My thoughts on the newest episode, where we set up the next big adventure to come and more:

First, the good: my boy, Ironwood, laying the truth on Ozpin and Glynda. This guy knows how to get shit done, and I was so glad that he decided to call out Ozpin for the Cinder Squad's invasion of the campus. I've been sick and tired of this white haired doof's crap since the second season began. However, little by little, he's starting to win me back, but more on that later. Next we have the hilarious introduction of Ruby's and Yang's dog, whose name escapes me. And while he is hilarious in every way, from Weiss going total fangirl for him and Blake being scared of him, I wonder just what plot relevance he'll have later on, if he will at all. I mean, why else drop the dog in all of a sudden? There has to be a reason. And then, we have Ozpin bending the rules for Team RWBY to go on their mission. I have this as part of the good because, well... I like this. Yeah, I know, it's weird: you'd think that I'd hate the fact that he has to bend the rules of his own school, but again, its in a good place, plus it shows that both he and Team RWBY are really starting to clue in on serious shit is right now, not just that but the whole concept of sending the other teams on these missions and whatnot. So I give it a pass. Finally, we have the Huntsman that Team RWBY is going to shadow: Oobleck. Motherf*cking Oobleck. xD This guy is living crack, I tell you, and hopefully he'll be as whacky and totally out there as he was when we first saw him while at the same time kicking a little ass on the side.

And now the bad; Ozpin and Glynda (well mostly Glynda because Ozpin has a good point) shitting on Ironwood. Glynda is annoying, I'll just say that right here. Ironwood actually knows how to get shit done. That's what I like about him. No waiting, no dumbassery, just get in there, raise hell, and be done with it. Like I said earlier, though, Ozpin has a good point in that Ironwood shouldn't try to go the southeast guns a-blazing, It'd be best to assess the situation further first. Btw, this is also part of the reason why Ozpin is winning me back. Still, I think Ironwood is a on a much better level of understanding just what the f*ck goes on than those two. Though obviously, he's probably got his own agenda going at the same time so I can't really root for him all the way. :/ The only other thing I thought was bad was that I'm starting to notice that Team RWBY (like other things) is starting to overshadow the other teams a bit. Where's JNPR's mission? Or even Sun's team's mission? Hopefully we'll see more of them in the future. I'd actually like to see pretty boy Neptune get his hands dirty, as well as the other team members we haven't met or seen yet as well as Team JNPR because they haven't done shit together since the food fight. lol

I give this episode an 8/10, an improvement over last week which is surprising considering we didn't get any action this week.

Frankly, I'm glad there's more team RWBY stuff. It seems like we've been lacking with them recently, considering the dance number with JNPR in the previous episode, and interactions with the individual side characters. Jaune himself has had more development than any other character, I think. Also meeting team CFVY was really nice. And I'm not defending team RWBY because I'm Yang. I'm just pointing out that the series is called RWBY. The members of team RWBY are the main characters. And they're about due for character development.

What we're lacking in is Team JNRP and co. actually fighting or doing something relevant. Did you not catch that in my analysis? I'm not an idiot, Team RWBY are the main characters, and hence, they're always developing with each new step. The other teams, the ones that are being presented alongside that is, are not.

Hey, never called you an idiot.

And I missed the "fighting rather than dialogue" thing. I skimmed through your analysis during class and missed it. My mistake.

Still rooting for character development from Yang, Nora, and Ren. They seemed to have kept their personalities (for the most part) lately.

It's fine, but next time, don't skim my argument before you decide to counter against it. I always take into account every word I say right down to the detail and when somebody doesn't do that or misunderstands why I'm trying to say, I feel like I'm either talking to the wall or the other guy/girl thinks I'm a moron. But just don't do that and then we'll be fine and dandy, alright?

I disagree on the whole idea with Ironwood. Then again, that portion of who's right, and who's wrong is more opinionated, plus we dunno too much about the past between these characters.
