The next day, it was ON! Despite being on vacation, me and Xero woke up at 5 am, well before the dawn. Xero opened up a dark corridor and we walked to Castle Oblivion without a word between us, too tired to speak.

"Can we both agree that last night's prank was insane?" I said as we walked into the room with the crystal orb. "God, I'll NEVER get that horrifying image out of my head. Jesus, even I'M not twisted enough to do....yaoi." We both shuddered at the word.

"If that's the way they want to play, then, by all means, let's REALLY mess them up." I said. "Xero, I know you have no significant other...do you mind-" "No." She grinned. "You have an idea for the other guys?" I grinned back. "Not yet...but I have a good idea...I need to wait, though. Revenge is best served cold."

Xero

That day was overcast in Radiant Garden, so things were already darker when I arrived back there at 6 a.m. I opened the door to Sephirix's room. "Sephirix?" I said softly. "...Lexa?" He said. YES! I thought as I entered the room and closed the door. "Sephirix, can I talk to you?" I said. It was amazing how much Lexa and I sounded alike, especially when I tried

"Yeah, what's up? Not to upset about last night's prank?" He asked. "No, it's just...." I sighed. "Last night, when you said that you didn't love.." I made my voice crack. "It kind of hurt." "I'm sorry." He said. "I guess it is my fault...Sephirix, I have something to tell you...." I walked over to the edge of his bed. "Um, what?" He said, wary. "I kind of...like..." I leaned down Sephirix and kissed him. "Ohhhh. Um...Uh..." Sephirix said in shock afterward.

"Can I tell you something else?" I said. "What is it?" He asked. "Well..." I grinned. "It's amazing how much me and my other self are alike, especially in voice." I jumped back and switched on the light. "OH, YOU LITTLE WITCH!" Sephirix jumped up in anger. "LATER!" I laughed and ran into a dark corridor, closing it in Sephirix's face.

Lexa"Okay, on a scale of one to Axel, how pissed was he?" I asked. "Oh, I don't think there's a scale for that. I'm not going back to that house for a week." Xero said. "That's pretty bad." I said. "Nah, it's cool. I have to work on making this place into the best club the world's ever seen. Of course, you get free admission." Xero said. "Why?" I asked. "Because it was YOUR idea." Xero rolled her eyes, like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "And anyone else I bring?" I asked. "Yeah, yeah, sure." Xero said, off-handedly. "Thanks." I said. "No problem." Xero said.

"So, what are you doing today?" She asked. "Oh, umm..." I said. "Actually...today I wanted to...settle somethings." I looked down. "Say no more, say no more. I won't pry...unless you are planning on pranking me?" Xero said, wary. "Oh, no, no,no. I'm not...I just need time to think today."

I walked across the dry ground. I took a deep breath and walked up to the Keyblade that once belong to...I sat down beside where Void Gear was stuck in the ground and looked at the sky. "Hey, Vanitas." I said. I began to talk of all the things that had happened, laughing at myself a few times at the insanity of it all. "Anyway, we're on vacation for about another 26 days. Hope you'll be able to find your way back soon. Miss you."

I left the Keyblade Graveyard and went back home. "Lexa!" Sephirix ran up. "DID YOU-Oh." He saw the sad look on my face. "You know what? This can wait." Sephirix said. "What's wrong?" I looked at the ground. "I...got things settled." I said. "Meaning?" He asked. "...I don't want to talk about it." I said and walked into the house. I walked into my room and turned on my laptop.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" I threw it off. I rushed out of my room. "WHO THE FLYING F&*$ CHANGED MY BACKGROUND TO SLENDER? WHAT SICK SON OF A-" The three guys looked at each other and did the smart thing: they got out of the house fast.

I calmed down after a while and just sat on the couch, listening to my I-Pod. "Lexa?" I heard Xoncron say. "What, Xoncron?" I said. "You okay?" He asked, sitting down beside me. "Yeah, peachy." I said, sarcastically. "Sorry. I just....had a rough day and..." I trailed off. "You went back to the Keyblade Graveyard." Xoncron said. "Yeah." I answered. "I told the other two not to do it, for the record." Xoncron said. "Really?" I said. "Yeah." He nodded.

"Okay, I'll go a bit easier on you, I guess." I said, smiling. "Mind telling me where Xero is?" He asked. "Oh, she's getting her club ready." Xoncron looked confused. "Business enterprise: she's broke." "Ah."

Sephirix

I had a bad taste in my mouth, and it just wasn’t from Xero kissing me. Okay, the actual bad taste was totally from that, but I meant it in a metaphorical way, which, ironically, was from when Xero kissed me. ^&*%.

Ever since Xero kissed me I’ve had a strange sensation, like there was some vicious, dark plan bubbling up inside her. It is Xero, so I’m sure she has something, but we’re in the middle of a truce right now so we should be safe. Besides, if I were to mention it to anyone else they would toss it aside as me trying to convince them she was totally bad news at the moment due to the kiss. The point was, there was no proof or anything, so I might as well wait.

I was strolling around Radiant Garden by myself today; I needed some me time. Of course, I got strange looks from the citizens as I went by. I did cause a ruckus last time I was here. Defeating Special Forces, fighting Yuffie, Leon, and Cloud – kicking their butts while at it – and leaving cocoa-less.

So I wasn’t RG’s favorite son. Big deal.

“You shouldn’t be here.”

I turned my head to see Cloud, who was totally p!ssed off. I guess the Sephiroth in me gets me that. “There’s a truce, so I have every right,” I smirk. “Besides, I was on the goody two shoes side.”

“Everything Sephiroth does he does for a reason,” Cloud stated as he walked by me. “And you’re no different.”

“Contrary to popular opinion,” I laughed.

“The moment you show your true colors, I’ll finish you, once and for all,” Cloud said. “You and your master Sephiroth.”

“I have no master,” I said, annoyed. “Except for me.”

Cloud grunted as he walked away and out of sight. Man, that guy totally needs a chill pill when it comes to Sephiroth. It was always about Sephiroth this, Sephiroth that, Sephiroth killed my girl in one universe and will do it here too – Cloud needs to get a dog. He’d look good with one.

“You hear about the new club?”

I turned my head to see a pretty girl sitting at the café that was wrecked last time I was there. She appeared to be around fourteen, blue hair that reached down to her neck, and she wore a silver, metal domino mask that covered her eyes. Other than the mask, she dressed quite normally, in a white skirt, an indigo tank top, and red heels.

“What club?” I asked.

“The one started by that girl that’s dreary looking,” she said as she took a sip of coffee. “The one opening in a week or so.”

“Xero,” I whispered. What could she be up to now? I better not accept any drinks from her; God knows what she’d put in them. “Probably shouldn‘t go.”

“It could be interesting,” the girl smiled as she put her cup down. She stood up and walked up next to me, never looking me in the eye. “And with someone as dangerous as her it’s best to keep an eye on her.”

I never looked at the girl but I was intrigued by what she was saying. She wasn’t ordinary, that’s for sure. And yes, the mask qualified as ordinary. “I know that much,” I replied.

“Then maybe you should go,” she suggested. “Things might get interesting.”

“May I have the name of the one telling me this?” I asked.

She giggled and started walking away from me, but I heard her answer as she left.

“Avon,” she said.

By the time I turned around she was gone.

It was a moment later I realized there wasn’t anyone like her anywhere.

Damn. All these Dark selves and copies and dead coming back I should make sure to keep an eye on new people.

Rixec

Something was wrong.

Xero hadn’t even tried to get even after I walked in as Sephirix and pranked her. Not a thing. Nada. Zippo.

I’d better keep my guard up in case she tries something at a later date. Because I had the strangest feeling the moment she tried something all hell would break loose on the universe.

How did I know this? Because she’s Xero.

Nuff said.

"Xoncron could you please just tell me what your idea is?!" Rixec asked as we made our way to the war room.

"It's better if i just show you," I said.

"Show me what?" Rixec inquired.

"You'll see," I replied laughing maniacally at the end.

Eventually we made it to the war room, and as we stepped inside Rixec gasped in shock. The war room was filled with snow and dozens of penguins.

"Where did all these penguins come from?!" Rixec asked.

"I brought them here," I said, "You see my idea for our next prank on the girls is that we make there rooms look like artic wastelands and fill them with these penguins. Brilliant no?"

"Where did you even get these penguins?" Rixec asked.

"Look, Rixec is it really important where I got the penguins?" I said.

"Maybe not, but I would still like to know!" Rixec said.

"It's a long complicated story involveing a clown and a raven with a machine gun, and I'd rather not talk about it," I replied, "Oh by the way these penguins are set off by fish."

Suddenly, Sephirix walked in holding a huge fish.

"Hey guys! Sorry I'm late, but you'll never gues... AGH!" Sephirix cried as all penguins started attacking him to get the fish.

Both Rixec and I stood there stunned as Sephirix tried to fight off the penguins without hurting them (Hey even Sephirix couldn't possiblely be evil enough to try and harm a penguin on purpose could he?).

"I don't know if we should help him or make a video and post it online," I finally said.

"Of course we should help him," Rixec said, "Why would you even suggest the latter?"

"Hey, people go nuts over cute animals doing silly things on the internet," I said, "Besides it's Sephirix's fault for haveing a fish with him. Why does he even have a fish any way?"

"How the heck should I know?" Rixec said.

(Rixec I leave it to you to explain why Sephirix had a fish and how we help him.)

"Hey, can you toss me that?" Xero said. I tossed her a piece of the massive stereo system she was installing. "Xero, I think this is overkill." I said. "Nah. The acoustics to this place kinda suck, soooo....." She looked down, calculating, then placed it carefully in.

"Mind if I stay here for a bit? Knowing the guys, my rooms not going to be in the best shape." I asked. "No problem." Xero said.

"Why are you being so-" "Nice?" She asked. "Well, my job is to make your life a living, miserable hell, right? I'm still out of that job right now; you can blame Mr. Dark-and-Insane for that. I'm soooo glad we kicked his ass." I looked away.

"Hey, don't get emo on me, that's my job; Vanitas said he'd be back and, when Vanitas has a goal, by Kingdom Hearts, he's going to get to it, come hell or high water." Xero said. "You know what?" Xero jumped down from the stereo. "This can wait; you and me, we're going out." "What?!" I said. "We're taking a night off; whatever world you want go to, let's go." Xero said. "Why?" I said. "Because I'm bored and sick of your depressive act; it's making me depressed."

"Are you sure this is completely okay?!" I asked. "Oh, yeah. I've got a double truce with the Old Man. We're cool." Xero said as we walked into the castle. "Well, well; I never thought I'd see you here." I jumped, startled. "You're awfully jumpy, Ginger." Braig laughed. "Easy, we got a truce, right?" I nodded.

"Let me guess: Miss Dark-and-Dangerous dragged you out here, didn't she?" Braig said. "Hey, you missed one!" Xero said. "What would that be?" He asked. "Awesome." Xero grinned. "Look, you two can go like this all day. As for me..." I said. "Come on, Lexa. You know I have a motive for everything."

I stiffened, ready to summon Bond of Flame. "Oh, CHILL OUT. That's NOT what I meant." Xero rolled her eyes. "Geez, I thought YOU were supposed the chill one." Xero lead me down a few halls. "Here we are. I'll give you a bit." She left me in front of a door, walking briskly away.

I cautiously opened the door. "No one's been in here for a while..." I said and closed the door behind me. The room was almost bare. I would have thought it had been unoccupied if it wasn't for one of the closet doors being slightly ajar. I opened the closet door.

"This was your room." I said as I saw several pairs of clothes, identical to Vanitas's, hanging up on a rack neatly. I took one off and held it close. I put it down on the bed and searched through the rest of the room, trying the small dresser first

I was about to leave it when I noticed something caught my eye. The bottom of the drawer closest to the floor...."That has a false bottom." I said and ripped it out. I turned it upside down. A panel fell out, followed by a red notebook.

I grabbed it up quickly and replaced the drawer. I placed it in my pocket. "Okay...." I looked under Vanitas's bed. "Ha!" I pulled out a suitcase. "Always prepared..." I said. I grabbed Vanitas's clothes and put them in the suitcase. Something fell off above the clothes as I grabbed the last one. I picked it up.

I saw my face reflected in the glass of the helmet. I saw a tear run down my face. "No. No tears." I shook it off. I put the helmet in the suitcase, zipping it up. "Leaving so soon?" I turned and saw Xehanort. "I've got things to take care of." I answer. "At least stay for lunch?" He asked. I bit my lip, indecisive. "We do have a truce." He said. "And, as Keyblade Master, I am bound by my word."

I sighed. "Very well." I said. "At least let me send this home." I summoned Vanitas's Glider. I put a note on the suitcase as I attached it to the Glider. MESS WITH THIS SUITCASE AND I WILL UNLEASH UNHOLY HELL THAT THE WORLD HAS NEVER SEEN BEFORE. THAT IS NOT A THREAT, THAT IS A PROMISE! DO. NOT. TOUCH.

I sent it flying away. "Well, now that we've gotten that taken care of..."

"I am very sorry for your loss, Lexa. He was a good apprentice." Xehanort said. I stirred my tea, the cup hot in my even hotter hands, steaming. "He was an even better Keyblade Bearer." I said, coolly. "And even better friend." Xehanort nodded. "Yes, he seemed to be very close to you in particular, Lexa."

I looked him dead in the eye."Do you honestly think I want to be talking about that right now?" I said. "Look, I'm really sorry, but I have to be going." I said, putting the tea down. "Now?" He asked. "Yes." I said and stood up. "I'd be careful of Xero: she's not all of what she seems." Xehanort said as I walked out.

I wandered through the dead forest, looking. I was completely alone, no one for ages. Where was he? WHERE WAS HE?! "VANITAS!" I yelled out. "He's never coming back, you know?" I looked up in one of the trees. "Sephirix?" I said. "Who else?" He jumped down. "You know...."He said, walking forward. "With Vanitas gone...you could be my girl." I stepped back, shaking my head. "No...? I'm sorry; I don't accept no." He grinned, almost to me. "STAY AWAY FROM ME!" I turned and ran. I was suddenly thrown to the ground. I looked up and-

"LEXA!" I shot awake, panting. I looked around. I was in the living room of the house. I was sure I was in C.O....."Lexa, are you okay?!" I looked up at Xoncron. "Dammit, Lexa! What was it this time?" Xoncron said, frustrated. I don't think he was frustrated at me, rather he was frustrated I couldn't get rid the dreams.

"...I don't want to talk about it." I said. Xoncron opened his arms, allowing me into them. "I'm starting to think you're getting used to this...." I said. "That's because I am." Xoncron said.

"Mind telling me how I got here?" I said. "I...am sure Vanitas would kill me if he found out I let you stay at C.O. for a night." Xoncron explained. "Oh. Thanks." I said.

 Sephirix

Today I learned something very important.

One, I need to find someone evil enough to kill penguins should the need arise.

Two, never accept a free fish from a fish market going out of business again.

I stepped out of the shower and after I finished drying my body off I gave it a quick sniff and was repulsed. After four showers I still smelled like salmon and bird crap. I’ve even gone through a whole bottle of shampoo already. I grumbled as I walked out across the hall; I walked into my room and changed into my spare outfit, the one that didn’t get caught up in the penguin attack. So help me Xoncron, when I think of a way to get you!

I sighed, deciding I would save it for another day, one he wouldn’t expect. It might take years, but I’ll do it.

I walked back out and into the living room and saw Rixec pacing around the room. He looked irritated and concerned. Never a good sign. “Yo,” I said as I plopped on the chair. “What’s up?”

“Well, for one thing, you and I are the only ones here at the moment,” he said as he circled me.

“Wait, what?” I asked.

“Xero’s out at her thing, and Lexa and Xoncron are gone too,” Rixec said. “Given what’s happen I think we should be more careful. We’ve already lost Vanitas and we’re living with one of our biggest enemies.”

“What about the truce?” I grinned. “Keeps a b!tch down on her leash.”

“A leash just makes it easier for a dog to pull the master down,” Rixec countered. “No, I think this truce is part of some grander scheme.”

“The next big prank?” I offered as I grabbed a pretzel out of a bag.

“No,” Rixec sighed. “But that’s my point. We’re relaxing like we don’t have a care in the world. Meanwhile, who knows what Xero is planning behind our backs. This truce is only temporary and what will happen once it ends?”

I had to admit, he had a point. “But where’s your basis on this?” I asked.

“Just a feeling,” Rixec said as he sat down. “After everything we’ve gone through I think we shouldn’t underestimate anyone who’s tried to kill us.”

What Rixec was saying made perfect sense. I certainly wanted to throw Xero out, but Lexa hated me enough so maybe if I put up with her evil dark soul half she’ll give me some brownie points. If it came down to it though I could so take her at any moment, no matter what she was planning. “We can take her,” I said.

Rixec

How I wished I believed Sephirix.

But after everything we’d gone through I felt like we hadn’t seen Xero’s true power yet. When she finally came out though what then? What could someone like me do if it came down to that?

Let’s face it; I didn’t do too much when Xoncron’s dark half went rampant. Even Sephirix did slightly more than me. What point was there in me being here? Would things have worked out well if I never came at all? He didn’t say anything, but I had the feeling Xoncron thinks his war with Norcnox would have gone better if I wasn’t around.

I gazed up at the stars, which shined so brightly on us all. They gave a sense of hope for the future that everything would be all right. I certainly hope so, because God help us if not. Out of everyone here, I felt like Xero would present the greatest threat in time. Less than a month until the truce ends, less than a month until the judgment day.  What would happen and who would come out on top?

“Just gotta take it one day at a time,” I said to myself as I turned in for the night.

(Seriously I have no idea how to jump in now that I understand this. Lexa help me.)

...Oh, man...I honestly have NO idea how you are supposed to get into this....I've been trying to figure out a way to get you into the next story arc, but....let's just say it's not going well...I'm sorry. No, really, I'm EXTREMELY sorry, but, unless Xoncron or Rixec can figure something out....you may have to wait until the next story arc to jump back in or something. Once again, I'm truly sorry and feel REALLY guilty about this.

"23 days..." I said. "What?" Xoncron looked over at me from his ice cream. "That's how many days we have left." I said. "Yeah. Until Xero most likely unleashes God-knows-what into the worlds." I sighed. "Always the pessimist, aren't you?" "One of us has to be." Xoncron said.

The permanent sunset shined over the horizon as we sat on the clock tower. "Man, I've always wanted to do this." I said. "Hmm?" Xoncron said. "Ever since I played Days, I've-"I grabbed my head, a sudden pain piercing any thought. "Lexa!" Xoncron grabbed my arm as I started to lean forward. "All these...pictures...rushing into my head!" I yelled out. "Lexa, are you okay?! What do you see?!" He said. "I see-"

???

"SO zetta slow!" I fought back, Void Gear against a barrier between me and Pi-Face. "You think you can win, you factoring hectopascal?" He laughed. I slammed as hard as I could and broke through the barrier. "I'M GOING TO WIN BECAUSE-" I whaled on him physically. "I REMEMBER EVERYTHING!" I aimed to strike him down. "EAT THIS, PI-FACE!"

Lexa

My eyes opened to see Void Gear caught in Xoncron's hand. I dropped it immediately and covered my mouth in shock. "What was THAT about?! You've been going psycho for the last 5 minutes!" Xoncron demanded.

I shook my head. "I don't know; I-" Xoncron stopped me. "This is between you and me. I have a good idea of what that was about, but I don't want to raise any false hopes, okay?" I nodded.

Could that have been......

Vanitas?

After what happened in Twilight Town, Lexa and I had forged a secret alliance in the prank war. Our first target was Rixec, and we thought of a most intriqueing prank to pull on him.

Finally, I thought, I shall have revenge for what he did to my hair! Sure my hair went back to normal after half an hour, but I still got mad just thinking about it. Anyway the next day Lexa and I set our plan into motion.

I was sitting on the couch, Rixec had just returned to the house after doing who knows what, when Lexa sat down next to me.

"So has Rixec gotten the surprise we left in his room yet?" She asked.

"No, but think he should right about. . ." I began to say when all of the sudden a startled cry came from Rixec's room.

"There's a pack of dogs in my room!" We heard Rixec cry.

"Now," I said.

Xero

"Opening night." I sighed. It had taken hell and back (in some cases, LITERALLY) to get this place fixed up, get people hired (you WOULD NOT BELIEVE THE ANNOYANCES IN THAT), and get security...just in case. I did one last round.

"One hour." I said and clapped my hands together. "Alright, staff: This is our first night, so you better all kick some massive ass!"

Lexa

"Lexa, this is a bad idea." Xoncron said as we walked toward the massive line in front of Xero's. "You know what's an even worse idea? Us not showing up. She'll literally kill us in our sleep if we don't go in." I said.

"You know that feeling you get when you are about to enter a known haunted house-" I punched Rixec in the arm. "Will you two stop being absolute wimps?!" I scolded. "Geez, I'm four years younger than you, ya bunch of five year olds!"

"Oh, I don't mind the fact that we're going in; it's the freak show that's insid-" I punched Xoncron in the arm. "Now, can either of you tell me WHERE Sephirix went?" I asked. "He said there was no way in hell he was waiting and went that way." Rixec pointed toward the front of the line. "Are you joking?!" I said.

"Rixec, what kind of flowers does he like?" I asked. "Lexa, she's not going to kill him." Rixec said. "Who won't be killing who?" I turned around quickly. "WILL YOU STOP THAT?!" I said to Sephirix. "Stop what?" He asked. "Popping up behind me like an annoying pop-up!" I said.

"Well, just to let you know, I've already been inside. It is insane in there." Sephirix said. "WHAT?!" we said in unison."Oh, yeah. Something about you getting free admission, Lexa." He answered. "Ah."

Well, Sephirix was right: it was crazy in there. Xero had totally redone the first floor. The walls were black now, lights pulsating dim and colorful. All together, not a bad set-up. I recognized a face. "Hey, Xoncron!" I yelled over the music. "WHAT, I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER THE MUSIC?!" He yelled back. "I think that's Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII." I answered. "WHERE?!" Xoncron and Rixec said in unison. I pointed toward her on the other side of the room.

The two ran off, leaving me alone. "Hey." I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around. "Hey, Xero. Nice place." I said. "Tell me about it. Come with me." She walked me to the stereo system.

I saw two elegant, throne-like chairs up there. "V.I.P. seating. You get it first." She helped me on top of it. "It's amazing how these people can't see music like we can, right, Lexa?" She said and sat lazily in one of the chairs. I cautiously sat next to her.

"I guess so." I said. "Ooooh!" Xero said. "Hot dude, three o'clock!" I looked in that direction. "Kadaj?!" I said. "Yep." Xero grinned. "You four just chill. I've got work to do."

I watched as she led Kadaj away from the crowd. I sighed. "Alone again."

Rixec and I were racing towards Lightning, one of the hottest girls in video games. Rixec was faster than me, but I wasn't about to let him get to Lightning first. I took out the numbing dart I always had with me incase of medical emergancies, and threw it at Rixec. The dart hit Rixec in his lower back, and he collapsed to the floor as his entire body went numb.

"Better luck next fall buddy," I said as I stepped over Rixec and made my way to Lightning.

I came up to Lightning and introduced myself. We had just started talking with each other when Rixec suddenly tackled me out of the way.

Rixec

Knock me out with a numb dart eh? Heh, ever since Xoncron put Sephirix to sleep with that potion I’ve been taking multiple pills and potions to counteract means such as that and others. Many would call me paranoid; well look who’s not in a numbed state right now!

“What the hell Rixec?!” Xoncron whispered as I tackled him out of Lightning’s sight. “Wait, how are you here?”

“Anti-numbing pill,” I shot back. “Now about that numb dart…”

“Wait, you took an anti-numbing pill before all this?” Xoncron asked.

“Not the point,” I said.

“Why would you even take one? Who would even consider being hit with a numb dart a possibility?” Xoncron pressed on.

“You know what?” I said. “Forget it. “I’ll settle this stereo typically since that’s the way you started.”

Before Xoncron could do anything I sucker punched Xoncron across the face. I watched as he dropped to the floor like an old dumbbell. No one found it odd that I just punched him in the middle of this crowd. This is definitely a club made by Xero; no one asked any questions over any unusual activity. This might be the only time I’g glad for something Xero did. Though I still think she’s planning something evil.

Now that I was done with Xoncron I walked over to Lightning. She was sitting at the bar with a glass of whisky in her hands. I sat down next to her as she gulped it down with no hesitation. “Can I buy you another?” I asked as she placed the empty glass down.

“I suppose,” she said.

“Two over here!” I called and two glasses of whisky came sliding over. Where does Xero find these guys?

“Weren’t you the guy that tackled that Xoncron person?” she asked.

“Tackled is a strong word,” I grinned. “Besides, man hit me with a numbing dart moment we walked in the door. What would you have done?”

“Thrown him down the stairs,” she replied as she downed her glass.

Scary thing is, I don’t think she’s joking. Note to self: never p!ss her off.

“So, what do you think of the club?” I asked.

“It’s fine,” she said. “But the owner doesn’t sit right with me.”

“If there’s anyone who sits right with her, keep me away,” I laughed. Although it was a true statement.

“Why don’t you sit with me?” Xero said as she walked up to us, a smile on her face.

“Kinda busy,” I said as I sipped my whisky. God that was strong! Lightning was amazing to gulp it down with ease.

“I said, why don’t you come sit with me?” she asked again.

“Not interested,” I said as I took another sip.

Xero puffed up her chest and walked off towards Shiki and ask her the same question. I couldn’t help but grin at her stupid insistence. As if anyone in their right mind would…

“Okay…,” Shiki said in a drowsy voice as she followed Xero.

I spat out my whisky as they went out of sight. “What the hell?” I mouthed.

“She probably had one too many,” Lightning suggested.

“Yeah, yeah, maybe,” I said, not too sure. I would have to look into this later. “So, Lightning! How would you like to go see some fireworks after this? I know the perfect spot-”

I felt myself yanked back by a force of wind and flew through the crowd dancing on the floor. “Hey Rixec!” Lexa called as I flew by.

I hit a hard wall and slumped to the floor. I heard a door shut in front of me and ran up to it. I twisted the knob but it wouldn’t budge. I summoned my Keyblade and struck at the door. Nothing. “Let me out!” I said as I banged on it.

“You punched me dude,” Xoncron said. “Not cool.”

“Oh you know it’s what you wanted,” I said.

“Not really,” he said. “I’m off to chat with Lightning.”

“You are so dead when I get out of this closet!” I said.

“By all means,” Sephirix said as he opened the door.

“Thanks,” I said.

“I’m still p!ssed about that whole sleeping potion thing,” Sephirix said. “He must’ve spiked a drink of mine earlier since I was so stupid to take that second convenient cup. I’m still working on that though – it’s a theory in process. Oh, you might need this.”

I grinned at the object Sephirix handed me. “Why did you have this?” I asked.

“Took it from the house,” he answered. “Was hoping to find a reason to use it on Xero but then Lexa and went and made us promise.”

“I know the feeling,” I said as I walked off.

I saw Xoncron chatting it up with Lightning and grinned at what he was about to receive.

“So he falls after that second cup I gave him!” Xoncron said, causing Lightning to laugh.

“So what happened in order for him to wake up?” she asked as she turned to get another drink.

“Don’t ask,” Xoncron stated.

“I turned his hair pink while testing an antidote,” I said as I hit Xoncron on the head with a frying pan. I marveled at the Xoncron-shaped dent in the frying pan as he fell to the floor. Unfortunately, he got back up.

“What the hell?” he moaned.

“That was for the closet,” I said.

“Where did you even get a frying pan?” he asked. “Who even owns one these days?”

“Lots of people do,” I shot back.

“So what do you two intend to do now?” Lightning asked us. “And tell me more about that pink hair.”

“Not now,” Xoncron said. “Now, we settle this like men.”

“I couldn’t agree more,” I said.

Sephirix

I laughed so much it brought tears to my eyes.

Seeing Rixec and Xoncron charge at each other on makeshift horses and with makeshift lances was priceless! They both yelled as they charged at each other and then collided, causing them to moan in pain. I was hoping they would sumo next. Always a classic in fighting for a woman’s honor.

Although, it looked like said woman was walking off with a tall, muscular brunette who happens to have a very earthy name.

“Quite the show?” a familiar voice asked me and I turned to see a girl with short, blue hair and wearing a metal domino mask.

“Avon,” I said as she watched down below with me from the rafters.

“It really is a nice club. Shame about who owns it,” she stated.

“I guess,” I said. “Now, are you going to tell me who you are?”

“Why do you need to know that?” she asked.

“Because in this day and age anyone unknown tends to be bad news,” I replied as I sipped a gin.

Avon laughed and said, “I suppose so. But the real troublesome days are just ahead. Especially with Xero in our future.”

“Well, she ain’t going anywhere at the moment,” I sighed.

“True, and there’s not much I can do about her. I can’t do anything,” she sighed sadly. “However…”

I watched down below as all of the corks started shooting off the alcohol bottles and flinging off the walls! Fireworks shot out of said bottles after them and the whole club went into a frenzy! People were running for the doors as the sprinklers went off.

“^%$#ing @ss,” I gazed at the sight. “You did this?”

“The best I can do against her,” she said. “Soon, no one will be able to.”

The way Avon spoke was as if she knew something no one else did, something important. As if she had suffered some personal loss because of Xero. “Avon,” I asked, “who are you?”

She spread her arms out as a smile flew across her face. “Just an old soldier,” she said as a portal of light appeared beneath her feet and she disappeared.

“You!” an angry voiced screeched. I turned around to see an angry Xero who was soaked and breathing slowly, holding a silver hair in her hand. Oh, this was not good for me.

Xero

After giving the three guys a good cussing out, I managed to get the club dry enough for everyone to come back in. I went and sat back down with Lexa at the bar. "Hey, aren't you too young to be drinking?" I joked. She cracked a grin. "Sorry for the guys." She said. "Nah, it's cool. Look at them." I said.

Lexa glanced at her two friends, still hitting on Lightning. "Sucks, doesn't it?" Lexa shrugged. "Not really." I sighed. "Hey, Lexa." I leaned and grinned. "Let's end this Prank War for good." Lexa turned around. "What did you have in mind?" She said, getting a mischievous smile. "This." I snapped my fingers.

Not two minutes later, Xoncron and Rixec came running over. "WHAT DID YOU DO?!" Xoncron said. Lexa literally rolled off her chair, laughing. "THIS IS NOT FUNNY!" Rixec yelled, causing her to laugh harder. "Xero, you are cruel!" Lexa laughed. "Yep. And those Fred voices aren't leaving unless you both admit defeat." I said. "FINE!" Rixec said. "YOU WIN!" I grinned.

"And you, Xoncron?" Xoncron glared. "Have fun with your new girlfriend, Rixec." I said. "Your voice is-" "ALRIGHT!" Xoncron said. "Fine, you two win, just-" I snapped my fingers again. "Looks like we won." Lexa said. "Yep." I replied. "Alright, everyone, ONE ROUND OF DRINKS ON ME!" The crowd cheered loudly as the night went on.

Lexa

After the Xero's prank, I went home. Xero had asked why I was leaving early; I'd said I was just tired.

The truth is.....

For the first time...

I couldn't feel the music.

Why? I had no idea. I just couldn't

Xero was the last person I'd wanted to know about that....

The next day, the guys got home. "So, how's that hangover?" I asked from the couch as Xoncron and Rixec entered the door. Neither said a word as they entered their respective rooms.

"Don't worry about them; they just got a bit...too much last night." Sephirix walked in. "How bad was it?" I asked. "You don't want to know." He answered. "That bad?" I raised my eyebrows. "That bad." He answered.

Three hours later, Xoncron came out, with no shirt on. "Holy crap, Batman!" I said as I saw all the bruises and red marks. "What the hell did you two do?!" I yelled. "Don't. Yell." Xoncron said, wincing. I shook my head. "Do you need help with those?" I asked. "I'm fine." He said.

"Oh, really?" I saw Xero standing in the door. "So, how was the first night?" I asked. "Amazing." Xero said. "Oh, by the way, you, this is your bill. It includes any AND ALL property damage." Xero handed Xoncron a paper.

Xoncron looked at it, then did a double take. I looked over his shoulder. "Jesus, what did you do?!" I said as I saw the massive amount. "I'm not paying." I said. "How am I supposed to pay this?!" Xoncron said. "I don't know and I don't care." Xero said. "That is your problem. You and your...'friend' had better start figuring it out." She said  and walked out.

I shook my head and sat back down. "Nice job, Xon. Have fun paying." I said. "What?" He said. "Are you going to help?" He asked. "Hey, as long as you and Rixec are playing Ultra-Alpha-Male-Friday-Night-Smackdown, forget about it. I'm remaining impartial." I said. Xoncron sighed. "There's no changing your mind, is there?" I shook my head. "You better tell Rixec." I said.

I was carrying a pie I had just made when I ran into Rixec.

"Hey Rixec would you like some pie?" I saked.

"Not right now, but thank you," Rixec replied.

"Are you sure?" I said, "It's got a little coke in it."

"What?!"

"I mean sugar," I said. (That is indeed what I meant to say).

"No thanks," Rixec said.

"It's also got cinnamon," I said.

"Cinnamon, eh," Rixec said, "I think I will  have some pie."

"Okay," I said handing Rixec the pie only to jerk it away at the last minute, "Wait, I'm just pressureing you into this. You don't really want this pie."

"No I really do want some pie now," Rixec said.

"There's no need to try and spare my feelings. Next time just say no; it's a wonderful word we have to let people know when we don't want pie," I said.

"But I really would like some pie!" Rixec said.

"No you don't," I said, "I'm just going to go have this pie burned."

I left Rixec shouting no into the heavens. I took the pie to Lexa and we set it ablaze.

(I bet no one gets the refrence)

Lexa

When things got settled down a little more, I decided to dedicate to training myself harder. Like hell I was going to be damn princess of this group. I managed to convince Xoncron to help me out. At first, he hesitated to hit as hard as I knew he could, but after some...convincing, he forgot about going easy.

I panted. "Lexa, it's getting-" I struck Way To Dawn, making Xoncron blink. "-Late. We need to stop." I shook my head. "Look, all you are doing is wearing yourself out. Come on." He said. "No way." I said. "I'm fine. Keep going." Xoncron sighed and desummoned Way to Dawn, moving back.

"If you want to pull an all-nighter again, get Xero; I'm done." He said. "Xoncron, please!" I said and followed him as he walked away from the castle postern. "Why is it you keep insisting on me training you?" He asked. "Because I know you won't try anything funny." I said. "....And you are the most powerful in the group and I don't have to worry about doing something stupid."

Xoncron smacked me upside the head. "What?!" I said. "WHAT WAS THE HECK WAS THAT FOR?!" Xoncron chuckled. "Xoncron, I'll never understand you." I said. "So...you want training, huh?" He said after a while, grinning. "I don't like that look and I really don't like you when you get that look." I said. "Question: does this belong to you?" Xoncron held up my I-Pod. "Hand that back!" I reached up for it.

One of the disadvantages of being 5'4: friends tend to play keep-away. "You want it?" Xoncron said. "Yes, now hand it over!" I said, jumping for it. "You're going to have to learn to run fast, then!" He ran down to the bailey and disappeared into the shadows. "JERK!" I ran after him.

Unable to find him, I...well, it's not cheating if there aren't any rules! I went back home and asked Rixec where Xon had gone off to. "He said something about hiding out in the castle. Better run fast, he's only there for the next...15 minutes."

I ran toward the castle and summoned the Glider to gain entrance. "Game's up, Xon, I know you're in here!" I walked into the castle chapel. My voice echoed against the dark stone. "Geez, it's creepy in here." I walked out into the center. "Xon?" I called out. Maybe I'd missed him....

I suddenly felt someone wrap an arm around my chest tightly, pulling back. Instinctively, I threw him over me and onto the ground, summoning Void Gear. Before I got a good look, he had disappeared. "Xon, this isn't funny!" I said. The room went pitch black as I looked around. "You wanted training, you got it." I heard Xon say. "What-" I heard a noise and swung up Void Gear, feeling Way to Dawn's weight hit it hard.

"Good, good: you get the point of this exercise. You can't see, but you can still hear. Win, and I'll hand your I-Pod back. Lose and you'll regret it." I heard Xoncron say somewhere to my right. I struck out with Bond of Flame in my other hand. "Dual wielding this time?" Xon said to my left this time. I leaped at him, touching nothing but air. "Come on, Lexa, you're better than this!" Xoncron said. "Give my sight and I'll be mopping the floor with you." I retorted.

The fight didn't go well at first. Xoncron was kicking my ass badly, and getting more bold in his smart-ass comments. The room went silent.

Open your eyes, Lexa.

I opened them. I saw not the dim light of the moon through the stained glass of the chapel, but bright light as I saw Xoncron and myself. Violet light pulsated from Xoncron as I heard every hidden melody, harmony and beat of the world around me. I couldn't quite place what the song from Xoncron was, but it was...instrumental, serious and...

Strike.

I yelled and moved forward. Xoncron hit Void Gear and then caught Bond of Flame with his other hand. "Whoa!" I heard him say, voice amplified. I grinned. This was more like it!

We entered a phase of flurried blows, neither one of us winning nor losing. It wasn't like I was stronger than him, because I definitely wasn't. It was...I'm still trying to work out how it was, but it was like I could see all the light in his heart and all the light around me and I moved accordingly.

I saw an opening and I took it. I tripped Xon on Void Gear and pinned him down with Bond of Flame. "I win." I said. "Not quite." I suddenly found myself on my back, my normal sight returned to me. "Well done." Xoncron said and helped me up.

"You're getting better. I needed to get you motivated. You tend to do much better with a goal. How did you find out I was up here?" He asked as he handed back my I-Pod. "Rixec." I shrugged. "Ah. You cheated." He replied. "It's not cheating if there's no rules." I retorted as we made our way out.

Time passed.....

Me and Xoncron continued to train in between the randomness that occurred constantly in the days that past. It was on the 20th day of vacation that the reality of the world decided to break the tranquility we had....

"LEXA!" I looked up, utterly shocked. "WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT!?" Rixec said as I lowered Void Gear. "I-I-I don't know." I said. I'd had my third black-out that day. I kept on seeing through another's eyes. This black out had the misfortune of being violent. "Lexa-" I felt someone whirl me around. "Was it Vanitas?" Sephirix demanded.

"I-I don't-"

"Lexa, don't lie!"

"HEY!" Xoncron pried me from his grip. "Look, whatever it was, we may never know: this is not the time to be jumping to conclusions. And you-" Xoncron glared at Sephirix. "-Hands off. That's not from me, that's from him."

Things calmed down after a few hours. I was about to hit the sack when Sephirix came up to me. "Hey, Lexa. Might I ask what the best way to burn something is?" I rolled my eyes. "Pranking Xon again?" I sighed.

"The best way is to use kerosene, gasoline or most household products. Did you know that hairspray, of all things, is highly flammable..." I listed out all of the stuff I knew about pyro-ness. "....And, above all else, unless you have a master pyro nearby, DO NOT EVER mess with propane tanks. 'Kay?" I said. "Well, I'm going to sleep. Later." I walked into my room, kicking Xero off my bed (due to property damage from an incident at C.O., she decided to stay here overnight, or at least until the flames died out).

Thunder boomed and I started awake. I slowed my heart beat. I sniffed. "Jesus, someone's house is burning." I sensed a big fire nearby. "Just what I need: a rainy night and a bloody house is on fire...." I slipped on my coat and walked out the front door. I looked around the town. I didn't see any signs of fire. I realized then the fire was coming from back home. I ran back behind the house.

I saw Sephirix standing next to a bonfire.

It took me three seconds to realize what was burning. The suitcase, the journal, the envelope, the Wayfinder, in a blaze...

It took only one for me to loose my lid completely.

I would have blacked out, but not this time. No Xero there to hold me back. I was pure white-hot fury.

I knew one thing.

Sephirix was going to pay.

Xero

I sensed the balance between me and Lexa shift. I immediately got up and jumped out the living room window. Lexa was ablaze, the most angry I'd ever seen her. I noticed the bonfire and its contents. Music coursed the ground as Lexa advanced on Sephirix. I quickly grabbed Lexa's arms and pulled her back. The ground shook as she, unable to whale upon Sephirix, turned her attention to making our eardrums burst.

Trapped in purgatory
A lifeless object, alive
Awaiting reprisal
Death will be their acquisition

The sky is turning red

Return to power draws near
Fall into me, the sky's crimson tears
Abolish the rules made of stone

I held tightly on to Lexa as I felt the darkness start to slip from my grasp. "LEXA, WOULD VANITAS WANT THIS!?" I screamed out in desperation. Almost immediately, the darkness returned and the music stopped.

"What is going on?!" I let go off Lexa as Xoncron and Rixec marched out. "Here, take her." I handed Lexa off to Rixec. "What happened?!" "THAT happened!" I pointed at the bonfire. "Is that-" Xoncron said. "Yes, but it's only a replication!" I said. "WHAT?!" Sephirix said, speaking for the first time. "WHAT DO YOU MEAN, IT'S ONLY A REPLICATION!?"

"I suspected you were going to do this. Luckily at least one of us thinks of consequences: if you had really burned those things, any and all connections left with Vanitas to Lexa would have been burned away, thus leaving what little balance we have to be shifted. And if you think I'm bad...you don't want to see an Anti-Lexa." I glared at Sephirix. '

"You need to go." I said. "What?! You aren't even part-" "Leave, Sephirix. At least until we can get Lexa sorted out." I said. "Do I really need to call a vote?" Sephirix glared for a moment, but left.

Lexa

"Here you go: unburned and good as new. No, I didn't look." Xero handed me Vanitas's stuff. "How did you-" "Get the Wayfinder? Wasn't easy." Xero shrugged. "Thank you." I held them close.

The next day continued on like any-other until sunset.....

"21 days...three weeks." I said. "Yep, only 9 days." Xero said as the four of us made our way home. "Well, wha-" A sudden burst of bright light hit the center of the postern. I shielded my eyes. "WHAT IS THIS?!" I heard Xero yell. A strong gale blew everyone but me back.  I opened my eyes as the light cleared.

Standing in the center of the postern was....

I fell to my knees, tears going down my face. He turned around and I stood up once more. He smiled.

"Hey, Ginger."

He opened his arms as I jumped into them and he spun me around, laughing. He set me back on my feet and we immediately kissed, though briefly, only a peck.

"Vanitas." I said with joy. I threw my arms around his neck and cried. "Lexa, are you crying?" He asked. "Yeah, I'm crying." I laughed and cried and smiled at the same time.

I looked into his eyes.

The missing part of my heart floated back and locked itself in, never to leave again.

"Man oh man that guy better have given me the right directions."

William didn't look the same as before. Gashes covered her face, hair shortened to a boyish spike, while the plain black clothes worn were covered in similar cuts.

"She better be here. So much explaining, questioning, and bashing to do when I see them."

Ouch she shouldn't of gone through Wonderland. Destiny Islands should of been the first place to look anyways. Just where on Destiny Islands? Maybe there would be a nice little giveaway somewhere.

"Lexa! Please tell me you're here!"

How the hell could William let this happen?! Better yet, how would she explain Ventus's situation to them?! It wouldn't be a easy thing to explain, let alone convince them it was true,

"What am I going to do.....?"

Rixec

I stood against a wall in a dark alley as I pondered what we should do next. After Sephirix’s burning of the copies of Lexa’s things from Vanitas and the return of Vanitas himself meant things were about to change dearly. I wasn’t even entirely sure how Vanitas came back – or how healthy it was that he did. It was good that he was back and all but people just returning like that was too good to be true. Either God had smiled upon Vanitas – though I wonder why he might – or there were dark forces at work. Not Xero, she seemed just as surprised to see him back.

“You think something’s wrong too,” a familiar voice said.

I turned to see Vanitas walking down the alley, crossed. Couldn’t blame him; he had been following us since he “left” and saw Vanitas’s miraculous return. No one else felt it but I could feel his anger and darkness – it helped that there was a connection between us though.

“Do I think Vanitas’s return is convenient?” I said. “Yes; but until I have definitive proof it’s part of some evil plan I’ll hold my tongue and see what happens.”

“You always hold back,” Sephirix laughed.

“Don’t know what you mean,” I said as I turned my head the other way.

“Come on Rixec, I may have burned that fake stuff but you were thinking of the same thing,” he said.

“Thinking it and doing it are completely different things,” I replied.

“Rixec, you feel like this relationship isn’t good at all too, am I wrong?” Sephirix smirked.

I said nothing. Vanitas had proven himself to be a valuable ally; I couldn’t deny that. But there were times when I thought his involvement with Lexa brought out the worse sides of the two. Every time something happened involving one of them we had a big mess to deal with. How would it play out in the future? What happens if they break up or if one should die and not come back?

And what would happen if one of them turned to the opposing side?

There was a lot that could go wrong from their relationship if something happened. Both of them were so emotional and I’ve been involved with what happens when they get emotional since I was a Nobody. Their passion for each other was good, but too much passion can lead to a whole lotta rage when the dam breaks.

“You shouldn’t have tried to burn her stuff,” I said.

“She needed to let go of him,” Sephirix said.

“Yeah, except he’s back now,” I told him.

“Don’t remind me,” Sephirix scoffed.

“Just keep your distance from us for the time being, all right?” I said. “Give Lexa time to cool off and enjoy Vanitas being back.”

“Just be careful of Xero,” Sephirix said. “The treaty is almost over.”

“Don’t have to tell me twice,” I grinned. “Oh, and please don’t do anything stupid like get in a fight with them – you’re totally gonna get in a fight with them.”

Sephirix started giving me the innocent whistle and I sighed. “Just make sure no one gets killed,” I said.

“You’re not gonna stop me?” he asked.

“I’m hoping you do the right thing,” I said. “It’s called trust. I hope you can keep it.”

“Later Rix,” he said as he started walking away.

“Just where are we all going?” I sighed.

There seemed to be forces working at pulling our group apart. Every day things seemed to get darker, like the end is coming. Just what would we do if it did?

I left the alley and started walking down the streets, hoping to clear my head. As I walked, I noticed a familiar presence. “William?” I said.

She didn’t see me, but she seemed hurt. I ran to where I saw her but she turned onto another street and I lost her in the crowd. “Damn,” I said. “What am I gonna tell Lexa?”

Sephirix

This bites.

Bad enough Lexa was p!issed at me, but to have Vanitas back on top of it all was just!

“^%$&,” I said, causing a mother nearby to give me a dirty look. Like I gave a damn.

The thought of Vanitas being back was messed up. Why couldn’t anyone just stayed dead? All our problems would be solved if they did. Wouldn’t have the Xehanorts to worry about any longer. I just wanted to blow something up for the hell of it!

“Trouble in paradise?” a familiar voice asked.

I turned to see Avon nearby, smiling at me.

“Just how do you keep finding me kid?” I asked. “Oh, and that prank you pulled got me into some serious trouble at the club.”

“She deserved it; the only thing I can do to her that won’t screw me up,” she answered.

“What does that mean?” I asked.

“You’ll find out in time,” she grinned. “Anyway, I want you to meet some people.”

“Who?” I asked.

“Come with me and find out,” she said and started walking off.

I really shouldn’t follow her. I had no idea who she was. But she seemed familiar and I thought maybe I could trust her. So I followed her.

After a fifteen minute or so walk we came up to an old house and were at a cellar door. Avon opened it up and started walking down. I went in and had to tread carefully since there were no lights on these stairs.

When we reached the bottom I saw a blue light appear in Avon’s hands and she pressed it against a wall. I watched as the wall opened up and we entered into a new area, completely different than the rest of Radiant Garden.

“We’re not even in Radiant Garden now,” Avon said. “Welcome to the HQ of SOLDIER.”

I knew that name; Sephiroth was once a part of this organization, it’s greatest champion. “I thought you guys were done for,” I said as I looked at all the people running around to different computers which showed different worlds and stuff. One thing I took note of was that they were wearing knight-like armor.

“This is the new SOLDIER,” Avon said. “I’m its leader and co-founder.”

“Co huh,” I said.

“Here are the other two now,” she said as a young man and woman walked over to us. “Meet Nita and Anders.”

Nita was an elegant woman, with long, black hair and lovely green eyes. She had a cool air about her and seemed like a formidable opponent. She seemed to be around twenty years old. Anders looked a little younger, like eighteen. He had crimson hair and green eyes as well. He pouted at me and turned his head. What was his problem?

“Nice to meet you,” I said.

“The pleasure is ours,” Nita said as she gave a short bow. Anders just “Tch!” at me.

Nita gave Anders a good kick in the shin and he bit his lip as he tried to hold in his cry. “Forive my idiot brother,” she said.

“It’s okay,” I shrugged. “I probably p!ssed on his favorite boom box or something.”

“I do not own a boom box,” he mumbled as Nita gave a small chuckle.

“So, why am I here?” I asked.

“We want you to join SOLDIER Sephirix,” Avon said.

“Only because of majority,” Anders mumbled.

Nita raised her leg again but Anders jumped far away from her. I liked this Nita girl.

“Thanks for the offer,” I said, “but I’m with a group already.”

“The offer is always open,” Avon said as she opened the doorway back to Radiant Garden.

That seemed too easy. Why go through all this trouble just to let me say no with ease? What was she playing? “Well, see you guys around,” I said as I went back.

SOLDIER.

Huh, I should probably tell the others about this but…. I was still p!ssed that Vanitas was back so I wouldn’t.

Speaking of which, I should go pay him a visit.

Vanitas

"So, how did you come back?" Lexa asked as we walked toward the house, hand in hand. "Ever heard of the Reaper's Game?" I asked her. Lexa stopped dead in her tracks for a moment. "That would explain the whole Pi-Face episode..." She muttered, pondering something.

"Hey, how do you know about that?" I asked. "I have my sources." She said and winked. "So, THAT'S why it took three weeks. Who was your partner?" It continues to amaze me, the things she knows. "Actually....it was you." I said. "Huh?!" She looked up, confused. "Yeah, it caused a massive quagmire for the Reapers. You think the Organization can't get their stuff together? You should see the Reapers. What a joke." I grinned as Lexa laughed.

"Anyway, Joshua couldn't find out why the Game automatically chose you, so I had to fight alone." I said. "Sucked, didn't it?" She asked, grinning. "Nah." I shrugged it off. "After I survived a third week, they let me off the hook." I answered. "I missed you." "Missed you more." Lexa said and moved closer to me as we walked into the house.

"This is our base? Kinda small, isn't it?" Lexa laughed again. "Someone's in a happy mood." I heard Xero say behind me. "Remind me again why we're letting the psycho into our house?" I heard Rixec chuckle behind Xero. "I told you, we have a treaty." Lexa said. "Who's idea was that?" I said. "Mine." Lexa answered. "Trust me, we've got the stuff that matters hidden." "Hey, what does that mean?!" Xero said. "I implied nothing." Lexa grinned.

I sat down on the couch. Lexa followed suit and leaned against my right shoulder. "You should know that's the happiest she's been in weeks." Xoncron said and walked past us. "Whatcha doing, Xon?" Lexa called back as he walked into another room. "Why do you need to know?" He called back, not unkindly. "Just wondering." She answered.

I looked down at the Wayfinder. "It looks good on you." I said. "Oh?" Lexa looked down. "Thanks." She blushed. "I'm leaving you two before it gets too mushy." Rixec said and started to leave. Lexa gave me a mischievous grin and yelled, "You know you're only jealous because you can't get any, Rix!" I heard Xon laugh in another room. "What was that about?" I asked. "Rixec and Xon have been fighting over the same girl for the last month." She answered. "Really, now?" I said. Lexa nodded.

"Hey, I meant to give this to you." I pulled a piece of red and black armor out of my pocket. "What is it?" Lexa looked over it as she held it in her hands. "Put it on." I said. Lexa gave the armor a bemused look. I sighed. "Hold still." I grabbed it from her and moved behind her. I slipped the straps of the armor over her right arm and tied it to her shoulder, pinning it tightly to the cloak. "What does it do?" Lexa asked as I put it on. "Come outside."

"Explain to me why we are in the Great Maw?" Lexa asked. "This." I tapped on the piece of armor. A black and red glider appeared, taking after Lexa's Keyblade. "Whoa!" She said. "That's-" "Yours. Come on, Lexa. Time to sink or swim." I grinned.

I've had plenty of practice-" "On mine, which retains balance, no matter what. Yours is untrained." I said. Lexa visibly paled. "Easy, Lexa: I'll help you out, okay? You are perfectly safe. You know how to drive, right?" Lexa shook her head solemnly. "You are 17 and you can't drive?" I said flatly. "...don't remind me."

Lexa is, by far, one of the most unbalanced people I've ever met. Not to mention afraid of heights. After an hour, we started to make progress, though. "Okay, time to switch things up..." I said. "Lexa, you trust me, right?" "With my-" Her Glider wobbled again and she steadied it. "Life." "Okay, then, jump!" I called to her.

Lexa hesitated then leaped off the Glider and into my arms. "See? I'll never you fall." Lexa smiled up. I landed the Glider. I saw something move out of the corner of my eye. As Lexa let herself off, I glanced at it.

That idiot was watching us the whole time, waiting. "Lexa, wait here." I said. "What?!" She said. Lexa looked past me and turned red. "I know that face; what happened?"

Lexa quickly explained what had transpired the previous night. "...I see." I said. "Lexa, go home, get Xon and come back, alright? I've got some things to settle." Lexa nodded and got on her Glider, flying back into the town.

"Let's take care of this little issue, then." I said to myself, summoning Void Gear, walking to Sephirix.

That couldn't be...?!

"Aw hell he wouldn't dare piss off Lexa?! Shit he would."

So explaining things was completely out of the picture. Getting near Lexa was too. Shit.

Silently she watched Lexa gripping Void Gear grow closer to Sephirix. Maybe she could play peacekeeper for the moment. After all, no one had seen William for a while.

"Yo Lexa! Been looking for your ass EVERYWHERE!"

Screaming the sentence from here spot atop one of the many sets of stairs.

"I got a bit of problem that needs your-" Despite her unneeded urge to not say it. "And his jackasses help. Me and Ven got Ito a really big snag with some people. Unforunately his new situation made it worse."

Her fingers clipped together, as she walked close to the two with the hope of stopping Lexa from getting closer to Sephirix. Argh why'd she have to be so nice.

I hadn't slept well the past few nights, as my dreams had filled with nightmares of a rising darkness that I couldn't remember. That is why I had decided to take a nap that afternoon. This time there were no nightmares, but my dream was strange none the less.

I felt like I was falling head first through water, heading straight for a large pillar. Then I landed on my feet atop the massive pillar that was a representation of my heart. The ground was a massive picture of me asleep surrounded by smaller pictures of everyone I cared about. The picture had a color scheme of 55% dark colors and 45% bright colors.

You have defeated the one you hate most and found the bringer of light. You are almost ready to seal the way. That mysterious that was always here said, telling me a variation of what it said last time. Suddenly, three pedistals appeared before me. Hovering above them were a sheild, a sword, and a magical rod. Choose that which you value most in battle, the voice said, Power, defense, or magic.

Without hesitation I walked over to the middle pedistal and grabed the sword, the representation of power. No sooner had I taken the sword, it went into me and the three pedistals, along with the shield and magical rod, disappeared. That is when the heartless and the nobodies began to attack. I summoned the sword and began to battle them.

I battled heartless and nobodies while makeing my way up flights of stairs to the tops of pillars that were just variations of the one I had started from. Many thoughts ran through my mind as I did this. What is the way? It's the way home. How does Rixec fit into all this? He has perhaps one of the most vital roles in the group. But I thought Norcnox said he wasn't important? It's Norcnox of course he lied! The bringer of light is meant to keep mine and Lexa's darknesses undercontrol so we can do our jobs and help me seal the way home. But thanks to Norcnox's schemes Rixec has had some trouble with that. But why does the way need to be sealed? So Norcnox's partner, the mysterious big bad that he mentioned, couldn't use it for his evil plans. He must have been lieing when he said he didn't know who the big bad was. No wait that was the truth! Norcnox never actually met the partner, so he didn't know who exactly the partner was. Norcnox only knew that the partner was more powerful then him and had been responsible for freeing him from my heart. Norcnox had actually planned on double crossing the partner but couldn't because we stoped his master plan. So the way home had to be sealed so the partner couldn't use it. But it had to be locked from both sides. That meant one of us would have to stay behind. It sure as heck wasn't going to be me. Wait, Rixec's my friend I can't betray him like that.

All of those thoughts ran through my head as I proceeded. Most of that knowledge came from Norcnox since he was once again a part of my heart. Eventually I reached the last pillar and looked exactly like the one I had started from. There was bright light in the dark sky of the dream. The closer you get to the light, the longer your shadow becomes, the mysterious voice said. Suddenly, I felt a presence behind me and I turned around to seem my shadow transforming.

The shadow changed into the true form of the darkness. A being that looked like a cross between Bizzaro Sephiroth and Ansem SoD's world of chaos, with several mouths, several black tentacles, and six batlike wings. I was a being of light. I summoned my sword and took flight with my six white angelic wings as the darkness and I began to clash. The prize of battle was the same as always, total control of the heart. The darkness and I had battled since Xoncron took his first breath. Yet we never had a clear winner when it came to our bouts. I knew one thing though. Over the years the darkness had grown stronger and taken more control of the heart. Our bout looked like it could go either way when suddenly there was a voice shouting, "Wake up Xoncron!"

I awoke with a start, remembering non of what had happened in the dream, to find Lexa stareing at me. She had a worried look on her face.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Vanitas and Sephirix are about to throwdown," Lexa said. " Vanitas told me to come get you."

"What?!" I said jumping to my feet. "We need to hurry then."

With that Lexa and I hurried off to where Vanitas and Sephirix were about to have a show down.

(Ignore my previous post. I messed up. So I am going to fix it sinc ei cannot edit the stupid thing.)

Well if this wasn't a familiar sight. Seeing Vani ready to beat the crap out of someone else.

"Oh man he must of done something stupid to Lexa. That would be the only reasons or Vani to beat his head in."

Then again she could find Lexa if she asked Vani. Asked him before he went into crazy, jackass, boyfriend mode because Sephirix did something stupid.

"Man I want to watch this though."

There was a good chanc Lexa would come here instead too.

"I'll just wait and see. If Vani finishes the fight I'll ask him were she went."
