Tails 6,692 Posted November 9, 2012 So, has anyone on this site ever been bullied or picked on before? for me, nope I never had any bullies pick on me. Everyone thinks it's cool to see a two-tailed fox (plus they know that Sonic will be there to help me if I ever get bullied) 3 Sonic, Amon and Marth reacted to this
Robbie the Wise 5,050 Posted November 9, 2012 (edited) Yeah but I put a stop to it before it really had a chance to take off, needless to say they failed in their attempt. I bet sonic bullies you for fun. Edited November 9, 2012 by devereauxr 1 HarLea Quinn reacted to this

Queen Tery 4,591 Posted November 9, 2012 Yup, I got bullied quite a bit growing up. It never escalated too far and things were fine by high school, but it's definitely made me far more shy around people I don't know. 1 DarkLoboXIII reacted to this
Marth 338 Posted November 9, 2012 Yes, but each time that happens I get stronger, emotionally.
Weiss 8,279 Posted November 9, 2012 A bit. Not as much as what some people get but I did get bullied when I was younger.
baylaust 2,531 Posted November 9, 2012 I was picked on viciously as a child. Mostly because of my weight. I was beat up, called names, when I'd walk home people walking by me would call me a "fat bitch," I believe their words were. It was horrible. But I got through it, and it made me a stronger person in the end. 1 DarkLoboXIII reacted to this
Amon 4,279 Posted November 9, 2012 I'm pretty sure everyone has at some point. All you need to do to get it to stop is stand up for yourself, have someone else stand up for you, or simply ignore it. Bullying really isn't the pandemic that the media makes it out to be these days. The extremely serious cases that you hear on the news are not very common. This doesn't mean "normal" bullying should go ignored, far from it, but people just need to think with a level head and figure out a way to fix their issue. There is no way to get rid of bullying worldwide forever. It's sadly part of human nature to make up for insecurities by taking them out on others. Very few people act like a jackass because that's how they are. Most of the time it can be attributed to poor parenting, mostly parents not being there to teach their kids right from wrong, but some bullies have their own serious issues that they take out on others to cope with. 1 Sigrun reacted to this
Sonic 487 Posted November 9, 2012 used to when i was younger, i think i started intimidating people after that though because i was never messed with. I don't think i'm intimidating at all though, i'm like a fluffy teddy bear.

wayfinder823 477 Posted November 9, 2012 Umm... kinda. But it wasn't anything horrible. It mainly just gossip and some back-stabbing. 6th grade was the worst. I felt very alone. But then I turned 12 and joined a church youth group, and that seriously changed my life.

VanitasisKirby 1,227 Posted November 9, 2012 Yeah, I've been bullied before, and I still am. People made fun of me for being a "nerd" and some other stuff.
Geralt 4,874 Posted November 9, 2012 I have been for years ._. Mainly cause i've always been such a short guy and because I never fought back with people so I was an easy target. But heh these days I seriously dont give a damn anymore what people think of me. I am who I am and that's how it's gonna be 1 DarkLoboXIII reacted to this

Dracozombie 4,554 Posted November 9, 2012 Yes. I deserved every single instance of it. It's what I get for having a footstool's common sense and an adamant refusal to accept any kind of criticism without breaking into tears or lashing at them, no matter how valid or helpful that criticism was. Nope, I thought I was a blameless angel. It got to the point where I was eating lunch in the bathroom to avoid all the guys making fun of me, but I still know I got what was coming to me back then. The others here say that their bullying made them stronger. Mine taught me about the consequences of your actions, how if you act like a dipshit, the world's gonna get back at you. Boy, did it get back at me. I didn't even realize the bullying was a punishment until a year after it stopped. It certainly would've saved me embarrassment if I'd known what I knew now. 1 MyDixieRect reacted to this
darkchaser 788 Posted November 9, 2012 Yup i was bullied. I remember on the bus ride home everyday. 1 day i couldn't take it anymore and punch the main bullied in the face. After that they never came near me again
CloakedSchemerX 1,011 Posted November 9, 2012 Not neccessarily bullied, more like discriminated. Not race, not my sex, just my height. That's what pissed me off, that they would decide to discriminate me and exclude me from their slightest concern, ONLY because I was unusually small. Later on though, people knew me as a good friend mainly meeting me in the first place BECAUSE of my height, and after that, new people actually attempted at full-on bullying me, only to be stopped by their friends whom I knew. Although, if I go to a completely different high school next year, with people I don't know at all, I really feel like I'd be a primary bullying target. Oishii 3,987 Posted November 9, 2012 The one time someone tried to bully me, a group of people I barely knew stood shoulder to shoulder as a protective barrier around me. The bully gave up and never bothered me again. Least to say, I will never forget that. 1 Kinode reacted to this
Shana09 5,769 Posted November 9, 2012 I've been picked on and discriminated many times, it gets less and less severe as time goes by. Elementary: The only memories I have were the times I got made fun of, and I really disliked elementary because of that. I was name called and made fun of for being too shy, too nice and was used almost all the time. Looking back, I don't know how people manage to hate on a person for being too shy and too nice. I got talked by guidance counselors saying that I have to be a bit more mean and be a lot more open. How can I be more open if people hate me so much on being nice? How can I just be mean? This makes no damn sense. Also with all the racism going around against Indians, since I was part-Indian and my family is very Punjabi tradition, they of course called me a terrorist at times? A lot of times they did it to the part where they hurt me and I ended up crying. I toughened up a lot tho, and I did open up gradually, but still quite shy as of now. (ima break this down since each grade is different) 6 Grade: In the beginning people did bully others, since everyone was different. I took it as bullying but they didn't really mean to, even though their jokes were highly offensive. Later on they started to like me and later on everyone in the class loved me for once for being me, a nice yet shy girl. It was a lot better than Elementary. 7th Grade: Things kind of became a bit worse, not that much. Couple of fights here and there, and a lot of backstabbing. I have been backstabbed quite a few times, everyone got backstabbed though. 8th Grade: Holyfiretrucks this is awful. Everyone started fighting, either verbally or physically. People called me emo since I was in a depression for quite sometime (before I got to this site) due to home issues and school issues. I got backstabbed much more, made fun of and used completely. Guys ended up punching me because I left them since they were becoming such dicks to others. Guys called me anorexic and a slut and much more just for no reason whatsoever. Thankfully, in the end we started loving each other again and didn't bully each other. I toughened a lot throughout the time I got bullied, I wasn't bullied all the time, but at times it really does hurt.
