Keyblade Master Rixec 44 Posted March 27, 2013 Sephirix I couldn’t help but smile at Vanitas’s face. I had never seen him this p!ssed so I knew I must’ve done something right. But now I had to deal with a dark emo guy who happens to be the boyfriend of the girl I love. I’d have to kick his butt to the next world to get to Lexa. “You should leave,” Vanitas said, trying to stay calm. “Yeeeah – no,” I laughed. “If anyone needs to leave it’s you. You’ve been the one who messed us up the most.” “I think everyone else would say differently,” Vanitas glared. “Now I’ll give you one last chance to leave and never show yourself to Lexa again.” “Why so merciful?” I laughed, trying to make him mad, make him sloppy. “Has being dead made you weak in addition to hurting Lexa?” “Shut it!” he yelled. “Oooh, nice comeback,” I grinned. “But I guess I can’t blame your death. Lexa was hurt by you even when you were alive.” “I. Am. Alive,” Vanitas gritted. “Not for long,” I said as I summoned a few Heartless. “The dead should stay dead. That would totally solve so many problems with the Xehanorts.” “Maybe you can figure out how to die,” Vanitas said as he summoned his Unversed. We face each other, waiting for the first strike. We both knew how vital it was, what it would mean for our reputations and Lexa. I needed to make him strike first. “Vanitas,” I called out, “how does it feel to be the cause for every %^&*ing thing that’s gone wrong for Lexa since she came here?” That did it. Vanitas pointed Void Gear at me and his Unversed charged. My Heartless clashed with his Unversed and as the screams and smoke filled the air around us Vanitas and I started to circle the battlefield, like two lions over a scrap of meat. I summoned my Keyblade and unleashed a blast of ice his way. Vanitas summoned a vortex of fire around himself and the ice melted before it could even hit him. I jumped forward and pulled out one of my guns; I fired twice at him and the moment they hit the flames they exploded, blowing Vanitas through the air and into a tree. “Damn you Sephirx!” he roared as he teleported and ended up in front of me. I brought up my Keyblade and our weapons clashed, a metallic echo filling the area. “I’ll end your miserable existence.” “Sorry, I like living too much,” I said as I fired my gun and hit Vanitas in the chest. He gasped in agony as he fell back and I swiped at him with One-Winged Angel. I struck him hard across the head and he fell to the ground. “Now to finish this.” “Vanitas!” I turned to see Lexa and Xoncron running our way. Of all times to show up during a fight. “What the hell are you doing Sephirix?!” Xoncron roared. Before I could even answer I felt a chill in the air and as I turned back toward Vanitas I was frozen in a block of ice. I watched through the ice as Vanitas stood up, grinning. “Now to banish you to the shadows.” A dark portal opened up beside us and Vanitas reading his Keyblade to knock me into it. Lord knows where it would lead! “NO!” I cried as I summoned dark firaga and blew my way out of the ice and knocking Vanitas back. I ran at him and we clashed blades once more. Vanitas pushed me back and swiped at my feet. I jumped up and struck down but he moved aside and swung at me, hitting me in the back. He then pushed upward and I was thrown into the air. Vanitas jumped up and struck me in the chest and I was propelled to the ground. As I landed a huge crater was formed, dust blowing everywhere. Vanitas was falling straight at me but I wasn’t gonna let him land in another hit. “Lightning!” I yelled and a bolt of lightning struck Vanitas as he fell. He roared in agony as his body twisted up. I jumped up and struck him in the side; Vanitas fell to the ground with a thud and struggled to stand up. I landed in front of him and pressed my Keyblade to his neck. “Not sorry, by the way,” I said. Vanitas grinned at me and then I felt a blade of ice pressed against the back of my neck. We were in a &^%$ing standoff! “Leave Lexa and us alone forever,” Vanitas warned me. “Not happening,” I said. I knew it was gonna happen before I could do anything. Vanitas was faster in this area and would kill me before I could him. At least I wouldn’t go out like a chump. As I started to thrust my Keyblade I felt the ice going into my neck. “Fire!” a familiar voice shouted. I felt a heat wave behind me and it made me flinch. Vanitas took the opportunity and kicked me in the stomach, knocking me back. I looked up to see Anders from SOLDIER here. Now that I didn’t expect. “Who are you?” Vanitas scoffed. “His ally,” Anders answered. “Though I wish differently.” “This doesn’t concern you knight boy,” Vanitas said. “Right now, I’m older than you,” Anders said. I noticed that his eyes were now a familiar yellow. I would have to remember that. “What? You can’t be any older than fifteen,” Vanitas said. “Please Vanny,” I laughed. “Even I can clearly see he’s eighteen.” “It doesn’t matter, if he gets in my way he’ll be treated the same as you!” Vanitas declared. Before anyone even saw him move Anders was in front of Vanitas and punched him in the jaw. I watched as Vanitas flew through the air and hit a rock face first. As I heard him groan I heard Lexa shout, “Leave him alone!” A ball of fire shot at Anders but Nita jumped out in front of him and stood still as the fireball hit her. She chuckled and said, “Sorry. But that won’t work on me.” “Who are these guys?” Xoncron asked. “Does it matter?” Lexa said as she pointed her Keyblade. “They’re attacking Vanitas.” “Tell the old man to back off Sephirix and we’ll be cool,” Anders said. “I’d rather not beat him to a pulp.” “What did you say punk?” Vanitas glared as he stood up. “Don’t,” Anders said as darkness flowed around him. “Bring it,” Vanitas grinned as his own darkness flowed. “This is gonna be messy,” I said as I channeled my own darkness.” “Tell me about it,” Nita sighed. So she didn’t have any darkness. That’s good. The three of us alone might create a supernova. A few moments passed and we unleashed our darkness! “STOP!” Rixec cried as light filled the area. Rixec I struck my Keyblades into the ground and light erupted from them, absorbing the darkness. I cried out as I took it in and turned it to light. As the light died away I pointed my Keyblades at the sky and fired two beams of light off this world. Man those three had a lot of darkness! “What is your problem?” I yelled. “All of you!” “Don’t defend him Rixec,” Vanitas said. “Rixec, don’t hurt Vanitas,” Lexa begged. “So that’s Rixec,” the new girl said in awe. “I imagined him taller,” the new boy commented. “Shut it,” I said. “Rixec, just leave this between me and Vanitas,” Sephirix said. “Like hell!” I yelled. “Look at you all. Friends attacking each other for stupid reasons! Lexa! Xon! Why didn’t you try harder to stop Vanitas! You should have known what would happen if they met!” “I didn’t know until later,” Xoncron said. “I just,” Lexa started to say. “Did we really defeat Norcnox and save all universes?” I ASKED. “Because this team looks like it couldn’t even defeat a Heartless boss for Pete’s sake!” Everyone grew silent as I breathed in and out slowly. What the hell was wrong with these people? Sure, I figured Sephirix might try something but I didn’t expect Vanitas to do the same. I was just as responsible but they had more control over Vanitas than I had over Sephirix. This was stupid! “Who are you two?” I asked. “No one,” a new voice commented. I watched as a new girl with blue hair and wearing a silver domino mask came forward. I don’t know why but there was something familiar about her. “Nita, Anders, we’re leaving,” she said. Nita and Anders were teleported away and the new girl sighed. “Sorry about that. But you know how Sephirix and Vanitas can be.” “Who are you?” I asked. “Avon,” she giggled. “Until next time.” I watched as Avon disappeared, leaving me confused. I looked at everybody and sighed. “Um, hello?” I turned to see William walking forward. So that’s where she went. I had too much on my plate. “Lexa, take care of William,” I said. “Xoncron, take Vanitas. Sephirix, you’re coming with me.” I grabbed Sephirix and pulled him away from everybody. We needed to talk alone and over a damn drink dammit!
Lexa Infinite 141 Posted March 27, 2013 (edited) Vanitas I SWEAR TO Kingdom Hearts, IT'S EITHER GOING TO BE ME OR SEPHIRIX! I was fuming as Xoncron lead me away. "What is with you!?" Xoncron said to me when we got a decent distance from the rest of them. I glared, not at hi, though. "HE started it, not me. THAT-" I closed my eyes and my fingers curled into a fist. "He crossed the line." I opened my eyes. "He can do what ever he likes to me, I've dealt with enough. It's when he tries to hurt HER that I get touchy. I didn't fight for my life for three freaking weeks to get my ass kicked by-" I groaned as I felt my strength leave me. "Vanitas?" Xoncron said as I hit the ground. "And there's the end of that...." I said. "I told Joshua it was a good possibility that Sephirix would attack me and returned my strength to me for a short period of time. Whatever strength I had is now gone: being dead has it's consequences. Lexa is stronger than me now. No doubt, if I tried to fight him again, I'd perish." Xoncron's eyes narrowed. "....I try to do what is best for her, what will make her happiest, try to defend her honor. At least you can know I don't fight for me." I said. "...I believe it." Xoncron sat down as well. "I don't trust Sephirix as far as I can throw him." He said. "Considering how strong you are? That's got to be pretty far." I smirked. "You're not as prideful as you used to be." Xoncron said. "It's because of Lexa. She always brings out the best in me." I said. I frowned as I thought of something. "....Sephirix said something earlier and you are the genius of this group, so I'm asking you, not her this...." I paused, trying to put my thoughts into words. "Have things for Lexa gotten harder because of me?" I asked. Xoncron thought for a moment. "...No. In fact, Lexa is much stronger when you are around. Did Sephirix say that?" I nodded. "I never thought you'd let him get under your skin." Xoncron said. "Vanitas...do you mean it?" "Huh?" I looked over at Xoncron. "Do you really want to make Lexa happy and try to protect her?" He said. "Yes, more than anything." I answered. "...." Xoncron remained still in concentration. "....The best thing to make her happy, I think, is just for you to be around her. She's on Cloud 9 everytime you are with her." Xoncron said. "Really?" I asked. "Yep." "Hey, I heard there was a sh!tstorm and I wasn't invited?!" Xero jumped down from a ledge above us. "Vanitas and Sephirix got into it pretty bad." Xoncron said, guarded. "Easy, Xon-Xon." Xero said, waving her hand as if she waving away his tone. "What do you want, Xero?" I said. "Why is it I have to want something to be around you two?" Me and Xoncron gave Xero the same look. "Okay, getting death stares, I can take a hint." Xero put up her hands. "Leave Lexa alone; she's not in the best state." I said. "Yeah, yeah, whatevs." Xero said and walked off. "Sometimes, I think Lexa is too diplomatic for her own good." I sighed.Lexa "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" I said and hugged William. "AH!" She said. "LEXA-CAN'T-BREATHE!" She said. "Oh, my God, where have you been?" I asked. "We can tell everyone when we're all together." William said. "Where's Roxas and Ven?" I asked. "Like I said, when we're all together." William said. "So, still after Dark-Xon?" "No...you know what, Xoncron can explain this best. Let's get home." I got back to the house, Vanitas standing in the door. "Okay, the guys will explain everything to you." Vanitas grinned and wrapped his arm around my hip. "Where are you going?" Xoncron said, moving behind Vanitas. "You've all had your chance with her. I'm taking this girl into my custody." Vanitas grinned. "What about-" I started to say, looking at William. "We still have a whole 9 days, right? I think I can take a few of yours." Vanitas said. "You're kidnapping me?" I said, flatly. "It's not kidnapping if I get consent." Vanitas said with a devious smirk. "What if I say no?" I teased. Vanitas moved me closer to him. "I think you'll find me very convincing." Vanitas said quietly. I blushed. "Well, what do you say?" Vanitas said in the same tone, golden eyes glowing in the dark. "Okay." I said quietly, knowing if I raised voice, I'd squeal. "Good!" Vanitas summoned the Glider. "Hey, if Sephirix comes back, tell him-" Vanitas whispered something to Xoncron. Xoncron busted out laughing. Vanitas grinned. "Anyway, you can tell Rixec I'm sorry for blowing up. You tend to be a bit cranky after coming back from the dead." Vanitas lifted me up onto his Glider. I noticed he had to use a bit more effort than normal. Odd....."I'll be back in two days. Meet me at C.O., okay?!" Vanitas hopped onto the Glider and off into the night. "Lexa, wake up." I shook myself into wakefulness. "Sorry." I said. "Nah, it's okay." Vanitas said. I noticed the Glider had stopped. "Lexa, look around us." We were surrounded by a sea of stars. "Oh, wow..." I said. "I thought you might like this...."Vanitas turned around and sat down, making me sit down as well. "Small enough to be fast, yet big enough for us to do this." I said, admiring the Glider. Vanitas grabbed my right hand. "Since the day I left, you've been in my every thought. I could say I'm rather crazy for you." I blushed again. "The whole time I was fighting....I was waiting for this moment." Vanitas moved his left hand to behind my head and pulled me close to him. He stopped when our faces were only an inch apart. "Lexa, I love you and I'll always love you, no matter what. And don't you ever forget it." Vanitas said. I leaned in and gave him his answer. "Never." Our lips met and it was like a wildfire. One minute I was sitting up, then I was on my back. I smacked his hand when he went for the zipper of the cloak. Vanitas laughed deep in his throat, and pressed harder into my lips. I broke off the kiss, but Vanitas moved down to my neck, causing me to really freak out. "Vanitas, if you keep that up, I'm going to pass out." I said. "You think so?" He chuckled. "Serious as the grave here." I said. "Okay." Vanitas gave me one last kiss then got off. Vanitas helped me back up. "I love you, too." Keyblade Master Rixec 44 Posted March 28, 2013 Rixec Sephirix and I were sitting at a bar in a worse part of Radiant Garden. When we arrived we ordered our drinks and sat there, sipping at them without a word. I tended to like silence but today it was just irritating. “Went overboard don’t ya think?” I asked. “I don’t think I went far enough,” Sephirix responded as he tapped the edge of his glass. “Lord, protect us,” I sighed. “Look Sephirix, this isn’t gonna help you. That fight with Vanitas didn’t help.” “He did the first attack,” Sephirix shrugged. “That doesn’t matter,” I said. “First off, no one will believe that because it’s you, even when it’s true. Second, even if they did, they would still side with Vanitas.” “Oh come on!” Sephirix exclaimed. “It’s true,” I said. “Doesn’t matter that Vanitas was once our enemy; you seem more crazy compared with him and are more likely to go over the deep end. Heck, I think they trust Xero far more than you.” “&*^% off,” he scoffed as he took another sip. “Hey, I’m not agreeing with them,” I said. “Despite all your antics I trust you. But that’s because of our connection. I know you. They don’t. To them, it doesn’t matter what you do. You could save their damn lives over and over and it wouldn’t change a thing.” “Then what are you suggesting?” Sephirix asked. “Might be best for there to be a little space between us for a while,” I said. “Not a lot. You should stay nearby us but not with the group until everything cools off.” “So you’re kicking me out,” he sighed. “Not that at all,” I defended. “You’ll be close but won’t interact for maybe a few weeks.” “Forget it,” he said as he stood up. “I know when I’m not wanted. “Wait,” I said as I grabbed his wrist. “Who were those people back there?” “No one important,” he growled. “Sephirix,” I glared. “Fine. They were Avon, Nita, and Anders. They’re the founders of the new version of SOLDIER.” I blinked at the name. Xon probably knew more than I in this area but I had heard of the organization. I thought it was done for. “What did they want?” I asked. “I don’t know,” Sephirix said. “But I’ve met Avon a few times before now and the other two once before. In fact, Avon was the one responsible for that prank at Xero’s club.” “Huh. Is that so?” I said as I cocked an eyebrow. “I like her more already.” Even Sephirix grinned at my comment. “Anyway, they don’t seem to be a threat but they have their own goals. You should probably tell the others not to mess with them.” “Fine,” I said. “We should make sure to stay in touch without the others knowing though. They won’t take too kindly to that.” “Yeah yeah,” Sephirix said as he shook himself free from me and walked out. I finished my drink and then returned back to the house myself. Man, this was not a good night. If this is how things were during the treaty God help us when it ends. As I walked in Xoncron came up to me. “Hey. Where’s Sephirix?” “I thought it was probably best for him to take some time off until everyone cools down,” I said. “Better if he never returned,” he mumbled. “Okay, that’s enough,” I said. “Just what is your problem with the guy anyway?” “Look, I don’t trust him, all right? After that whole Norcnox thing I’m starting to think Sephirix is your version of that.” “He is not my dark side,” I sighed. “He’s his own being, created from me and Sephiroth.” “Maybe that’s the problem,” Xoncron suggested. “He’s helped us many times; he helped stopped Norcnox,” I said. “Barely did anything other than fight copies and get his butt kicked,” Xoncron shrugged. “Oh, right,” I spat. “Because compared with you, Lexa, and Vanitas he and I are just chumps not worth a thing.” “Rixec! That’s not at all what I’m saying!” Xoncron defended himself. “Sephirix and I have been doing the same things during that Norcnox situation,” I said. “In short, what you said about him is true of me.” “Rixec, listen a moment,” Xoncron said. “I need some air,” I said as I turned to the door. “vanitas says he’s sorry, by the way,” Xoncron said. “Yeah, got it,” I mumbled. “Also, he took off with Lexa,” Xoncron said. Sephirix “Also, he took off with Lexa,” Xoncron said. Lucky I decided to listen in a little closer than Rixec intended. That arse of a dark hippie was out there doing God knows what with Lexa! “Now? Of all times?!” I heard Rixec yell. “Can they get their heads out of horny land for two seconds to think what is going on here?” I took off, not bothering to hear Rixec’s rants. I had to find Lexa and get her away from Vanitas. He was the real poison of this group even though they thought it was me. I’ll convince her who the real b@stard is. I snuck into Xoncron room and looked through his stuff until I found what I needed. A set of instructions and a bag of ingredients to go with them. Bet Xoncron thought his little prank would never be used like this. I took off and ran to where I parked my motorcycle. I hopped on and drove off toward the house where Avon led me before. I went down into the basement and knocked on the wall, hoping they could hear it somehow. The doorway opened before me and I walked in and found myself face to face with Avon. “I knew you would come,” she grinned. “I need to make this potion,” I said as I handed her the instructions. “Ah yes, Xoncron’s potion,” she said as she looked it over. “I take it you want it weaker?” “yes,” I answered. “It looks like he left hidden instructions on how to do it,” she said as she took the bag from me. “We’ll get to work right away.” “Welcome back,” Nita said as she walked up to me. “Thanks for tonight,” I said. “Hey, it’s my brother you should be thanking for running off to save you,” she said. “I did it because we need him,” Anders scoffed from the other side of the room. “Oh please, we both know you secretly like him,” Nita laughed. “&^%$ off sis,” he glared. “Thanks,” I said. Anders looked over at me and sighed. “Like I said, we need you. I’d prefer you not to be with SOLDIER but we do need you.” “I haven’t taken up any offers,” I said. “Just came for a favor.” “Good,” he said. “No offence, but I think you’re better off with Rixec then with Avon.” “What’s that mean?” I asked. “You’ll find out,” Anders said. “Anders,” Nita warned. “Got it, got is,” he shrugged. “Good to see your eyes back to normal,” I said. Anders didn’t bother to answer me as he walked off. After about an hour SOLDIER was done with the potion and I pocketed it. “Be careful with it,” Avon said. “I know,” I sighed. It was like even they didn’t trust me to do a simple thing. “I’m just letting you know,” Avon said. “You have to do this right or a lot of us are screwed.” “Right,” I said, confused. “Well, later.” I took off from their base and hopped onto my bike and took off. Time to go get Lexa.
Lexa Infinite 141 Posted March 28, 2013 Lexa "Why is it you are so afraid of heights, and yet you can fall asleep?" Vanitas sighed as he helped me down from the Glider. "Easy: you won't let me fall." I winked. I looked around the world we were in. It looked like a clearing in the middle of a forest. Wildflowers of different kinds grew everywhere, making a wonderful smell. "Wow....I've never seen this place." I said. "I don't doubt it. This isn't in the realm of light." Vanitas said. "Huh?" I asked. "You know how in the realm of light, how the darkness gets in? It's the same thing here, except the light managed to get in here....I did quite a bit of wondering during my early days, got myself lost, and ended up here." Vanitas said. "It's pretty." I answered. Vanitas and I journeyed around for those two days, never really staying in one place, except to rest. I count those two days as some of the best days of my life. "Well, let's go see how truly crazy Xero's place is, eh?" Vanitas said. Vanitas landed the Glider next to Castle Oblivion. "You're going to be shocked." I said. "Try me-" Vanitas opened the front door. "...I stand corrected." Vanitas said and walked in. The place was PACKED, more packed than it had ever been before. "Whoa...." I said. "Vanitas, Lexa!" Xero walked over. "Notice a different change in tunes?" She grinned. Instead of pop and hip-hop, loud heavy metal blared from the speakers. "I take it people are moshing?" I asked. "Yep." Xero grinned. "Best. Sales. EVER. Here, these are for you." Xero handed Vanitas two drinks. "Don't worry, poisoning, etc., falls under the treaty, blah, blah, blah. Hey, I got some people seeing to do, so later." Xero left as soon as she had arrived. "Lexa!" I heard Xon at the bar. "Come on." We walked over to Xon. "How's it going?" I asked. "It's going." Xon asked. "Any sign of Sephirix?" Vanitas asked on a serious note. "No, actually....You didn't see him on your trip?" Vanitas shook his head. "So...where's this girl I hear you've been fighting over?" Xon pointed across the room. "Not going up to her?" Vanitas smirked. "Waiting for the right moment." Xoncron said. "Ah." Vanitas said. "Trust me, it's a million times better when the girl asks you out." Vanitas gave me nudge. "Hey, why don't we go dance?" Vanitas motioned toward the crowd. "Oh, I can't dance..." I said. "You can't?" Vanitas asked. "I never learned how." I answered. "Well, then, it seems about the right time to learn." A slower song came on the stereo and Vanitas started pulling me out on to the dance floor. "I mean it, I can't-" Vanitas pulled me up on top of his feet. "Just move along with me and you'll learn just fine." I hold that memory of me and Vanitas being so close together dearly. It would be the last time for a very long time that we would be close.... "Hey, play Whispers in the Dark!" I heard Vanitas call out to Xero. Xero looked at him from on top of the stereo system and nodded. "Why that?" I asked. "....It reminds me of you." Vanitas said and spun me in a circle. "I think you can dance on your own now." Vanitas smiled. "Vanitas, I need to get some fresh air." I said, starting to feel claustrophobic with all the people around. "You sure?" I nodded. "Okay. If you're going home, tell me, promise?" "Promise." I gave Vanitas a quick kiss and maneuvered through the crowd to the door. I stood outside the castle. I thought of everything that had happened within the last few days. I laughed in joy. "Wow..." I said. "Look like my luck's changed for good." After a few moments of catching my breath, I started to go inside. Suddenly, a massive amount of Heartless appeared and blocked the door. "What?!" I summoned Bond of Flame. Whenever I knocked down one, three more appeared. "Why haven't they heard yet?!" The music inside the club must have been too loud, but why didn't Vanitas- I was starting to feel worn out when I noticed the pool of darkness under my feet. Something grabbed my feet and pulled down hard. I summoned as much flame and sound as I could muster as a pair of arms encircled my chest, holding me tight like a vise. "Silence." The voice was too low for me figure out who it was. The music stopped instantly. I started to panic and thrash as hard as I could against the arms holding me in. In response, one of the arms moved and hit me in the stomach, causing me to gasp. One of the arms immediately tipped a potion into my open mouth and moved so that a hand covered my mouth, the other arm still wrapped around my torso. The same hand pinched my nose shut, making me unwillingly swallow. His grip loosened as I started to feel sleepy. No! Don't fall asleep...don't....fall.... Keyblade Master Xoncron 499 Posted March 28, 2013 Once the slow song started playing in Xero's club that's when I made my move. I quickly made my way over to Lightning. "Care to dance?" I asked her. "Xon you're a great guy and all, but. . ." Lightning began to say. "It would be anything romantic," I said before she could finish, "It would just be two friends haveing some fun." Yes I was useing the friend technique to try and win her affections, but so far it was going well. That is when Rixec wasn't trying to get in my way and when Terra wasn't around. But neither one of them was at the club tonight so I had Lightning all to myself. "I suppose JUST ONE dance couldn't hurt then," She said. Lightning and I made our way to the dance floor and began to dance. As we danced I could tell that she was slightly impressed by my skills. I was quite good when came to formal danceing thanks to my sister giving me lessons since I was five. Though Lightning considered this just some friendly fun, I dearly hoped that it would lead to something more. Everytime I saw or got near Lightning my heart would beat so fast it felt like it was going to burst out of my chest. I felt extreme bliss being able to hold her so close to me as we danced. She was just radiant. I knew she had feelings for Terra, but that didn't mean I couldn't try and win her affection. Besides there was always the possiblity that Terra could get caught in an "accident" that would cause him to "mysteriously" dissappear. Our dance came to an end all too quickly as the slow song was replaced by "Whispers in the Dark". "Okay that's one dance," Lightning said as we came to a stop. "You're not a bad dancer by the way." "Thanks," I said, "Are we still on for a training seesion this Friday?" Yes, as part of my plan I would train with Light from time to time. Unfortunately, Rixec usually joined in on those training sessions as well. "Yes, as far as I know, but we shall see," She said as she walked off. After danceing with Lightning I thought nothing could ruin the rest of my night. However, the rest of my night was ruined about twenty minutes later when Vanitas came up to me looking very upset. "Xoncron have you seen Lexa?" He asked. "Not since you two went danceing," I replied. "She said she had to step out side for a bit to get some air, and she hasn't come back yet," Vanitas said, "I'm worried something might have happened to her." "She's probably just still outside," I said, "Come on let's go see." We went outside to look for Lexa, but we couldn't find any sign of her. "Hmmm...," I said, " It wouldn't be like Lexa to leave without telling anyone. So where is she?" "Sephirix!" Vanitas suddenly snapped in anger. "I bet Sephirix has kidnapped her!" "Seems like something he would do," I said, "But if anyone would know for sure it would probably be Rixec." "Then let's go talk to Rixec," Vanitas said clenching his fists. So we began to make our way back to the house. I had a feeling I was going to have to make sure Vanitas kept his temper under control for Rixec's sake. Obi-wan 411 Posted March 28, 2013 How was she keeping up with this group!? Lexa was now missing. Vani looked about ready to blow his top. Sephirix was a devious bastard. Xoncron was unforunately having to deal with a lot. Maybe I could help with the Vani part. At least keeping him from brutally injuring anyone. So I followed the small group in my silent, and almost unheard way. "So Xoncron, before Vani murders Sephrix, what the hell have I missed? I got put into a mess of my own." One I can't even fix because of everything going on. Eventually this will all end. "Makes me miss home. At least there wasn't anything to insane going on." Minus the military, economy, school, and life in general. At least there wasn't any real magic there. "Because I don't understand how the hell all of this came to be. I'm missing a good bit in here. A bit that might a better picture for everyone." At least if what I feel isn't right. Keyblade Master Rixec 44 Posted March 28, 2013 Rixec Vanitas is a little b@stard, I thought to myself as I slowly rose to my feet after Vanitas decked me the moment I walked in the door. “You got ten seconds to explain yourself Vanitas,” I moaned. “Vanitas! Don’t pin this on Rixec!” Xoncron yelled as he stood in between us. “Vanitas,” William said, “just remember this is on Sephirix…” “What the bloody hell is going on?!” I asked. “Did Sephirix steal the last ice cream bar or something?” “You dare joke at a time like this?!!” Vanitas roared as Xoncron attempted to stop him from tackling me. “He doesn’t know what’s going on!” Xoncron said. “Just calm down!” After a few moments Vanitas started to calm down but I could still see the anger and hatred in his eyes. “Where’s Lexa?” I asked. “She needs to keep Vanitas in control. Are we sure being dead didn’t addle his brains?” “I think I’m beginning to see where Sephirix gets it from,” Vanitas growled. “Rixec,” Xoncron said, “Sephirix kidnapped Lexa.” I raised an eyebrow suspiciously at them, doubtful. Like Lexa could be taken so easily. “Why do you think that?” I asked. “Because we can’t find her and Sephirx is nowhere to be around!” Vanitas yelled. “That’s not good enough to accuse him just yet,” I said. “Then do you know where we can find him?” William asked. “Where he might take Lexa?” I sighed; this was a really bad night for me. “Tell you what; I’ll look into it.” “We need to find her before he hurts her!” Vanitas exclaimed. “He won’t hurt her,” I said. Not seriously, anyway. Unless Lexa did something stupid Sephirix wouldn’t even pluck a hair off her head. Although, I suppose a kidnapping wouldn’t require much force if done right. “I’ll be back in an hour,” I said as I walked out. As I made my way through the dark I felt dents in the ground and examined them to see motorcycle tracks. They were only a few hours old. Sephirix must’ve been here. Had be been listening to me and Xoncron? If that was the case then… I paled up at the thought that the guys were right. That Sephirix did kidnap Lexa. Crap. Maybe I can still fix this if I play this right. If I’m wrong, we’ll have a civil war on our hands as we approach closer to the end of the treaty. I summoned a ball of light and whispered into it. I then pulled my arm back and threw it into the air and watched it fly away. The light should manage to find Sephirix and give him my message. For now, I should go wait at the meeting place. Sephirix I placed Lexa on the bed as she snored softly. “Sorry about this Lexa,” I said as I covered her with a blanket. “You should only be out about a day and drowsy for five or six days.” I did it. I got Lexa away from that creep Vanitas. I now had all the time in the world once she woke to convince her that he wasn’t for her. I would show her how much she meant to be even if it ended entire worlds. “Sephirix,” I heard Rixec say. I turned to see his message light floating behind me. “Sephirix, meet me at this address tonight. DO NOT BE LATE,” the message said as the ball widened to show me a map. I memorized it quickly and waved the light away. I looked at Lexa and sighed. I was going to have to leave her unprotected for the time being while I met with Rixec. I already had a feeling I knew what it was about. “Looks like it worked,” Nita said as she came in the room. “How did you find me?” I asked. “A girl has her resources,” she laughed. “What do you want,” I asked as I crossed my arms. “Believe it or not I’m here to help you,” she said. “Only me though. Avon figured only I would be enough for tonight.” “Why? What’s your sake in it if I have Lexa?” I inquired. “Let’s just say the next few weeks will be very important for billions of billions of lives,” she said. “Every action you or your friends take now will have serious consequences that affect us all. They need to happen here.” “You are one strange girl,” I said. “You’ve seen my Mom,” Nita laughed. “Strange, but an amazing woman.” I raised an eyebrow at what she said. Had I met her mother before? I suppose it didn’t matter now. I had to go see Rixec. As I walked by Nita I asked, “Why are you interested in me and Rixec?” Nita grew serious for a moment and breathed in deeply. She let it out with a praiseful answer. “I owe you two everything.” “I don’t get it,” I said as I walked out. “You will,” I heard her say as I took off. “You will.”
Keyblade Master Xoncron 499 Posted April 1, 2013 William and I watched as Vanitas searched through my room. "Vanitas what are you doing?" I asked. "Looking for something I could use to kill Sephirix with," He said. "Why are you looking in my room then?" I asked. "You're the mad scientist of the group," Vanitas said, "So surely you have something that will do him in." "Look just because I have contingency plans for everyone in the group doesn't mean any of them are ready yet." I said. "Wait you have contingency plans for all of us?" William said. "Why?" "Incase any of us go rouge," I replied. "So where's the one for Sephirix?" Vanitas asked. "Well you see Sephirix is highly unpredictable, so the best I've been able to come up with is that," I said pointing to what looked like a remote controled dalek on the dresser. "And even that's not ready yet." Vanitas walked over to it and picked up the remote control. "How could this thing be of any..." Vanitas began to say as he pressed a button on the remote. "EXTERMINATE!" the little dalek screamed as it activated. Then it started fireing deadly lasers all over the room. All three of us ducked. "WHY WOULD MAKE SOMETHING LIKE THAT?!" William yelled as lasers flew over our heads. "It was my contingency plan for Sephirix, and as I said it WASN'T READY!" I said glareing at Vanitas. "Sorry, but I didn't know this would happen!" He said, "So what should we do?" "Considering how dangerous it is," I said, "I suggest we RUN!" So we all ran off with the minuture Dalek in pursuit. 1 Lexa Infinite reacted to this
Obi-wan 411 Posted April 1, 2013 "Again why does it have to be lasers!?" I screamed just as one shot over my head. "Tell me I can slice that into pieces. Or bring underground so far it'll explode." Yay for being able to control plants and the ground beneath my feet. "I mean there has to be SOMETHING better to kill him with! That or I could help suffocate him." Plants seemed to be really useful now that I had a better hold on it. Even if it tended to still backfire. Like a lot. Argh where was Roxie when you- "Roxas!? Where the hell did you go to-!" I screamed while pushing him out of the way. "I've been collecting a bit information on a interesting topic-" Roxas spoke almost completely uninterested in it. "So should I ask?" "No you shouldn't even mention this. Just keep ducking." Where was a good drink when yo needed it? "Exactly what have I missed seeing as this has turned into something completely, ah, crazy I guess." Roxas asked while ducking from one of the many blasts.
Keyblade Master Rixec 44 Posted April 1, 2013 Sephirix I pity the woman that marries that fool, I thought as I watched Xoncron, Vanitas, and William get chased around by a miniature Dalek. Though it was a bit cute. I had heard enough to know that Xoncron had made contingency plans for us all; as if he knew enough about me – or even bothered to learn enough – to come up with a plan. I checked the time and thought I still had enough time to kill before meeting with Rixec. So while everyone ran around getting chased by a Dalek I sneaked inside and started snooping around Xoncron’s stuff. What else had he come up with? There were some papers with crude drawings and messed up formulas lying about and there were various gadgets and potions stacked up with labels on them. Xoncron sure didn’t make this easy to work with, but then again, he had said something about them not being ready yet. My eyes managed to make out Lexa’s name on one tube and I took the opportunity to crush it to pieces, the fluid dripping to the floor from my hand. As I shuffled Xoncron’s papers and gadgets I found a couple of things that caught y interest. Luckily, there was a notebook next to these items and I spent a bit trying to make it out. After reading and re-reading it I managed to get a basic idea on what these were for. I stuffed them into a bag and walked out, the sounds of “Exterminate!” still going on. I hopped on my bike and drove away. Hearing Vanitas swear very loudly after another laser went off. I take it back: perhaps Xoncron wasn’t as much of a fool as I thought. Rixec I waited in the abyss where Sora once fought a thousand Heartless. If Sephirix and I were to chat this would be the best place to do so. There wasn’t enough around for serious collateral damage. I heard a bike coming up and I turned my head to see Sephirix arriving barely on time. “Thought you wouldn’t show up,” I said. “I got held up,” he answered with a grin as he hopped off. “Let’s cut to the chase,” I said. “Where’s Lexa?” “Safe,” Sephirix said as he walked up to me. “Not good enough,” I said crossly. “Look Rixec, a guy like Vanitas is no good for her,” he told me. “All the times she or us have been hurt because of their relationship – I’m better for her.” “That doesn’t mean you can kidnap her,” I said. “There’s still time to let her go. We can work all this out.” “I’m afraid there’s no going back Rixec,” Sephirix said as he pulled out a small vial. “What’s that?” I asked, alert. “Xoncron’s contingency plan for you,” he answered. “He has them for all of us. You should see the one he has for me. It’s chasing them all right now.” “Cut the crap Sephirix,” I said. “I’m not amused.” “Fine, fine,” Sephirix grinned as he tossed the vial into the air and it fell to the ground with a shatter. “To be honest, I’m disappointed Sephirix,” I said as I started to walk forward. “Rixec,” I heard. I turned to see Lexa right behind me. Relief flooded my veins as I ran to her. “Lexa! Glad to see you’re all…” Lexa launched a fireball at me and I gasped as I was flown back as it hit me in the chest. I coughed horribly as I stood up. “Lexa… what the hell…?” “She had to do that,” I heard William say as I turned around. She and Roxas were right behind me. “Scum like you shouldn’t be here.” Roxas fire two beams of light at me and I just barely dodged them, but then I felt a cold air come across my feet and I looked down to see two blocks of ice where they should have been. “It’s over Rixec,” Xoncron said as he walked toward me. “Time to do what I should have done when you showed up.” “Xon! What are you doing?!” I yelled as they all closed in on me. I watched as Vanitas appeared and walked toward me. He pressed his Keyblade to my neck and said, “Everything that’s been happening is because of you, Bringer of Light. All this darkness is coming at you like a magnet. So we need to exterminate you to stop all this.” “No! I didn’t mean for!” I started to say. “Save it Rixec,” Lexa smirked. “Just die with dignity, though you have none,” William said. I felt a slash across my back and I fell to my knees; I looked back to see Xoncron, his Keyblade dripping with blood. “Goodbye,” he said as he raised it up and brought it down. Sephirix “^&*%,” I said as I watched Rixec cower on the ground before me. He had fear and anger in his eyes, and had a circular device attached to his chest that sent our four tentacles that wrapped around his torso. The liquid quickly entered his nostrils once the tube was shattered, making him see illusions of God knows what. The device on him let him feel what was happening psychologically, so he would think it was real. He might realize it eventually but for now it gave me all the time in the world. I hopped on my bike and drove back to pick up Lexa. It was time to go. 2 Keyblade Master Xoncron and Lexa Infinite reacted to this
Keyblade Master Xoncron 499 Posted April 3, 2013 "How come you didn't tell us you had contingency plans for each of us?" Vanitas asked. We had finally taken down the miniature Dalek, and were carrying the remains back to my room while William was talking with Roxas about something. Shame we weren't able to stop the dalek before the house became the spitting image of swiss cheese. "I was going to tell you guys about them when they were all ready," I said. "Only one is truly ready. All the others are not to the point were they wouldn't be lethal." "So which one is ready and who is it for?" Vanitas asked. I was about to answer when we walked into my room and I imeadiatly noticed something was miss. "No, no, no, no ,no!" I said as I ran into the room. "What is it?" Vanitas asked. "The cure for Lexa's contingency plan has been smashed," I said. "And the contingency plan for RIxec is missing!" "Sephirix!" Vanitas said. "Or maybe one of our enemies," I said. "Either way this is bad. Vanitas see if you or your unversed can find Rixec while I prepare an antidote for Rixec's contingency plan." "Right," Vanitas said and took off. I imeadeatly began working on an antidote for Rixec's contingency plan. I just hoped that it wouldn't be too late. 30 minutes later. I spat out a little blood after Rixec punched me. I'll admit I probably deserved that. I wasn't sure if Rixec was more mad about the contingency plans or the fact that my antidote had turned his skin blue for about five minutes. Hey, I didn't have time to test the darn thing. "You should have told us about the contingency plans even if most of them weren't ready yet," Rixec said. "Here, here," Vanitas muttered. He hadn't said much since Rixec told us what happened. I suspect he was upset because we were no closer to finding Lexa. "We've been living with Xero, one of our worst enemies. I didn't want her to find out about the plans," I said. " Right now the ones for you guys would be lethal if used. I need time to make them none lethal." "That doesn't give you. . ." Rixec started to say when he suddenly paused. "What do you mean by the ones for you guys?" "The only contingency plan that's ready is the one for me," I sighed as I removed my shirt to show them what I meant. I watched as both Vanitas and Rixec's eyes widen in horror at the sight of the huge scar over my heart. "Xoncron..." Vanitas began to say. "What have you done?" Rixec finished. "I've had a remote operated device implanted in my chest; so if I go rouge you guys can find the remote and activate the device," I said putting my shirt back on. "Once activated the device will inject a lethal toxin into my system, and any attempts to remove the device now will cause my heart to give out." 1 Lexa Infinite reacted to this
Keyblade Master Rixec 44 Posted April 3, 2013 Rixec 30 minutes ago I grasped the dirt as I stood up in sheer agony. I was bloody, pain soared through my body like fire through a forest, and I wanted payback. I slowly walked back into town as I clutched my side, my teeth gritted together as I breathed in and out slowly. I was keeping an eye out for the others, waiting for another surprise attack from them. They wouldn’t get me this time though, I was prepared! “Rixec!” I turned to see Vanitas running right at me. I didn’t expect them to do that – they caught me unprepared dammit! No, I wouldn’t let them end me, I will not die here! “Jesus Rix, what is that thing?!” Vanitas asked as he pointed at my chest. I had no idea what he was talking about - -probably just trying to distract me so he can stab me. Well it wouldn’t work! “I won’t let you kill me,” I said as I called out Oblivion. “Kill you?” Vanitas repeated as I flung a fireball at him. Vanitas called out Void Gear and blocked the attack but I was already on the move. I charged at him and slashed at his chest. Vanitas saw me coming and jumped back, but I still managed to get in an indirect attack. I watched as Vanitas stumbled back and clutch his bleeding torso. “What the &^%$ Rixec?” He swore as he took a closer look at my chest. “Oh don’t tell me that’s Xoncron’s contingency plan for you? What did Sephirix do to you man?” “Won’t let you…,” I muttered. “I won’t let any of you kill me!” I leapt into the air and thrust my Keyblade down as I fell. Vanitas raised his Keyblade up and a sonic vibration broke all the glass in a twelve meter radius as the Keyblades struck each other. Vanitas fell to one knee as I pushed downward. “Snap out of it Rixec and let me help you so we can go kill Sephirix!” he roared at me. “You, Lexa, Xoncron, William, Roxas… I won’t let you kill me!” I shrieked as I pushed Vanitas to the ground and swung my Keyblade down. Vanitas rolled out of the way and rose to his feet. “This is much worse than Sephirix’s Dalek,” he muttered. “Got no choice then…” I charged at him, gripping my Keyblade so tightly my hand started to bleed. Vanitas struck the ground with his Keyb lade and I watched as darkness rose up from where it was. The shadows came at me and wrapped themselves around me tightly. I gasped out as they started to envelop me. No! In my current state I didn’t have the strength to call upon the light to fight back. Vanitas was going to kill me! Vanitas was going to… When I regained my sense ten minutes later I yelped at the sight of my blue skin and went into a panic. Vanitas and Xoncron managed to calm me down and explain what I just went through. Around the time they finished my skin went back to normal and the first thing I did was punch Xoncron. He deserved it. Contingency plans, what the hell! But I was shocked when he showed us his contingency plan. “Xon, I’m not sure you’re aware of this,” I said, “but the point is to make a contingency plan for everyone but yourself!” “Couldn’t risk it after Norcnox,” he replied. “I needed a way for you guys to stop him should he ever return.” “My god,” I said. “Did you have to do something so stupid?” A bomb in your damn chest?!” “If Norcnox returns he must be stopped immediately,” Xoncron told me. “We’re getting that thing out of you first chance we get,” I said. “First, we have to go after Sephirix!” Vanitas said. “He still has Lexa!” “Vanitas, Sephirix is probably gone by now. We have no lead to chase him,” I sighed. “I’m not giving up!” he roared. “That’s not what I’m saying! We just need to cool down and look for clues!” I shot back. Vanitas turned to Xoncron and yelled, “This is your fault! If not for your stupid contingency plans Sephirix wouldn’t have been able to get the drop on Rixec and we might’ve still been able to chase him down here!” “I didn’t think this would happen!” Xoncron yelled back. “That’s right, you didn’t think!” Vanitas hissed. “Shut up!” I said. “It doesn’t matter now. What does matter is that we rest and get ready to look for them upon recovery. That’s all we can do now.” “You rest,” Vanitas spat. “I’m going after Sephirix and Lexa.” Before we could do anything Vanitas ran off, leaving us all alone. I sighed bitterly; with Lexa and Sephirix gone things went from bad to worse. I went to my room and locked the door. I needed to be undisturbed for a while. I fell down on my bed and pondered about what was going through Sephirix’s head. Sephirix “Thanks,” I said as I picked up Lexa. “Just be careful,” Nita answered. “I know; I’m heading off to the Underworld for the time being. Seems like a good hiding spot,” I explained. “SOLDIER is here whenever you need us,” Nita told me. “Thanks,” I said as I placed Lexa on my bike and hopped on. I set the coordinates and drove off into a portal to the Underworld. Now I just had to wait for Lexa to wake up. 1 Lexa Infinite reacted to this
Lexa Infinite 141 Posted April 8, 2013 Lexa As I slept, I had the oddest dreams, some memories, some things that had spun off of things I had heard and seen....one song kept on repeating, showing faces in black and white shadows. I could only see the frames of the faces, fighting, pushing for the spotlight. It all seems so familiar and yet..... Ever on and on I continue circling With nothing but my hate in a carousel of agony Till slowly I forget and my heart starts vanishing And suddenly I see that I can't break free-- I'm slipping through the cracks of a dark eternity With nothing but my pain and the paralyzing agony To tell me who I am, who I was Uncertainty enveloping my mind Till I can't break free, and Maybe it's a dream; maybe nothing else is real But it wouldn't mean a thing if I told you how I feel So I'm tired of all the pain, of the misery inside And I wish that I could live feeling nothing but the night You can tell me what to say; you can tell me where to go But I doubt that I would care, and my heart would never know If I make another move there'll be no more turning back Because everything will change, and it all will fade to black Will tomorrow ever come? Will I make it through the night? Will there ever be a place for the broken in the light? Am I hurting? Am I sad? Should I stay, or should I go? I've forgotten how to tell. Did I ever even know? Can I take another step? I've done everything I can All the people that I see I will never understand If I find a way to change, if I step into the light Then I'll never be the same, and it all will fade to white Ever on and on I continue circling With nothing but my hate in a carousel of agony Till slowly I forget and my heart starts vanishing And suddenly I see that I can't break free--I'm Slipping through the cracks of a dark eternity With nothing but my pain and the paralyzing agony To tell me who I am, who I was Uncertainty enveloping my mind Till I can't break free, and Maybe it's a dream; maybe nothing else is real But it wouldn't mean a thing if I told you how I feel So I'm tired of all the pain, of the misery inside And I wish that I could live feeling nothing but the night You can tell me what to say; you can tell me where to go But I doubt that I would care, and my heart would never know If I make another move there'll be no more turning back Because everything will change, and it all will fade to black If I make another move, if I take another step Then it all would fall apart. There'd be nothing of me left If I'm crying in the wind, if I'm crying in the night Will there ever be a way? Will my heart return to white? Can you tell me who you are? Can you tell me where I am? I've forgotten how to see; I've forgotten if I can If I opened up my eyes there'd be no more going back 'Cause I'd throw it all away, and it all would fade to black I opened my eyes. My mind was still in haze and I didn't recognize anything, although, I think I should have. "Hey there, sleepyhead." I looked up at a man with silver hair standing above me. He helped me sit up and sat down next to me, smiling. He seemed nice. "Who....are you?" I concentrated and said. He looked back at me in shock. "You don't remember?!" He said. I slowly shook my head. He remained silent for a moment. "Do you even know your own name?" He finally said. ".....No." I said after concentrating hard. He sighed. "Your name is Lexa." I nodded. That seemed right. "My name is Sephirix." He said. "I'm...." He hesitated. "Your boyfriend, although that really doesn't cover it all." He chuckled. "Why....am I here?" I looked around the cave. He thought over it for a moment. "It was our enemy. He invaded your mind and broke your memories apart. I've been hoping you would wake up for the longest time." He said, quietly. "Who is..." I tried to say my question. "Our enemy's name is Vanitas." Vanitas I summoned as many Unversed as I could at one time. "FIND LEXA AND KILL SEPHIRIX!" I yelled at all of them. They cowered from my anger. I hadn't been this pissed ever. "ALL OF YOUR OTHER MISSIONS ARE CANCELLED! SPREAD THE WORD AMONG YOURSELVES!" I commanded to the Unversed that remained."I've got my own work to deal with." I said as I summoned my Glider. "Lead me to her, star." I closed my eyes. I felt that spark of light connected to her Wayfinder. "Yes." I sighed in relief. She still had it on. That meant Sephirix hadn't thought to take it back. I grinned grimly as I thought of what would happen if he did try to take it from her. Whatever state she was in, she wouldn't appreciate it at all. I admit, I felt slight remorse for being an ass to Xoncron. Rixec, not so much, but Xoncron, yes. This wasn't his fault, this was Sephirix. And that son of a bitch was already dead. He just didn't know it yet. Xero I waited until the club had cleared out to see my creation. I had told Lexa previously that everything I do has some sort of ulterior reason. I pulled back the panel that held my creation. "Very soon, very soon, indeed." I said, quietly as I gazed at the nearly pitch black Keyblade Armour. It's amazing what you can salvage if you look hard enough. I'd found this long ago in the Realm of Darkness. It originally was pure white, minus a few patches of rust, but, due to the massive amounts of negativity it was now storing from all the emotions that raged during the nights in Castle Oblivion, it had changed. "Soon." I said and closed it back, hiding from view.
Keyblade Master Xoncron 499 Posted April 8, 2013 I was searching around Radiant Garden looking for Lexa. We had been searching for days and found nothing. "If only we had a clue as to where Sephirix was," I said to myself. Then I noticed something. Noticed someone actually. I saw a young man in aromur walking down the street. He looked like one of those guys who had helped Sephirix when he and Vanitas where dukeing it out. "Maybe he knows where Sephirix is?" I mumbled. Then I leapt from my rooftop perch and engaged him. An hour later. There was a startled look on everyone's face, back at the house, as I kicked open the door and brought in the member of SOLDIER, who was tied up of course. "I think this guy might know where we can find Sephirix," I announced.
Lexa Infinite 141 Posted April 8, 2013 (edited) Xero "Day 29!" I sang as I walked into the first floor. Things could not be going better: Lexa was out of the way, Vanitas was Kingdom-Hearts-knows-where, and, as a whole, their little group was starting to fall apart. There was just one little issue that nagged at the back of my mind.... The Organization. Things had been rather quiet when it came to the Organization. I had a double treaty with them, so I was covered. However....a little suspicion never hurt anyone. Especially for those who are denizens of the Dark. I had decided to close the club for the day so I could work on the armor. I had enough profit to buy anything I needed to fortify this place and fix this thing up good. I grinned. No more would be any person's secondary. Now, this time, I'd be in charge. Hell hath no fury than I. Vanitas No. Trace. I thought it would be impossible for someone to vanish off the face of the world. Now I'm reconsidering that point. As I walked dejectedly back into Radiant Garden, I thought everything over. Okay, who else might have Lexa? Maybe he has accomplices. A list of faces came into my mind. Xero, treaty or no, would love to see Lexa gone. I'm not going to rule out Dark-Xon; people have come back before. The Organization....I think not, but there's a slight possibility. I opened the door to the house to see everyone surrounding a person bound on the floor. I stood there in shock as I tried to process the situation. "Okay, what the hell?" I said as I gave up. They finally realized I had arrived. "Nice to see you're back." Xoncron said, with a slight bitterness. "No luck, I take it?" I shook my head. "Not a trace." I said. "Sorry I was an ass." Xoncron nodded. "Mind telling me what this is about?" I said. "It's a good possibility he has information about Sephirix." He answered. "Oh?" I said. I walked past him and picked up the boy by the front of his armor. "Let's cut to the chase, then." I said and summoned Void Gear. "Talk." I said. "Vanitas, calm down." Rixec said, noting my lethally quiet tone. "I'll calm down when I have Lexa back. I suggest you start talking, boy. I tend to get...violent when someone I care for is in danger." "Vanitas, put him down." Xoncron said, placing a hand on my shoulder. I felt the darkness rise. The boy glared back, fearless. Which, in his case, was the smart thing to do. "Fine, you all deal with him." I said and dropped him unceremoniously. "Rixec, you should know something...." I said as I began to walk out the door. "I'm not ruling out the possibility that Sephirix is innocent. However...." I turned back and looked him dead in the eye. "If he has kidnapped Lexa or hurt her in anyway, he's a dead man walking. I won't be able to hold my temper if he's done something to her." I said. "Are we clear?" Rixec narrowed his eyes. "When does the treaty end?" I asked as the thought ran through my mind. Rixec and Xoncron looked at each other in alarm as they thought about it. "Today is the 29th day." Rixec said. "Which means...?" I asked. "Either tomorrow or the day after, Xero and the Organization are going to break all hell." Rixec said. Keyblade Master Rixec 44 Posted April 8, 2013 Sephirix What had happened? When Lexa had awakened without any memories I was shocked that it had happened at all. She didn’t seem at all the type to forget something. Well, at least it gave me a chance to work in a few new memories for her. She wasn’t entirely sure if what I said was true yet or not but she was afraid and confused s she was willing to stay with me for the time being. But what had happened to her memories in the first place? Was it the potion I gave her, or the shock of being taken? Maybe Xero or someone had done something to hurt Lexa somehow. I then remembered Nita was the last person I left Lexa with. But if she did it, then why? What was her purpose? I had too many unanswered questions and probably none of them had an answer. I would just have to do this gradually. “Um, Mr. Sephirix?” I heard Lexa say as she walked up to me. I turned and grinned at her. “I told you, it’s just Sephirix,” I laughed. “Right, sorry,” she said. “How long will we remain in these caves? It’s so dark and creepy.” “Until I’m sure Vanitas is no longer a threat to you,” I said. I had been sending out my Heartless mixed in with wild ones, making sure they wouldn’t be noticed. The sooner I found Vanitas the sooner I could end this. But I knew his Unversed were looking for me as well. It was a race to see who could find the other first. “Is this Vanitas person really that bad,” she asked, unsure. “Yes,” I said. “He’s kidnapped you before and tried to turn you over to the Organization’s side.” The best lies are always the ones that are covered up with the actual truth. It was statements like those that Lexa believes easiest; probably because there was a small part of her that remembered. Lexa held herself as she shivered; whether from what I said or the power of the Underworld I don’t know. “Hey, hey,” I said reassuringly as I wrapped my arms around her. “It’s okay. I’ll protect you no matter what. I’ll never let you go, no matter who comes after us.” “Thank you,” she said as her arms slowly wrapped around my waist. Lexa and I flinched at the sound of a shriek. I turned to see a group of Unversed coming right at us. Sh!t! They found us so soon! “Lexa! Get back!” I shouted as I pulled out my guns and started firing. Every bullet I fired managed to hit them dead on but they still kept coming. %^&*. Vanitas’s emotions must’ve been giving these guys a power boost. I called out my Keyblade and jumped right into the horde. I started slashing at them while using one gun to fire away. They were trying to claw at me and I could see they were eager to take my life. I wouldn’t let them do so. “Ahh!” I heard. I turned to see another group of Unversed grabbing Lexa’s hands and feet and starting to carry her away. She was struggling to escape their clutches, yelling for me. “Sephirx!” she cried as my anger boiled. “NO!” I roared as a blast of darkness shot out throughout the cave and the Unversed disintegrated into shadows where they stood. Lexa fell to the floor with a thud. She slowly sat up, clutching her back. “Ow,” she moaned. “Lexa!” I yelled as I ran up to her and threw my arms around her. “Sephirix!” she exclaimed. “What were those things?” “Unversed,” I said. “Vanitas’s personal underlings. He’ll be coming soon.” “What’ll we do?” she asked. Could I take on Vanitas alone? Probably not in his current condition, maybe. But with help… I gazed at Lexa as I brushed some hair out of her face. Not only was her memory gone – or was that the source in the first place? – her personality was different as well. The fiery Lexa I’d come to love seemed to be nothing more than a stereotypical damsel in distress. I needed the old Lexa back – with the few memory alters, of course – to fend off Vanitas and… I froze as I realized what day it was. The truce was about to end. On my own I knew I would be dead before I hit the ground when they came after us. “They” meaning anybody. I needed a strong ally. One who could burn a foe with her laughter. “Now?” I said as I helped her to her feet. “Now I re-teach you who you are.” Rixec We looked at the SOLDIER knight as he gazed at the floor. He was probably one of the only links we had to finding Sephirix and Lexa yet he didn’t budge even under threat from Vanitas. I respected that, I really did. But our biggest problem was the ending truce. We had nearly forgotten with all the hell that had risen since Vanitas came back. That was the whole problem: we were divided. Sephirix has Lexa, Vanitas could blow off at any of us – particularly me – if he didn’t find them, William was out in Radiant Garden and Xoncron wasn’t the most trustworthy after those contingency plans. If we were attacked right now we would all be dead – some of us once more. I knelt down and pulled the knight closer to me. “Listen,” I said. “This has been a really bad week. I want to know anything you might know about Sephirix or Lexa now. Don’t push me.” It was kind of a lame threat, but I was tired. But what surprised me was that he started talking… “ALL RIGHT I’LL TALK!!!” …very loudly. “SEPHIRIX TOOK HER ALL RIGHT. WE’VE BEEN KEEPING WATCH ON THEM UNTIL THEY LEFT!!!” he roared. Vanitas started running at the knight but Xoncron held him back. “He’s talking Vanitas! Let him without ripping his head off!” “Fine,” he growled as he calmed down, but darkness still bathed his aura. “Continue,” I said. “WE MADE A POTION FROM YOUR FRIEND, THE SLEEPING ONE WITH WEAKER EFFECTS!!!” he yelled. All eyes turned to Xoncron as he turned his head the other way. Why was it that everything he made was being used against us? “BUT THAT WOULDN’T BE ENOUGH!” the knight explained. “ONE OF OUR OWN – NITA – ALTERED HER MEMORIES AND PERSONALITY WHILE HE MET WITH YOU! HE HIMSELF DOESN’T KNOW THAT WE’RE RESPONSIBLE!!!” I felt Vanitas’s darkness choking us as he sat there, clutching his knees and gritting his teeth. I swear he was close to breaking them. “HE TOOK OFF WITH HER FOR PARTS WE DON’T EVEN KNOW! BUT WE’RE LOOKING AND WE’RE CLOSE NOW…” “Do you have to keep yelling?” I asked. “I wouldn’t be able to hear all of Kingdom Hearts if they came up to our door right no-” I froze as a thought formed. “SHUT HIM UP!!!” I roared and Xoncron casted a spell that prevented the knight from speaking. It was too easy how the knight suddenly started talking, and in such a deafening voice. I listened as I heard some rummaging upstairs followed by a snap! I was the first to get to the stairs and ran into Xoncron’s room to see Avon, who had broken through the floor and was taking out an old book covered with dust. It must have been there for decades. “Hello Rixec,” she said cheerfully. Before I could draw my Keyblade I felt a gust of wind hit me in the chest and I was blown back into the guys as they came up. We tumbled down the stairs and hit with a thud! We all groaned as Avon walked down and went up to the knight. “Good job,” she said as she undid his bindings. “Did you think you could capture me that easily?” he smirked as the two teleported out of the house. As Sephirix would say, “^%&*.” 1 Lexa Infinite reacted to this
Lexa Infinite 141 Posted April 8, 2013 (edited) Vanitas No words. No words can describe what I feel. Fury, anger, hatred, all are minor compared to what I feel. My Unversed were in a frenzy, distancing themselves from my shaking sanity. My sight had turned blood red. I needed break something, preferably Sephirix's neck. He had her. He had my Lexa. HE HAD LEXA. Xoncron had the sense to pin me down when I let loose. "Vanitas, you need to chill! I know that might seem really hard, but try to hold it back. Lexa needs you to be calm!" He said. And with that, my sight returned to normal. I noticed that I was radiating darkness more than I normally do and shut it down. I shook my had, shaking off the feeling. "Sorry." Lexa "Oh, my God, what is this?!" I squealed as I ate the candy. "It's Pocky. I can still see you love it as much as you did." Sephirix laughed. We had sat down to eat when he handed the red box of 'Pocky' to me. I nodded, smiling. I started messing around in my pockets. "What are you doing?" Sephirix asked. "Seeing what I have in here." I said. "Maybe something'll help me remember." I said. I pulled out a silver item with a apple logo on the pack. "I-Pod?" I said, reading the back. I put in one of the earphones that connected to it. Sephirix watched me closely. I turned it on and saw I had a song paused. I pressed the play button. I'm in the business of misery, Let's take it from the top- I grabbed my head as disjointed images flowed into my head. "OW!" I yelled. "Lexa!" Sephirix reached over immediately. "Wait!" I yelled. "I-" I remembered. I remembered names, faces: Roxas, Axel, Sora, Kairi, Riku, the Organization, Va- My mind skipped over something as my memories flooded through me- Ventus, Aqua, Terra, Xehanort. Everything suddenly went black and then went into fast-forward. Open the door. "Name's Lexa. Lexa Infinite." "Your heart is strong, Lexa." Xehanort chuckled. "It's a pity you do not have a body to match it." Welcome back, Lexa. You have many questions. They will be answered in time. However, you must answer your questions yourself. I answered back. "What about Xehanort? I have to fight him!"Why must you? What is your reasoning?God, even my heart was logical. "Because....I have to protect my friends." I said.I take it you do not need to reaffirm what you wish to fight with."No." I replied. Then follow your heart and control your inner fire, lest you burn more than you mean to. A man of 20 years jumped over the guard rails and landed in front of me. I knew who it was the moment I saw him. I recognized the way he stood, his attitude, the way he held himself. "Xoncron!" I said, overjoyed. "How'd you guess?" he said coolly. "How could I not?" I said. "For the Order of the X-Blade?" Xoncron cracked a slight grin. "Always for the Order." I closed my eyes, and retreated into myself. I felt a strong bass beat. What song was my heart singing? I recognized it after a few moments. When I did, it re-winded to the start. I heard my own voice. "I...will....say...YES!" I released all the pent-up energy. I felt the guitar riffs go straight through me and I opened my eyes. Everyone had disappeared. I looked at myself and saw that I was on fire. I could also hear the music in my ears. A static-like noise and appearance entered this memory, making it hard to look at. I felt something grab my ankle and pull me down. My left hand automatically flew up as I reached for Xoncron. The world went black as I realized I was being pulled into darkness. I felt Xoncron reach in and grab my left wrist. The only thing he could do was stop the progress whatever-it-was was making. I felt the darkness swarm around me, wanting to consume me, annoyed by my cloak. My heart stopped as the thing holding my ankle started chuckling. A second hand wrapped around my wrist. "Not that bad, not bad at all. I guess I'll see you around." He mocked. He let go of my ankle. I gasped as I was pulled out into the light. "LEXA! LEXA, ARE YOU ALRIGHT?!" Xoncron grabbed my shoulders. I was shaking like a leaf. "Oh, my god....oh, my god...." I said. I felt like I was going to pass out. "Answer me, Lexa!" Xoncron said. "I'm...physically okay." I said. "Emotionally and mentally....Freaking out." I said, holding my knees. "What was it?!" Xoncron said. "It...was....."I panted, trying to regain calm and oxygen. "Vanitas." I said, finally. "Vanitas?" Xoncron said. "I thought-" "Yeah, I did, too." I said. The memory suddenly switched. I was running, running until I thought my hear would stop, running so hard I felt as if I was a burning streak. I looked behind me. Too close, too close! I tried to run faster, I only went slower. I was running in an empty wasteland, nothing but rocks and sand forever. I looked behind me for too long. I tripped over and landed on my face. I hit the ground. I quickly turned over, looking back, scooting backwards. I saw my coat was ripped to shreds, I felt blood streaming from a throbbing cut on my cheek; to my horror, I saw Xoncron and Snow, lifeless on the ground, a single figure stepping over them. The figure turned into many things: Xemnas, Ansem, Terranort, the Slenderman, Larxene, Master Xehanort, and finally the face I so cared about and so feared: Vanitas. He summoned Void Gear. "Game over." He swung it up, my arm covered my face- A wave of fire erupted from my Keyblade as I thought of one of the most difficult projects I had ever done, and never finished: Through the Fire and Flames. "The hell?!" Vanitas leaped back. I rushed forward. Xehanort did the wise thing and moved the hell out of the way. I ran until I reached the Altar of Naught, Vanitas on my tail. "No where left to run, Lexa! Give up!" I stood at the ledge of the tower. "Lexa!" A voice called down. I saw a Keyblade Glider with two people on it. "Oh, no." I said in dread, fires still burning bright. "Ventus!" Vanitas said, his attention turned away from me. Alright, let's see what I can do. I built up the flames, my feet rising briefly as I sent a wave of fire at the Glider, pushing it far, far, far away from Vanitas's grasp. The song stopped. I fell on my knees, panting. "YOU STUPID GIRL!" Vanitas shouted, infuriated. The last thing I saw before passing out were those burning, golden eyes grasping my shoulders as I fell into unconsciousness. "Lexa! Lexa! Lexa, wake up!" I heard a faint voice. I'm trying, dammit. I thought, frustrated. My eyes fluttered. I saw a girl standing above me, shaking me up. I felt so...weak. "Vanitas...where's Vanitas?" I asked, breathlessly. "Fighting Ventus." she said. I shot up, then fell back down. "Oww...." I groaned. "I feel like I got ran over by a semi." "Lexa!" I shot up again as I heard Xoncron's voice. This time Xoncron caught me before I fell over. "Lexa, you undeniable jackass! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU WERE DOING?!" Xoncron yelled at me. This was the first time I'd ever seen him pissed. "...Sorry?" I tried. "This is beyond sorry, this is-" Xoncron stopped. "Never again. Ever." "Okay." I replied. I concentrated and said, "Cura." I felt some of my strength return, enough to fight well enough. I stood up to see Vanitas smash the end of Void Gear into Ven's chest, knocking him back. I was still in shock when I woke up. I shot up about to yell my head off. "Calm down; we're okay." Rixec said, giving me a thumbs up. "OKAY? WE'RE OKAY?!" I grabbed the front of Rixec's clothes, shaking him back and forth, laughing and still kind of pissed. "Oh, my God, never do that again." I let go of Rixec, back hitting the ground. "Correction: Never do that again, unless necessary." I couldn't stop laughing. "Oh. My. God. Freaking out. So much. I sound. Like. An idiot." I said between laughs. "Twilight Town again, huh? I don't know about you but I could use a nice nap..." I felt my eyes droop. "I used so much energy..." "Sleep, Lexa. You're in safe hands." Rixec said. "If you do weird stuff to me while I'm sleeping, I'll..." I felt hot tears running down my face. I started wiping my face with my right sleeve. "Even in the real world, I would nearly cry over this song...." I said. Rixec suddenly embraced me. I started crying harder. I felt a second pair of strong arms wrap around me. "It's okay. It's okay." Xoncron said. I leaned into Xoncron. "I...I...." I couldn't stop. I stayed like that for who knows how long. After a while, I felt the need to explain. "That....was about...I miss everyone back home...and I'm rather shocked about my assistant..."I said. "That's right; Vanitas was your assistant in your posts, right?" "Not just that: Vanitas is my muse, the source of my work and projects and writing,my imagination personified. I feel as if someone's torn a hole in my heart where my imagination is." I said. "I'm in love with my work, you could say." I laughed weakly."What's that supposed to mean?" Xoncron said. "Wouldn't you like to know? Unfortunately, that's one of the secrets I need to keep." I said. "You gonna be okay?" Rixec said. I nodded. "I'll be okay. I just had a lot on my mind." I smiled a bit. "I've made a decision: you two are picking where we go next, I honestly don't care! Anywhere but here and near!" I laughed. "That's the Lexa I know!" Xoncron said, lightly punching me in the arm. I grinned, feeling much more like myself. "Yep, anywhere but here and near. Have I made a rhyme?" I said. "You talk just like you post: random." Xoncron said. "Yep, and that's not gonna change, ever." I said. "So, you managed to find yourself? Big f&cking whoop." I turned to my right to see her. "You know, I'm rather pissed off at you." I said. "Yeah, I know. I am you." She rolled her eyes. God, this..thing was everything I hate about me. "No, I refuse to loose to such an idiot! You won't..." She landed on her knees, trying to keep herself together. "It's over." I said. "You'll never be rid of me." She growled. "I know, but at least I'll be able to keep you under lock and key." I said. As she faded, the Awakening grew brighter and became less corrupt. You have done well. I felt myself rise up and out, unsure of what havoc she had reigned during my absence. The sound stopped and I looked up. "You're Xero." I said, and backed up. "Yep. No longer your shadow, just Xero." She laughed and I wanted to cover my ears again. I looked around. "Where-" "They're still on the fourth floor, freaking out about you." She smirked. "You should know that this place isn't owned by the Organization anymore. You're welcome." She said and grabbed the front of my coat; I was still dazed from the ringing noise. "Oh, this is so much fun. I should really give Larxy a turn, though...oh, well, guess I'll just be tenderizing you a bit for the main course." I struggled as she lifted me off the floor. "Vanitas is going to kick your skanky-" She adjusted her grip and interrupted me. "Sorry, Lover-Girl, Vanitas has already been taken care of. I'll make sure he get what's coming to him, though." And with that, I went into automatic. I sent out a Reflect spell out and jumped back, summoning Bond of Flame. "Oooh, you got tougher. I like it!" She giggled. "Let's go!" She summoned a solid black Bond of Flame. "Bond of Flame, meet Binds of Darkness." I won that battle with the first move. I ran forward and grabbed her Keyblade arm as she swung it, narrowly missing my face. I twisted her wrist harshly. She yelped. "Tell me where Vanitas is, or I'll break it." I said. "You wouldn't dare, you goody-goody two shoes." She glared at me. "Try me." I twisted harder. I knew at this point her wrist was sprained; it was amazing that she still was only as strong as the last time we fought. She groaned. "Give up." I said. "You mentioned something about Larxene; let's hear it." I raised my Keyblade, ready to shatter her arm from the elbow down. "Okay, okay, okay!" She finally took the hint that I was dead serious. "Larxy's got Vanitas somewhere, she wouldn't tell me! She mentioned it being one of the only worlds that is permanently dark; that's all I know!" She said. "Good, Xero." I said. "Sorry I had to sprain your wrist, you just weren't getting the point. Are we clear now?" I said. "Transparently." She said and I let go. "Send Marluxia my regards." I said and made an about-face. "You really shouldn't have done that." I said. "Do what? Beat the crap out of your boyfriend or take apart your memories? Either way it was fun, wasn't it, Larxy?" Xero said. "Let's just shut up and fight so we can get this over." I said. Taking on two sadistic rhymes-with-witches is not the easiest thing I've done. To say it easily, I was on the defense. The barrier separating me and Xoncron from helping each other didn't help. Thank God, William and Ven had managed to get Vanitas away from the fight. "Alright, playtime's over!" I said, ready to unleash a Firaza. "Not so fast!" Larxene's kunai caught right between the connecting part of Bond of Flame, where it looked like an hourglass. The Keyblade literally split. "What?!" The three of us said as the top part appeared in my left hand. I grinned. "Oh,yeah, this is better." I started fighting, Axel-style. There are benefits to playing and replaying Kingdom Hearts II: you learn fighting styles really quick. "Come here, I'll make it all stop!" I yelled out. The flames grew higher. "BURN, BABY!" I dodged behind the wall of flame, waiting for the right opportunities and taking them. "Surrender and I'll make this easier for you two!" I yelled out. "When Hell freezes over!" Xero yelled back. "Afraid to touch the flames, aren't you, you little nothing?" I retorted. "Oh, that is it! Larxene, stay out of this, she's getting it! Xero dropped Binds of Darkness and leaped straight for me. Xero's face-meet my size 9! I kicked up and hit her rather solidly. She flew back in front of Larxene. "What was that about taking her on your own?" Larxene looked down and said. "God, she broke my nose!" Xero said and clutched her face. I felt something shift behind me. "Hold still or you're dead." I heard Xoncron's dark self say. Oh, to hell with that! I reached back and flipped him over, slamming him hard into the bailey floor. "Next time, when you mess with one of us, remember you mess with all of us. Next time, you won't live to regret it." I walked past him to Vanitas, who had regained consciousness. "Lexa, I am so glad you and I aren't on the opposite sides." He shook his head. I laughed nervously. "Where's the dream team?" I said, looking around. Xoncron came coughing out of a cloud of smoke. "Nice job trying to suffocate me! Marluxia and his lackeys left." He said. I remembered fighting, fighting so hard, music pounding in my heart, a song in my soul. I- Woke up. "Lexa, you okay?" I was still in the same place we were eating. "I remember." I whispered. "How much?!" He asked. "Where are Xon and Rix?" I asked. "....They're out in the world, making sure you are safe. Do you remember me?" He asked. I shook my head. "Oh, well." He sighed. "Oh, and I remembered this." I summoned my Keyblade. "Ta-da!" I said. "No more damsel in distress." I grinned. "It's name is....Bond of Flame." Keyblade Master Rixec 44 Posted April 9, 2013 Sephirix It was the next day and Lexa and I were sparring down in the caves of the Underworld. I don’t mean to sound boastful but with the skill we were showing it almost seemed as if it didn’t affect us at all. I knew either Vanitas or Xero would be coming soon and it was important we were prepared. Lexa swiped at me but I managed to duck down and thrust my Keyblade at her. I stopped just short of her torso and drew back. “I think that’s enough for now,” I said as I put my Keyblade away.” I’m not done yet!” Lexa smirked as she leapt at me. I instinctively pulled out my gun and fired but she deflected the bullet and fell on top of me. We rolled down into the green waters in the caves and Lexa lay on top of me. We were both breathing slowly; after a few moments we both started laughing like idiots. Lexa stood up and held out her hand to me, which I took of course. She pulled me up to my feet and we got out of the water. “Hold on,” she said as she summoned rings of fire that surrounded us. After a few seconds we were dried out by the flames. “Thanks,” I said. “No problem,” she said. “Hey, shouldn’t we go look for Xoncron and the others? If this treaty is suppose to end today or tomorrow…” “It’s best if we’re apart for the moment,” I said. “In a big group that makes us an easier target to find. Once we know the full extent of Xero’s plan we’ll meet up with them.” “Unless she finds one of us and that makes it easier for her to win,” Lexa noted. “We’re not that weak,” Sephirix said, meaning it. They were all pretty strong on their own. “Besides, I’m sure Xoncron has something planned for her.” “Oh?” Lexa said. “Yeah, I’m sure he came up with a contingency plan for her in case she went rouge early or something,” I said, remembering all those plans he had for us. “That’s Xoncron for you,” Lexa nodded. “Always thinking ahead.” “Yeah, thinking ahead,” I said. Though not far enough, seeing how easily I manipulated one of his plans. “By the way,” Lexa said. “Yes?” I responded. “Is it really true you were born from Rixec and Sephiroth?” she asked. “It’s in the name, isn’t it?” I laughed. “It’s just – wow,” she said. “The idea of you being born from two men… freaky.” “It’s not like one of them became pregnant,” I shrugged. “Oh God don’t put that in my head!” she exclaimed, causing me to laugh. “Guess that part still hasn’t changed!” I laughed. “Let’s just change the subject,” Lexa said, laughing herself now. “Right,” I said as I sat down. “So, what is it like to be you?” she asked. “Tricky,” I shrugged. “People either think I’m like Sephiroth or worse. Doesn’t matter how much I help, their view won’t change.” “I’m sorry,” she said. “It’s fine. For a while I really was emotionless. That is, until I met you,” I said. “Oh?!” Lexa said. “You gave me a new perspective on life, so to say,” I said. “And it’s been affecting me slowly over time. “Eventually, real love formed.” “And that’s how…,” Lexa theorized, incorrectly, of course. “Yep,” I said. “That’s how we got together.” “I’m sorry, but I still can’t remember,” she said. “No worries, take your time,” I said. “I’m in no rush.” “You really are kind Sephirix,” Lexa said. Anyone else would feel terrible about hearing that after doing what I’ve done, but I was fine with it. “Thanks,” I said. “All right!” Lexa said as she hopped to her feet. “Let’s get back to practice! I need to kick your butt some more!” “We’ll see!” I laughed as we called out our Keyblades. Rixec “Ten minutes,” I said as I watched the clock. It was ten minutes until the next day and Xero hadn’t done anything yet. So would she do it the moment the next day came, or was she still planning and waiting to catch us off guard? “This is pointless!” Vanitas sore as he paced around the room. “We should be looking for Lexa and Sephirix! Not waiting for some pretend attack or finding some book!” “SOLDIER wanted that book for a reason,” I said. “It was so important that anything involving Lexa and Sephirix didn’t matter. It’s important.” “Important my @ss,” Vanitas said. We heard the door open and Xoncron walked in. “I couldn’t find anything on SOLDIER,” he said. “They’ve up and vanished. “Great,” I said as I looked back at the clock. 11:52. “Then we should go after Lexa!” Vanitas yelled. “Vanitas, just shut your trap and think straight for once!” I yelled back. “No!” he responded. “Like I’m gonna listen to the guy that started all this in the first place!” “I didn’t do this!” I roared. “You and Sephiroth made Sehirix, back when you two ran off,” Vanitas said. “I’ve been thinking about some things and I think I know why he attacked Lexa then…” I waited for him to say it. “You told him to,” Vanitas gritted. “That’s insane!” Xoncron yelled at Vanitas. “Then tell us so Rixec!” Vanitas exclaimed. “Is it or isn’t it?” I sighed and then said, “It’s true.” Before we could do anything Vanitas opened up a portal and disappeared. Xoncron looked at me and yelled, “What the hell Rix?!” “I had my reasons,” I said. “I had to be certain about Vanitas back then.” “But to have that psycho attack Lexa?!” Xoncron roared. “You don’t get to judge me Mr. Contingency Plan!” I replied. “Oh, you are never gonna let that one go are y-!” he said before a loud crack silenced him. He and I looked around as more cracks appeared out of thin air. “Are you doing this?” I asked. “I was hoping you were,” Xoncron replied. “Xero?” I called out. Rings of blck fire bound me and Xoncron, leaving us helpless as the house started to fall dopwn around us. We both yelled as we were buried by the rubble. It was 11:59. The next thing I saw was darkness. 1 Lexa Infinite reacted to this
Lexa Infinite 141 Posted April 9, 2013 (edited) Xero I grinned as I watched the house fall. "Now that that's taken care of." I said. "Time to really mess things up." I returned to Castle Oblivion. The club had never been this full. I had to open two more floors to make enough room. I smirked as I locked the main doors behind me. I walked through the crowds to the stereo. I opened up the interior and flipped a switch. Invisible darkness flowed from the stereo as the music increased in volume. I closed it back and leaned back against it. I watched the crowd slowly succumb to the darkness, now slaves to the music. I considered going after Sephirix and Lexa, but disregarded it. Between the three of them, Vanitas, Lexa and Sephirix were going to make more pain than I ever could. As it was.... I wouldn't mind a little fun. There was still the Organization. I'd wait a little while to break my other treaty with them. Vanitas, however.... Considering his emotional state, I'm sure I'll have my bit of fun with him. Lexa "It's 1 a.m., Seph. Why do you think Xero hasn't come yet?" I asked, yawning. "....I don't know, but I've got a bad feeling." Sephirix said. "Do you have a way of contacting the guys?" I asked. "...No." He answered. "Maybe we should-" "No!" Sephirix yelled. I flinched away from his angry tone. "I mean...sorry, I didn't want to snap at you like that." He apologized. "It's okay. You're just under a lot of stress, right?" I said. "It's because of Vanitas, right? He's with Xero?" "Yes." Sephirix answered. "Okay, then." I said. "I've got a feeling Xero isn't coming." I stretched and yawned again. "Tired?" He asked. "Mm-hmm." I replied. I felt my eyes start to close at the mention of sleep. "Easy, there. Come on, sleepy." Sephirix chuckled. I held Sephirix's hand as he led me into the back of a cave, eyes slowly closing. I felt Sephirix push me gently on to a cot. He let go of my hand and started to walk away. "Don't go." I opened my eyes again, and stared at his back. He turned around. "You...used to sleep by my bed to keep the nightmares away, right?" I said. I remembered someone I cared for deeply used to do that; it had to be him. "Of course." Sephirix reassured. He sat down next to me on the cold rock. "You going to sleep?" I asked. "Nah, I'm not tired. Rest well, princess." He said. I closed my eyes. Unfortunately, I had another nightmare, though this was more memory than dream. "XONCRON, YOU OKAY?!" I head Rixec yell in the darkness. I heard Xon groan in the background. "XON?!" Rixec yelled again. "...I'll get over it. You okay?" I heard Xon say, strained. "Can you move?!" heard Rixec call out. "No, one of the supporting beams of the house has me pinned down. You?" The dream switched to something else. "Finally, I got contact with you!" I heard a voice echo in my head. "Who are you?!" I said. "Oh, God, you don't remember anything, do you?" The voice said. "Lexa, it's me." He said. "Try to remember. Please." He begged. "I...I'm trying." I answered. The voice sounded desperate. "Lexa, where are you?!" He asked. "What has Sephirix told you?!" "First, answer who you are!" I demanded. "It's me, Vanitas. We're-" "GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" I screamed inside. He immediately pulled away. "GET. OUT!" I yelled again. I woke up. "Jesus." I said and sat up. "So, any dreams?" Sephirix asked, still in the same spot. "...Vanitas got into my head." I answered. "HE WHAT!?" Sephirix yelled, immediately alarmed. "Don't worry; I kicked him out. Yelled at him a good bit, too." I said. "Good; anything else?" He asked. "....where were Rix and Xon at last time you saw them?" I asked. "Radiant Garden. Why?" He asked. "I had a dream they were stuck somewhere dark. Xon mentioned something about being pinned down by one of the supporting beams. Does that mean anything to you?" Keyblade Master Xoncron 499 Posted April 9, 2013 The pain was extremely excruciating. When the house collapsed a support beam landed on my leg pinning me down. I swear that my leg was broken and the pain was travelling through my body. I have know idea how long I was pinned down before I heard Rixec yelling. I quickly told him what had happened, and then I heard him trying to make his way over to me. As I waited for Rixec, I thought I heard the flutter of wings in the darkness. I lifted my head as much as I could, gasping in pain, and I swear in the darkness perched atop the support beam. It looked at me with its cold unfeeling eyes. "What's this?" I asked, "An omen of things to come?" "Nevermore," the raven seemed to say when it opened its beak. Then the raven flew off, and that's when Rixec arrived. "Can you move now?" He asked as he rolled the support beam off my leg. "No," I said cringing in pain. "My leg, I think it's broken." "Don't worry," Rixec said helping me up. "We'll get out of here and get your leg and my arm fixed up good as new." It was then that I realized Rixec had broken his left arm. I tried to ask him what happened to it, but he refused to say and told me to conserve my energy. Then Rixec helped me to limp out of what had once been the house. I didn't know how Rixec could endure the pain of a broken limb so well. I still felt as though the pain was spreading to my entire body. "By the way did you see it?" I asked Rixec when we were almost out of the rubble. "See what?" He asked. "The raven that was on the support beam," I said. "Xoncron, there was no raven on the support beam," Rixec said. "Really?" I said confused. Had I just imagined it? Rixec nodded in response. When finally made out of the rubble it was daylight outside. I looked down and that's when I realized why the pain going throughout my body was so excruciating. A piece of rubble about the size of my hand was jutting out from my abdomen. I reached one hand down to the wound, and when I brought my hand back up the fingers were covered in blood. Then I blacked out as I heard Rixec cry out in a panic.
