Ya know, at first, I thought that the way they behaved with each other was purely as best lady friends...but then those subtle cues came in, and that's when my perverted mind started to round the numbers up! (Hey, don't judge me!  It's not my fault the X-Men have such yummy babes such as Rogue, Domino and Psylocke, so excuse me!!!) 

 

Like, in the final Episodes of Volume 3, it was becoming clearer that these two have a "more than just friends" kinda vibe!  I'm like: "If Monty actually intended this ship, I'm pretty impressed!" They've got kinda like a Korra and Asami thing going on right there!

 

But yeah, hey, if this turns out to be the case, this Merc With A Mouth won't complain!  Not at all!

My RWBY Volume 3 Episode 12 Review.

Many of you already brought up enough points speaking positively & negatively to the V3 final episode but, where do I stand?Simple answer is: AWESOME!!Minus killing Pyrrha, you just simply don´t kill perfect waifu material :(So, V3E11 still has the crown of best episode, V3E12 is the runner up.

Some time later I´ll talk about Volume 3 as a whole.

I have about a year to decide if I want this. No angry/red eyes face plate and she's skinnier here. (Threezero got lazy and reused RWB's body.) The only reason left I have to get her is because she's Yang and I have a display spot saved for here.

 

Fun fact: I and possibly a few others had to tell them they got Yang's scarf and stocks color wrong. (It was yellow before.)

I think you misunderstood the picture. That Yang was the ThreeZero figure that's finally getting a spotlight. It's due out by the third quarter of the year.

I have about a year to decide if I want this. No angry/red eyes face plate and she's skinnier here. (Threezero got lazy and reused RWB's body.) The only reason left I have to get her is because she's Yang and I have a display spot saved for here.

I really can't blame them though. They grabbed a manufacturer from Hong Kong, the place known for bootleg figurines. Nothing ever looks too good coming from them. If only they'd pick up Max Factory or Good Smile Company from Japan, especially with the Official Japanese dub out now.

I think they're too focused on what is less cost efficient and more profitable. They know we'll buy it regardless because it's a character we really like. I really want it, but I really don't want to push that kind of price for a low budget figure.

I think they're too focused on what is less cost efficient and more profitable. They know we'll buy it regardless because it's a character we really like. I really want it, but I really don't want to push that kind of price for a low budget figure.

You're probably right, sadly. If I have money to burn, I'll get her from retailers. 

 

At least pseudo nendoroids are in the works: http://myfigurecollection.net/item/397201 But I'm holding my breath till the final product is shown or the Minissimo line of figures get positive reviews as the line itself is new. I'm skeptical because I read the company making them has their final products not as good as the prototype. >_> 

 

Yeah, I've seen a ton of great work done from Japanese companies. Just a few who have hit or miss situations.

Umm I know I'm a little late but...I just noticed all the references to "black history" in RWBY...Blake (Black) and people like her are being discriminated and enslaved by people like Weiss's father (White supremacist) who basically think they are superior (remember Blake said they are seen as lesser beings) and because of that they are radicalizing and joining revolutionary groups that use violence like the White Fang (which is basically RWBY's version of the Black Panthers). It is also reminiscent of the current radicalization of certain muslims. Maybe I'm reading too much into this but the colors representing Blake and Weiss are really hinting towards that. Maybe it's just a coincidence. Anyway, kudos to the writers! That's a great way to approach racism and talk about it in their story.

They're more of a grey color. Ruby's eyes are clearly defined as silver.

So guys, what do you all think will happen now in Volume 4?  Do you think that things will get worse for our young and brave heroes?  I mean, Ruby saw Penny and Pyrrha die, and I seriously doubt that chick's gonna brush off those deaths as if they were nothing, ya know?  I'm pretty sure those deaths will linger in her mind a long time...and I'm pretty sure Jaune's gonna be pretty depressed!  I mean, come on, with Pyrrha gone, he's not gonna be able to get laid with her! I wonder how Pyrrha's death is gonna affect him?

 

Also, anyone else thinks that Salem looks insanely and creepishly badass?

All I know is that things are going to get much more intriguing!  Osborn...wait, I mean Ozpin, is missing, everyone's split up, and the Grimm are all over Beacon! That's pretty tough!

 

I wanna see more of your character!  I loved your character development here, and I want to see more of your layers!  Not to mention more of your sweet, badass powers! I gleefully giggled watching you pull that stunt on Pyrrha when she fought Penny!

So guys, what do you all think will happen now in Volume 4?

Volume 4 will be a BIG wild card, there´re so many possiblities and directions they could go with (Yang, Weiss and Blake being the wildest card of all), these are my predictions:

 

Team RNJR will be on their way to Haven and we will probably get 2 or 3 episodes of them dealing with some monster of the week issue (and Jaune edgyness :wink: ) and they might reach destination by episode 8. 

 

Blake is likely trying to distance herself as much as possible from her friends to avoid getting them hurt (like Yang), she won´t return to the White Fang, though.

 

Now that the Ice Queen is back at Atlas, Weiss will get and arc where she will have come to terms with her father and probably accept studying in her motherland.

 

Yang....I have no idea where she´ll be going, I personally would like her not to get a prosthetic arm, she will remain fighting with 1 hand during the rest of the series.

 

Nora & Ren character development. They will explore their past with flashback episode.

 

There´s so much you can do, It would be better for me to stop think about it before I start entering in the FanFic territory.

Yang....I have no idea where she´ll be going, I personally would like her not to get a prosthetic arm, she will remain fighting with 1 hand during the rest of the series.

I think it'd be pretty lame to stick to her being 1 armed. I want Yang to get a synthetic arm. She'll grow better as a character as she learns to deal with her loss and struggles to rehabilitate with her new arm.

I've attached my new desktop background as a reference for ideal future Yang. Also, Ember Celica has a nice revamp in this art piece. she still has one as a gauntlet on her real arm, whereas there's a huge cannon of some sort made out of the weapon mode of the other one attached to her belt. It's pretty badass looking.
