His name's meaning and his affinity for the color yellow may be a reference to his apparently weak and timid behavior. "Yellow" and "yellow belly" can be slang for coward. His symbol, a yellow, double crescent moon, could be a reference to his voice actor and RWBY writer Miles Luna, whose last name is literally Latin for "Moon". This could also have some relation to the unusual moon in the RWBY world, though how so is currently unknown. Due to the his name...maybe him and Yang will become enemies? AND THIS.... Jauby is a great ship but I'm scared to ship it because Jaune Arc is based off of Jeanne D'Arc. And I have a really bad feeling about how he's going to die considering. . . . . . Joan of Arc was burned at a stake. So since Yang is associated with fire. . . no NO NO NO NO. That also contributes. He and Yang may become enemies. The second bullet....
