" wait i know this place" she said finally reconginizing twilight town.she stood up and ran towards one of the buildings.demy stood on a box and jumped onto the top of the building." HELLO IS ANY ONE HERE ANY ONE AT ALL" she yelled at the top of her lungs.she but her book away before pulling her keyblade out ready for some heartless to appear as she waited for a response.

The last tug she managed finally got the boy free as she and they tumbled back onto the stone that covered the area. "Ouch that one really hurt-" Forcing her head up from the pavement her eyes went wide as she finally figured out who the spiked blonde in front of her was. "I can't believe Ventus is in front of me. Actually i'm surprised Vanitas isn't involved so far-" Stopping herself from finishing the sentence she propped herself up before resting Ventus against her as she shook his shoulders. "Hey you alright kid? If you are please just say something, anything at all okay?"

The blonde shook slightly on his own actions before opening glossy blue eyes. "Wha- Where am I?" Blinking a few times he met looks with Rixku before tilting his head. "I'm Ventus but you can call me Ven. So what's yours?" 

The slightest hint of surprise crossed her face before she smiled kindly at Ventus. "Me? Well you can call me Rixku or William if ya want. As to where you are well I know this place is called Twilight Town." On the inside she was a fangirl moment before a deep blush appeared on her cheeks. "Um you mind getting off of me since well your awake now? I'm surprised the darkness hadn't engulfed you fully before I got here. Got any clue how you got here and well where you need to go?"

"I don't really remember it's fuzzy and I need to find my friends but um I don't have a clue where to start looking." He looked at the ground for a few more seconds before realizing the girl was blushing. That and the fact he was sitting on her. Quickly he jumped off her with a nervous smile. "Sorry."

I reassuring smile appeared on her face as she patted Ventus' shoulder. "I can help you out a little. I know somewhere where we might be able to find out just a little more about what's going on it you want Ven? I'd love to show you and it's not far away either." She felt like her usual self helping out her siblings and making them smile cause in truth Ventus was exactly like dealing with them.

The hope of being able to see his friends again was just great and the girl seemed friendly enough so what was the point in not taking the deal she had just gave him. "Okay then. Lead the way then Rixku!"

He was bouncing up in down in excitement and she was starting to wonder if she was going to regret this later on. "Fine then spaz attack just start running after me." With that she took of full speed toward the train station the blonde in follow.

I sighed, "Yeah...I'm getting that bad feeling too...I've dubbed it the Demyx Rule....in the event of dark forces you can't fight....'Run, run away'!" I laughed at that, glad to at least push out a joke or two in this dark moment.

"But, what do you mean by 'other feeling'?" I asked, tilting my head to one side. What Mist said interested me, I felt that if she was feeling sad, or soemthing along those lines, than I best help her with it.

Hrm....a bad feeling and something else....this isn't foreboding well. I thought, crossing my arms against my chest.

"Don't give me that look." I sighed and pointed to Merlin's house.

"Let's just go." I said and started to walk over to Merlin's.

"By the way it was just about my weapon." I said with a sigh and turned to face him.

"Why are we going here anyway?" I asked.

As we stepped off the train I worried about Lexa. Her string of bad luck was even worse than mine, and the lives of everyone in my family, including me, were governed by Murphey's law (That old saying that goes if anything can go wrong it will). Plus that nightmare Lexa had on the train. I could sense that it was no ordinary nightmare. It felt as if something demonic was at work. Whether Xehanort was behind Lexa's nightmare or if something else was I could not tell. At the rate things were going I knew it that soon I was going to have to reveal the full extant of my abilities Lexa and. . . Snow. I still didn't trust him. The situation wasn't this bad until Snow appeared. It did not seem like coincidence to me. We had just reached the entrance to The Mysterious Tower, all of what had just been stated having run through my head within the few seconds it took to get tho the entrance from the train, when something or someone hit me in the back of the head hard. The last thing I saw before blacking out was Lexa turning around to see what was going on.

 

 

"Ya know, friends can hurt as much as they help." I glared at the man behind Xoncron's lifeless form, Bond of Flame smoldering in my hand. "Says the half-blind old dude." I retorted. "As if." Braig snorted. "You've really got old man's coat in a bunch, you know that?" "So you call him Old Man, too?" I said. "Might I ask: the hell was that for?!" "Oh, him? Shawncron? Need you to be isolated. See how well you do on your own." Braig shrugged, then summoned his arrowguns. "It's Xoncron. 'Z' sound, not 'sh'. Got it memorized?" I said. "Whatever. Let's see how well you fight." 

 

I wasn't prepared whatsoever when the first shot knocked me into the barrier between Snow and me. I felt the wind rush out of my lungs. "I can't guess why the old coot would have so much interest in you. You're about as half-baked as the others were." Braig said. "Shut...the....hell...up....you....asshat..." I said and stood up. I quickly used a Cure spell, then went after Braig.

 

I'll dare say Xehanort was right in sending him after me: on every blow we met, every hit deflected. We both split apart, panting. "Not so half-baked after all?" I said. "Right on, kid." Braig grinned. "I've got this feeling the both of us are holding back. Come on; show me watcha got!" Braig broke into his limit, sending shots everywhere. I instinctively started sending out Fire spells, dodging out of the way. "Come ON, this definitely ain't your best!"

 

I gritted my teeth together. I was NOT going to lose to this jerk. I sent a blast of pure sound at Braig. He covered his ears. "THE HELL?!" he yelled, falling onto his knees. I walked over to Braig, a wide radius of fire swirling around.  I shoved Bond of Flame under his chin. "What the hell are you?!" he said. "I'm your f&ckin' nightmare." I said. "You asked for my best, well, there's more where that came from." I smirked. "Now you can be half-blind, half-baked, and half-deaf." I backed away.

 

Braig quickly retreated. I remained standing still. "Lexa, you okay?" Snow asked. "Yeah. I won, didn't I?" I said, grinning. "Yep." Snow replied. Xoncron recovered consciousness. "What happened?" Xoncron said immediately. "Lexa here kicked some massive ass, that's what." Snow said. "Whose?" Xoncron asked. "Braig." I answered.

 

"Ah. Speaking of kicking some ass-" Xoncron stood up and grabbed the front of Snow's shirt. "I need answers now, and I think you damn well have them." Xoncron said menacingly. "Dafuq?!" Snow said. "Oh, don't give me that: the sh!t didn't start hitting the fan until YOU showed up." Xoncron increased his grip. "Xoncron! Put him down!" I shouted. "Lexa, you've admitted it yourself that you are loyal to a fault. I'm not so sure if your "friend' here is who he claims to be." Xoncron retorted. Xoncron froze as he felt the tip of my blade hit his back. "Down. Now. I've also admitted that I really don't appreciate it when my friends are in danger. Xoncron, you are my best friend but I refuse to let you hurt Snow. So, please, before I blow up, Put. Him. Down." I said in a calm, cool voice. Xoncron slowly let go.

 

"Since there are some suspicions about you, Snow, keep guard." I said. "Oh, you are really gonna-" "I suggest shutting up; I'm not in the mood." I de-summoned Bond of Flame. I walked past the two of them without saying a word. I went through the door to the tower and just as Xoncron was going up the stairs, I slammed the door. I briskly walked up the stairs. "Come on, Lexa." Xoncron caught up to me. "You're not really that mad, are you?" I refused to look at him. "I'm not talking to you." I said. "But you just did-" I walked through the next door and slammed it in his face again. "Lexa, look, I'm sorry, okay?" Xoncron grabbed my wrist and spun me around. "Look, you're the only friend I have here, alright? I just don't want to see you get hurt." I looked away. I waited a moment. I then proceed to punch him in the gut. "Do that again, and it'll be worse."

Jumping on the train she sat down trying to relax her racing heart. "Okay i'm never ever gonna race you. How can a short kid go so fast anyways?" Relaxing further in her seat something popped up in her head as she turned to the smiling Ventus. "Can you remember anything at all? Wouldn't of someone had to of helped you?" Getting her legs on the seat she lied back ready to go to sleep for just a little while.

"I can't really remember anything except someone was there but it's fuzzy. I just hope my friends are alright-" A few tears to fall as he curled up on a seat directly across from Rixku. It was all so new to him after being asleep for so long.

Yet again her older sister instincts kicked in as she got up and sat next to Ventus. "It'll be all right." Pulling the young boy into her arms as he rested his head against her knees she began lightly brushing his hair with her fingers. "How about we both get some sleep for now? I think this trip will take a little bit of time." A nod was her only response as she got ready to fall asleep herself.

"I apologize, Lexa, but there has never been an event like this before in any recorded history." Yen Sid said. I looked down. "Do not despair; it is well enough you came to me. Much has happened as of late." I looked up. "So, what now?" I said. "My advice is to follow your heart. It will open the path to you." Yen Sid answered. "For now, rest. You two have been through much." "Yes, Master Yen Sid." Xoncron said.

 

I watched Xoncron sleep. He still looked like he was plotting, even in his sleep. I refused to sleep; I wasn't going to take ruining a good night's rest for Xoncron and Snow. I still couldn't believe that I'd managed to convince Xoncron into letting Snow inside. It was chilly outside. I had thought long and hard about my next move. There was only one decision that felt right. I reached into my coat and pulled out a pencil and notebook. I began writing furiously.

 

Xoncron and Snow,

 

I'm sorry for leaving you both like this, but nothing else makes sense. I could never forgive myself if I let Vanitas hurt you. I've got this feeling that I'm being watched very closely and I can't afford to have you either of you hurt because of it. Don't come looking for me; I'll be safe, alright? No matter what happens, DO NOT COME AFTER ME! I'm a walking bio-hazard. My heart is telling me what I must do. Let me do as it says, okay? I realize now that I'm meant to go alone on this journey. I'll keep the both of you close to my heart.

I was in silent tears by the end. I quickly shook them off. I tiptoed past Xoncron's and Snow's sleeping forms. I hurried outside to the brand-new gummi ship Yen Sid had called for us. I went inside the cockpit and started it up. I looked back once. I nearly stopped myself, but I hit the gas and got out of there as fast as it would go. 

 

"Where to now...." I said to myself. I was really glad that I was a pro at the gummi ship levels in KHII. Otherwise, I would have been freaking out. I felt my eyes suddenly droop. No, no, no, not now, not now! I lost myself to the blackness of dreamless sleep.

 

I re-awoke to the sound of someone else driving the ship. I sat up. "About time." I gasped. "You..." I said. "Just to answer the question you are about to ask, yes: I have commandeered your 'fine' vessel and, as such, you are mine." Vanitas stood up from the pilot's chair, grinning. I backed to the wall behind me. "Scared, Lexa?" he said, walking foward. Those eyes of his must have had some power behind them; I couldn't look away. I felt as if he were slowly gaining access to my innermost parts of my heart and mind. "Now, then: for someone who's so new to this world, you seem to know a lot." Vanitas pinned my arms above my head. He was close, WAY too close. "Abandoning your friends like that must have taken a lot of guts." I tried to make a coherent thought. "Well, I'll have time later for that..." He released me. I fell on my knees. I had to think fast: Vanitas could kill me at any moment. I was just lucky enough that Xoncron and Snow weren't with me.

(Of course I got to hightail you now. Ventus i'm gonna feel bad for him later on.)

She was shocked in all honesty. She wasn't the only KH13 member to get brought here and she already recognized a few of there names but she didn't want to bother the two asleep. She wanted to go after Lexa for taking off. "Ventus I think there's gonna be some trouble-" She sat on the step right outside of Yen Sid's tower as she processed what he had told her along with what the note had said but she had left it of course but now being the reckless idiot she was go after Lexa. "It might have Vanitas involved though but it's your-"

"Don't worry I can find my friends along the way. Anyways your friend probably needs help right? Well let's go!" In the inside he was screaming after finding out about Vanitas but Rixku was helping him so much well he had to help her. There was also the small fact Vanitas might already know about him but then again he might not. 

"Well here's the problem how are we going to catch them in the first place? NO Gummi Ship, no Dark Corridors, and how would I be able to travel with you on your glider?" A small dud alerted her attention as she turned her head. Silver armor sat next to her as she looked up with a smile. "Never mind then okay let's get going and thanks so much Yen Sid!" Slipping on the shoulder pad of the armor with the boots she looked at Ventus as she motioned him to bring out his keyblade. "You're gonna have to start this off okay?"

Nodding he activated his armor while Wayward Wind appeared in his other hand.Looking up he threw his keyblade before motioning to Rixku. "You gotta yours on two! We'll have t be really quick about this if we want any chance of catching them!"Three seconds later the silver armor identical to Ventus's appeared on her body minus the silver and red color pattern. "I never thought this would be possible-" Looking ahead she got ready to jump as Ventus grabbed her hand just in time before they both launched off full speed to catch up with Lexa and Vanitas. "Now let's go get them shall we Ventus?!"

"Don't give me that look." I sighed and pointed to Merlin's house.

"Let's just go." I said and started to walk over to Merlin's.

"By the way it was just about my weapon." I said with a sigh and turned to face him.

"Why are we going here anyway?" I asked.

I sighed, sticking my tounge out. "That's my normal face." I sighed,

"I thought we were heading to Merlin's because it seemed like a logical place for everyone to head to." I realized I had stopped, and walked a few feet, thinking. "Though now I get the feeling it might be a bad idea...I feel like we're wasting time."I began to walk more quickly now, that unshakeable feeling like we were missing out on something refusing to leave. "Let's hurry up, and we can worry about the absence of your weapon later."

I sighed. "Fine,since this place seems like a dead end. I could at least learn some magic." I said just trying to make a point to my own thinking.

"At least I can be of help in any fights then, in till this lag or whatever gives me my weapon." I give a sigh and make to Merlin's door and knocks. Once,twice,three times then he answers. "I come here along with my Friend to to a few questions and maybe learn some magic." I give my cutest smile.

I rolled my eyes, and sighed a bit. I approached Merlin, and tilted my head as I examined him. He looked exactly the same as he did in the games- blue robe and hat, the beard, glasses, and that curious look he gave; as if he was always expecting something new.

I did a sort of bow. "Merlin, hello. As Mist here said, we came here for answers. And magic- if possible. First...have you seen anyone else here? People kind of like us." I put my hands behind my head, in the manner Sora would do.

"Ah. Come in,come in." Merlin stepped aside to let us pass.

"Thank you." I said and bowed. I walked in his house and sat at a chair.

"Ah,ah,you too boy." He said and sat down in a chair too. "Now,you want to know if I have seen anyone like you two? I have quite a few just too day."

"That's helpful. Now about the magic..." I started off.

"In due time." He said and gave a wise smile.

I lent against a wall, not interested in taking a seat, "You know the names of them? We're trying to find them, we kind of got seperated." I said, sighing. It wasn't really seperation, we were just talking too much.

Magic... I thought, An interesting prospect. I wonder if Merlin teaches magic similar to Jade Curtiss's. I smiled at that, thinking of myself pulling off massive feats of magical strength, like summoning divine lightning, or trapping Heartless in a flaming prison.

I sighed at that, content with daydreaming for the moment.

Hazimie then watch the view at the Dark Margin and thought to himself."I wonder.....if i'm here.....that means...."Hazimie try summon a weapon on his hands and suddenly appears and it was a Keyblade."A Keyblade.....i got one too,huh.....oh well,it's time my journey will begin..."Hazimie said as he use the Keyblade to open the Corridors of Darkness and Hazimie enters.Then,Hazimie ended up at the Radiant Garden."Hmm....this should be do...."Hazimie said as he began to look around....

I closed my eyes to go to sleep, but it was a few minutes before I actually drifted off to sleep because of the bitter mode I was in. First I got sucked into the universe of Kingdom Hearts against my will. Then Braig got the drop on me (I'm usually not someone who be amushed like that), and that had caused me to lose my temper and reveal my suspicions about in worst possible way and earlier than I'm normally would have. Then Lexa got mad got the drop on me as well. Of course all the stuff that had been happening to Lexa also contributed to my fowl mood. I've never been a situation like this before, and believe me when I say that I've been in some real bad situations before. Plus I seemed to be really of my game today. Perhaps I had been following that old chinese man's advice, how a wise man should never reavel what he is fully capable of except in the most dire of circumstances, too much.

 

When I finally did drift off to sleep I found myself back at Dive to the Heart. I had been here once before when I completed the awakening, just before I woke up in Radient Garden. I hadn't let anyone now this because of that chinese man's adivce.

 

"You are the one who shall seal the way," a disembodied voice suddenly said.

 

"I remember that from last time," I said. "But I don't care about that right now. My friend needs my help."

 

"Yes she does," the voice replied "But to help her you must defeat the one you hate the most and find the bringer of light. Only then will you be able to gather the others, help your friend, and seal the way."

 

Then I woke up to see Lexa sneak out of the room, and the note she left behind. I picked up the note and quickly read it. As soon as I finished reading the note I heard the sound of the gummi ship outside takeing off. I quickly dashed outside shouting for Lexa to stop, but I was too late. As I watched the gummi ship disappear into the distance I let Lexa's note fall to the ground. I knew in my heart that she was makeing a mistake. In times like this one should never abandon thier friends no matter what, because I've always lived by the believe United We Stand, Divided We Fall. However, I also knew in might heart that I could no longer keep what all I could do secret.

 

I quickly press the pauldron on my left shoulder, and in flash of light my purple and black (with little bit of gray in a few places) keyblade armour appeared. Then I summoned my keyblade Way to Dawn and through it into the air. I started to run as Way to Dawn turned into a keyblade glider and came back down. I jumped into the air and my keyblade glider, which looked like a jet pack with two bat like wings, two bird like wings, and a demonic eye on the main body, landed perfectly on my back. Next thing I knew I was flying into an entrance into the lanes between that had opened up before me.

 

As I was flying in the lanes in between I knew in my heart what I now had to do. I had to find the light bringer, who was one of my oldest and closest friends. I had to find Rixec. However, I also had to defeat the one I hated most. He was my worst enemy, and I had no idea how I could defeat him.

I lent against a wall, not interested in taking a seat, "You know the names of them? We're trying to find them, we kind of got seperated." I said, sighing. It wasn't really seperation, we were just talking too much.

Magic... I thought, An interesting prospect. I wonder if Merlin teaches magic similar to Jade Curtiss's. I smiled at that, thinking of myself pulling off massive feats of magical strength, like summoning divine lightning, or trapping Heartless in a flaming prison.

I sighed at that, content with daydreaming for the moment.

At that I sighed."I feel it's something they must say themselves." Merlin said trying to sound wise.

"What all the wise crip for? It ain't gonna help no body." I said starting to get pretty mad. I just in the mood to go all the rounds. "Just skip to the past where for get some info. I mean I wonder Sora would feel if he knew?" At that Merlin sighed.

"Okay,okay. I'll teach you some magic. It's just that it's not a skill for everybody." He said. At that I gave a little smirk.

"I think...I have the guts to try." I said and puffed out my chest jokingly.

At that I sighed."I feel it's something they must say themselves." Merlin said trying to sound wise.

"What all the wise crip for? It ain't gonna help no body." I said starting to get pretty mad. I just in the mood to go all the rounds. "Just skip to the past where for get some info. I mean I wonder Sora would feel if he knew?" At that Merlin sighed.

"Okay,okay. I'll teach you some magic. It's just that it's not a skill for everybody." He said. At that I gave a little smirk.

I nodded at that, "I doubt I would be good at magical artes....but I'm gonna give it a try. If Sora, for goodness sakes, could learn magic just be equipping it, then I too should at least master Fire." I stood up, and straightened my back. I unslung the blade on my back, laying it one the floor.

"Won't be needing it for now." I muttered, lazily kicking it a bit to ensure it wouldn't fall or slide over. I turned my head to face Merlin, and held a very bored facial expression.

"Alrighty, Mr. Merlin, what magical goodness lies before us?" I asked, in a very silly voice, and I couldn't help but smile.

Where am I? I thought as the glowing screen grew fuzzy. Who am I?

 

I tried to open my eyes but darkness overcame me and I was forced to shut them again, back to the white screen. There was a jumble of letters on it.

I bellowed out as I felt slimy, bony hands grip me. I didn’t want to open my eyes, I wanted to let go and not feel anything! I didn’t know who I even was, much less what was happening! All I had was a jumble of letters and only one was complete; it didn’t even sound real though: Rixec.

 

Was that my name?

 

I gag as I feel my throat clenched; my air has been cut off as I feel myself dragged under some form of water. But it smelled rancid and it tasted like it was poison of some kind. I saw white flash through my mind before it turned black spattered with red take its place.

 

NO! I don’t want to die! Someone – anyone! – help  me!

My eyes bolted open and I saw myself in a pool of greet water, with people all around me. People who I could see through and kept clutching at me.

 

I rustle about, trying to shake them off me. I look down at my hands and see how frail and boney they are. Am I about to die?

 

C imb.

 

I shoot my head around as that voice appeared in my head again. Where had it come from? And what was it trying to say?

 

Climb!

 

I understood it now! I swam toward the rocky wall and started pulling myself up. It was inconceivable that I had to climb to get out of a pool, but this didn’t seem like an ordinary pool. I hold on tightly as I grab a new rock, pulling myself further up. I stop and clutch my heart. My slow, beating heart. I think my heart is about to stop!

 

CLIMB!

 

I bolt out of my fears and continue climbing. I have to reach the top. I have to reach the top! I can almost see it! I reach up and…

 

My heart gives out.

 

I start falling back down. No, not when I’m so close. I won’t let this happen…

 

My eyes shut as I hear the crude laughter of three hags.

 

And then the laughter stops.

 

My eyes bolt open once more as I am enveloped by a white light. It surrounds me and I look down at my hands to see them become young and smooth. My heart is beating normally and I feel as if I can finally speak!

 

“I’m not dying here!” I shout as the light pulls me up out of the pool. I feel myself land on solid ground and when the light disappears I see I am in a cavern of some sort.

 

I look down at the pool below, the pool full of people screaming up at me. “I’m sorry,” I tell them as I start walking.

 

“Who are you?!” three voices cry out at once and I jump a step back.

 

I look up to see three hags with gray skin and no eyes, save for the one the hag in the middle holds. “Who are you?” I shout at them. “Where am I? Who am I?”

 

“That is what we wish to know mortal,” the hag on the right screeched. “We see everything! Past!”

 

“Present!” the middle hag shouted.

 

“And Future!” the hag on the left whispered. “But we can see none of those for you.”

 

“And you should have died but,” the hag on the right said as she held up a glowing, silver piece of string, “as soon as we cut yours it tied itself back together and started glowing! You are mortal yet not a god!”

 

“God? What are you talking about?” I ask angrily. “Did you throw me into that damn pool?”

 

“We merely watch the fates for that is who we are! It was death at another’s hand that you ended up there. And yet you did not die. And so we ask again, who are you?”

 

I pause as I bite my lip. Even I wasn’t sure of that answer. I tried to remember but I had no memories to be found. How could I forget everything? There must be something!

 

My mind flashes back to the letters I saw in my mind on the white screen. It was all a jumble but only Rixec seemed to form something. “Rixec,” I answer. “My name is Rixec.”

 

A roar emanates through the cavern and I suddenly pale up. There was something eerily familiar about that sound. The three hags grin and laugh as the middle hag says, “You survived once. Let’s see you survive another.”

 

The three disappear as I look down the tunnel. Whatever was down there made me want to jump back into the pool. I swallowed hard and pulled a white hood over my head as I walk down the tunnel. I had to get out and find a way to recover my memories.

As I began my search for Rixec. I found myself in a familiar world.

 

"This is Traverse Town," I said to myself when I arrived in the first district.

 

"Well now, I never thought I'd see you again," A familiar voice suddenly said from behind me.

 

"Braig!" I said as turned around to face him.

 

"I guess you're tougher than you look," He said.

 

"I have a bone to pick with you about that," I said glareing.

 

"You've certainly got the angry look down like him," Braig mumbled, "Anyway I'd be more concered about Lexa right now"

 

"If you, Xehanort, or any of his croonies so much as harm a hair on her head you won't live to regret it!"

 

"As if. The old man has big plans for her," Braig said as he started to disappear into a corridor of darkness "Anyway be a good boy now."

 

I tried to stop him from leaveing so I could get more intell from him, but he was already long gone. I need to hurry and find Rixec so we could help Lexa. I searched all over Traverse Town leaveing no stone unturned, but there was no sign of Rixec. So I started to travel the lanes inbetween again. Soon I found the next world I would search. The Olympus Colisseum.

I pant heavily as I walk through the dark cavern. My steps felt heavier and my muscles seemed stiff. There was something about this place that was affecting me, but I didn’t know what it was. I turned right and came up to a rocky wall. I looked up to see a ledge and I started climbing up. I had to get out of this place!

 

I pulled myself up to the top and rolled over onto my back, sweating. I couldn’t believe I was this tired. I shakily stood up as the sound of a rock being kicked caught my attention. I sharply turned my head and looked into the darkness. “Hello?” I called. “Is someone there?”

 

I take a few steps forward, looking around at the walls and at the green pools. I licked my lips as I walked down; I knew there was someone – or something – down here. So why wouldn’t they show themselves.

 

I took another step and jumped back as I heard a screech from under my foot. I saw a shadowy blob on the ground that started rising up and forming shape. It was about one and a half, maybe two feet high with beady yellow eyes, droopy ears, and claws. The creature was pitch black in color and was now looking at me.

 

“Uh, hello,” I said awkwardly. “Can you understand me?”

 

The creature just continued to stare for a moment but then it crouched down and leapt up at me! I bent myself back as the creature flew over me, its claws just narrowly missing my face. I start running as the creature lands. I didn’t know what it was but it meant me harm; and I had no way to defend myself.

 

As I run down the cavern I see more shadowy blobs forming and turning into those creatures. They all keep rushing after me and I started slowing down. I then realized that I could hear some kind of music in my head; it was serious and edgy, and I realize it went with the danger I was in.

 

I fall to my knees as the creatures start rushing at me. “No. No! Stay away!” I yell as I swing my arm at the creature leaping at me.

 

There was a flash of light and I saw the creature turn into smoke as it cried out in pain. The rest of its kind stopped and looked at me before turning away. Whether it was in fear or to get at me another way I didn’t know. All that mattered was that they were gone.

 

My arm drops down and I look to see that it was because it was being weighed down. In my hand was – a sword maybe? I look closer and start to think it was a key – a key of all things! It was silver and ivory-colored with its shaft thin and smooth with a fleur-de-lis-shaped spike at its tip. The teeth were comprised by a pair of uneven, silver wings framing a broken, bright red heart. The base of the blade was adorned by a simple, grey heart, and the handle was black. The guard was decorated with two wings, the wing on the same side as the teeth far larger than the one on the other side. The chain at the bottom was silver and the item at the end of it looked like the teeth.

 

I stand up and swing the blade a few times. A sword that looked like a key was weird, but it seemed to scare those creatures away. I grip the blade tightly as I start walking again. I don’t know why but I suddenly felt better; I didn’t feel totally fine, but it wasn’t as bad as before.

Where ever Vanitas was taking me, it was going to take FOREVER. He refused to say another word to me other than, "Shut up, I'm driving." I had tried to make a few conversations; I admit more than one was pure fangirly-ness, but not the point. The point is, Vanitas was taking me far away from any help I could get. As the time extended, I noticed my back was throbbing slightly.

 

"Hey, can I ask you something?" I said casually from one of the copilot's chairs. "If it amuses you. I can't say if I'll answer." Vanitas smirked. "What the hell did you do to my back? I want to know so, if it gets infected, I'll know what to do." Vanitas turned toward me for the first time. "What?" he asked, eyes narrowed. "I didn't do anything. Show me." I pulled up my coat and shirt. "I...DEFINITELY did not do that."

 

I pulled my coat back down. Vanitas had turned back to the windshield, now with a contemplative look on his face. I giggled. "What?" Vanitas sighed in annoyance. "You look like Xoncron's 'plotting' face." "Hmph. You better save those memories..."Vanitas trailed off. "Ah, our destination." I looked out. "OH, HELL, NO!" I said as I saw The World That Never Was. I walked briskly to the back of the ship and summoned Bond of Flame. I then proceeded to stab the blade as hard as I could through the floor. I sat on my knees and gripped the blade as hard as I could. The ship landed and the doors opened. I glared at the floor as Master Xehanort boarded. "Welcome to your new home." Vanitas said, mockingly. "Vanitas, would you?" Master Xehanort said. Vanitas nodded, then walked toward me. I looked up. "Don't you dare." I growled. Like, LITERALLY, growled. Vanitas took a step back. "Master...?" "Now, Vanitas." Xehanort commanded.

 

Lexa!  Yeah, Voice in my head? Think of a song, anything you can use against him! You're in more danger than you know; your darkness is reacting to Vanitas's! That caught my attention. I panicked, mind blank. DO SOMETHING! My mind went into automatic.

 

A wave of fire erupted from my Keyblade as I thought of one of the most difficult projects I had ever done, and never finished: Through the Fire and Flames. "The hell?!" Vanitas leaped back. I rushed forward. Xehanort did the wise thing and moved the hell out of the way. I ran until I reached the Altar of Naught, Vanitas on my tail. "No where left to  run, Lexa! Give up!" I stood at the ledge of the tower. "Lexa!" A voice called down. I saw a Keyblade Glider with two people on it. "Oh, no." I said in dread, fires still burning bright. "Ventus!" Vanitas said, his attention turned away from me. Alright, let's see what I can do. I built up the flames, my feet rising briefly as I sent a wave of fire at the Glider, pushing it far, far, far away from Vanitas's grasp.The song stopped. I fell on my knees, panting. "YOU STUPID GIRL!" Vanitas shouted, infuriated. The last thing I saw before passing out were those burning, golden eyes grasping my shoulders as I fell into unconsciousness.

Before the glider was pushed away to far both jumped off barely landing on Alter of Naught as the glider faded away with the armor that was on both Ventus and Cassidy. "Okay Ventus i'll grab Lexa think you can deal with Vanitas for a while?" The determination in her eyes was unbelievable as her hands slid out both of her swords just slightly in case she needed to use them before grabbing Lexa. "Remember whatever he says isn't true. If you get the chance use some words of your own against him. Everyone has thigns they don't want to here about themselves."

In all honesty he was terrified right now but he hid that away. He was stronger than Vanitas that and the girl really needed some help. "I can do it. Just focus on getting your friend now. I'll make sure Vanitas doesn't get in the way." Looking at where Vanitas was with a glare Wayward Wind appeared in his hand as he pointed at Vanitas. "Leave her alone! I won't let you hurt anyone else again!" Running he launched Wayward Wind straight at Vanitas with it's blade coated in a strong amount of light.

Giving Ventus one last nod she started running slightly to the side in hopes of grabbing Lexa while Vanitas was dealing with Ventus. Already Ventus was running at Vanitas pounding him with his light covered keyblade. "Good god if only he did this in Birth by Sleep the final boss with him against Vanitas would of been so much easier on Critical Mode." Readjusting her focus she got next to Lexa as she shook her arm. "Hey Lexa it's me William! Wake up already I think we might need your help right now even with your Vanitas fangirl mind!" Half shouted and half pleading she kept on hand on a sword in-case Vanitas's attention went on her instead of Ventus.
