Kingdom Hearts: KHXIII (Roleplay)

Posted

Alright, let's get started!

I glared at the computer. "God, I hate you so God-awful much..." I scowled as the loading bar on my project move a millimeter. The first it had moved in about a minute.

"You. Fail. So. Much." I started swearing under my breath.

I tend to do swear (lovingly) to all my electronics, particularly when going after a boss battle. Except much louder.

I shook myself out of the errant thought as a blip noise came from my Google Chrome Browser. My eyes widened. "The admin...?!" Oh, dear Kingdom Hearts, what have I done? You know that feeling you get when you get called to the admin's office at school or work? Yeah, that about sums up my feeling as I open up the IM box.

A single link stood beside the DChuich's name tag. "O...kay...?" I clicked on it. The screen turned white. "Dafuq?!" I pressed Ctrl+Alt+Del. No dice. "Oh, Jesus Christ!" My thoughts went to my video projects. I hadn't backed them up. I went for the power switch. I stopped as I heard insane laughter resonated from my headphones. "Old Man?" I said. (<-This is my nickname for Master Xehanort.) I felt myself being pulled in. I gripped the edge of the desk. "NAH-UH! YOU WON'T PULL ME IN TO-"

I opened my eyes to see a blank, white platform. "Wha-"

Welcome, child. You know what you must do.

"Open the door." I said. The platform disappeared and the towering castle of Radiant Garden apppeared...along with several hundered people I had never met before.

Good luck!

Lexa

I stood, tapping my feet. Vanitas put his hand on my shoulder. "Lexa, you seriously need to take Sephirix's advice and chill out. Let us explain, okay?" He said. I looked up at him for a moment then sighed. "....Fine, but I'm still not happy."

"Well, we are." Rixec said. "Damn right we are." Sephirix said, grinning triumphantly. "Understandable." Xoncron added. "Why's that?" I said, tilting my head a bit. "Hmm, I wonder why - oh, yeah, you've been in a coma!" Rixec stated. "I have?" I said, bewildered, quickly turning alarmed. "How long?! What-" "It's a long story." Sephirix said. "With heartache." Xoncron added. "What did the four of you do?" I deadpanned, knowing they had most likely been up to something while I was away. "The group fell apart." Xoncron said. "You didn't do anything stupid, like go psycho and kidnap someone, did you?" I said. Every head turned toward Sephirix, who then proceeded to whistle rather innocently. "Not me. Recently." He said. I shook my head. "'Recently', Sephirix?" I said. "You know what, it doesn't matter."

"Rixec was framed for murder." Xoncron piped in.  "Xero?" I guessed. "No." Rixec said. "Replicron." Xoncron said with a scowl on his face. "A Replica?!" I said, alarmed. "And he wasn't the only one." Sephirix said. I raised an eyebrow. "You've missed a lot. Where should we start?" Rixec said. "We can start by figuring out how the hell we get out of here." Vanitas said. "I think I have a way." I said. "Give me a minute; I just need to find the door." I closed my eyes for a moment and felt power rising. "Oh!" I opened my eyes and saw a simple white door appear. "There it is!" I said. "You sure?" Rixec asked. "Positive." I answered. "Can't be any more dangerous than your plan for trying to save Lexa from Xero." Sephirix said. "You'll have to teach me that trick." Xoncron mused, impressed. I laughed. "C'mon."

I opened the door and marveled at the sight of a huge, grand hall. The ceilings vaulted higher and higher, arching, curving sharply, the walls made of white marble, the floor the same, but of a slightly darker grey, red tapestries hanging from the walls, lined with gold, giving the room a hearty look. The windows were stained, frosty glass, but sunlight shone through them, adding a warm light to the room. Fireplaces dotted the room, along with a few tables with ancient books and spare paper. "Whoa...." I said. "Where are we?" Vanitas said, just as amazed. "I think this is my heart." I said, looking around just the same as everyone else.

"Nice dress." Vanitas commented. I looked down. I was in a red and black dress that went just below my knees. I noticed that the boys were all in tuxedos, old fashioned ones with tailcoats. "Our clothes changed." I said, amazed. "Dang." Rixec said, noticing his attire. "At least I look good." Sephirix said, straightening his tuxedo a bit. "You look dashing, V." I said to Vanitas, smiling. "You have a fancy mind, Lexa." I smiled warmly, appreciating the compliment from Rixec. "So, what now?" Xoncron said. I thought for a moment.

"That door." I pointed at it. "I've never tried it before." We had a brief discussion about who would go in first, which resulted in me being chosen, rather reluctantly, I must admit. I opened the door to the room, but quickly shut it, my face flushed. "Oh, my God." I said, turning back. "Um...no, I really don't want you all in there." Vanitas looked at me, confused. "What's in there?" "Nothing." I replied quickly. "Now we have to go in." Rixec said. "Let's go, then." Sephirix said, walking behind him. "I feel we should respect Lexa's privacy." Xoncron said, taking my side. "Come on, I REALLY, REALLY, really don't want you all to see...Fine, but don't judge me." I said, conceding defeat. "I think we're the last ones to judge you, Lexa." Rixec said, reassuringly. "Agreed; we're a messed up group after all." Sephirix added.

I slowly opened the door and lead them in. More stained glass shed violet light upon the armory-like room. Violet colored tapestries covered this one, a few of the same colored feathers hanging in the corners and rafters. The center piece of the room was a stained glass window of Xoncron and I standing back to back, our Keyblades parallel to each other, ready to fight at any moment, my small frame dwarfed by his larger one. "...Why wouldn't you want us to see this, Lexa?" Vanitas asked. "Because it shows Xoncron in a good light." Sephirix said. I looked at him and bopped him in the back of the head. "Good to have you back." Sephirix said, grinning.

"...This path leads and shows what I truly feel for all of you. In other words, when this is over..I'll have no secrets." I explained. "Shall we go on?" Rixec said. I nodded. "Let's find the next door."
