Kingdom Hearts: KHXIII (Roleplay)

Jumping off the glider as the silvery armor faded away into it's compact form. "Ventus you are more evil than I thought a sweet little boy could be." Vanitas would be scared of what Ventus remembered, did, and planned in his little head. "Remind me not to do anything ridiculous in front of ya shortie."

Stepping onto the round a warm green light disappearing from his body. "Let's make sure Lexa OR Vanitas don't find out about it. Bet he can manage to have the same problem though." Smiling innocently as if he hadn't told William at thing. "I'll go find Mickey or one of the others. See ya in a minute William." Turning on the heel of his armored feet, almost smiling to much, before making a sprint to find the others around the beautiful world.

"Damn. Well Vani you wouldn't believe-" Stopping at the sight of Lexa, once again unconscious, being held up by Vanitas. "Forget it. What the hell happen to her this time?! It couldn't of been Namine. Unless you already know them, I haven't seen them, and still need to have a few thing to be explained right?" Rushing up at a surprising pace, just barely stopping herself from slapping Vanitas across the face, before getting onto the other side of Lexa to support her. "You tell me to go away and Mickey gets to kick your ass because last thing he knows is that you were one of Xehanort's lackeys." A stern, completely focused expression, so different from the normal happy William was on her face. "Even though I hate ya here I still don't want to see you get beat up badly. I like making sure my favorite don't end up to badly beatup when it does do anything to the storyline." 'That and I promised Ventus to give ya a shot. He says that you should watch out. He may not always seem mean but the kid can defiantly match your standards without Darkness." Was her softly spoken part of the long conversation, almost bursting at the seams, with a slight feeling of pride.

Xero

I sat in front of my laptop, enjoying what some people would call a 'bastardized' version of Paint It Black. Nightcore: exactly my type of insanity. The volume was baring-ly loud, so I started going along with it.

"I see a red door and I want it painted black

No colors anymore I want them to turn black

I see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothesI have to turn my head until my darkness goes

I see a line of cars and they're all painted black

With flowers and my love both never to come backI see people turn their heads and quickly look awayLike a new born baby it just happens ev'ry day

I look inside myself and see my heart is black

I see my red door and it has been painted black

Maybe then I'll fade away and not have to face the factsIt's not easy facin' up when your whole world is black

No more will my green sea go turn a deeper blueI could not foresee this thing happening to you

If I look hard enough into the settin sun

My love will laugh with me before the mornin comes.

I see a red door and I want it painted blackNo colors anymore I want them to turn blackI see the girls walk by dressed in their summer clothes

I have to turn my head until my darkness goes"

The door to my room to my room slammed opened as I was about to get to my favorite part. I rolled my eyes and paused it.

"What the hell do you want? It had better be good!" I turned my chair around. Marluxia stood in the doorway. "You have a simple choice: confess here and now, or we can do this the hard way." He said. "Who pissed in your flower bed?" I said.

"Xero: now." He demanded. "I don't take orders that easily, especially from someone who looks more girly than I do. Now, if you don't mind, I'm in the middle of a rather good song." I said. "Honestly, I don't know what the hell you're talking about, so there's the door: take it."

"Mind telling what you were doing with the observation orb earlier?" He said, coolly. "Oh, just the normal: making trouble, causing glorious chaos. It's really nothing, Marly. There was a good 75/25 ratio to me accidentally breaking it." I reveled in the word chaos. "Since you lack such care for it, you are hereby forbidden from using that." Marluxia said.

"And how's going to stop me? You? Larxene? Neither of you have really seen my full potential." I laughed. "If you were wise, you'd keep to my good side." I turned back around. I was about to hit play when Marluxia grabbed the back of my coat and pulled me out of the room. "THE HELL?" I yelled. "YOU BETTER PUT ME DOWN, OR SO HELP ME, I WILL-"

"If I can't punish you, then we'll let him try to discipline you."

"IF YOU THINK THAT OFF-BRAND XONCRON CAN TEACH ME TO BE YOUR LAPDOG, YOU GOT ANOTHER COMING, GAYLORD PINKIEPIE!" I shrieked.

Marluxia dragged me, kicking and screaming, into Dark-Xon's room. "Think you teach her to be respectful?" Marluxia shoved me down of my knees. "Are you serious?" Dark-Xon said in annoyance. "She's close enough to Lexa; use your imagination." Marluxia said and left. I stood up, quickly stood up and summoned Binds of Darkness. "Don't you dare take a step toward me; it'll be the last thing you'll do with a some-what sane mind." I threatened. Dark-Xon stood up from the table that had a lot of paperwork on it. "I meant that, I will f&ck you up." I said. "You underestimate me." Dark-Xon chuckled.

I grabbed the door knob with my free hand. He took a step forward. I twisted it opened and ran out, opening a dark corridor. He caught up to me right as I got inside it. He wrapped an arm around my neck, pulling me off the ground. He was much stronger than I'd thought. If I had to judge....he made Sephiroth look like a school boy. "Since I have permission, I may as well..." He said.

Darkness surrounded us and I couldn't see. The darkness cleared to reveal...Hell. There were Heartless everywhere and it was so dark. He grasped the back of my neck and held me over a cliff. "Look down, Xero; what do you see, I wonder." I looked down, wishing I hadn't. "O----OH, shit!" I tried to maneuver to try to get on back on solid ground. The ground below me was a writhing mass of Heartless.

"I wonder...if you became a Heartless, would you have a Nobody, or just something different entirely?" He said. He let go. I screamed at the top of my lungs, flailing as I summoned Binds of Darkness. I was going to die, here and now: it was either going to be the fall or I was going to be devoured by the Heartless. Either way, this was the end.

I felt a force grab me by the hip and throw me on to the ground above the pit. I felt the air whoosh out and I grabbed my chest. "You ever going to question us again, Xero?" Dark-Xon said. I shook my head, thoroughly shaking from head to toe. "Good. Stand." I stood up and walked through a dark corridor into my room. I closed it and sat in my chair, freaking out. I felt something go down my face.

"Hey, how's my favorite-" Larxene walked in. "Hey, what happened to you?" She said. I relayed the whole story, keeping my voice steady. "Oh, HELL no." Larxene said. "You were just practicing. The only thing I'm pissed about is you didn't invite me. I'm going to make everything right. Trust me, when I'm done, Marly's just going to kiss your feet, 'kay?" She said. I nodded my head.

15 minutes, Larxene came back and threw Marluxia at my feet. "Wanna apologize now? I'd rather not have to attach you to an outlet." She said.  "I did not order him to bring her to the World of Darkness." Marluxia said through gritted teeth. "I honestly don't care; you let it happen, you have to pay the price." Larxene said. "That is the way of Castle Oblivion." "I'll sooner-"

Larxene kicked Marluxia in the small of his back. "I...apologize.That was an oversight on my part." Marluxia said."And don't you forget who really rules this castle." Larxene said. "You...." Marluxia said.

I looked up in surprise. "That's right: because you messed up big last time, remember?" Larxene said. "Yes." Marluxia said. "Yes...?" Larxene said. "Ma'am." Marluxia said. "Good. Now, get out." Larxene said. Marluxia stood up and left. "See? Perks to being in charge. Now whatcha listening to?" She said. "Umm...Paint It Black, nightcore version." I said. "Oooh, nightcore." She said.

I started it over. Me and Larxene sat and listened to nightcore for a while, greatly improving my mood. "Sorry for what Dark-Xon did, but you've got to pick your fights wisely." Larxene said. "We'll get him, though." I nodded.

No.

Larxene wouldn't get him.

But I would.

That f&cker would live to regret this day.

In some ways, I do believe I am more sadistic than Larxene.

Larxene is sadistic in a physical way, a way that fades away with time.

My kind of sadism is one that sticks, one that remains, unfading and unerring for a long time.

He'll wish for death and mercy when I was done.

And I would deny it.

I hummed cheerfully as I drove to Castle Oblivion. Interesting, I had expected to go to Xoncron, but I wound up here instead.  “Oh yes, there’s that evil dark soul half thing; must have mixed them up. Oh well, I could use a little fun.”

I hopped off my bike and casually wandered up to the front door. I grabbed the handle and pulled but it was locked. Unbelievable, what kind of world do we live in where people aren’t trusting enough to leave their doors unlocked so anyone can come on in?

I could probably blast this door down, but I really didn’t want to get stuck with the bill for fixing it up. It’s a principle of mine. So I just knocked on the door and stood off to the side as I waited. “Yes?” a voice said as the door opened.

I used my incredible strength to slam the door and when I heard a thud I opened it to see the doorman knocked out. “You always gotta have a peep hole,” I smiled as I walked in.

Huh, I thought, this was much nicer than the last time I was here. I wonder if I should get whoever redid it to make me a house or something.

I started skipping down the hall as I observed the place. It really was a nice place; and nice places tend to have cocoa! I was mildly upset I didn’t get mine back in Radiant garden. I moved down until I finally found a kitchen like area and walked in. There were several Nobodies in there and their heads turned to me as I walked in. “Don’t mind me, just getting some cocoa,” I said as I started looking through the pantries.

I don’t know why, but for some reason I felt like these Nobodies weren’t pleased to see me, and it wasn’t because they were all pointing their weapons and in attack formation. I turned around and said, “Oh, I’m sorry. Did you want some?”

One Nobody leapt at me but I swiftly pulled out one of my guns and fired, blasting it in the head. “I’m sure there’s plenty,” I smiled as they charged me.

I sighed; there really might have been enough cocoa for all of us but they were so insistent. But I really wanted my cocoa. My needs outweighed theirs so I started lazily firing at them. I hummed “Do You Hear the People Sing” as I battle, calling out my Keyblade and started slashing at them. I wasn’t even looking at the Nobodies. I was still scouring the pantries for some cocoa mix. “Ah, here it is,” I said as I killed another Nobody behind me while I reached in to grab it.

I placed it on the counter and slammed my fist up next to head to stop a Nobody in its track. It fell to the ground and I started prepping my cocoa. More Nobodies charged and I pulled out my gun again and fired randomly as I put the hot water into the cup. “Let’s see, let’s see, does anyone have a spoon?” I asked as I severed the head of yet another Nobody as I blasted it in the neck. The head went flying and before it disappeared it hit the table and silverware started flying. A spoon fell into my hand and I smiled graciously. “Thank you,” I said as I started mixing everything in the cup.

Finally, I finished and I put my gun down. “Okay, I’m done, who else wants some?” I asked as I turned around. A messy kitchen was left behind me and every Nobody in there had been destroyed. “They must have gotten impatient and went out,” I hummed as I took a sip. “Delicious.”

I heard footstep[s running down the hall and Marluxia appeared in the kitchen and was shocked and appalled to see me. “Who are you?” he asked.

“Sephirix,” I smiled. “And you’re the infamous Marluxia. Tell me, do you have a spare rose? It might prove useful in finally getting me a girlfriend.”

“How did you get in here?” Marluxia asked. “We have the best security there is!”

“Front door,” I shrugged as I took another sip.

“If you value your life boy you’ll come with me right now.”

“Can’t do that,” I smirked.

“And why is that?” Marluxia asked, ready to fight.

“Because you have no idea what trouble I’ve had to get a damn cup of cocoa, so I’m not going anywhere until I finish,” I said as I sipped the rest down. “Okay, now I’m done. So, where to boss?”

Marluxia seemed to flinch as the boss statement but then he smiled and said, “That’s right. I’m the boss. I’m the one you listen to if you want to get out alive.”

“Cool with me,” I smiled as I stood up. “Oh, you might want to think about teaching your Nobodies some patience. It wasn’t gonna take long for me to make cocoa yet they all got up and left.”

Marluxia observed the battlefield and muttered, “Indeed. Come on. I think you should meet Larxene.”

“Sounds hot,” I laughed as I skipped along after Marluxia. This was gonna be fun.

Norcnox

I looked upon my work with pride. I had successfully rebuilt the Kingdom Hearts Encoder. It was essential in my plans of destruction. Now all I needed was the device from The End of the World and my objectives would be that much closer to completion. I sent out a message to some of my troops mentally. I told them to bring me the device for createing heartless from The End of the World. I couldn't help but smile as I felt them obey.

As I messaged my troops I could feel Xero trying to access my mind. No doubt trying to take vengence. What a busy day it had been. First there was the incident with Sephirix, whom I had also planned for, here at the CO, then the completion of the Kingdom Hearts Encoder, and now this. I allowed Xero access to my mind. Boy was she going to be surprised when she discovered that I not only enjoyed pain, but that I fear nothing. Not even being rejoined with Xoncron. After all it's difficult to be afraid of being rejioned with someone whom you've influenced, tormented, and has known about you since childhood.

“All done,” I grinned as I put the last Ace card on the pile. I had used my light powers to create a deck of cards so I could play solitaire while I was locked up in this cell. The only tricky part was that they were colorless so I had wondered at times if I was playing a red or black card.

“You look awfully calm for someone locked up,” Larxene laughed as she strolled by.

“I’ve been in worse situations,” I yawned as I lay down. “Besides, I can get out of here whenever I want.”

“Don’t bother trying to trick me,” Larxene smirked. “We even managed to hold Sephiroth so you’re no problem.”

“Then I guess I’m screwed,” I shrugged. “You got any magazines?”

“Just you wait; soon, you won’t have a care in the world.”

“I’m doing that now,” I said.

Larxene took off and I smirked as she did. Marluxia thought he could use me to fight Larxene and help him to the top but the moment we met she prepared herself for battle and I simply surrendered. It was too much of a hassle at the time. Besides, it would be good to figure out what they were up to.

I stood up and walked over to the cell door. I put my hand through the bar and placed it on the lock. I let a small amount of magic work its way through and soon the locked clicked open. This cell might have held Sephiroth, but his powers were now combined with Rixec’s, and they weren’t prepared for that.

I walked out and started whistling as I went down the hall. I climbed up the stairs and found myself in an empty hall. Guess they thinned out on guards after the cocoa incident. Made my stroll all the easier. I made my way down and soon felt a strange power. I walked into a room and from the looks of it it seemed to belong to Xoncron’s evil half. I could tell from the torture plans for Xoncron involving Justin Bieber.

I started shuffling through his stuff when I noticed something hidden. I took it out and wolf whisled: a Kingdom Hearts Encoder. Evil Xoncron had been very busy. I heard something going on down the hall. It sounded like Xero and Evil Xoncron. It was time for me to leave.

I walked out and summoned my black feathers to take me out of the castle. I landed outside, right next to my bike. I should have taken the Encoder, but I didn’t want to do anything unnecessary just yet. First, I should tell Rixec’s companions.

Suddenly, I heard an alarm from inside the castle; guess they found out I escaped. I smirked as I started driving away. I could Larxene’s shrieks as I teleported off this world.

I should try Xoncron first; he may be more understanding of Sephirix.

Xero

I walked down the hallway from Dark-Xon's room, leaving stains on the white, polished floor. Let someone else clean that mess. I sang softly. "Baby, can't you see? I'm calling; a guy should wear a warning. It's dangerous. I'm falling."

This was a total new level for me. I had been unaware of what my full extent of power could be. Now I knew my full capabilities."I'm addicted to you. Don't you know that you're toxic." I grinned as Marluxia turned into the hallway. He stopped and stared, wide eyed. "What are you looking at? I didn't kill anyone." I retorted and walked past him. He flinched when I ran my crimson dyed hand across his face as I passed.

I entered my room and immediately looked at myself in the mirror. I looked like Vanitas with long red hair. "You'd think someone would die of losing that much...." I said. I looked at my right hand, dripping with a black, thick, oily substance. I pondered at the memory as I washed off.....

I sat on Dark-Xon's chest, which now held a bloody cursive laceration in a neat, cursive writing that read "Darkness in Xero." He had been extremely annoying, revealing to be a masochist, an antithesis of me.

I had been unsuccessful at infiltrating his mind, other being able to immobilize him, which is child's play, so he forced my hand. "I can obviously see that neither of are getting anywhere by me beating around the bush, so let's get to the main part of this." I said. "This ought to be good." He said and rolled his eyes. Did I mention I didn't figure how to shut him up.

I aimed my right hand over his chest and plunged it deep in. "Hold still, or I might mess this up. Even more so because I didn't 'prep'." I found his black heart and pulled it out with great force. "Don't worry; as long I keep this connection, I should be able to put this back in.... I think."

I took a moment to examine it while Dark-Xon was starting to freak out. The heart was dripping in the black oily substance, radiating darkness. When it hit Dark-Xon's mattress, it seemed to disappear into a vapor-like smoke. "Intriguing." I said

. "Let me assure you of one last thing." I leaned in close. "You ever mess with me again, I'll wait this time; you won't see it coming; I'll rip this straight from your chest and take a big bite of it like it was an apple. Are we understood?" I said.

He glared. I squeezed on the heart. He winced. "I don't think you are getting the point. I said, are we understood?" I started to crush the heart in my hand. "Yes!" He gasped. "Good." I said and delicately placed the heart back in.

"Before I leave..." I said. I pulled out a pair of brass knuckles out of my pocket. "While I was giving you a tattoo, it came to my attention that you aren't wearing a cup." I moved back quickly and punched as hard as I could. He finally groaned as I removed myself from his mind. "I happen to know for a fact no man, no matter how masochistic, can stand that. Good day." I left the room....

I felt no regret in my act, only a proud triumph. That would be the last time anyone would ever mess with me. Ever.

Norcnox.

I vanished into the shadows of the floor and reemerged an instant later from the shadows on the wall. All the physical damage done by Xero was now gone; like it had never even been there. While I had never felt more alive than when I was experienceing the pain that Xero was inflicting, she was starting to become a minor annoyance.

"These pawns have almost out lived their usefulness," I said to my self.

All three of them would be done away with soon enough, but in the meantime they could still prove useful. Suddenly, a dark corridor opened up in my room.

"It's about time," I said as some of my troops emerged from the dark corridor carry a machine that looked like it was meant for createing heartless.

"P-p-p-pleassssse k-k-kill usssssss," One the corpses said.

"Silence!" I hissed as I inspected the machine. "Yes, this will do quite nicely. Now get back to expanding my army!"

With that the corpses left to return to their normal task as I got out the Kingdom Hearts Encoder. Then I started to hard wire it to the machine my troops had brought me. Yes my master plan was coming together quite nicely. Soon it would be time for the pawns to learn who the true master of this castle. And if any of them had a problem with that, especially Xero, well only Xoncron and I knew what I was fully capable of.

(Shit.....my iPad isn't liking longer posts.....)

It had been relatively quiet between herself and Vanitas. A temporary, if only just barely, truce formed from to very disagreeing people. Which is why seeing the mouse King sent her heart into hysterics at the first sight. Of course what happened next was not the thing she had expected to happen. "Your majesty you need to stop!" On the ground, wincing at the sight of Lexa sprawled as equally painfully looking, she watched the small mouse King begin a painful combo on Vanitas.

Oh at was not his plan. As soon as Vanitas's name was uttered Mickey had ran off in a fury. "Mickey he's not-!" Ventus's gaze shifted between William and the fight between the two equally powerful people. "I'm sorry! I forgot to mention he was on our side before mentioning his name!" It didn't look like it was a wise idea to get in the middle of it. But not getting in the middle of it would be equally if not more dangerous.

Vanitas

The King had me on the defensive. "Wait-" The King hit hard, causing me to slid back against the smooth floor. "I'm-" I jumped back as he tried again. Finally, I caught the King's Keyblade in my hand. "I'm on your side, okay?! Stop, she's needs aid!" I looked over to Lexa. "Huh?" The King looked confused. "She's my-" I stumbled on to the next word. "-girlfriend. Please." I said.

The King looked at me, suspiciously. "I swear, I'm not lying. On my word as a Keyblade Bearer." I let go of the King's Keyblade, desummoning my own. "If you don't believe me, then, by all means, kick me out. Just don't make her suffer for it." I said, holding up my hands.

"You're serious." The King desummoned his Keyblade and I sighed in relief. "What happened to-" "I don't know; she just started acting like she had a massive migraine, and then freaked out completely." I said and picked up Lexa, carrying her in my arms.

"You've changed." The King said. "More than you know. Xoncron-" I looked back. "Do me a favor and fill in the King on what's been happening in the worlds. Your Majesty, to put this lightly, we've got a lot of problems."

Lexa

I woke up with a start. WHAT. THE. HECK. I'd not only felt like someone had put my head in a vice grip, I'd had dreams that may or may not have been Xero's memories. If they were real...I shook my head. No way they could be real. I looked around the room; it was a very generic Disney-esque room. I got up and walked out. I saw a note on the floor in front of the door. It had a map, detailing the castle layout and how to get to the library.

I walked into the library after getting myself lost once or twice. "Hello?" I said as I opened the door. The library was deserted. I saw another note on the table. Be back in five minutes. Vanitas

Well, at least Vanitas managed to smooth things over with the King. I didn't want to think how that went. I paced the bookshelves, looking for a good book. I heard voices as I was about to take one off.

The door opened and the King, followed by Vanitas, came in. I bowed immediately. "It's an honor to meet you, Your Highness." I said. "Nice to meet you, too, Lexa. Call me Mickey." He said and we shook hands.

Excuse me for a minute, while my mind does a double take. Holy crap, I just shook Mickey Mouse's hand.

"Alright, then, Mickey." I said. "How much did the guys tell you?" "They gave me a good bit. You've all been through a lot." Mickey said. "Oh, yeah, we're just scraping along." I said. "It sounds like you guys need help." Mickey said. "That's kind of why we came here." I said. "That's what your friend Xoncron said. Him and Vanitas mentioned someone named Xero, but they both said you were the best at explainin' that."

I sighed. "She's my dark side. Vanitas is to Ventus as Xero is to me, to put it simply." I answered. "We just...need to time to recover and get everything straight." I said. "That's alright, take as much time as you guys need." The King said. Vanitas reached out his hand, smiling reassuringly. I took his hand, smiling back.

"You seem drained." Vanitas said. "Having weird dreams again." I said. "Oh, please say we're not going to have Scream-Fest Round Two." Vanitas said, quickly. "No, it's not that. I think I'm seeing memories of Xero's." I said. "Why do you think that?" He asked. "I had a dream where Xero went into super-psycho, sadistic b!tch mode on Xoncron's dark side. To quote her, "looked like Vanitas with long red hair". There was so much blood." I said, shuddering.

"Well, we're safe here. We'll plan later, okay?" Vanitas said. "Question: if the Cornerstone of Light is here, then how-" "Dying of the Light: 100% light resistance." Vanitas held up his left hand, which held a plain silver ring. "Ah." I said. "Prepared for everything."

"Shortie do you think it's a good idea to play around with such unusual magic? I mean we might not be able to fix it if anything goes wrong." But it did seem like a ton of fun. That and she needed to get her mind of the fact that she had met Mickey of all things. Lexa probably had a similar reaction when she saw him. "What is it supposed to do anyways?"

After dealing with the situation the duo had asked to explore the place for the time being. It was all very familiar to him for some reason but he didn't really linger on it. "Well it's suppose to change appearances. You gotta think of who you want to like them it should make you appear as that." It looked simple enough to him but then again William couldn't use magic. "I'll show you then."

Erie feeling nagging at her brain. It was ringing in her head that she should tell him to stop but she was so curious about the unusual magic. "Okay then Shortie try it out. If you can copy Xehanort we might be able to give Lexa a heart attack." Before Vanitas decides to rip us apart limb by limb for pulling such a devious stunt. "Or maybe even Aqua to see if we can get a reaction out of Vani."

That did sound like a good idea. The second one at least. "Okay let's go for Aqua first. We can try Xehanort later when there aren't so many people around." Taking a deep breathe before a strange tingling went down his arm. Pulling from the energy he muttered the magic softly. Aqua's appearance was easy to visualize in his head. He really did miss her a lot. Which was why he felt so strange the next second. Something wasn't right.

She felt all tingly. Like she was pressed against a fuzzy blanket that had just came out of the drier. "Hey Ven did it.....?" That was NOT her voice. It didn't even sound like a girls it sounded a lot like a young boys! "Ventus!? What the hell just-!" Looking down her -his- mouth dropped. She wasn't a she anymore. He wasn't even in his own body anymore. "Oh my god. Ven what the heck are we going to do?!"

Oh that was not what he -she- wanted. "I'm sorry but ah it shouldn't of done that?!" She was half screaming before clamming her mouth shut. Williams's voice was much higher than anything she'd heard before. "Um do we maybe want to tell them before they find us instead?" She really didn't want them to walk in while they were like this but they'd have to fess up at some point.

"I don't know! I'm still trying to figure this out myself." He was allowed to be depressing and somewhat annoying still right? "Okay Ven let's find them, preferably Mickey first, so we can fix this mess up."

Xero

I watched Dark-Xon leave the room behind a corner. He'd been in there for, like, ever; I mean, who constantly pulls all-nighters to do nothing? Certainly not him. I had check what he was doing. I waited until he was well away, then walked into the room. "What the hell?" I said, looking at all the machinery. "What IS he up to?" I said to myself.

I looked at some of the blueprint. "Why is he so against labels? It would make this so easier." I rolled my eyes in irritation as I scoured the documents. After examining them for a while, I went to check on the machinery itself. The main machine covered up a whole wall; it looked like Dark-Xon had knocked down some walls to make this fit. "I see why you wanted the 12B floor now." I said as I started peering into the inner parts of the machine.

I noticed what looked to be a glass pod, wide open in the center of it. "What is this?" I said. This was all so familiar; unfortunately, with my unexpected split from Lexa, I was starting to lose some of my prior knowledge, but something told me if Lexa saw this, she'd freak. Massively. I started to really get into it, temporarily moving some of the parts to get a closer look.

"What is this?" I said as I stepped back and looked at the big picture. I noticed there was a towel on the floor, leading under the machine. "So, that's where he was last working...." I said. I slid myself underneath it, bringing a flashlight to get a better look.

I felt the towel slide back viciously, making me appear back from under the machine.

Dark-Xon stood over me, looking like he could murder. Oh, shit!

Norcnox

Xero looked at me in horror as my arm turned into mass of dark tendrils. I wrapped them around her and threw her up against the wall.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU WERE DOING!" I yelled in rage.

"I w-w-was just t-t-t-trying to figure out w-w-what it does," Xero said trembleing. "How did you do that?"

"I'm somewhat of a shapeshifter," I replied "I merely stay in the form of Xoncron because his appearance is the one I'm used to haveing."

"Interesting. So w-what does that m-m-machine do?" Xero asked.

"You and everyone else shall find out soon enough," I said as I released her. "In the meantime you're lucky that I need you for my next plan."

"Plan? What plan?" Xero asked as fell back onto the floor.

"My plan to force Xoncron to choose to save life of either Rixec, Lexa, or Vanitas," I said.

"Isn't Rixec fused with Sephiroth at the moment?" She aske confused.

"Yes," I said "But their personalities are so different and they both have such strong wills that degradation will most likely start soon and only I have the cure."

"Oooh! What's the rest of this plan?" Xero asked.

I smiled a wicked smile and began to inform her of the plan, and as I informed her of the plan I saw Xero smile as well.

I skid my bike to a stop, leaving a wide dent in the dirt of the world I was in. I looked up and grinned at the sight of Disney castle. “So they went to the old mouse for help, eh?” I laughed.

The sight of the castle was magnificent and it would certainly be interesting to thoroughly explore it. I hopped of my bike and started walking up to the entrance, whistling the Superman theme. The moment I walked in I found myself surrounded by brooms that could walk on their own. Ah Fantasia, you never fail to disappoint, even in other worlds. “I’m looking for your boss, or maybe even his friends. Care to help?” I smirked.

The brooms started to inch closer, leaving me no opening to run. If only they knew I had no intention of running. I pulled out my guns and pointed them at their – do they even have feet?

“You get two options: move or splinters,” I laughed happily.

The brooms jumped at me and I started firing. Their hairy halves blew away and their wooden bodies fell to the floor. Of course, being made of magic they started to repair themselves instantly. Well, at least they would give me a little more fun. I cocked my guns and took aim but then I grimaced and dropped my guns. I fell to my knees, clutching my chest. “Wh-what the?” I gasped.

Get me out of here!

You should be grateful for this.

This was not what I had in mind!

Then shall I give you what you wish?

“Shut up,” I whispered.

The brooms started closing in on me and then they leapt and started holding me down. I cried out as my heart burned; it seemed like it was a nuke about to go off. I was sweating heavily and the voices were louder.

Give me control dammit!

Think we would have more power if I took it.

Give me all you got then!

Shall I give you despair?

“Shut up,” I whispered. Then I roared, “SHUT! UP!”

I let out a magical explosion with the force of an erupting volcano. The brooms were disintegrated and the walls around me crumpled to dust. I slowly stood up and waited amongst the carnage. “Just what was that?” I asked myself.

“What the hell?”

I turned my head slowly and saw Xoncron standing at the end of the hall, horrified. “Who are you? Wait…. Sephiroth? What did you do?”

“Now hold on…,” I grunted.

“Your disguises won’t fool me!” Xoncron cried out as he summoned his Keyblade He lunged at me and I caught the blade with my hands. Something that’s normally impossible, but I had the powers of Sephiroth after all. “What did you do with Rixec?”

“Uh, yeah, about that,” I said. “He’s gone. And so is Sephiroth. I hope.”

“Firaga!” Xoncron cried and I jumped back to avoid the fireballs. “Enough with your crazy talk Sephiroth. Are you a new remnant of Sephiroth? One made to deceive us?”

“Would you just listen?” I asked as I started to recover.

Xoncron charged at me again and I sighed. I summoned One-Winged Angel and swung the blade. The force that emanated from it blew Xoncron back to the end of the hall. He hit the wall hard and fell on his butt. I walked over to him and knelt down. “Listen, I’m not Sephiroth or a remnant of him. I am partly him though. And partly Rixec.”

“Wh-what?” Xoncron moaned.

“Don’t you get it?” I sighed. “Sephiroth fused himself with Rixec.” To save his life, I might add.”

“You’re lying,” Xoncron said, trying to stand up.

“He’s not,” a high voice squeaked.

I turned around to see Mickey, Lexa, and Vanitas behind us. Mickey looked concerned but ready to fight if he needed to and Lexa looked horrified. Vanitas, he looked somewhere between scared and amused. Mickey continued, “I can sense both Sephiroth and your friend inside him. But the one before us is neither.”

“Correct,” I said. “I am Sephirix; all the powers of both but the crazy of Sephiroth and the mercy of Rixec. Remember that.”

“Some mercy,” Vanitas observed as he looked at the surroundings.

“Not my fault,” I said. “Something happened, something painful.”

“That makes things worse,” Mickey said. “We should all go to my chambers and talk.”

“Fine,” I said. “Got any cocoa?”

"Well, you certainly have thought things through." I said. "However, had I known you were like this earlier...." I laughed in utter joy. "Oh, you are exactly Lexa's type of poison." Dark-Xon looked at me in interest. "What do you have in mind?" He asked. "Well, as difficult as it might not seem, concentrate on not having a face." I said.

"Why is that?" He asked. "One of the things that really enraptures Lexa's fear is a faceless, fictitious being called the Slender Man. She got into it a few months ago; before that, she was utterly fearless." I said. "Hmm..." Dark-Xon said, thinking it over. "Lexa will have to be the one to go first. How does this idea of yours incorporate into that?"

"Remember how Lexa was when you got me out? How tired she looked?" I said. "Yes, why do you ask?" He said. "That's because I plagued her every night for a whole two weeks with nightmares. I literally made her wake up, screaming, always when the Slender Man would first appear." I answered. "Sounds like you were quite annoyed." He said. "Bet I was. Highly." I answered. "So, think you can pull it off?" "Child's play." Dark-Xon said.

"Xon, less face, more pale, much less on the spiky hair.""How pale do you want me to get?!""This pale.""Xero, that's a piece of notebook paper."

"Exactly."

"This is stupid. I can't believe you managed to convince me to go through with this.""No, it's perfect. This is really going to mess her up."

"Now, to lure her out into the open.""No....this has to be done carefully. This will take time."

"How long are we talking?""....A few weeks, a month. Long enough to make her paranoid, short enough to not arouse suspicion.""A month?!""Gives you time to test out that thing well enough to make sure it works consistently, doesn't it?"

"True enough. So, what exactly do I have to do?""You're good at warping?""Right...""I'll tell you when the time comes."

Lexa

I moved quickly around the kitchen. "Ass-kicker, video editor, music lover, makes kick-ass cocoa, is there anything you can't do?" Sephirix said. "Hey, that's my girlfriend you're flirting with." Vanitas said. "It's okay." I replied. "What are you making?" Xoncron said. "Sweet tea." I said, looking through cabinets. "Do you really need anymore sugar?" Vanitas said. "Yep, I-" I felt myself fall. Suddenly, I was in Vanitas's arms. "What happened?" I said. "You passed out. Is that a norm for you?" He asked. "No, I don't know what happened. I-"

I felt something grip my heart in an icy vice grip. I gasped, clutching my chest. "Lexa!" Xoncron stood by me and Vanitas. "Something just went very wrong with the worlds; something extremely horribly wrong!" I said. "A wrongness that could shake the whole world from its foundation." I started to panic. "Lexa, what is the matter!?" Vanitas said.

"The worlds are calling for help. We need to go. Xoncron, go find the King and ask where Sora and Riku are, Vanitas, go get William and Ven, where ever they went. Sephirix, help me to the table." The two ran out as Sephirix sat me in a chair. "You sure?" He asked. "Never been more sure in my life. My intuition is never wrong."

I reached a dead end, and Sora was on my tail.

Is this it? Am I going to die at the hands of some overly enthusiastic, little kid video game character?

He raised his keyblade, and I pressed my back to the wall.

And then I passed through it.

There was a blur of shadows, and I found myself on the ground at the doorstep of Castle Oblivion.

Was that a Corridor of Darkness? Is this Castle Oblivion? I scratched his chin in thought, If I enter, will I have to forfeit all my abilities for cards and whatnot? Meh, doesn't matter; I hardly have any powers, and I doubt I'll even have to.

I ventured through the front door in search of anyone who could... well... explain.

I helped Lexa into a chair as I asked, “You sure?”

“Never been more sure in my life. My intuition is never wrong,” she panted.

Imagine how awkward that would be if it was, I thought. “Need anything princess?”

“Don’t call me that!” she snapped but then her face softened. “But some water would be nice.”

I smirked as I walked over and grabbed a glass by the sink. I filled it up with cold water and gave it to Lexa. She drank it down quickly and slammed it down. “Thanks,” she said.

“This whole “worlds in trouble” thing must really have you worried,” I said as I sat down and crossed my legs.

“More than you realize,” she replied.

“Care to elaborate?” I asked.

“Once everyone gets here. It’ll be easier,” Lexa sighed.

“Suit yourself,” I said as I put my arms behind my head and kicked back.

“You could act a little more concerned,” Lexa scolded me.

“Once it concerns me I’ll act that way,” I replied cheerfully.

“Unbelievable,” she said, frustrated. “I wish Rixec was here.”

“Thems the breaks kid,” I smirked.

“Don’t you have any guilt at all?” she asked.

“Guilt? I’m innocent,” I laughed. “It was Rixec’s fault for nearly getting killed and Sephiroth’s fault for trying to save him. I’m just the result of their stupidity.”

“You say it so proudly,” Lexa noted.

“I’m alive aren’t I?” I said.

“Can we reverse it?” she asked.

“What?” I said sharply.

“Your conditioning,” she said. “Can we reverse it and get Rixec back?”

“Why on Nomura’s world would I do that?” I asked crossly.

“Because it’s right!” she insisted. “Because he’s our friend! Because you shouldn’t be here!”

In an instant I was off my feet and holding Lexa up by her throat. “Don’t. Push. Me,” I gritted.

“Yo-you’re choking me,” Lexa gasped.

“Then maybe you shouldn’t be so rude as asking me to die,” I said.

“Not like that,” she wheezed. “What if the situation was reversed? What if your friend was gone and someone new replaced him?”

“Rest in peace and welcome,” I said, softening my grip.

“Is it that easy?” Lexa asked.

“People die all the time and you always meet new people,” I said. “This is no different.”

Lexa looked at me, with tears in her eyes. I smirked as I let her drop. She took a few moment to catch her breath before looking up at me. I expected her to cuss me out, to wish me dead, maybe even to fight me. But instead, she said, “I pity you.”

I was taken aback by this. Pity? Or me? Ridiculous!

I am right here!

So this is how it will be? Very well. I almost feel bad for the new us. No, not really!

“Shut up!” I said as I grabbed my head.

“What?” Lexa said, startled.

“Not you!” I snapped as I leaned up against a wall.

“Are you okay?” Lexa asked.

All three of us are suffering! We need to fix this!

Then two must die.

Not happening.

That’s the only way this ends. The only way we have anyway.

No! I believe in our hearts! We can make this work!

“SHUT UP!” I roared as I threw my head against the wall, leaving a dent. The voices stopped and I was panting and sweating heavily.

“Rixec?” Lexa said as she started walking over to me.

“Not Rixec!” I gritted. “Not Sephiroth! I am Sephirix! I’m me! It’s all I have!”

I shakily stood up and then fell against the wall and slid to my butt, panting. A few moments passed and I added softly, “And cocoa. I also have that.”

Lexa looked terrified of me and unsure of what to do. But then she walked closer and sat down next to me. “What?” I asked.

“Do you remember this?” she asked.

I remembered, but it wasn’t mine. Rixec had done something like this for her a while back. I laughed miserably and said, “I don’t need your pity.”

“I do want Rixec back,” she said. “But you’re here now Sephirix and we need your power. The worlds need you.”

“I came here because I thought it be fun,” I said. “But everyone wants someone else.”

“I guess we didn’t take your feelings into account,” she said.

“I may be unorthodox,” I said, “but I’m still me.”

“I’m sorry if I upset you.”

“Can’t be helped,” I said. “No promises, but we’ll see what happens concerning Rixec.”

“Thank you,” Lexa said as she gave me a hug and then walked back to her chair.

I watched her with newfound interest as she did. Sephiroth found her amusing; Rixec found her amazing yet someone who needs a friend, even when she says otherwise. And me? I smirked as I thought of Vanitas’s reaction.

I stood up and walked over to Lexa.

“What is it Sephirix?” she asked.

“I’m not Rixec, not Sephiroth,” I said. “I’m me. I know this because this is something they wouldn’t do.”

“What do you me-,” she started to ask before I pressed my lips to hers. Her eyes bulged out and she started to squirm. I held her tight until my lips parted from hers. She looked up at me, stunned, and I smiled at her.

“That was entirely Sephirix,” I said as I raised a finger to my lips. “And our little secret.”

He was going to bite off Vanitas's finger. But he had to act like Ventus till they had the chance to explain it all. It's not like they would notice the fact the eye colors had swapped. With the whole blue turned into brown thing. Biting his lip the youngish blonde allowed himself to be pulled in one direction.

Ouchy ouchy. Vanitas's grip on her hair was extremely painful. She wanted to tell them but William said know. That and it seemed like they were all busy. "Vani let me go!" Never said she could do a good job at copying other people's personalities.

"Wait wah-!" A shift in motion and he (with dearest Ventus of course) met the floor with a loud thump. Needless to say he was ready to rip of Vanitas face. 'Blody jerk is going to pay when Lexa isn't here to watch!' Rubbing his nose he didn't pull his face backup off the floor.

Okay this must of been really hard for William by now. "Lexa what happened?" Glaring half heartily at Vanitas while tugging at the back of Williams shirt. Something was defiantly up not.

Coming in through a Dark Corridor the Nobody settled himself against a wall. Sora and Riku would end up being here. He'd have to keep it quiet not be noticed but he wanted to help out. They wouldn't say no to him anyways. All of them had swooned over his ability to wield key blades in a dual style anyways.

Lexa

I sat in absolute shock. My mind was a complete blank. What the hell! I waited for Vanitas to come back. Oh, he was going to find out and then...I looked over at Sephirix. Oh, man, this was not good, not at all; if Vanitas ever found out.

A very vivid image of Vanitas blowing up in Sephirix's face and going psycho popped into my head. I shook my head. Vanitas had to stay in the dark about this, but that wasn't to say I was going to let it happen again. This time, I was unprepared, next time, he'd get a taste of my right fist. I just hated feeling so unfaithful....

Something fell down my face. "Lexa?" Sephirix said. I shook my head. "Just...leave me alone." I said. "Lexa, are you alright?" He asked. "Just leave me the hell alone." I replied. "Lexa, you can still talk to me." He said. "Sephirix, if you don't shut the hell up, I'm going to blow up in your face. Literally. There's a gas stove over there and I'm not afraid to use it." I glared at him. He stopped talking.

Vanitas entered the room, William and Ven in tow. He raised his eyebrows as he saw my distressed look. "You're telling me later." He mouthed.

The King entered, followed by Roxas and Namine. "Where's Xoncron?" I asked. "He's coming." The King said. Xoncron entered the room followed by, not two, but three people. Sora and Riku entered, followed by-

HOLY. KINGDOM. HEARTS. THE MAN THAT SEXY NEVER LEFT. MY TIED-TO FIRST PLACE FAVORITE KH PERSON.

Axel entered the room. He looked at me first, then back to Vanitas. "So, this is Lexa?" Axel said. Vanitas nodded, grinning as he noted my expression. "Nice to meet you, Lexa. I heard you're a really big fan of mine." Axel said. I nodded, freaking out to much for words.

"So, let's get down to business." Vanitas said, regaining some order in the room. "You've all been informed of what our situation is?" Vanitas looked about the room. "Alright, then. We need a plan. Lexa here has an excellent sense of intuition and it's never been wrong once. Someone is planning to really mess up the worlds; who, we have no idea. All we know is something must be done. Sora, you've got the most experience on this. Suggestion?"

"Umm..." Sora said, thinking for a minute. "We need to go through the worlds and see if we can find anything out. While we are doing that, we can make sure that C.O. or Organization XIII isn't spreading Heartless or Nobodies, or messing with the Keyholes or the Princesses." I nodded. "That's sounds about right." I said. "Alright, then. All in favor?" Vanitas said. Everyone except Sephirix raised his hand.

"Okay. We need to divide into groups. I know me and Lexa are sticking together." Vanitas said. "What other groups do we have?" William spoke up. "Me and Ven and Roxas." She said. "Okay." Vanitas said. "That's one. Who else?" Mickey spoke up next. "I'll go with Sora and Riku." He said. "Okay. That leaves Sephirix, Xoncron and Lea. I take it you are going on your own, Lea?" Lea nodded. "Okay, then. Any objections?" Vanitas said. "I have one." Riku spoke up.

Oh, no. He's about to confront Vanitas on being a darkness user. Oh, Christ. Riku walked right up to Vanitas. "How are we supposed to know you aren't going to stab us in the back when we aren't looking?" Riku said. "What is that supposed to mean, Riku? That's a lot coming from you." Vanitas said. I saw it coming; Vanitas was going to freak out. I stood up and grabbed Vanitas's right arm. "I've turned away from the darkness; have you?" Riku said, narrowing his eyes. "I'm not sure Lexa made a good decision in giving her heart to you." Vanitas looked back at me and did the right thing: grabbing my arms as I blew my top.

"OH, THAT'S SO LOW, COMING FROM YOU, RIKU! HE'S NOT THE ONE WHO CAUSED WHOLE WORLDS TO BE DESTROYED! HE'S NOT THE ONE WHO WAS KIDNAPPING PRINCESSES! HE'S NOT THE ONE WHO WAS BLINDLY FOLLOWING DiZ! HE WASN'T THE ONE WHO ALLOWED HIMSELF TO BE POSSESSED BY XEHANORT! HE'S -" Vanitas shifted so he could shut me up before I said something really bad. "As you can see, Lexa is rather touchy about certain subjects, me being one of them." Vanitas said. I nodded, shooting daggers at Riku

. "And on that note, we really should be going. Let's go!" Axel said. Everyone filed out of the room, except for Vanitas and me.

"Okay, I leave and you are recovering from your panic attack. I come back and you are having second one. What happened?" He asked. "..." I kept silent. "Lexa, you can tell me anything, you know that, right?" He said. "I know...I just don't want to talk about it right now." I said. "Okay. Whenever you're ready. Are you ready to leave?" He asked. "Yeah, let's go tell everyone good-bye." I said.

I gave Xoncron a big hug as he left. "Take care of yourself." Xoncron said and tightened his grip. "XONCRON-CHOKING-NOT-BREATHING!" I gasped out. Xoncron laughed and let me go. "I'm going to miss you." I said. "Miss you, too." Xoncron said. "Take good care of her." Vanitas nodded.

Sephirix walked up and hugged me next. "Remember: secret." He whispered in my ear. My heart stopped as he moved back. "Later." He put on a pair of shades and mounted his bike. "Let's go!" Vanitas said, summoning his Glider. I climbed up and out into the world we went.

Xero

"DAMMIT!" I threw a wrench as the machine failed for the fifth time that day. "Trust me, the feeling's mutual." Dark-Xon said as he glared at the machine. I kicked the machine. "Stupid hunk-a-junk!" "Easy." Dark-Xon said."Let's do an examination, and we'll try again.

After what seemed like forever and a day, we stopped tweaking it. "Alright, let's try it again." Dark-Xon fired it up. We waited as the machine warmed up. It didn't stop as  it passed the point where it usually failed. Electricity sparked between the different points on the machine. I hear a deep hum suddenly resonate from it, feeling a rapid increase of the presence of darkness.

"YES!" Dark-Xon yelled in triumph. "It works!?" I said. "HELL, YES!" He yelled again, fisting the air. "WHOO!" I yelled. After so much hard work had been into this, we finally got it up and running. So caught up in the moment, I grabbed Dark-Xon by the face and kissed him.

Vanitas

Something was up with Lexa. Why wouldn't she tell me...unless she thought it would upset me. I had to know; I couldn't stand seeing her hurt like this. Her negativity was high. Why was she so sorrowful? I landed in the first world I saw, which happened to be the Enchanted Dominion, deep in the forest. I helped Lexa down from the Glider.

"Lexa, we need to talk." I said. "About what?" She said. "You know damn well what I'm talking about." I answered. "Lexa, you are freaking out. Why?" "I'm fine." She replied. "Liar." I shook my head. "Lexa, what are you hiding? Please, all I want to do is help you. You know you can tell me anything. Please, Lexa." I pleaded.

She looked at me with tear-filled eyes. She ran into my embrace, crying into my chest. I held her close, protecting her from the outside world. "Vanitas, I c-c-can't." She sobbed. "Lexa, I'll do anything to make you feel better. I told you right from the get go: slave for life, remember?" I tried to cheer her up. "Vanitas.....promise me you won't get mad, or act violently, or freak out, okay?" She said and looked up. "On my word as Keyblade Bearer, I swear to your term." I said. "Okay..."She said.

Through her freaking out, I managed to get the whole, horrifying story. I'd left her alone with that creep. What would have happened if I hadn't come back sooner? That is a thought that haunts me to this day.

I'd failed her. Utterly failed her. I promised to keep her safe by taking this path and I'd broken that promise. "Oh, Lexa." I held her even tighter. "I'm sorry; so, so, so sorry." I said. "It wasn't your fault." She said. "It is; I shouldn't have left you alone, especially after him flirting with you. I should have suspected...." I looked away from Lexa, unable to bring myself to see her eyes.

"Vanitas, I'm sorry." She said. "Why the hell should you be sorry?" I said, taken aback. "I...I shouldn't have told you." She said. "No, Lexa, you did the right thing. If you hadn't...." I shook my head at the thought. "Are you mad?" She asked. "Infuriated. But not at you." I said. "You're not going to go after him?" She said, looking afraid.

Oh, that was exactly what I wanted to do. But if she didn't want me to...."No. I'm not. However, I think it wise that we warn Xoncron about how out of control his...friend is." I said. "You can't let him know I told, okay?!" She was so absolutely scared. "Lexa, that's not helping. Calm down. Would I ever let anyone touch you? Especially after this? No. I'm never ever going to let anyone hurt you. I swear it." I held her face with one of my hands.

"Now, how about a smile?" I asked. She tried, weakly. "Really?" I said. "I'd thought you'd be over the moon after meeting your role model. Honestly, I'm glad I got you first." "Huh?" Lexa said, confused. "Because, by the way you were staring at Axel, I would have been very jealous. And probably would told him, 'Hey, see that girl over there? You keep a good distance from her or else.' " I said. She smiled a little. "Or else what?" She asked. "I've learned it's best to keep 'em thinking." I said, grinning. She laughed.

"That's my girl." I said. "You're so beautiful, you know. And not because you're hot. Don't get me wrong, you have an amazing-" She laughed at me stuttering. "Vanitas, just say what's in your mind." She said. "I think...the reason why so many want to mess with you is because you are just so true to your heart and some just can't stand that." I said. "...You think so?" She asked. "I know so." I said. "Thank you, Vanitas." She hid her face in my chest again. "Oh, and I prefer assistant to slave, 'kay?" She said. "I think I can handle that." I said.

I might have been forbidden to kick that idiot's ass, but that wasn't going to stop me from making his life hell.

“What’s up with you?” Xoncron asked me.

“Pardon?” I smiled.

“You and Lexa have been acting weird for a bit now,” Xoncron went on, “so I’m gonna ask now: what did you do to her Rixec?”

“Sephirx,” I said coolly. “You’d best remember that Xonny. I am my own being.”

“You’re no different from any Heartless, Nobody, Unversed, or Dream eater,” Xoncron scowled.

“Oh, I am very different,” I grinned. “Tell me, what do you think of this universe?”

“It’s a KH’s fan’s dream come true,” Xoncron answered. “Other than the stuff trying to kill us.”

I laughed, “Yes, yes, but I mean physically. Is this universe real or a collection of data? You did come through a computer after all.”

“I guess I never thought about it,” Xoncron replied.

“Then think of this: what if this is all data?” I said. “What if you and the others are the only real things here? Then things like Lexa and Vanitas being together is real making out with data.”

“Then what about you?” Xoncron asked.

“I’m probably the most real and unreal thing here,” I smirked. “I was made from Sephiroth and Rixec, the latter of which is real. So that makes me more real than everything else here.”

“Yeah yeah, you’re a real philosopher,” Xoncron stated, annoyed. “Now tell me about Lexa!”

“Fine,” I grinned. “I kissed her.

Xoncron gaped at me as he tried to process what I said. “You what?”

“Kissed her, on the lips,” I laughed. “It was very nice.”

Xoncron grabbed my collar and threw me against the wall. “You better stop messing around with my friends or else I’m gonna…”

“Messing? Heh, didn’t it occur to you that my feelings might be real?” I asked him. “That makes me different from the ones I’m made from. Neither of them had anything for Lexa so what I feel proves I am myself. Not Sephiroth, not Rixec. Just me. Sephirix.”

“You say this universe might be data, so what about the data part of you?” Xoncron inquired.

“Hard to say, but maybe I’m more real than data,” I said. “Physically, I look like Rixec, so maybe I’m more real than data.”

“Then what would happen to you if you went back to our world?” Xoncron asked.

I removed his hands from my collar and said, “Who knows. But or the time being, I am myself and I am here.”

“Maybe not for long,” Xoncron said. “If Vanitas realizes what you’ve done he’ll kill you, or at least make your life hell is Lexa stops him.”

“I’m not scared of him,” I laughed.

A sharp pain went through my head and I crouched down as I clutched my head.

Can’t believe you did that!

Very interesting. You’ve developed feelings, so what happens now?

You might feel something for Lexa, but she’s still dating Vanitas – God knows why – so you probably look like a creep to her.

Then you should eliminate all obstacles and take what you want.

There’s a better path. But what’ll become of us in the end?

“No,” I groaned weakly.

“What’s up with you?” Xoncron asked, surprised.

“Just be quiet!” I snapped. I tried to calm myself, to make the voices cease. What was happening to me? It was getting worse, splitting my head in half. I had to calm it down, but how? Cocoa? Will that work? No – I’m still agitated. Fighting, think of those you’ve beaten – Argh! Think! What’ll calm you? What?

Lexa popped into my mind and I remembered the warmth of her lips, of the fast beating of my heart. My pain was subsiding, my emotions calming down. Lexa, you amazing girl.

Once things quieted down I stood up, shakily. “I’m me,” I said. “No matter how I came to be or what I am, I am me. I’m not going to lose all I have.”

“Sephirix,” Xoncron said, “what is going on?”

“Wish I knew Xonny,” I grunted. “Wish I knew.”

“You should not have a bike this cool,” Xoncron said as we arrived at Radiant Garden.

“Yeah, and we should have gone to check a different world, but we all can’t have what we want,” I grumbled as I hopped off.

“What do you have against coming here anyway?” Xoncron asked.

“Well, let’s say there was a complication here recently,” I hummed.

“You started a fight, didn’t you?” Xoncron said flatly.

“In my defense, they attacked first,” I exclaimed. “I was waiting for…”

“Cocoa?” Xoncron suggested.

“See? You really are starting to get me,” I said gleefully.

“Who’d you fight anyway?”

“Oh, Leon, Yuffie, some cannon fodder, Cloud,” I listed off.”

Xoncron stopped where he was and gaped at me. “You fought all three of them and made it out okay?!” he exclaimed.

“I’m not the same as the guys I’m made from,” I said. “I’m better.”

“That’s debatable,” Xoncron sighed.

“I agree,” a new voice called out.

Xoncron and I looked up to see Xoncron’s evil self, Xero, Ansem Seeker of Darkness, and …

“Vanitas?!” Xoncron yelled in shock.

“No,” I said calmly. “It’s not. Look closely.”

The figure looked like Vanitas, but he wore gray and black and his yellow eyes were paler and his hair was a lighter shade of black. “Mind telling us his origin?” I asked.

“The heart can be a dangerous thing for someone like Vanitas,” Xero laughed. “All that negative emotion isn’t that good. You’d be surprised how it can manifest.”

“Interesting,” I said.

“If you’re here to fight, then we’ll take you!” Xoncron yelled as he called out his Keyblade.

“Relax Mr. Hero,” evil Xoncron said. “We’re not here for you. Today, anyway.”

I sighed disrespectfully; why was it always me?

“If you want to fight then I’ll fight,” I said. “But not here.”

“I think I know the perfect place,” the other Vanitas said.

A portal to darkness opened at my feet and I was sucked through. However, I was able to make my way through with ease and when I landed I was in the Keyblade Graveyard. “Fitting,” I smirked.

I saw evil Xoncron, Xero, Ansem SOD, and other Vanitas – I’ll call him Vain – appear on a clift above me. Vain said, “I hope you like TV.”

He snapped his fingers and silver lights appeared in the sky. They were of different worlds with the people looking into them. I saw Xoncron, Lexa, Vanitas, the King, and so many others. Some seemed to be speaking but I couldn’t hear.

“Attention worlds,” Vain spoke, “it has come to our attention that you think yourselves protected. And why? Because a few idiots wielding giant keys are popping up like the flu? Well, we’re here to show you why they don’t matter; why their era ended long ago. Oh, and for any would be heroes who try to come here, don’t bother. This world is cut off for the time being; so kick back and watch!”

A headache suddenly hit me and I heard the voices again.

Get out!

Show them who’s the master.

Ansem suddenly teleported behind me with his huge Heartless in tow and smacked me in the head and sent me flying into a stone wall. “Rule number one,” Vain said, “those with the power make the rules.”

I yelled as I pulled out my guns and started firing at Ansem. Seven small Heartless appeared and blocked the bullets with their existences and evaporated. Before I could fire again evil Xoncron appeared in front of me and punched me with and uppercut, sending me flying up. Xero jumped down and fired a blast of darkness, hitting me head on. I crashed into the ground as Vain said, “Rule number two, hypocrites such as this one here aren’t any good for anyone, so it’s best to do away with them.”

You need help!

Give them despair.

I jumped high into the air, splitting the ground as I did and summoned One-Winged Angel. I swung it toward vain but another giant Heartless appeared and knocked me back down. Ansem appeared behind me and grabbed me; I struggled but I couldn’t escape his clutches.

Don’t sit there!

Don’t be a wekling.

Xero appeared in front of me, wielding Bond of Flame. She started slashing my chest repeatedly, a fire starting to spread. I roared, sending out a shockwave that blew her and Ansem away from me. But evil Xoncron fired a fireball of darkness at me and knocked me to the ground. A dark light appeared around his Keyblade and he started slashing and beating me. I could still feel the burns at my chests, the blood flowing out of me now. He struck me across the face, and I felt my nose pop as blood went flying. I grabbed my gun and fired, hitting evil Xoncron in the shoulder. He went flying and I shakily stood up. A Parasite Cage Heartless jumped at me and held tight. It was trying to force me inside it. My vision was starting to fade from the lack of blood.

“Rule number three,” Vain laughed as Xero lunged at me and set fire to my sleeve, “no more heroes. Take heed; silver hair here’s the first, but if any of his key-wielding cronies show up to avenge him, they’ll get worse. I promise. The heart has failed.”

I threw Xero away from me and started running at Vain, wielding my Keyblade tightly.

His eyes started to glow gray and I felt my mind starting to split further.

Thfjfagfddhsdfrfgsdgdgjaetilcbmyf!!!!

I fell to the ground and rolled until I ended up at Vain’s feet. I tried to stand, to speak, but my mind was bonkers!

“What? No wit, no bad-assery?” Vain laughed. “Oh wait, you’re in the middle of a seizure. Sorry, I can’t read you train wreck of a mind but I sure as hell came make hell with it and your life.”

His eyes became brighter and I started writhing in agony, blood spilling out of my eyes and ears. I was defenseless to do anything as I was ripped apart from the inside as the worlds watched.

“It’s funny,” Vain said, “two lives of good, evil, justice, vengeance, and the heart, and in the end you die alone here on in the Graveyard. And tomorrow, everyone will move on as you fade away. Do it.”

I looked up to see Xero, evil Xoncron, and Ansem looking down with smirks on their faces. Darkness was swelling up in their hands and they all yelled as they sent it all flying down as Vain walked away. I yelled in excruciating pain as the power coursed through my body, my senses and mind leaving me. My body twisted in ways I didn’t think possible, my eyes feeling like they’re about to pop. And then the explosion happened.

Vain

I grinned as the dust cleared and saw only a strip of black cloth left where Sephirix had been before. Vanitas had wanted to give him hell and I certainly did before ending it. Norcnox came up to me and said, “I hope you know how to fill the position he was needed for.”

“Don’t worry,” I laughed as I picked up the cloth. “You know, why is it no matter how badly you %^&$ these guys over, some unmentionable survives?”

“Did the best we could,” Xero grinned as she kissed Norcnox on the cheek.

“At least it’s over,” Ansem smirked.

“Is it?”

Everybody and I turned at the sound. “Impossible.”

“No, nothing could have survived that,” Xero said. “That was like twenty black suns exploding in his heart.”

“He’s here, but where?” Norcnox asked.

“Keep your eyes out,” Ansem said.

“I finally get what you’ve been selling. So allow me to join in the fun.”

A blade of light shot out of nowhere and we were all sent flying. We hit the cliff walls and looked to see Sephirix, bloody, beaten, and broken, but smiling crazily, his left hand full of darkness and his right with light, like two fuses about to go off.

“Rule number four,” Sephirix said. “I %$^&ing always win.”

Lexa

I stared in horror as I watched them pound upon Sephirix. "Lexa, that's my Remnant. I was going to tell you sooner: I noticed today that he was gone. Now I know why." Vanitas said, his voice expressing how I was feeling inside. "Lexa, we need to go now!" Vanitas said. "What about the princess?" I asked. "Took care of it, now let's go!"

"Ready to leave?!" Vanitas asked. "Yeah." I said. Vanitas summoned his Glider. We started to leave when Vanitas grasped his head. "Ow, ow, ow. Have to land!" He made an emergency landing. "Vanitas!?" I asked. He sat for a moment, holding on to his head, then stopped. "Remember how I told you I'd lost my Remnant?" He said. "Yeah?" I said. "Found him. He's created himself a new identity: Vain. Your friend is in big trouble-we have to go." Vanitas grabbed me up and we set off.

"Where are we going?" I asked. "Someplace safe, preferably." He said. "Wait, who's in trouble!?" I asked. "It doesn't matter-" Vanitas stopped in his tracks. "Scratch that, it does matter, but we can't do anything for him; all we can do is- SH!T!" Vanitas jerked his Glider back as a Hunter-X appeared and nearly knocked the Glider out of the air. "GO!" Vanitas summoned a bunch of high-leveled Unversed. "Stall that thing for as long as possible!" Vanitas ordered.

Vanitas took off in the opposite direction. "Whatever you do, don't let go! I'm turning up the speed!" He yelled. "Go!" I answered. I hid my face in his shoulder as the wind whipped my hair around. "Lexa, you know somewhere we can go?!" He asked, panicking.

Vanitas is panicking.

Things have just gotten so much worse.

"Umm..." I thought fast. "There's an old mansion in Twilight Town; It's too close to The World That Never Was for them to suspect! There's a dark corridor we can close up there to make it safe!" I yelled. "Then, that's where we are going!" He said. He landed directly in front of the mansion. He grabbed my hand and almost dragged me in, closing the doors behind us and locking them with Void Gear.

"Vanitas, what's going on?!" I asked. "After they are done with Sephirix, they're after you. I'll burn in hell before they lay a finger on you." He said and started barricading the outside doors. "Vanitas, I don't understand." I said as I watched him and his Unversed reinforce the mansion.

"I really don't, either. I got only one line of thought from that damn Remnant as I tried to free myself of the pain. She's next. You, Lexa. That's why I'm freaking out. Don't worry, I've sent out countless Unversed to protect the worlds and your friends. They're in safe hands."

I had a miniature panic attack. "What about Xoncron?" I asked. "He's okay, I've sent word for him to join up with Sora and his gang. They also know about how they're after you; Xoncron agrees, you need to be kept safe." He said as he analyzed the house. "But, what about-"

"LEXA!" Vanitas grabbed me by the shoulders. "Just...humor me, okay? Things just got very real out there. For Ansem to be with Xero means Organization XIII has allied with C.O." Vanitas said and let go. "Not with Marluxia and Larxene, that's for sure." I said. "Which means they must have been ousted." Vanitas said. "True." I said.

"Lexa, promise you won't play hero and leave without me. If I was to lose you..." Vanitas held me close. "Same here." I said. "There's one thing I know, though..."Vanitas said. "Hmm?" "If they're allying with their enemies...they're getting desperate." He said.

We both jumped at a knock on the door. "HEY! OPEN THE DOOR!" I heard someone yell. Vanitas quickly unlocked the door and pulled him in, re-locking the door.

"I thought I'd never make it in time." Axel brushed himself off. "What happened to you?" I asked. "I had a rather unfortunate chance of meeting a very angry Larxene. Apparently, she'd had enough of traitors for one day." He said. "Wow. Where's Marluxia?" Vanitas said. "Hell knows." He answered and walked out of the room.

"Well, looks like we're pinned down here for a bit. You mentioned a dark corridor?" Vanitas said. "Yeah; one that leads directly into the Organization's HQ." I said. "You didn't think to mention this sooner?!" Vanitas said. We both ran down into the computer room and entered the opposite Twilight Town. "There it is." I said, pointing at it. Vanitas quickly closed it and we exited the fake Twilight Town.

"I sure hope that everyone's okay." I said. "They'll be fine. Trust me." Vanitas said. "You sure?" I asked. "Positive." Vanitas answered. "Well, that's surprising, coming from you." I grinned. "Oh, ha, ha, ha. That was so funny, I forgot to laugh." Vanitas replied. "Smartass." I said. "Yes, your ass is very smart." Vanitas replied, smirking. "Perv." I rolled my eyes. "Hey, can't deny I don't like what I see."

Norcnox

This was the second time I had Xero up against the wall. Only this time my dark tendrils were around her heart and attacking her nervous system.

"WHAT THE BLOODY HECK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" I yelled in my rage.

"I'm-m-m... s-sorry! I... jus..t," She replied while crying out in pain.

"Let me make one thing clear," I hissed. "Love and compassion are two weaknesses I don't share with Xoncron. If I were you I'd remember that the next time you think about kissing me."

With that I let her go. Xero fell to the floor panting and clutching her chest.

"Now get yourself ready. We have to find Ansem SoD and Vanitas's remanent," I said.

"Yes sir," Xero said bitterly as she left to tend to her wounds.

The plan was coming together perfectly. Me, Xero, Ansem SoD, and Vanitas's remanant would beat Sephrix to a bloody pulp to further advance his degration. Then Xero and I would kidnap Vanitas and Lexa and put them in separate perils. Then I would reveal to Xoncron the locations of Vanitas, Lexa, and the machine that could stop Sephirix's degration, the only that could stop it, and save Rixec's life, and force Xoncron which one of three to save.

Vain

I ducked down as a Heartless jumped at me. I wasn’t aware that Sephirix could summon these guys; Ansem was also p!ssed about that. Apparently Norcnox made a wrong move when he attempted to make Rixec fall into Darkness.

“This is crazy!” Xero yelled as she sent a ring of fire at Sephirix.

Sephirix swiftly moved aside and swung his Keyblade. The shock that emanated sent Xero and Ansem flying, electricity cackling off their bodies.

“I can no longer tell if my plan is working,” Norcnox hissed.

“Oh evil Xoncron, you perspicuous twit,” Sephiix said gleefully.

Sephirix summoned a giant Heartless and it threw itself onto Norcnox, exploding. The impact sent me flying as well and I hit the rocks hard. Once the dust had cleared I looked up to see the gaping crater in the ground, Norcnox barely alive.

I looked at Sephirix and realized he had been playing around since his creation. He had never gotten serious until now; it was horrifying and thrilling. I summoned my Keyblade and rushed at him.

Sephirix

I had to beat these sons of bitches down once and for all! I clashed blades with Vain and grinned as I pushed forward a teeny bit. That force knocked his Keyblade out of his hand and I put my right hand, glowing with light, up to his chest. “Boom boom,” I laughed as it exploded, leaving a cloud of dust in front of me.

Vain fell backwards, bleeding badly. He called back his Keyblade and struck the ground, using it to stand.

“I thought this is what you wanted?” I sneered as I started walking toward him, my Keyblade skidding the ground.

“Sephirix!” evil Xoncron called out as he rushed at me.

He hit me in the side and sent me flying back, but I quickly recovered before I could hit the stone wall. “Well la dee da,” I laughed. “You still think you’re gonna win.”

“I have won,” he growled.

“Well then, why don’t I just – ugh!” I gasped. Something was wrong with me. My mind felt like it was getting worse and better at the same time.

WrySefg need to go!

Even I must admit this does us no good at the present time.

Get out of here before you kill us all!

I breathed in and out slowly as I raised my Keyblade to the sky and fired a beam of light. Their shielding broke apart and I summoned my black feathers to get me to a haven.

“Not long now,” I heard evil Xoncron laugh weakly as I left.

Xero

I glared down at the floor. Dark-Xon was becoming too out of control. Most would agree: once he usefulness had ended, he needed to be terminated, if he couldn't keep his temper down. I wouldn't call it love, either. I agreed with him on that: love was weak. That, oh-so-mistaken one, was lust. A very negative emotion, indeed. I needed to react to such emotions. Love, hah! Lexa could keep that to herself; I had no use for it. It wasn't my fault that that idiot couldn't tell one from the other, even if the two were so different.

Hijacking Vanitas's Remnant was easy enough. However, convincing Ansem...

"Come on! You really think that Xehanort's really going to-" Ansem looked at me with amused contempt. "Fine. Perhaps we can work something out with the Old Man." I sighed in annoyance.

Turns out the Old Man had wanted to meet me all along. "Welcome, Xero. How I have waited to meet you." He said as I entered the Grey Area. "You seem to be in worse condition that I remember." He said. "I had a...misunderstanding with Xoncron's dark side." I said and sat down. "Ah. Care to explain?" He said. "Idiot doesn't know the difference between love and lust." I muttered.

"So, you do work as Vanitas did, yes?" He asked. "Better than that half-baked moron." I rolled my eyes. "Excellent." Xehanort grinned. "Perhaps we can form a deal." "What did you have in mind?" I asked. "Oust Larxene and Marluxia and ally with us. We'll let you two do as you please, just as you are allied to us. Think of it as a mutual benefit for both of us: we both gain new allies, you can get rid of some old trash, and together, we'll gain the worlds. Do you agree?" He asked. "No strings attached?" I said. "Smart girl. Absolutely no strings attached." He said. "Old Man, you've got yourself a deal." I said and shook his hand.

I walked back to Dark-Xon, who was doing last minute checking of the machine. "If I make your day, will you allow me to explain something?" I said, leaning against the door frame. "What, Xero? I'm rather busy." He said, irritated. "Well, getting that Remnant was unbelievably easy. As for convincing Ansem...." I paused for effect. "What would you react if I told you we had the whole Organization and their assets on our side?" I said.

"You what?" He turned around. "You heard me." I said. "I sweet-talked the Old Man into a pretty good deal.  All we gotta do is get rid of those idiots upstairs and we have access to everything they have." I said. "Are you serious?" He said, surprised. "Yep. Have I made your day?" I said. "Not really. All the same, what is it that you want to explain to me?" I walked out of the door-frame and summoned Binds of Darkness. "Easy, I'm not going to attack you." I said and began, walking toward him.

"See how fundamentally different this is from Lexa's is? Her Bond of Flame is so light and bright, and colorful, radiating fire and song. Mine, however-" A dark flame burst from the hand holding it. "My Binds of Darkness is darkness and shadow and black, radiating darkness and sorrow. Thus is our differences." I said, standing close to Dark-Xon. "Lexa can feel love and compassion." I got closer, putting my face close to his. He glared threateningly.

"I ,however, feel the opposite. I feel lust and cruelty." I explained. "It's only natural that I react to such negativity." He looked amused. "Is that so?" He asked. "Yep." I said.

"In honesty...if I was about as powerful as you...the worlds would have so much more to fear." I said. "Really?" He said. I grinned and nodded. Dark-Xon moved back and shook his head. "Too bad you'll never get there." He chuckled at my annoyed look. "Oh, nice job at ruining the mood." I said. "Later." He said. "We've got some trash to throw out."

Kicking out Marluxia and Larxene was also quite easy. Although....I kept going at Larxene for a bit longer than I think was necessary. It was just so hilarious to hear her so frustrated.

"Is it ready?" I asked Dark-Xon. "Yes. It is time." I grinned. "Those idiots aren't going to know what hit them."
