And talking about the annual thing, it could be a running gag that they have in the company because back with the first RTX was announced they didn't call it the first annual RTX until the second RTX when they called it the second annual RTX because they didn't know if it would be a yearly thing or not, again I might be totally wrong with this because I haven't seen the episode of Free Play that this interview is from. I'm not saying you're wrong either with some of your critiques and some of them I agree with, I want RWBY to succeed, even more so since Monty isn't around to guide them as much. But it's a little early in the season to really judge this season we are only on episode 2 we just have to keep watching and see what happens

Look, I don't give a damn about "running gags". It's a screw up that they've been pulling since RWBY's inception, and I am getting tired of it. I admitted my mistake with the Harry Potter bit, but I'm not doing for it for this, because this is unacceptable.

As for critiques, again: I've been mostly talking about problems that exist in the entirety of the series, not just this Volume. But they keep popping up regardless, and the fact that this is happening only two episodes in and shows no signs of getting better even when the plot hasn't truly started yet is a sign of bad things to come.

For everyone's information, someone firetrucked up on the Vytal Festival poster with getting the year and/or annual text part wrong. Good thing I didn't get it lol.

GG RT now owns Screw Attack. Did Yang really deserve to win her Death Battle or was it all just part of the buy out? DUN DUN DUN

Well actually some other company already owns both, which the name slips my mind, but I see what you're trying to say. *brawl taunts slippy voice* It's a conspiracy I tell you! Edited by OmegaForte

Yeah, but Screw Attack itself became part of RT. They were both part of Fullscreen prior. So basically, RT is a subsidiary of Fullscreen and within RT is Screw Attack.

Also, who's the guy who animates the 3D Death Battle fights? He needs to go to RWBY department asap, although this may have been a very good reason (of many others I bet) to acquire Screw Attack.

I didn't think that that would happen... Idk why but I was thinking The Creatures would be next up for folding under RT than ScrewAttack

But I haven't been following ScrewAttack long, so maybe there's been mention of it or signs that I did not know about.

lol I already knew that. (Besides the company name, as it slipped my mind at the time.)Check the DeathBattle live stream video. (Tifa vs Yang.) I believe his name was mention. They even demonstrated how he made the moves and technology he used+comparison to what RT uses for their shows. Edited by OmegaForte

Or maybe not

Considering we barely even know anything about them nor has there been any hints given as to how they would be able to interact or know each other, maybe yes. :/

I don´t understand your comment, isn´t it suppose to be the clasic set up conflict, explain and resolve.

That's how its supposed to be, yes.

However, so far as we've been exposed to this rivalry, neither of those three stages have even been put into play despite "Qrow and Winter don't like each other" still being actively exemplified as a supposed plot point. You think there would at least be some kind of small hint by now.

Also I'd like to bring up that Raven has been dropped out of the plot as quickly as she was put in.

1. "Qrow and Winter don't like each other" This can work as the set up for their conflict, which will later be explained and might be resolve in this volume (if not in future ones)

2. Too early to tell if she has been dropped out of the plot, she could pop up in vol 3/4/5.

Them not liking each other is the conflict, not the set-up. The set-up would be why they don't like each other, which again, no info. whatsoever.

The fact that Volume 2 ended with her and hasn't been addressed again even in developmental stages for 3 is a problem, and no, waiting for her to appear in future volumes would just be stupid.

Qrow to Winter could be like Ruby was to Weiss before they started, but the former two never got close to each other. Alternatively, and more funnily, but kinda dumb, they could have had a thing with each other and Qrow couldn't commit because he became a drunkard at some point. I like that more lmao

She SHOULD still appear in Volume 3, even if it's small cameos here and there. Edited by Jaune Arc
