" Lexa said. "Lexa, go after Sephirix! You are the fastest out of the two of us!" I ordered. "Why-" Lexa started. "I don't have time, except to do this." I put Void Gear into her hand. "In your hand, take this Key. So long as you have the makings, then through this simple act of taking, its wielder you shall one day be. And you will find me, friend—no ocean will contain you then. No more borders around, or below, or above, so long as you champion the ones you love." "Take Void Gear. It shall serve you well. Now, GO!" "Why-" "JUST GO!" I hoisted her up onto the Glider and pushed her on, watched her leave quickly. "Vanitas, what is going on?!" Xoncron said. "I'm cursed: he put a spell on me to where my heart's going to go supernova in less than 10 minutes. Xoncron-" I grabbed Xoncron as hard I could on the shoulder. "You make sure no one ever gets her, alright? I don't know how this is all going to play out, but you have to swear that you'll keep her safe, alright? Swear it! On your word as Keyblade Master!" I demanded, feeling time leaving me. "I swear it." Xoncron said. "Then I have nothing left in this world to worry about. Give this to Lexa." I handed Xoncron a large envelope. "This is all the information Lexa will need after this, alright? She's going to get really depressed after this. Make sure you keep her light burning. Else everything we've done is for nothing." I said. "You've got to go." Xoncron nodded. "Keep her safe and..." I looked up as I saw him get on his Glider. "Tell Lexa I loved her more than anything else in this universe and she's the most brilliant, smartest, beautiful, kindest woman there ever was. She'll make a fine Keyblade Master. You were a good friend, Xoncron. Tell Sephirix to keep his hands off, but no hard feelings. Now, GO!" I felt something go down my face as I let go of his Glider and disappear over the horizon. I sat back against the ground and watched the sky. "What a life." I said. I remember a song I particularly remember from Lexa's I-Pod. I smiled and started singing softly. Come up to meet you, tell you I'm sorryYou don't know how lovely you are I had to find you, tell you I need youTell you I set you apartTell me your secrets, and ask me your questions Oh let's go back to the start Running in circles, coming up tailsHeads on a science apartNobody said it was easyIt's such a shame for us to partNobody said it was easyNo one ever said it would be this hardOh, take me back to the start.I was just guessing at numbers and figuresPulling the puzzles apart Questions of science, science and progressDon't speak as loud as my heart And tell me you love me, come back and haunt meOh and I rush to the start Running in circles, chasing our tailsComing back as we areNobody said it was easyOh it's such a shame for us to part Nobody said it was easyNo one ever said it would be so hard I'm going back to the start. I watched a few shooting stars fly up into the sky. "Bye." I whispered. I closed my eyes and waited. I found something in that moment that I'd never found before: peace. I was at peace. Who ever thought it would be so hard to find something so.... I felt the wind rustled my hair as my time started to run out. "Ending at the beginning..." I gasped and opened my eyes as I felt my heart shatter. Lexa....Love.......You....... Oh, God, I really am crying now. I knew I shouldn't have listened to the Scientist while typing this. To answer your questions...yeah, Vanitas is dead. T_T Edited March 25, 2013 by Keyblade Master LexaIIIV
Keyblade Master Rixec 44 Posted February 15, 2013 Sephirix I rode until I saw a large, circular stone, with a gray, square shaped device with several buttons on it. “That must be it,” I moaned. “Argh!” My head split open and I lost control of my bike. It started swerving and then it fell onto its side and I fell off, rolling. I rolled forward but the bike went right over me – which was not a good thing to feel. I thought I felt something break, but my head was ion far too much pain to know what. Aghjfadgjkyuedgdfghryfj! I started limping over toward the device, grunting. I felt a trickle of blood on the side of my head, my skin beginning to break further, light and darkness spilling out. “Ah %$#^,” I whispered. “I really don’t want to die, but it’s happening. I either die like this or when I separate. Crap; I never got a chance to really live. That was all I wanted. Must this really be the end?” WEAKLING! I lost all sense in my legs and I fell forward, gasping heavily. There was nothing left, I couldn’t be saved. This isn’t over yet! I failed everyone; myself, Rixec, Sephiroth, the others. Maybe it would be better to die now. Those others made you weak. They made him strong; they made him a real person. He is who he is because of me. Us. But he’s evolved beyond us. He’s fought his own battles, developed his own feelings. He’s not doing what he does because of us, but because of him. He’s living his own life! Lived. I just want it to end already; just let me go already. I felt darkness overtake my sight and I began to fall. This was it for me. NO! I opened my eyes but they weren’t really my eyes, but the sight of my heart. I looked up to see Rixec holding my hand as we dangled over the edge of a cliff. “You’re really troublesome, you know that,” he grinned. “But, I don’t really hate you.” “You should use your energy to save yourself,” I mumbled. “Maybe you can move my body forward to separate yourself.” “I’m not going without you; I understand you,” Rixec said. “You are different from anyone else in this universe or the next. No light, not darkness, no programming made you who you are. You did, and I’m not letting a friend go!” “You’re an idiot,” I laughed but I felt warm. Like that time with Lexa. Maybe I was being idiotic, but I reached up and took hold of him. Rixec grinned wider and he began to pull me up. The cliff beneath his feet was starting to crack. “Together, or not at all,” Rixec whispered. The rock broke apart and we began to fall into the abyss, right before our sudden stop. We looked up to see Sephiroth, holding onto Rixec’s leg. “Don’t misunderstand,” he said, “I need you to separate us. I have no intention of dying here.” With ease he pulled the both of us up. Rixec and I were panting heavily now. “Time’s running out,” I said. “I know,” Rixec grunted. But your body’s too damaged to move.” “So what do we do?” I asked. Rixec pondered about it before snapping his fingers. “Maybe a sudden shock would give us the strength to move you forward.” “What kind of shock?” I asked. Rixec laughed and said, “I think I picked up a little of you.” He pulled me to the other side of the cliff and we looked down into the dark waters. “What are you…” Rixec pushed me off before proceeding to jump after me. Sephiroth watched us with amusement. “Now I know where my insanity came from!” I exclaimed. “I thought it was yours to begin with,” Rixec grinned as a bright light appeared and swallowed us. I jolted awake and jumped to my feet. I took the last, fateful steps toward the device and fell to my knees in front of it. I picked it up and started fiddling with it. I was almost out of time in this deathtrap. “Come on, come on,” I whispered. “^%$# it.” I banged it hard on the rock and it began to work, but something was wrong with it. It was getting static-y and a red light was buzzing. “Oh ^%$#” A white explosion swallowed me and I lost my senses. Rixec I groaned as I pulled myself to my feet. I looked up to see an angry Sephiroth leaving this world. At least he didn’t kill me. I felt normal again and that made me sad. I had wanted to help Sephirix, but I was unable to do even that. “Some Bringer of Light I am,” I muttered. “Don’t sell yourself short,” a voice laughed. I went into shock and then I slowly turned around to see Sephirix not far behind me. He was barely standing because of his injuries but there were no signs of degrading. “Apparently that evil Xoncron didn’t think of what a malfunctioning device would have on the Bringer of Light,” Sephirix grinned. 2 Keyblade Master Xoncron and Lexa Infinite reacted to this
Lexa Infinite 141 Posted February 21, 2013 (edited) Lexa I rushed over to Rixec as the Glider hovered in midair. "Welcome back, friend." I said and grinned. I looked over the horizon to see Xoncron speeding toward us. "Good, good. You okay over there?" I called over Sephirix. "Oh, just perfectly hunky-dorry!" He retorted. I tossed an elixir. "Thanks." He said.Xoncron appeared, looking panicked. "WE NEED TO GO!" He yelled. I hoisted up Rixec onto my Glider while Sephirix got on his bike. "You 'kay to drive that?!" I called out. "Fine!" He yelled back as he revved it up. "But, Xoncron, what about-" Xoncron connected his Glider to Vanitas's and started towing it. We had just reached the reach of the world when it imploded. I gasped as I felt my own heart rip and shred, tearing a whole part loose. "Lexa?!" Rixec said. I felt a huge void. "No." My mind sent to me a happy place as my heart fought against me. "Wow, it's been a while since I checked this thing out." I said and sat at the computer underneath the mansion."What're you going to try to do?" Vanitas said."Hopefully, I get that feed of Sephirix up..." I said. Unfortunately, I couldn't find it anywhere. "Great...." I sighed. "You did your best, right?" Vanitas said. "Yep." I answered. "You know..." Vanitas got a sly look. "This is the only time in a while we've been alone. "I looked back. "True..." I answered. Vanitas pulled me up and close to him. "You know what?" I said. "Hmm?" He said. I started talking before the eyes could distract me. "I'm glad you're few inches taller than me." I said. "And I'm glad you're just the way you are." I blushed. "Smooth-talker." I joked. "Tease." Vanitas replied. "How am I a tease?!" I said. "Because I said so." Vanitas leaned closer. "If nothing else, you're the tease." I said. "True enough." He admitted and closed the distance Vanitas started to pull back. I looked up at him. Vanitas smiled. "Looks like we're going to be stuck here for a while." I said."Yeah." Vanitas agreed. I sat down against the wall. "I'm okay with it. Means we get to talk." I said. Vanitas chuckled and sat next to me. "What?" I asked. "It's one of my favorite things about you, Lexa. Always so positive. So stubborn. You don't know how many times I've thanked Kingdom Hearts that you are about as stubborn as me. Scratch that, even more so. I've needed someone who's going to butt heads with me and not back down. You're just...." Vanitas looked my way. "In my view, you are perfect. And not perfect as in uniformity. Your imperfections make you even more perfect than that. I'm so...I'm just really happy that you chose, out of all the other wiser choices out there, chose me." I really started to turn red. "You think the world of me, don't you?""You are my world.""That's cute, but kind of overdone, Vanitas.""I know, but it's true.""...."".....""Vanitas?""Hmm?" I looked back at him. "Do you ever get scared?" I asked. "...for myself, never. For you...always." He answered honestly. "...Lexa, if I had my way, I'd keep you somewhere, locked down, safe, even more so than now, but...." I tilted my head. "You're a free spirit and you'd get mad. Real mad. Not to mention hurt." Vanitas said. "You bet I would." I said. "And that's why I won't do anything crazy like that." Vanitas said. "I've tried to do what was best for you. It's harder than it seems." "I can tell." I said. "Really?" Vanitas said. "Yep. You've changed a lot." I said. "....I have, haven't I?" He said. "I never got to ask you: why did you leave the Organization?" I asked. "Because I went back and not even five minutes after you left, you proved yourself." Vanitas said, bitterly. "Huh?" I said. "They were planning how to get rid of you and then me." He said. "Guess that blew up in their faces." I said. We sat in silence for a while. "Lexa?" "Mm?" "..."Vanitas tried to word his thoughts. "What, Vanitas?" I asked. "Why did you pick me? I mean, you've had three jerk boyfriends and you just suddenly pick me. Why?" "Well, it just seemed- hey, I never told you about having ex-es." I narrowed my eyes as Vanitas got a guilty expression. "Spill." I said. "You know how I was your stalker?" He said. "Yeah, what about it?" I said. "You were kind of talking in your sleep and I kind of got curious..." Vanitas said. "Uh-huh. And then what?" I said. "I kind of...peeked into your dreams. I got curious! You said my name, how was I not supposed to?" Vanitas said, quickly. I shook my head. "You are such a stalker." I said and moved closer to him. "Love you." I said. "And I, you, even more." Vanitas wrapped his arms around my shoulders. In those arms, I felt safe. I was in my happy place. So happy. Shattered. My heart broke off and shattered. I felt a strong pair of arms catch me. Not his. Not him. Why? Why was I so hurt? Someone was wailing. Someone was hurt. It was a female voice. She was hurting. I was wailing. I was hurt. I was screaming. Why was I screaming? It wasn't so sad anymore. I was....angry? Why was I angry? Who was I yelling at? It hurt to yell so loud. I felt something hit the back of my head and I fell into blissfully peaceful darkness. I awoke slowly. "Lexa?" I gingerly lifted myself up and opened my eyes. I was back in the house in Radiant Garden. Xoncron sat at the end of the bed. "I'm not even going to bother to ask you how you are." He said, gently. I nodded. "You want to talk?" I shook my head, unable to speak. "..." he gave this to me to give you. Said it had all you needed." He put a huge, brown envelope on my lap. A wet spot appeared on it. I shakily opened it. The first thing that fell out was... A black-and-red Wayfinder. Parts were made of glass, others of metal, brought together like a stained glass window. The word Promise was written in silver and gold cursive on the center, the word wrapping around an Unversed symbol, inside the symbol, a mysteriously glowing stone. It was so beautiful.... I covered my mouth in shock. How had he ever found the time to make this masterpiece...I picked it up. It felt sturdy, despite its delicate appearance. "Wow." Xoncron said. I noticed that there was a chain connected to it and the intention of it became obvious. I put it over my head and it became a necklace, magnetically clicking in the back. I felt tears stream down my face as I got a second look at it. I looked up at Xoncron. "..." I tried to say something. Instead, I put my head into my hands and started crying. Xoncron moved over and put his arms around me. I honestly have no idea how long I stayed like that. It was a while after I stopped when Xoncron said something. "The last time I saw Vanitas, all he could think about was you. He told me you were the most beautiful, smart, amazing woman he'd ever met. I don't remember exactly what he said, but that was the main idea." He said quietly. "Really?" I said. "You were his first and foremost, Lexa." Xoncron said. "Really?" I looked up. Xoncron nodded. I closed my eyes. "Thanks, Xoncron." I said. "No problem. You're like a little sister." He said. Suddenly, we heard a ruckus outside. "STOP! WHAT THE HELL-" The door to the room flung open. Xero stood in the door, looking battle-worn and wild-eyed. "Lexa." She panted and sighed in relief. I stared in shock. "Listen, you know I'm desperate if I'm coming to you! Here me out!" She said in a rush. "What?" I said, confused. "Listen, we don't have much time. THAT-" Xero toned it down. "Dark-Xon defeated-" She stopped and winced hard. "-God, even hurts to say his name, Dark Xon defeated him in order to weaken or even destroy your heart." Xero said. "Listen, I SWEAR, I'm not lying and I'm not going to hurt anyone, please. He's going to effectively destroy the world if you let that happen, Lexa. You and Xoncron are the world's hope. Look, I might want to make your life hell at times, but I REALLY don't want to end the world. And-" Xero hesitated. "Honestly, I'm kind of out of that job." I felt the corners of my mouth slightly lift. "How do we know you aren't just trying to stab us in the back?" Xoncron said. "Would I EVER say please for somebody else?!" I suddenly stood up and walked over to Xero. I stared her down. I opened my mouth. "You know this is partially your fault." I said, voice like gravel. "I know, and I had NO idea it would cause either of us so much pain. I-I-I-" Xero turned her head. I tilted my head to see her face better. She was trying very, very hard not to show her emotions. "Xero?" I said, voice starting to smooth over. She looked up, eyes like water. "I'm so sorry." She whispered. I don't have to tell you how hard it was to keep eye contact with her golden eyes. "So, what is your plan?" I said. Xero looked on edge. "I have an idea, but he's not going to like it." She looked pointedly at Xoncron."I've run through this mathematically, yes, I'm a math FREAK, unlike you, don't ask, and I've only come up with one sure way of defeating idiot's dark-side over there...." She hesitated again. "We need to forge the X-Blade." Edited April 12, 2013 by Keyblade Master LexaIIIV
Lexa Infinite 141 Posted February 25, 2013 (edited) Double-posting, yeah, I know. Normally, I wouldn't, but....my imagination is being really pushy. Lexa Xoncron took Xero out of the room, no doubt to "discuss". Me? I didn't care either way. Nothing could give me reprieve, an escape from this inner hell I was trapped in. I put my earbuds in. "I can't escape this hellSo many times i've tried But i'm still caged inside" I changed it immediately. I reminded me too much of.... "The lunatic is on the grass The lunatic is on the grass Remembering games and daisy chains and laughs Got to keep the loonies on the path The lunatic is in the hallThe lunatics are in my hallThe paper holds their folded faces to the floorAnd every day the paper boy brings more And if the dam breaks open many years too soonAnd if there is no room upon the hillAnd if your head explodes with dark forbodings too I'll see you on the dark side of the moon The lunatic is in my headThe lunatic is in my head You raise the blade, you make the changeYou re-arrange me 'till I'm sane You lock the doorAnd throw away the key There's someone in my head but it's not me. And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your earYou shout and no one seems to hearAnd if the band you're in starts playing different tunes I'll see you on the dark side of the moon." I stared at the roof of the house. I closed my eyes and I saw his face. Everytime I did, he was there. I took out my ear-buds and listened to raised voices. "HOW THE HELL ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO TAKE OVER LEXA WHILE YOU TWO ARE JOINED?!" Sephirix"OH, SO NOW YOU SEEM TO CARE FOR HER SOOOO MUCH, DON'T YOU?!" Xero"WHAT IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?!" "I'M NOT THE ONE THAT FRENCHED HER THE MOMENT HER BOYFRIEND WALKED OUT?!""AND I'M NOT ONE THAT HAS REPEATEDLY ATTACKED-" Sephirix"OH, YEAH, CAN'T SAY SH!T ABOUT THAT, CAN YOU? THE BRUISES ON HER NECK ARE PLAINLY OBVIOUS!""XERO, I'M GOING TO THROW YOU OUT?!""TRY ME!" "WILL YOU TWO SHUT UP!?" Xoncron "NO!" Sephirix and Xero..."YOU TWO ARE ONLY GOING TO MAKE THIS WORSE!" Rixec"SHUT IT, RIXEC, XON! I'VE RUN THROUGH THIS! THE ONLY WAY WE GET THROUGH THIS, WITHOUT CASUALTY, IS TO FORM THE X-BLADE!""XERO, WE DON'T CARE ABOUT THE X-BLADE PART! IF VANITAS HAD-" Xoncron"LIKE HELL YOU WOULD HAVE!" "...""OH, THAT'S RIGHT, XON! YOU IDIOTS HAVE NO PLAN WHATSOEVER TO FIX THIS, DO YOU?!""PLEASE LET ME TOSS HER OUT!" Sephirix"SEPHIRIX, SHUT UP, I'M TRYING TO THINK!" Xoncron"YOU ALL THINK YOUR BUMBLING AROUND, DOING THE BEST YOU CAN, SURVIVING IT! WELL, THAT AIN'T GOING TO CUT IT! IF HE GOES THROUGH WITH THIS, THERE WILL BE NO WAY FOR ANY OF YOU TO SAVE THIS WORLD, LET ALONE GO HOME!""WHY YOU-" Sephirix"TOUCH ME AND YOU'LL LOSE THAT HAND!" Xero"ARE YOU THREATENING ME?!""ARE YOU THREATENING ME, SEPHIRIX?""DOES IT LOOK LIKE I NEED AN ECHO?!" I walked out of the room. The yelling stopped. Sephirix looked like he was about to murder Xero. I began to speak. "I believe Xero." Everyone looked at me in shock. "Lexa, are you-" Sephirix walked toward me. I took a step back. He stopped. "Lexa?" He said. ".....I don't want to talk to you right now....it's not you, it's me....my heart is....I finally understand what the Nobodies were talking about...." I said and walked outside. The full moon was now a new moon. So much time had passed..... "Lexa?" Xero said and caught up with me. "Yes?" I said. "...."She remained silent. "If you just want to walk with me, that's okay." I said. "You...aren't mad?" She said. "...I don't have enough of a heart to feel mad. Vanitas took that with him." I said. Xero looked at me in extreme shock. "Lexa." She stopped but I walked ahead. "Lexa!" She ran up and caught my arm. "You need to stop this!" She said. "Why?" I asked. "Because I know for a fact Vanitas would not want this for you!" I shook my head. "We'll never know, I guess...." I started to move forward. "NO!" Xero yelled. I looked back. "WHAT HAPPENED TO THE FIERY LEXA I USED TO HATE SO MUCH!? YOU BURNED SO BRIGHT AND NOW-" Xero looked up at me with a burning, determined expression. "If you refuse to see light, then I'm going to open your eyes." She said. "What-" I suddenly felt like I was being pulled under water. I landed on the bottom, then suddenly was bombarded with memories, some mine, some not- "Tell Lexa I loved her more than anything else in this universe and she's the most brilliant, smartest, beautiful, kindest woman there ever was. She'll make a fine Keyblade Master. You were a good friend, Xoncron. Tell Sephirix to keep his hands off, but no hard feelings. Now, GO!" "Vanitas!" I saw her face. "Hey!" I ran over to her. "Late for school again, slacker?" She asked, wind rustling her black and red uniform. "I can't change for the world." I grinned. "Well, it's a good thing you like the uniforms, then, or you'd never wear them." Lexa laughed. "Did you at least do last night's homework?!" "Lexa, you're my girlfriend, not my mom." I said and kissed her hair. "Oh, screw off." She pushed off me, laughing. " "Maybe you didn't get the point with Sephiroth: you mess with that girl, you mess with me. If you ever make her cry like that again, I'll rip off the flesh off your face with a corkscrew, as slowly and painfully as I deem necessary. Are we clear?!" Vanitas grabbed my wrist and spun me around. "Stop that." Vanitas said, sternly. "What?" I said. "Stop berating yourself for feeling a very real emotion." he explained. "Is this part of the reason you've been so upset lately?" I nodded. "Why didn't you tell me?" He asked. "I...thought you wouldn't give a damn." Vanitas shook his head in disbelief. "Lexa..." He pulled me in, surprising me again. "To tell you the truth, I've never had anyone give a damn about me before, and it continually amazes me that you seem to." He said. "Really?" I asked. "Yep." He replied. "I started to wake up. She set me against one of the walls and kneeled down to my eye level. "Vanitas, before you fully wake up and get pissed, I want you to know that...." I glared furiously. How dare you, traitor. I still couldn't move; she was an even better spell caster than I originally thought. "I owe you a lot." You bet you do. You don't even now the half of it. "And I know I'm going to hurt you by leaving, but my heart calls me elsewhere. So, I'm going to pay you back as best as I can. You said you didn't want half-way answers a while ago; you want the truth to how I feel for you," Oh, she's going to punch me in the face."here it is-" Here it comes. I braced for impact. She pressed her lips to mine. WHOA!" I wandered around Radiant Garden for a while. What does one do after everything you learned...was a lie.... I looked in a window. I gasped as I saw Lexa. I quickly looked away as I saw her in a black wife-beater, sleeping. It wouldn't hurt if I.... I opened the window, hidden by the shadow. She looked more happier and fiery than I'd ever seen her. She turned over. I backed up, worried she'd see me. She smiled and sighed. "I wonder...." I whispered. I paced over to her bedside, making almost no noise. I placed my hand on her face. I felt myself drift into her mind. "Vanitas!" I turned as I heard my name too late. She tackled me, again, into the ocean, sitting on my chest. "Too slow this time, eh?" I turned red as I saw she was only wearing a bikini and I was only in trunks. "Oh, stop picking on him." I glared at Ventus. Why the hell was he here? "Oh, you know he could kick your ass in three seconds flat if he wanted to." I grinned. Nice to know someone else thought of me highly. Lexa laughed. I saw a multitude of other people standing behind Lexa's towering form. I tried to sit up to see better. "Nope." Lexa pushed me back down, laughing. "Why?" I asked. "Because I have a present for you." She leaned down and... Dreams changed into memories. I watched as memory blurred and faded. I found a pattern in the memories about in the memories. She was second-guessing herself: she'd only had three boyfriends in her life and they'd all ended badly (Oh, I'd just love to break their necks badly). I slipped out of her mind and sat in a corner of the room. I remembered a promise made. "Not just that: Vanitas is my muse, the source of my work and projects and writing,my imagination personified. I feel as if someone's torn a hole in my heart where my imagination." I said. "I'm in love with my work, you could say." "First, you did not turn into one as your light is safeguarded by the one who is your light." "My light? But then why-" The answer hit me like a sack of bricks. "Oh, no, no, no, no, Vanitas, he can't be-that's impossible-" "What is possible and what is impossible are not always set in stone. Regardless, he is your light." I walked in and immediately felt a rush of fury. There sat Xoncron's dark self beside Marluxia and Larxene, sitting in front of a table. "Welcome." Marluxia said. "I see you received our message." "Fix Lexa or I'll break your face, pretty boy. I did what you wanted." I said. "Doesn't anyone care for polite conversation anymore?" Marluxia sighed. "Very well, we'll fix Lexa. You have my sincerest apologies to have made it this way, but we knew you wouldn't come any otherwise." Marluxia said. "Sit, won't you?" I shook my head. "How do you fix this?" I said. "The moment you walked in, we began to make repairs. Isn't that right, Namine?" Marluxia turned toward to a small blonde girl sitting in a corner of the room. She looked scared to death, but she nodded her head. "We've had previous problems with her, but I think we've smoothed things out." Marluxia said, still looking at her. Lexa stirred. "She wakes." Xoncron's dark self said, looking at her hungrily. I clutched her tighter. Lexa awakened, her green eyes looking like emerald infernos. "Vanitas." "Don't move; we're in a very precarious situation." I said. She nodded. "Thank you. I'll take my leave." I said and turned around. "Leaving so soon?" Marluxia said. Larxene laughed. "Treachery." I said. "Yep, you've been 100% duped, idiot." Larxene said. "Or so you think." I turned back around. "I lied when I said I was alone, because, in truth-" Several of my Unversed appeared. "I'm never alone." I dodged out of the way as Xoncron's dark self came flying from behind the overturned table. I opened a dark corridor and ran out. "No, wait, Namine!" Lexa cried out. I groaned and turned back. The occupants of Castle Oblivion were having a hard time defeating my Unversed. "Lexa, run home-don't you dare say no, just go, trust me!" I said and dropped her back in the dark corridor. "And one more thing-" She looked back as she prepared to run. "I love you more than I love me." I quickly said and ran into the fighting room. I ran through the room, dodging lighting, darkness and Marluxia's scythe. "Let's go!" I grabbed Namine's hand. I opened a second dark corridor and sprinted into it, ignoring Marluxia's cry of "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" I promise never let you lose yourself. I walked out to Twilight's View, sat at the edge of the platform and stared out over the city. "You look lonely." Vanitas walked up. "...I want to be alone." I said. "No, you don't." Vanitas replied. "Correction: I don't want to be near you." "I'm just so sick of this. I'm sick of not seeing the sun. I'm sick of not being able to sleep well. I'm sick of the nightmares. I'm sick of almost crashing right after training. I'm sick of you being the only person I see since you managed to scare them all off. And the thing I'm most sick of is...." I stopped. "The thing I'm most sick of...is the not knowing and the knowing." I said, almost silent. We sat in silence, Vanitas thinking over what I had said. "You...want to go to another world?" He asked. "What?!" I said, "Look, I'm not asking again. Yes or no?" "Yes, yes, I'm just a little shocked. Let's go!" I said, perked a little. Vanitas opened a dark corridor. He stood in front of it, facing me. "Don't think you can escape, because you can't. Got it?" He said, seriously. I nodded my head rapidly. He grabbed my hand. I walked behind him keeping up with his quick pace easily. We suddenly stopped. Vanitas swiftly moved me in front of him and covered my eyes with one of his hands. "Don't panic; I just want it to be a surprise." He muttered. We walked more slowly for a while and we stopped. Vanitas uncovered my eyes. I was blinded for a moment, then my eyes adjusted. I stared at the seashore as I recognized the place. "Destiny Islands." I said. "I thought you might like it." I nodded. "Thank you so much; this is..." I stopped and laughed. "I really don't have words for this." After a while, we sat at the bent palm tree and talked a bit. I was much more open here and I dare say I got into a much better mood. "Dude, did you see Xig -double-dammit, that's the third time I've done that- "-Vanitas chuckled at my mock frustration-" Braig's face when he realized he got the last cup of espresso yesterday?" I said. "I honestly thought you were going to kill him." Vanitas said. "If I hadn't wanted regular coffee, I might've tried to." I laughed. "Oh, triple dammit, I left all my electronics in my room." I said. "Yeah, me too." Vanitas said. I suddenly got hit with a stroke of devious imagination. "Vanitas, you don't mind water?" I said, slyly. "No, why do you ask?" I grinned mischievously. "Whatever you're thinking of, don't even-!" I tackled Vanitas into the ocean. We resurfaced a few seconds later. "B!tch!" Vanitas spurted out saltwater. I laughed heartily. "Oh, two can play at this!" Vanitas splashed some water in my face. "Hey, you know why the sun sets red?" I said. "Huh?" Vanitas looked at me. "You see, light is made of different colors, and of all those colors, red travels the farthest." I grinned. "Guess we really do travel here, there and everywhere, Red." Vanitas said. I blushed and elbowed him lightly in the ribs. Vanitas laughed. "So, what's your world like?" We sat and talked and laughed for hours. The sun was just a fading shimmer on the horizon as we watched shooting stars. "I don't wanna go back just yet. Do you?" Vanitas said. "Nah." I said. "You know, we could never go back." I said. "Lexa." Vanitas scolded. "Just throwing out an idea. It is a possibility; Xehanort would never expect it." I said plainly. "..." Vanitas remained silent. "But I know you won't." I sighed. "Lexa, I want you to know that...." Vanitas stood up. "WHAT DO YOU CARE?! YOU DON'T GIVE A FLYING LEAP ABOUT ME OR ANY OF US! YOU DON'T GIVE TWO RED CENTS ABOUT ANYONE BUT YOURSELF!" I stood up, face turning red and hot. I started making him back up. "Lexa, stop!" Xoncron said. "NO! THIS IS BETWEEN ME AND HIM! IF YOU HADN'T LIED TO ME AND MADE ME THINK THAT EVERYONE WAS DEAD, I COULD HAVE ENDED THIS BETTER, YOU SON OF A-" I stopped abruptly. My rage had reached its peak. I flew up my hand and backhanded Vanitas. To say it hurt is the least of it. I had forgotten about the metallic parts of his helmet and my hand stung. He turned his head back to me, eyes blazing fury. He snatched my right hand, still in the air. "That was uncalled for!" "LIKE HELL, IT WAS UNCALLED FOR!" I yelled back. "You really don't know when to quit, do you? "I. HATE. YOU." I roared at Vanitas. "REALLY?! BECAUSE I THINK OTHERWISE!" Vanitas yelled back. "What?" I said, shocked. "Your dark-side seemed to think differently! EXPLAIN THAT!" I stared for a minute, then turned away. "Look at me!" He grabbed the side of my face and pulled it closer to him, making it impossible to do anything else. "You're giving me answers. Now, start talking." He said. "I..." I tried to move back. "Now." He demanded. "I...can't tell you." I said. "Why?!" He growled. "I just can't." I said. "Can't or won't?" "Both." I said. "I'm tired of all these half-answers; you owe me, Lexa. Talk." I swear Vanitas's eyes do have hypnotizing powers. I started talking. "I do...like you....a lot." Vanitas glared. "I....was told by a very reliable source...you and I are....have....Don't judge me, it's not my choice!" I said. "What?" He said. "You and I....are connected. More tightly than most." "Really?" He tightened his grip on my wrist. "Ow." I said. "That's why you're so obsessed. Hate to break the truth to you, but your heart's been stolen by one who has none." His eyes were cold and hard. "Lies." I said. "LIES?!" "Lies told by Xehanort to you. Lies meant to keep you under his control. Listen to me. Xehanort is using you, just as he used Terra, the first Organization-" "How dare you." He moved his hand from my face to my other wrist. "Xehanort has done everything for me to-" "To be his puppet." I said, unafraid. "I'm no one's puppet." He said. "Yes, you are." I said. "Listen to someone besides yourself and Xehanort! Please!" He shoved me into Xoncron. "Pathetic. I've no time for sentiment. Take it to someone who cares." He opened a dark corridor. I ran forward and grabbed his arm. "Please, don't go." I said. He looked back at me. "You know, you're rather sexy when you're pissed. Maybe it's your eyes. Kind of reminds me of myself. They have a habit of showing what's inside, if you catch my drift." He tapped beside his right eye and winked. "Vanitas?" "Yeah?" "Love you." "Rest. You need it." "Doesn't change that I lo-""Don't you dare say that word." "Coffee." I said in a monotone. "Coffee?" he said, bemused. "Anything highly sugary and full of caffeine." I answered. "Wheresakitchen?" My words started to press together. Vanitas chuckled. "C'mon." I had to ask after breakfast where the kitchen was again, because I sleepwalked to it the first time. After 3 cups of coffee, I'd woken up for the most part. "Awake?" Vanitas asked. "Almost." I said. I went for another cup. "You're such a crack addict." Vanitas shook his head. "I don't get coffee often at home." I replied. "I think there may be good reason for that." Vanitas said. "Are you implying something?" I asked. "I implied nothing." Vanitas said, grinning. "What are you so happy for?" I asked. "It's going to be hilarious when you crash." "Considering my caffeine intake, that's gonna be a while." I said. "Lexa." I turned around. There stood Vanitas, holding a bouquet of red roses. "Are those for me?" I asked, curious. "Who else?" He said, smoothly and placed the bundle in my hands. The garden we were standing in was so beautiful. "You like this place?" He asked. I nodded, admiring the scenery. He wrapped an arm around my waist. "What are you-" Vanitas pressed his lips to mine. My face was glowing red. He pulled back and laughed. "Why is it you always get so red, Ginger?" I rolled my eyes."Catch me if you can!" He laughed again and raced to the gate. "Wait!" I ran after him. No matter how fast I went, he was always just out of my reach. The garden faded out into dark, dead forest. Suddenly, Vanitas disappeared. "Vanitas?" I called out. I turned around. I couldn't escape the gaze of the personification of my fears: the Slender Man. I quickly turned and ran. "VANITAS, WHERE ARE YOU?" I screamed. Suddenly he was in front of me. "NOOOOOOOOOOO!" "LEXA! LEXA! LEXA, WAKE UP!" I quickly opened my eyes. Vanitas was standing over me, shaking my shoulders furiously. My body was shaking so much from fear and the cold sweat. "Are you okay?!" Vanitas said. I shook my head rapidly. Tears unwillingly flowed down in a stream. "Was it a bad dream?" He asked. "A night terror." I managed out. "Wanna talk about it?" He said, uneasily. I shook my head again. I instinctively leaned into Vanitas's chest and cried and cried. I couldn't believe I was breaking down like this, but it was so..."I know, I know." It was at this point I realized I was babbling out loud. I stopped and just let myself calm down. I was still shaking a bit, but I had stopped crying. "I came down here because I heard someone screaming my name at the top of their lungs." Vanitas said. "Oh?" I said. "I ran in and you were thrashing like mad and shrieking like someone was trying to kill you. That bad of a dream?" I nodded. We sat in silence for a while, not moving. "I think you can guess by now what my feelings are." I said. "Let you keep your feelings to yourself." He said. "Huh?" I said and looked up. "Whatever your feelings are, you can't change them on a whim, am I right?" Vanitas said. "Yeah...?" I said. "Then I'm not going to judge you." He said. "Vanitas, got to promise me something." I said and grabbed his hands. "What?" He asked. "Promise you'll never return to the dark. Promise you'll never go back to Xehanort, no matter what." I said. "I swear." Vanitas said. "I mean it, I'm never going back. I'll always be right beside you. Consider me your slave." He grinned, trying to cheer me up. "Really, now?" I said. "Yep." He answered. "Say you love me." "Ah, why'd you say the L-word?!" He clutched his ears, playfully. "Say it!" I demanded, a small smile on my face." "Never." He said. "Say it, or I'll make you dye your hair Marluxia-pink!" I said. "You truly are a cruel woman." Vanitas surrendered. "Alright: I l-lo-lov- do I really have to do this?" Vanitas said. "Say it or say good-bye to hot, sexy hair." I threatened. "Alright, I love you. There." I giggled. "Wasn't that hard, was it?" I said. "Now that I think of it..."Vanitas said. "Keep her safe and..." I sat back against the ground and watched the sky. I opened my eyes. Xero looked back at me. "Xero, how did you-" "I didn't. Your heart has had them all this time." She said. I felt a tear run down my face. I touched the Wayfinder. "Promise." I said. "Okay." I started walking quickly back to the house. "Hey, slow down, where's the fire!?" Xero said. I busted into the house, slamming the door opened. "Yeah, just to let you know, the old-non-depressive-Lexa is back. Which reminds me-" I ran up to Sephirix and punched him in the nose. "That's a parting gift from Vanitas, deal with it." I said. "Let's get down to business. We've got a big problem, yes?" I looked over at Xero. "Huge. Luckily, that problem has been delayed via the force of the explosion Vanitas created." I nodded. "Alright, Xero, I agree with you: we've tried everything else, and that's a guarantee, but let's use that as a last resort. Xoncron, you're the mad scientist, any ideas?" "What?" I replied to their silence. "What?! Do I look like a mirror? No? Then, stop staring!" They continued to give me this look: 0_0. "For the love of God, let's NOT waste the time we've been given!" I said. "Well, that was a radical change." Xoncron finally spoke up. I sighed. "Look, we'll talk about my emotional issues after this over. Until then, let's keep to business." I said. "Xero's right about a plan: we need one. Xoncron, you're training with me, Vanitas-style. Rixec, go make sure everyone is prepared in case we do lose. Sephirix-" I looked over at him-"I have no idea what to do with you. Xero, go smooth things over with the Organization. Convince them, 'kay?" I said. Xero nodded and left. "More bricks!" I yelled out. "Lexa, I think that's too much." "Xoncron, I was half-exhausted and I did more than this." I said as I did another push-up. Xoncron sighed, but added more bricks to the board on my back. "God, Vanitas trains hardcore." Xoncron shook his head. "Yep." I said shortly and pushed up again. "So glad it's night." I said. "Hmm?" Xoncron said. "Gets me in the mood." I answered. "More." Xoncron shook his head. "Look, I have to be as stronger or stronger than he is. This ain't gonna cut it." I said. "Lexa, you're crazy." Xoncron said but put on more. When I reached my limit, I flipped the board off my back, sweat pouring down. "And that's why I don't wear my coat during warm-ups." I said. "That was a warm-up?!" Xoncron said. I grinned. "Vanitas wasn't one to go easy. Neither will I." I said. "Your turn." "Are you serious?!" Xoncron said. I nodded. "Fine." He said. Xoncron did really well for his first "hardcore" workout. Better than I did. "Reached your limit?" I asked. He nodded, straining too much to talk. I kicked the bricks off. Xoncron rolled on his back, panting. "Good job. We'll try again in an hour or two." Xoncron groaned. "That's what I said." I replied. I had planned on training Xoncron more, but I ended training myself more. When Xero returned, she helped me to push myself further. She got a massive kick out of it. As I pushed myself harder and harder, I had one thought on my mind. He is going to pay. Dearly. Edited March 13, 2013 by Keyblade Master LexaIIIV
Keyblade Master Xoncron 499 Posted February 27, 2013 Norcnox The blast from the explosion that killed Vanitas had been more powerful than I realized, and it had interfered with my machine. It was a miscalculation on my part, but it didn’t matter. The way back would still be open over the Keyblade Graveyard for at least another hour. Plenty of time for me to destroy our universe, the root universe, and reshape it in my image. Suddenly I began to feel a presence that I was all too familiar with. Xoncron and his so called friends were on their way. It didn’t matter though. My machine was almost ready to do what it was meant to once again. “Showtime,” I said as I smiled with wicked glee. Xoncron Me, Lexa, Xero, Rixec, and Sephirix were almost to the Keyblade Graveyard after completing everything Lexa had told us to do. I knew that this was the final battle with my dark side. He had gone too far too many times since he escaped from my heart, which I still don’t know how he did. It was high time we ended this. As we touched down on a cliff in the Keyblade Graveyard we saw Norcnox smiling a sick twisted smile as he stood in front of a machine that was aimed at a strange portal in the sky. "Welcome everyone," He said. "You're just in time to witness my greatest victory." "It's over Norcnox. We aren't going to to let you get away with this." I said. "You don't have any say in the matter," He said cooly. "In a matter of seconds my machine shall send a beam into the way home, and digitize our universe thus destroying everything and allowing me to reshape it in my own image." "You're insane!" Rixec shouted. "That portal is the way home?" Lexa said. "You know destroying one universe isn't exactlly destroying everything," Sephirix said. "I see you fail to understand Sephirix," Norcnox said with an amused look on his face. "Our universe is the root universe; so anything that happens to our universe..." "Will affect every universe that has spawned from it," I finished . I could feel my rage at Norcnox rising. "Bingo, someone give the man a cigar," Norcnox said in a mocking tone. "You are insane!" Lexa shouted, "and you're going to pay for what you did to Vanitas." "Not likely," Norcnox said, "No if you don't mind Xoncron and I have some unfinished business." Suddenly, darkness began swirling around Norcnox and I. "Xoncron!" I heard someone shout. I'm not sure who. "I'll be fine! Take care of the machine!" I shouted back. The last thing that I saw before my feild of vision was completely shrouded by darkness was beam of light coming forth from Norcnox's machine and heading for the way home. When I could see again Norcnox and I were standing face to face on the ground below the cliff where his machine was. "It's time you and I settled things once and for all," Norcnox said menaceingly. "After all there can be only one." "You won't get away with this Norcnox," I said makeing no attempt to hide the hate in my voice. "I'll stop you and my friends will stop your machine." "Don't make me laugh," he replied, "They'll never be able to get past the copy of myself that is gaurding the machine. It is about 95% as powerful as I am. Besides you don't have any friends, because you only care about yourself." "THAT'S A LIE!" I shouted as I summoned Way to Dawn and swung it at him. However, Norcnox jumped about ten feet away before the blow could make contact. "You're such a good liar that you've even fooled yourself into think you actually care about these people," he said shaking his head, "But enough talk, let's end this. Now gaze upon my true form!" Norcnox bent over as he suddenly began to transform. I stared in shock as he transformed into what looked like a cross between Ansem SoD's world of chaos and Bizarro Sephiroth with a mutlitude of tendrils and mouths filled with razor sharp teeth and six bat like wings. Norcnox was huge, about the size of the Empire State building. "How..." I said in shock. "This is what happens when you bottle up most of your negative emotions for years and years," Norcnox said in what sounded like a combination of voices. Yet not one of his mouths moved. He was speaking telepathically. "Now you shall suffer the wrath that you have been holding back all these years." "I don't think so!" I said as my shock faded away and the haterd I felt returned. I took my keyblade in both hands and let loose a battle cry as I charged my dark self. 1 Lexa Infinite reacted to this
Lexa Infinite 141 Posted February 27, 2013 (edited) Lexa We charged forward, yelling at the top of our lungs. I started to head toward the machine when something powerful caught me by the side and threw me back to the ground, knocking the wind out of me. I tried to see through the dust cloud it had made to see who had me pinned down, regaining air. The dust cleared and I stared up in horror. "Vanitas..." He would have looked normal if not for the gaping, charred.... He pointed a rusted version of Void Gear at my neck. He looked like he was concentrating hard. "Your mind is still your own, isn't it?" Vanitas's eyes hardened, furthering my horror. "I'm sorry." I said, voice cracking. "LEXA!" I heard Xero yell. "STAY BACK!" I called back. "HELL, NO!" Xero warped down to me and threw Vanitas off. "Look, the only way to free him is to..."Xero trailed off. "I'm sorry, Lexa." Xero said and helped me up. "If nothing can be done...." I felt something in my throat. "Then, I'll set you free, Vanitas." He nodded slightly. I pushed Xero out of the way as Vanitas set up a barrier. "LEXA?!" She said, confused. "Stay with Rixec, he's going to have the hardest time!" I said. We fought, neither of us willing to take the advantage over the other. We met, our faces kept apart by our Keyblades, and yet so close... A sudden surge of sound knocked me onto my knees. I covered my ears and yelled, trying to drown it out. He wears his heartsafety pinned to his backpackHis backpack is all that he knows WHERE WAS IT COMING FROM?! The only person who I knew could do this was locked in battle with the copy of Dark-Xoncron along with Rixec and Sephirix. But then- No. This wasn't a normal attack. This was an attack on my mind, much like the one at the fake Hollow Bastion; all the while HE was fighting them-HOW- Shot down by strangerswhose glances can cripplethe heart and devour the soulAll alone he turns to stonewhile holding his breath half to deathTerrified of whats insideto save his life he crawlslike a worm from a birdCrawls like a worm from a bird I felt Vanitas grab me by the neck as I continued to hold my head in my hands, attempting to regain sanity. Out of his mind awaypushes him whisperingmust have been out of his mindmid-day delusions of pushing this out of his headmaybe out of his mindAll alone he turns to stonewhile holding his breath half to deathTerrified of whats insideto save his life hecrawls like a worm from a birdcrawls like a worm from a bird I started loose myself as the beat continued. I returned back to reality. Vanitas tightened his grip, reluctantly. I started to see stars and darkness. I struggled against him, trying to break free. Suddenly, he let go. "NO!" He yelled and grabbed his head. The mental attack all but vanished. "I-AM-NOT-" Vanitas hit the ground, brought down by some force unknown. "YOUR-SLAVE!" "XERO!" I yelled as the barrier collapsed. She turned back for a moment. "BUSY, WHAT?!" She yelled back, holding off the copy. "YOU'RE GOOD WITH MINDS, HELP!" Xero landed in a good kick and jumped away from the copy. She ran over and placed both of her hands on Vanitas's temples as he continued to struggle against the forces that bound him. "Lexa, place your hand over mine." She commanded. I did as she said and the desert disappeared. "Where-" "Vanitas's mind or heart, I don't know which. We need to hurry." She said and lead me forward, grabbing my hand. I couldn't see through the intense darkness that lay here, but apparently she could. I saw Vanitas's Station of Awakening. There he stood, black chains on his wrists, fighting Dark-Xoncron's copy. I jumped down next to him. "Lexa?!" He said. "Hey!" Xero said to me. "I know we talked about that plan earlier concerning me and you, but I've changed my mind." "Huh?!" I quickly did a Reflect spell as the copy charged forward. "I think you two should do it. I won't be able to handle it. Vanitas already has some experience on the subject." Xero said. "O-ooh." I said "What is she talking about?" Vanitas said. "Vanitas....we need to form the X-Blade." I said. "...you are sure?" Vanitas said, cautious. "Positive." I said. "Alright." Vanitas said. He offered out his hand. I quickly took into mine and a bright light erupted between the two of us. Xero I got out of Vanitas's mind as fast I could and rolled out of the way. A pillar of light erupted from the the spot where Lexa and Vanitas were. I grinned. "This is gonna get good...." I saw the light fade. Standing where it was-Lexa. And yet... I'm going out on limb here and saying that looks are based upon the host body. Lexa brought Vanitas's into her body and thus she looked like herself...until she opened her eyes. They were golden, burning in power. An aura of light and darkness swirled around her as she brought up her hands and summoned the X-Blade. She floated a good two feet off the ground, up held by the power of Kingdom Hearts. All the fighting had stopped to see this spectacle. "I am neither Lexa nor Vanitas. I am the bond that lies between the two. The willing commitment to make the X-Blade. The knowing cooperation and equality of Light and Darkness. I am......" She said, bringing the blade down, raising fire across its path. "Undefined." Edited March 22, 2013 by Keyblade Master LexaIIIV
Keyblade Master Rixec 44 Posted February 28, 2013 Rixec “Is that all you pitiable Keyblade Masters are capable of?” the copy of Dark Xoncron laughed as he turned his head to avoid a blast of fire. I pointed my Keyblade at him and shouted, “Thundaga!” A blast of lightning fell from the sky but the copy just jumped away from it, but he wasn’t safe just yet. Sephirix was under him now and he slashed upwards with his Keyblade. The copy parried it and a ball of Darkness appeared in his hand. He fired it at Sephirix but he threw his hand in front of his chest and caught the dark attack. The impact, though, sent him skidding back, making two long dents in the earth. “I almost feel sorry for you,” the copy sneered, “that you even think you have a chance of beating me.” “You’re not the first villain to think that,” Sephirix grunted as he took a fighting position. “And you won’t be the last.” Sephirix snapped his fingers and a horde of Heartless appeared by his side. I closed my eyes and focused, drawing on the power of the light. Ever since we had been separated we had seemed to separate the Light and darkness that was growing inside me before Sephirix was created. The Heartless leapt at the copy but he batted them all aside, evaporating into a dark mist as he slaughtered every single one. But that gave me enough time to prepare my magic. Seven spears of light appeared above my head and I roared as I threw them all at the copy. The copy saw the attack coming and ran right at them. As the first spear closed in he bent backwards as he slid under it and then proceeded to flip in between the second and third spears. He landed on the ground and shifted his head as the fourth spear whizzed by. Darkness stated to flow in his hands and he caught the fifth and sixth spears which soon disintegrated from his darkness. His timing was a bit off though because as he tried to jump out of the way of the seventh spear he was scratched on the back of his hand. The copy threw his Keyblade as me and I just barely brought my two up in front of me to block it. The impact sent me flying into a rocky wall though; I hit it with a thud and fell facedown, a few small rocks falling on me. Dang it; even when he was slightly less powerful than the original we still couldn’t take him. I felt the tip of a Keyblade against the back of my neck and was able to make my eyes look up to see the copy above me, grinning. “Keyblade Master Rixec,” he sneered. “The man who dies and dies again. Now die one last time and know you won’t be coming back.” “Transcendence!” Sephirix shouted. Three purplish-black spheres appeared from him and shot out in all directions. The gravity for the copy died out and he was lifted up and thrown quite a good distance from us. I acted before he could recover. “Meteor!” I shouted and a large meteor came crashing down on the copy, sending a great deal of fire in all directions. We could feel the intense heat and waited as the dust cleared. “Tornado!” a voice shouted as Sephirix and I felt us lifted up into the air and spun around. We hit the ground with a crash and gasped in pain. I looked to see the copy walking toward us, almost perfectly fine, but crossed. Oh, we were so dead. “Dark Firaga,” Sephirix called out weakly and shot a dark fire ball at the copy. The copy swung his Keyblade and the attack died like it was nothing. “Ice Barrage,” I whispered and ice rose from the ground where the copy was but then it shattered into a thousand pieces, the copy brushing a few crystals off his shoulders as he continued toward us. “Your attacks are meaningless,” the copy said, crossed. “Compared with the wrath of Lexa, and even the weakling Xoncron, you two are the most pathetic Keyblade Masters ever.” “Blackout!” Sephirix roared. “Bind!” I called out. The copy suddenly found himself locked in place and turned his head in all directions, blind from the blackout. “If you think you can stop me for long then you’re bigger fools than I thought.” Sephirix and I whispered the same command and hoped it would work. My Bind weakened first and the copy took a step toward us as his blindness started to vanish. “You two are-” he started to stay before the explosion at his feet threw him into the air and it happened again and again and so on. Sephirix and I had laid Seeker Mines at his feet while he couldn’t see or move. His hastiness got him caught up in our trap. But even those attacks did little to him, except make him angrier. The copy roared and Sephirix and I found ourselves flung back and skidded across the ground. Damn it! There had to be something we could do to beat this guy! But what? What? What! Sephirix Not the best fight I’ve ever had. Xoncron’s evil dark-soul-half thing’s copy was giving us a beating. We were doing a bit farer earlier when the witch Xero joined us but then she took off. I am so gonna give her a beating if we all live through this. “Sephirix,” Rixec mumbled. “What is it mate?” I asked. “We’re not gonna be able to win this separately,” he went on. “We need to do something bold to win.” “What do you got in mind?” I asked. He told me the plan and I couldn’t help but grin. “Kamikaze,” I mumbled. “If we’re off by a microsecond we’re dead too.” “We’re about to die anyway,” Rixec grunted as he stood up. “At least we can take him with us.” “Agreed,” I said as I joined him. “Have you two decided to give yourselves to oblivion?” the copy asked. I rushed forward and yelled, “Shadowbreaker!” I slashed at him with a blade of darkness which he shrugged off and then a blade of light which made him flinch at the very least. The copy tried to slash me but I used Counter Aura and sent him flying back but he recovered almost instantly and rushed me. I glanced back and saw a great amount of light surrounding Rixec. I began the process for summoning Heartless but took in their Darkness before they could appear. This was gonna be rough. “I’ve had enough of you two!” the copy shouted as a dark energy formed at the end of his Keyblade. “Light!” Rixec shouted. “Darkness!” I added. A circle of the two joined together, surrounding all three of us. The copy stopped in his tracks and looked around frantically. “What the hell do you two think you’re doing?!” “Warp!” we both cried and all three of us were teleported off this world. We found ourselves in the vacuum of the Lanes Between and summoned our protective gear so we could breathe. We were also near the gravitational pull of a sun. “You ^&%#@#% insane b@stards!” the copy shouted. Rixec and I summoned our elements and dove right into the copy, pushing him toward the sun. He was shouting and attacking us all the way, but we had to succeed! Even if we had to die in the process.
Lexa Infinite 141 Posted February 28, 2013 ??? It was so...amazing the amount of knowledge and power that pounded, pounded, pounded in our joined hearts. We felt so complete. We felt the world at our fingertips, the knowledge of things that were, and now, and that could have been were flowing in my head. The music of the universe moved and pounded and flowed along with the beating of the hearts. Was this inspiration that most musicians came across when they wrote songs? I opened my eyes to see the world. I grinned as I saw my friends stop fighting and gaze at us. An aura of light and darkness swirled around us as we brought up our hands and summoned the X-Blade. We floated a good two feet off the ground, up held by the power of the pounding. I am neither Lexa nor Vanitas. I am the bond that lies between the two. The willing commitment to make the X-Blade. The knowing cooperation and equality of Light and Darkness. I am......" I said, bringing the blade down, raising fire across its path. "Undefined." I grinned wider as the bass pounded underneath my feet. "Playtime's over. The real show begins now." We said, ready to unleash unholy hell.
Keyblade Master Xoncron 499 Posted March 1, 2013 Xoncron The battle was not going well for me. I had summoned my keyblade armor, but I was still barely holding my own against Norcnox in his true form. I ran across one tendril and leapt across others dealing as much damage as I could to him, but it didn't seem to be doing much.I launched a triple firaga attack at him, and the dark blue flames made direct contact with the interior of one of his mouths. However, Norcnox didn't even seem to notice. "Accept it! I am the one who guides you," He said as his hand swatted me out of the air as I was leaping to another tendril, "Forever!" I skidded across the ground as I landed on my feet. When I came to a stop I removed my helmet and looked up at him as I panted heavily. "I won't give up!" I said, "Not so long as I have my friends for they are my power!" "Your so called friends are nothing! Niether they nor your light can stop me!" Norcnox said with a laugh as a beam of dark energy began to build up in his main mouth, "Now perish with them!" Norcnox then let loose a powerful beam of dark energy from his main mouth that head straight towards me. I felt my anger and hate for him well up, but then I thought about what he said. It was then that I truely realized all the horrible things that would befall my friends and everyone if I failed, and that there was a reason that I was a keyblade weilder of twilight. With all that in mind I leapt towards the dark energy beam, that was nearly upon me, as I gave a mighty battle cry as I prepared for one final attack. Norcnox I watched as Xoncron jumped into my attack with a battle cry and disappear in it. Victory was finally mine. I would no longer have to deal with that pathetic fool. Then I noticed something strange. Xoncron was actually flying through the beam! No! That's impossible! I thought. Xoncron I flew right through the beam and sliced off Norcnox's lower jaw. Then I hovered in the air, held aloft by the dark light wings that were now on my back, as he cried out in pain. "There's one thing you forgot Norcnox," I shouted as I began to attack once more, " Both light and darkness grant me the wisdom I need!" I began attacking Norcnox with powerful slashes with such great speed that he couldn't defend himself as he kept turning his head to try and see where I was I going to attack from next. "Thus, I can turn darkness into hallowed light!" I cried as I finally rose up over him. "And that's why it's time for you to go back to where you belong!" A cross of light appeared behind me, and by pointing Way to Dawn at Norcnox it allowed me to fire a beam of light ten times more powerful then the dark beam used early. The beam hit its target, and Norcnox cried out in pain as he seemed to vanish in the beam of light. When the light faded I touched back down on the ground, my wings disappearing, and saw Norcnox, once again looking like me, lying on the ground not to far away. I approached him and saw that it looked like he was fadeing away, but I knew he was actually returning to where he belonged. We both looked towards the cliff where his machine was as an explosion eminatted from it. We saw the light from his machine disappear along with the way home. "Is there any way to reopen the way?" I said. "It hasn't closed you fool. It has merely moved. It never stays in one world for long," Norcnox said weakly with a laugh. "To think I came so close to succeeding." "The way is problem for another day then," I said, "But how did you escape my heart?" "To be honest I'm not sure myself," He replied, "What I do know is that what ever force helped me escape is far more powerful and dangerous than I ever was, and when you and your friends come upon it I think you'll wish my plan had succede!" "Again a problem for another day," I said. "Do me a favor will you," Norcnox said with a weak sinister smile, "Go ahead and finish this." I nodded as I raised my keyblade and brought it down to comply as the keyblades that had been missing from the Keyblade Graveyard began to return. Then I felt the darkness that had long been absent from my heart return. 1 Lexa Infinite reacted to this
Lexa Infinite 141 Posted March 1, 2013 (edited) ??? I grinned as Xoncron reappeared. It would seem that my power was not needed. So much for Xero's mathematics. I settled down on the ground. I was still radiating light and darkness when I was in front of him. "Well done." We said. "I take it you are Lexa and Xero?" He asked. We laughed in good spirits. "Nay." We said. "Xero has gone off to help clear the remains of Dark-Xoncron's plans. No, I'm Lexa and Vanitas." "Vanitas?!" He said, surprised. "Yep, that copy made the horrid mistake of resurrecting Vanitas, forgetting the fact that the two could bond together to form this." I pulled up the X-Blade. "Is that-?!" We nodded. "Whoa." He said. "We were actually planning on throwing this to you if the battle got too..difficult. We knew it would have to be you to finally defeat the your dark. As we have said, well done. Well done, indeed. "We said. "Now, to take care of somethings...." I walked out to the center of the desert and raised the X-Blade. "Rest fitfully, warriors of the Keyblade War. You're time is done. Rest." A light spread across the land. The darkness that had so haunted this land shrinked away. "What was that?" Xoncron said. "To make sure no one uses those that have fallen here are ever used for dark purposes again." We said. "Now, to the last...." I walked back to the remains of the machine. I pointed the X-Blade at its center. "This device has caused the world much pain. So that none shall use this invention of the dark..." The wreckage disappeared from sight. "Any plans or blueprints he may have made for this device have disappear as well." I said. "It is done." "Lexa, you have to let go now." Lexa I opened my eyes. "What?" I said and looked at Vanitas. "It's time to let go." He said with a sad smile. "But, then-" Vanitas put a finger on my mouth. "I'll find a way back. I promise." He moved his hand down to my Wayfinder. "I'm glad this looks so well on you." He said. "You did good." I said. In almost synchronized movement, we embraced each other, holding on like it would be the last time. For all we knew, it would be. "I love you." I said. "I love you much more." Vanitas said. He pushed me back. "Now, no more tears over me. If there's anyway back, I'll find it." He said and grinned, cheering me up a bit. "You take care of yourself. Oh, and help Xoncron, will you? I would, but I won't be around, 'kay?" Vanitas said. I nodded. "Good. Did you get the other stuff in that envelope?" I blushed. "Um...not yet." I said. Vanitas shook his head and sighed. "At least you have that. I'm going to use that as my star, okay? Keep it on and I'll find you." He said. "I got that." I said. Vanitas laughed. "Okay. I guess this is...Goodbye." I said. "No way. I'm horrible at goodbyes. More like, see you soon." Vanitas said. "Okay, then, nit-picky!" I laughed. Vanitas's eyes lit up. "You just keep that attitude, okay?" I nodded. "And you, yours." I said. We shared one last, long look. I let go. I started feel like I was falling. I shot up. I looked around and saw Xoncron above me. "You know, we REALLY have to stop meeting like this." I said. He laughed and helped me up. "So, what happened to Vanitas?" He asked. "I don't know." I answered honestly. "He promised he would find a way back though." "Seems to be the type that would." Xoncron said. "Yeah. "I agreed. "I'm sorry you had to take him out alone." Xoncron waved it off. "It's okay. You all just being here really helped the most." "Speaking of all of us, where's the rest of our party?" I said. Suddenly, a dark corridor opened. Out walked Xero, Sephirix and Rixec. The three of them were literally smoking and steaming. "These IDIOTS had the BRILLIANT idea of pushing that OTHER idiot into the sun. Geniuses, aren't they?" Xero said, highly annoyed. I laughed. "Imma let you boys talk amongst yourselves; I need a word with Lexa here." She pulled me over to the side. "So...how'd it go?" She asked. "Turns out we didn't need it." I said. "Ahh." She sighed. "There was the one variable I couldn't get." "The strength of the heart?" I asked. "Right, once again." She said. "Well, that takes care of that. Now, we get a month off!" She grinned. "What?!" I said. "Oh, I didn't say, did I? Well, since a good percent of the World that Never Was is a smoldering ruin, and all of us are exhausted after this free-for-all, we agreed that a 30-day cease-and-desist between all parties involved, including yours." She said. "So, no fighting?" I said. "Nope. I do have one bit of advice to ask you, though..." She said. "What?" I said. "Look, you would not BELIEVE the expenses that go into keeping up a castle...and since Xehanort struck up a deal with me and not him, he's letting me keep C.O.....I need advice on how to make money. But not something boring!" She said. I thought for a moment. "....You know, I have an idea. How about you turn the first two or three floors of C.O. into a nightclub. I think you'll like that." Xero's eyes got big. "Xero?" I said. "OMG, LEXA, I AM SOOOOOOO SORRY FOR EVER CALLING YOU AN IDIOT!" She squealed. "OMG, This is like, going to be so, like, EPIC!" She jumped up and down. I smiled. "Glad you're happy." I said. "Well, I don't know about you, but I'm ready to call it a day." Xero said and stretched her arms up. I nodded. The end of one journey....and the beginning to the next...... Xoncron The battle was not going well for me. Bravo, bravo, Xoncron. What a way to end your part of this story arc. Well done, indeed. Keyblade Master Rixec 44 Posted March 4, 2013 Rixec I sighed as the hot sun beat down on me as I lay in the sand. After the final battle with Xoncron’s evil half a one month truce was formed so we had that whole time to relax. The first place on the agenda was some time at the Destiny Isles. It was practically one of the safest worlds there was and had been almost entirely free of Darkness. “Hey Rixec!” Lexa called from the water. “Come on in!” I looked up and saw Lexa and Xoncron splashing about in the ocean and shrugged. “I’m fine for the moment; maybe later.” “Come on Rix! Make good use of the truce while you can!” Lexa cried. “Later,” I said as Xoncron hit Lexa with a big splash, making her angry. I lay my head back down and think about all we had been through since we had gotten sucked into this world. There were so many times where I almost died or really did – depending on the day. Hell, Sephirix and I had almost died once more when we pushed the copy of Xoncron’s dark half into the sun. I must admit, after all the hell he had given us seeing even a copy of him burning up as he cried out in anguish was appealing. If not for Xero the two of us would have burned up with him and we wouldn’t be here right now. I felt as if I owed her or something but then again she can be the enemy at times so I had better make sure she never uses me against my friends. Heck, Xero and I barely knew one another. Not like we had any time to get to know each other. Closest interaction with me she’s had is with Sephirix. I looked at him sitting on the tree branch above as he stared at Lexa through a pair of binoculars. I still wonder what it was that made him attracted to Lexa and why he didn’t give up. She was clearly into Vanitas though he was dead at the moment. She said he would find a way back but I wondered. Some characters had come back in the games, sure, but things seemed a bit different here. Who knows what could happen when the truce was over. I raised a hand up and summoned a ball of light and made it float above me for a bit. I had been called here as the Bringer of Light, but I didn’t do too much in the final battle with Xoncron’s dark half. So was my purpose still not done here? And if so, when would it happen? Between Xoncron and Lexa I felt like the random tagalong. The two of them had plenty to do with their dark halves but I didn’t really have one like them. Closest as Sephirix and he’s more friend than foe. Sephirix, the man made from me and Sephiroth. Who knows what he was fully capable of; where would he be when all this was over and we go home? Would he come with us or stay here? Sephirix Lexa looked magnificent in her crimson swimsuit. The way the light went about it made her look like a dancing flame that wouldn’t burn out. Of course, the only reason she could be so happy right now was because of that bit of hope she had gotten from Vanitas. Man, even when he’s dead I still have trouble competing with him. Maybe I should kidnap Lexa like he did and see where it gets me. “Not thinking anything illegal are you?” Rixec asked as he played with a ball of light. “Nothing that hasn’t happened to someone already,” I answered as I chuckled as Lexa slipped and landed on her butt. “You don’t really have a chance with her right now,” Rixec said as he flicked the ball of light at the laughing Xoncron and he fell face forward into the water, causing Lexa to start laughing at him. “Why is it whenever someone dies they have to do it awesomely?” I questioned. “Can’t someone go pathetically?” “I’d like to avoid that,” Rixec answered. “Nearly died enough here. Hate to actually go out in a pathetic manner.” “Want to have some fun?” I smirked as I observed Lexa put Xoncron into a headlock. “Your idea of fun is sadistic and terrifying,” Rixec answered. “What do you have in mind?” Rixec Sephirix and I had finished preparations by the time Lexa and Xoncron came out of the water. “You really should have come in Rixec,” Lexa said as water dripped off her hair and on to me. “It’s not later yet,” I said as I stood up. “But how about some volleyball?” “Sounds fun!” Lexa chirped. “Really?” Xoncron asked as he drank his juice. “Come on Xon!” Lexa said as she took a sip herself. “We can win easily!” “On the contrary,” Sephirix smiled. “Rixec and I will cream you.” “Want to make a bet?” Lexa smirked. “Loser has to serve the winner for a week,” Sephirix said. “Deal,” Lexa said as she and Sephirix shook on it. “I’m gonna love making you dress as a chicken-butler.” “That’s interesting,” I said as I stretched. We were ready in a few minutes and me and Sephirix were ready for them. “Loser serves the winner across from them now,” I said. “First to get one point wins.” Everyone agreed as I served the ball and it went flying up As soon as it went over Lexa spiked it down hard but Sephirix dove under it and hit it up. I jumped intot he air and spiked it down but Lexa threw Xoncron under it and it bounced off his head. She hit it over but I was prepared and hit it back. Lexa and I hit the ball back and forth repeatedly, Sephirix diving for the ball when Lexa hit it and Lexa throwing Xoncron under whenever I spiked it. “Why do you keep throwing me?!” Xoncron yelled. “Need to win,” Lexa huffed as she hit the ball over. “I’m gonna put Sephirix in a tutu.” “I don’t know what scares me more,” I said as I hit the ball back. “What you just said, or that I think we’d still look damn good in it.” “What makes you think the latter?” Xoncron asked. “I look good in everything and seeing as how Sephirix looks like me except for a few colors in eyes and hair that works the same for him,” I answered as Lexa spiked the ball. Sephiris dove and hit it up but he didn’t have enough strength. I yelled as I dove and hit it up, barely over the net. Lexa jumped up with a smirk on her face. “It’s over!” she roared as she swung her foot at the ball but then her face became agitated and she missed, the ball hitting the ground. “Point!” Sephirix yelled as Lexa and Xoncron started holding their stomachs. “Bathroom!” Xoncron yelled as he ran off, Lexa joining after him. Sephirix helped me up and shook the sand off me. “We did it,” he said. “Just what was it you put in their drinks?” I asked. “You’re better off not knowing,” Sephirix answered. When Lexa and Xoncron returned they looked terrible. I wondered if it was from the bathroom trip or the lost. “A deal’s a deal,” Lexa pouted as Sephirix smiled at her. “Right then,” Sephirix said. “Lexa, I would like you to…” “Hold it,” I smirked as I held my hand up. I said ‘Loser serves the winner across from them now’ earlier. At the time, Lexa was across me and Xoncron was across Sephirix.” “So that means…,” Lexa said as a smile of relief came across her face. “Lexa serves me and Xoncron is for Sephirix,” I said. Sephirix looked at me with horror and said, “You little b@stard.” “You agreed when we started the game.” “I’ll get you for this someday,” he sighed as he walked off. “Oh, Xoncron, go put on a chicken mask and a tutu.” “Thanks,” Xoncron groaned at me as he walked off. “Thanks,” Lexa smiled at me. “No prob,” I said. “Good playing earlier.” “You too,” she said. “Funny how we had to go to the bathroom at the same time at the vital moment.” “Coincidence,” I shrugged. “I know nothing.” “Right,” she said. “So what do you want me to do?” “Well,” I said. “It’s later… want to play in the water?” Lexa grinned at me and ran toward the ocean and I ran after her. A month wasn’t very long, so we had to make the best of it. 1 Lexa Infinite reacted to this
Lexa Infinite 141 Posted March 4, 2013 (edited) Lexa I looked up at Xero as she continued to nap underneath an umbrella on the beach. "Hey...." I looked at Rixec. "You thinking what I'm thinking?" I said and looked back to Xero. He grinned. We crept silently beside the beach chair. Xero was wearing a two piece, black and violet bikini and sunglasses (underneath an umbrella? Really?). I looked back at the ocean. Xoncron was shaking his head, giving his disapproval. Me and Rixec carefully picked up the beach carefully and carried her out quickly. She had only started to stir when we tossed her into the ocean. "WHAT THE-?!" She screamed. "RUN!" I yelled. Me and Rixec took off. Xero summoned her Keyblade and came flying at us. "The Secret Place, quick!" I called out. We dove into the small gap in the rock wall. "YOU ARE GOING TO PAY!" She yelled. I quickly put up a barrier. "I didn't know you could do that." Rixec said. I shrugged. "I learned a few things here and there from watching others." I said. "CHEAT!" Xero yelled. "Bite me." I said back. "You are both DEAD when you are out." She said. "I thought we had a treaty, Xero." I grinned. "....I hate every single one of you." She said and walked off. "Let's explore a bit." I said. I walked in front of Rixec and looked around. "Wow. Does this bring back memories." I went and touched the wooden, handle-less door at the end of the cave. "Amazing, isn't it?" Rixec said. "Yeah. Thanks for the save earlier." I said and turned around to face him. "It seems that idiot still has some infatuation with me." I sighed. "So...not to be nosy or anything, but-" "What am I going to do now that Vanitas is gone?" I said. I grabbed the Wayfinder necklace between two of my fingers. "He promised that he'd come back, as long as I'd wear this. So, I've decided to wait for him." I said. "What if he doesn't?" Rixec asked. "He will. Trust me, with Vanitas, if there's a will, there's a way." I said. We looked around a bit more and then left. Xero was sitting back on the beach, grinning widely. "Oh, no: what did you destroy this time?" I said. She shook her head and pointed behind her. There stood Xoncron, looking absolutely ridiculous. Being his best friend, I did my best to hold back the laughter. Rixec, on the other hand, was about to die of laughter. "Come on, there's still a whole other side of the island to see!" I said. "You coming?" I looked at Xero. She shook her head. "It's not everyday you see a chicken-butler." She said. "Xoncron?" I asked next. He shook his head, frustrated in his current position. "Sorry, man!" I said and me and Rixec took off. "Wonder where Sephirix took off to?" Rixec said when we got to the other side. "Knowing him? No good." I said. "Why do you say that?" I heard his voice right behind me. I jumped a bit. "Ah, don't do that!" I said. "Did I scare you?" He said. "No, it's just really creepy." I said. "I've already had one stalker; I don't need another!" I walked forward, putting some distance between me and him. "Oh? Who was the first one?" Sephirix asked, both him and Rixec keeping up. "Vanitas, obviousl-" A plank from the wooden bridge broke underneath me. I had barely fallen when Sephirix caught my right wrist and pulled me back up. "Thanks; that always got me in KHI." I said, shaking my head. "You're welcome. I do enjoy saving you, princess." He said. I narrowed my eyes. "You know, I have no regrets for doing this." I pushed Sephirix off the bridge into the water underneath it. "Hey!" He said, glaring up at me. "You know you were asking for it." I said. The sun started to set. "I sure hope there's a lot of shooting stars tonight. Come on, let's go check on Xero and Xon." I said. We made our way back. Xoncron had gotten out of those awful, prank clothes and had put back on his other clothes. Xero was just looking up at the sky, probably thinking about her business enterprise. "Hey, Xero." I said. "You up for a play-fight? Not weapons, just mind and music?" I said. "Always." She said and got up."This isn't going to mess with our treaty?" I asked. "Nah." She said, eyes bright. "Here's a way to make this even more challenging: only KH original music!" I said. Xero grinned. "Ready when you are!" We stood off, about 10 feet apart, ready to go. Rixec and the rest stood back really far. After a solid half an hour, playing ever song I could think of, getting nowhere, I decided to pull out some of the remixs I'd heard on Youtube. "Oh, no fair, using Darkness of the Unknown Remix!" Xero yelled as she started to slid back. I just turned up the volume. She, in response, decided to pull out the Rock remix of the 13th Struggle. Too tired to keep it up, me and Xero fell back at almost the exact same time. "Xero?" "Yeah?""That was awesome.""You're telling me." I got up, grinning widely. "Can't you two go a single day with out having some sort of fight?" Xoncron said. We both shook our heads. "Wouldn't be fun that way." Xero said. "You know, your definition of fun is very twisted." I said. Xero rolled her eyes. We sat back as the sun dipped under the sea. "If there's one thing we can agree on, it's that." Xero said and motioned at the starry sky. We sat as the sky darkened further. "Beautiful." I said. Suddenly, the sky burst with light from shooting stars. "WOW!" I said, standing up. "I've never seen that many!" I ran to the edge of the beach. I closed my eyes and wished. "That's a lot of wishes." I opened my eyes. "Yeah, it is, Xero." I looked up. "We all know what you're wishing for." She said. "Yeah. What about you?" I asked. "Oh, me?" Xero said, surprised. "Umm...I don't know." She narrowed her eyes as she tried to think of something. She closed her eyes, wishing something. "Something big?" I asked. "What? Oh, yeah. Can't tell, right?" She said. I nodded. We sat back down with the guys. "All that fighting was totally worth this." I said. Xoncron looked at me. "You sure about that?" I looked back. "Yeah. Just a moment of peace before we go back, totally worth it." I layed back and wished again, closing my eyes. Keyblade Master Xoncron 499 Posted March 5, 2013 I saw Sephirix with Rixec and walked up to them with a cup of coco in one hand while my other hand was hidden behind my back. "Hey Sephirix want some coco?" I asked. Sephirix took the cup of coco and eyed it supisciously. Then he handed it to Rixec. "Here Rixec you have it," He said. "Thanks!" Rixec exclaimed and downed the entire cup of coco. Then all three of us stood there in silence for a minute. "I guess the coco wasn't poisoned after all," Sephirix said, "Darn I should of had some." "That's okay I made a spare," I said revealing another cup of coco from behind my back. "Thanks," Sephirix said taking the spare coco. "Wait you thought the other coco was poisoned!" Rixec said. Sephirix ignored him and began drinking the spare coco. When he was done he smacked his lips and had an intriqued look on his face. "Well that's a peculiar aftertas..." Sephirix began to say when he suddenly passed out and started snoreing. "Yes my prank of revenge worked!" I exclaimed. "What did you do?" Rixec asked. "I put a sleeping potion in the coco," I said. "He'll be out for about a week, and best of all when he wakes up he won't remember this. He'll think he was awake the whole time." "I don't what's more surprising, that you put such a specific sleeping potion in Sephirix's coco, or that they make a sleeping potion that specific," Rixec said. "Must... beat... all... bronies... with... a rubber chicken," Sephirix mumbled in his sleep. "WHAT?!" Both me and Rixec said in unison. "Nothing," Sephirix mumbled in his sleep. "Well what's done is done," I said turning back to Rixec. "Want to hit the beach?" "Why not," Rixec said nonchalantly. So we went to the beach forgeting the passed out Sephirix. Lexa Infinite 141 Posted March 5, 2013 Lexa "Lexa." I woke up and sat up. "Ah, I fell asleep." I said to Xoncron, rubbing my eyes. "C'mon, it's time to go home." He said. "Home?" I asked. "The house in Radiant Garden." He replied. "Why there?" I asked sleepily. "Well, it was foreclosed, and no one was using it anyway, so Leon said we could have it." "Okay." I said and stood up, still very sleepy. "Come on, sleepyhead." Xoncron said and helped me stand up. I remember Rixec opening the door to the house. "God, she slept through the whole ride?" I heard Xero say behind me. A light turned on in the living room. I saw the couch and that is the last I remember of that night. The next morning, I woke up and looked around the room. Xoncron was fast asleep right beside the couch, snoring lightly. I peered over the other side of the couch. Rixec had passed out in a big chair in the left side of the room, Xero was asleep in my room, of all places, and Sephirix was asleep on a separate couch on the right side of the room. I silently moved over the top of the couch and entered the kitchen. "Let's see if anyone had the common sense to set up the fridge....." "Is there anything you can't do, goody-two-shoes?!" Xero said. "Can't draw, can't do a back-flip, and I can't do a math equation to save my life." I said and put the rest of the food on the table. "Alright, boys, and Xero, let's plan on what we have to do today!" I said, sitting down.
Keyblade Master Rixec 44 Posted March 5, 2013 Rixec I was p!ssed off. As Lexa, Xero, and Xoncron talked about what they should do my eyes fluttered over to the sleeping Sephirix. Seriously Xoncron – a sleeping potion? I’ll let go of the fact the two of us are connected and the fact that Sephirix was under was making me irritable, did he realize just how dangerous that was to a guy like Sephirix? It was tough keeping the news of Heartless attacking people randomly across the worlds – Heartless summoned by Sephirix. A sleeping potion always brings out more awareness in the user and to summon with powers like Sephirix that was never a good thing. But we were on vacation so I wasn’t about to ruin it here. Though I had to wake Sephirix up before the truce was broken and we find ourselves buried in sh!t! I had already prepped a potion to cure it but I didn’t know if it worked or not. Not too many sleeping victims around and if I messed up here God knows what Sephirix could do next. And because of our connection, who knows how that could affect me. I needed a guinea pig; and it was already in motion. I watched as Xoncron drank his water – mixed with the same sleeping potion. Still wonder how Sephirix could trust Xoncron that easily – he never did that! Well, maybe he would for Lexa but that’s another story entirely! God, I gotta wake him up soon before I go crazy. Xoncron fell face forward and banged his head on the table, snoozing. Lexa and Xero looked at me and asked simultaneously, “What did you do?” “He had it coming,” I scoffed. I took out the syringe and examined the pink liquid inside. “Don’t worry; if I did my calculations right he should be about to wake up.” “We could keep him asleep,” Xero said. “Maybe even put the two of you under while we’re at it.” “Yeah, and a week later we’ll find our faces scribbled on,” Lexa said. “I make no promises,” Xero hummed. I injected the syringe into Xoncron’s neck and waited a few moments. Nothing happened. I sighed and placed the syringe down but then I saw Xoncron twitch. A bright, pink light emanated from him and we all had to close our eyes to avoid being blinded. I bit my lip hard enough to make it bleed; I could feel a BIG Heartless attacking somewhere. God help me Xoncron, if you don’t wake up! When the light died we opened our eyes and gawked at the awakened Xoncron. Lexa and Xero burst into laughter and fell onto the floor, tears streaming from them. “What?” Xoncron asked as I looked at the syringe. “Note to self,” I said. “Put less pink food dye in the next batch.” “What does that mean?” Xoncron asked, panicked. “Do not look in mirror,” I said, averting my gaze. “Why? Aughhh!” he cried as he looked over at the mirror next to him. “I told him not to look in mirror!” I cried as Lexa and Xero laughed harder. “He never listens.” “Not the time for Jackie Chan Rixec!” Xoncron shouted. “My hair is PINK!” “Relax, it’ll wear off,” I assured him. Maybe. Possibly. No. I had no idea whatsoever. Oh well. Within an hour, I had a new batch ready and woke Sephirix up with no pink hair. I felt much better and the Heartless were returning to the shadows. Oh, and Xoncron made a mistake about the potion. Sephirix, not being a regular person, remembered everything. However, the sight of Xoncron with pink hair made him laugh so hard he decided to let the whole thing go. 1 Lexa Infinite reacted to this
Lexa Infinite 141 Posted March 5, 2013 Lexa After the randomness of breakfast, me and Xero decided to go check out the town. "Where are you two going?" Sephirix asked. "The library." We said in unison and walked out the door, leaving no more explanation. "Lexa?""Mmm?" "That Sephirix guy is a fah-reak." "Why do you say that?""He stares at you waaaay too much.""Getting self-conscious, Xero?""Actually, yes. God, why won't he stare at me? I'm available, HELL-O!" I laughed at Xero's frustration. "You know what? You can have him. You two are perfect for each other." "Ew. No, he is SO not my type.""So, you want him to look, but you don't want to-""Yeah. Not much into conventional, generic dating, anyway.""Oh?""Nope. Although, I might change my mind for Axel or-""Yeah, you better cut that sentence short right there.""I can't help that your boyfriend was the King of Dark and Se-""Xero, treaty or not, I will punch you in the face.""Okay, okay! Just teasing." "And Vanitas still is the reigning King of Dark and Awesome." "No kidding." Xero sighed. "God, if he wasn't so attached to you...""No way in hell, Xero.""Yeah, yeah. You know, it's hard being a goody-goody, you know. Other than the pranks. That's easy." "I thought you'd think so." "You want to-""Oh, yeah." "You thinking what I'm thinking of, Xero?" "Hey, there's a lesson to be learned: never let two pyros alone to talk to each other. The results can be rather-""Destructive." Me and Xero got the same grin as we walked into the library. "God, didn't leave much of a library, did you?!" Rixec said, eyeing the big stack of books I was holding with both hands. "Trust me, there's plenty library left." I said. "Look, you guys do what you want; me and Xero are going to be reading for most of today." Xero walked in behind me, carrying as much as I did. "How many did you check out?" Rixec asked. "13." I answered. "Together?" He replied. "Oh, no, just me. Xero, how many?" "15." She said and dropped the books on my bed, along with mine. "You guys have fun!" Xero said and closed the bedroom door. After a few hours, the guys left. To where, we didn't know. "Okay, you got the stuff?" I asked. "I'm a pyro, Lexa; Of course, I do." Xero asked, not peering up from her book. "So, everything's set up?" "Yep, the guys are going to learn they aren't the only ones here who have a sense of humor." The guys came home late. We waited a few hours for them to all fall asleep and then we initiated our plan. "How long are those fuses going to last?" I asked quietly. "30 seconds." Xero replied. "Okay, then." I said. "Is it okay to-" "Yep; light it up." Xero replied. I quickly lit the fuse, then hauled ass out of the house. Note to all: at no point in time were any of the occupants of our house in any sort of danger; trust me: we pyros go all out on our pranks, including safety. As it was..... "5-4-3-2-1-" The house burst to life with color and noise as harmless fireworks started going off inside the house. We were a far enough distance for the guys not to see us when they would come out, but close enough to hear them yelling. "Hey, Xero: can I blame this solely on you?" I asked as the guys started coming out of the house. "Lexa, I wouldn't have it any other way." She said. "Man, the guys have it cut out for them if they think they have comeback for this." Xero This is probably the shortest entry I will ever do, but.... BEST. PRANK. EVER.
Keyblade Master Rixec 44 Posted March 8, 2013 Rixec Lexa and Xero were out today, so that gave us time to work. Xoncron, Sephirix, and I were all in the secret War Room that we had built after the pyro incident. Today the discussion was the continuation of vengeance against the girls, but we hadn’t gotten as far as I would have liked yet. “I say this plan looks good,” Sephirix said as he passed the paper around. “Sephirix,” Xoncron said, “I am not setting my hair ablaze and turning my skin pink. How does that get back at the girls anyway?” “Oh! Sorry, you’re looking on the wrong side of the paper. Those are my future plans for you if you ever potion-fy me again.” “I need new friends,” Xoncron sighed. I turned the paper over and looked over Sephirix’s plan. The details that went into it, the amazing penmanship in writing it, this was Sephirix’s work if I ever saw it. “So, when do we put it into motion?” I asked. “Tonight,” Sephirix grinned. Several hours passed and we were just sitting in the War Room. About ten minutes before the girls got back Xoncron asked, “Why didn’t we just leave the War Room when we were done and go do something fun?” “I thought of that,” I said, “but you just seemed so comfortable sitting here that I didn’t want to bring it up. Plus, I didn’t want to be the first to show weakness.” “Amen to the pride buddy,” Sephirix said and I fist bumped him. Lexa and Xero were giggling when they got in – about their prank on us – but they wouldn’t be giggling for long. Sephirix’s plan was a mastpiece. Night fell upon Radiant Garden and the girls were getting ready for bed. We were betting ready as well; this was gonna be on interesting night. ??? I walked into Xero’s room quietly; she lay upon her bed in a twisted position, much like her mind was. I walked up to her and shook her shoulder. “Xero? Wake up Xero.” Xero’s eyes fluttered open and she blinked in surprise of seeing me. “Sephirix! What are you doing in my room?” she asked angrily. “Shhh,” I said as I pressed a finger to her lips. “There will be time for that later. Right now, I want to talk about you and me.” She raised an eyebrow, skeptical of me. “What could you possibly want to discuss about us. We have nothing in common.” “Don’t we,” I grinned as I placed a hand under her chin. “Remove your hand before I do something that will break the treaty. And I assure you, Lexa will back me up on this. Your precious Lexa.” “Oh Lexa!” I laughed. “She’s yesterday’s news.” Xero was confused by what I was doing. It was actually pretty interesting to see the girl who had given us a lot of trouble like this. “Has anyone ever told you hoe radiant you are Xero?” I asked. “What?” she blinked. She started to grow angry and said, “What are you planning Sephirix?” “Wrong phrasing,” I grinned. “Let me tell you something interesting.” I bent down and whispered three words in her ear. In the two seconds she was blushing out of embarrassment and anger I darted from the room, laughing. Had to move before she caught me! ??? I watched from the window outside as Lexa woke to the sight of Sephirix in her room. “Sephirix!” she exclaimed as she pulled her sheets close to her chest. “What are you gonna do now? Be warned, I’ll kick your @ss in three seconds flat.” “Lexa,” he said, “we have to talk.” Lexa cocked her head to the side, unsure of what was happening. “This is unlike you Sephirix.” “I’ve had an epiphany,” he said. I watched as he grinned and sat down on the end of the bed. This was gonna be fun. It was the most ingenious plan ever. “I realized that I don’t love you.” At that moment I started walking back into the house and towards Lexa’s room. On the opposite end of the house I could hear Xero and grinned. Everything was going according to plan so far. When I got to Lexa’s room I heard her say, “Sephirix, what are you talking about?” “I mean that I love somebody else,” he said. “Some far hotter than you.” Those last words came out a bit hesitantly. He was gonna ruin everything! I walked in and grinned at Lexa’s charming face. “Axel!” she exclaimed. “What are you doing here?!” “Claiming my BF,” I aid as I grabbed the man on her bed and brought him close to me. Lexa’s face was horrified as she saw the image of us kissing. We darted out of the room, holding hands as Lexa chased after us. ??? I laughed as I came into the den and sat down on the couch’s arm. Xero followed me in and had her Keyblade out, brimming with flames. “You’re a dead man Sephirix,” she gritted through her teeth, but she was smiling the whole time. Pyros always have the creepiest grins when angry. “But the fun hasn’t even started yet,” I laughed as the sight of Axel and Sephirix came into the room, followed by Lexa. Axel and the other Sephirix joined me on the couch. The girls blinked in surprise at the sight of two Sephirixs. “What the?” Lexa gawked. “How?” Xero gasped. At that moment the floor cackled with electricity and the girls jumped up in shock as the electricity flowed through them from their bare feet to their heads. We laughed as their hair became frizzled, like Frankenstein’s wife. They screamed as they looked at each other, realizing the same must have happened to them. The effects died out after a few seconds and their hair was normal again. “Oh sure,” the other Sephirix said, “you fix their hair.” “I like my life,” I grinned as I undid the spell and I changed. “Rixec?!” the girls screamed. Sephirix I grinned at the success of my plan as I changed back from Axel and undid the spell on Xoncron, who had also become me. “Should have thought twice about that pyro incident,” I laughed. The girls came up to us and started hitting us all repeatedly; not enough to really hurt us – except for a few certain punches – but it was worth it. It meant we succeeded. “What did you do?” Lexa asked. “I transformed into Sephirix and charmed Xero,” Rixec explained. “Did not,” Xero scoffed as she turned her head, still blushing. “And I became Axel and turned Xoncron into me as well,” I laughed as I saw the discomfort on Xoncron’s face. “We wanted to mess with you after what you did to us but the only way we’d be able to get you out here was to make you overcome with emotion that you wouldn’t suspect us of anything.” “But you and Axel – I mean – you and Xoncron kissed!” Lexa exclaimed. “Just an illusion spell,” Xoncron said. “Thank God we have magic.” “Agreed,” I said. “But if you that disappointed Lexa you can kiss me now.” “How ‘bout a kick instead?”she glared. “Come on,” Rixec laughed. “We’re all even now so we can keep this vacation up.” “Oh, we’re not done yet,” Xero said as she glared at Rixec. “I’ll deal with you at a later date. Time is not on your side.” The girls walked back to their rooms to get some sleep and I pulled out three thermoses of cocoa. “Good work tonight men,” I said as I passed them each a thermos. “Next time let’s do things a little differently,” Xoncron said. “Even if we didn’t kiss I didn’t like being that close to you.” “The point is, we did well,” Rixec said as he took a sip. “That’s about all we can ask for.” “By the way,” I asked, “what did you say to Xero? It must have been different from what I told you to say.” “Yeah,” Rixec grinned. “And it’s our little secret.” 1 Lexa Infinite reacted to this
