Overexplain a topic mentioned above you.

Recommended Posts

Hopefully the topic is self-explanatory but I got this idea while posting on "Ban the User above you!" But either way, it's quite simple, all you have to do is overexplain a topic that the person above you mentions.

(I.e): Mindless overexplaining jibber jabber

(And here mention a topic for whomever posts after you like): Gilgamesh.

Then you would overexplain the topic mentioned, in my case for describing, explaining, and showing an example of: Gilgamesh.

Gilgamesh, most likely more well-known in the series of Final Fantasy had his name originated from one of, if not the first books ever found. Specifically titled, The Epic of Gilgamesh. In The Epic of Gilgamesh, the story is mainly about the friendship between Gilgamesh and his companion Enkidu, whom allies with Gilgamesh even in Final Fantasy on several games, most notably Final Fantasy V where Gilgamesh also made his debut. Back to the Epic of Gilgamesh, Enkidu and Gilgamesh are wild men created by Gods. Together they do defeat several enemies, however, Enkidu is later punished to death. Gilgamesh distresses at Enkidu's death and continues his quest for immortality.

In the worlds of Final Fantasy, Gilgamesh is likely the most recurring boss fight in the entire series, but not the most recurring character, as that spot is taken by the name of Cid. In his debut game, Final Fantasy V, Gilgamesh is an antagonist alongside his lord Exdeath. Gilgamesh is fought quite a few times in the game, even once he is allied with Enkidu. Gilgamesh is more of a comedic, than serious enemy, as seen with his comments, low damage hits, and him gaining the infamous Excalipoor instead of Excalibur. He has quite a few comedic lines during his battles. Such as: "Now we fight like men! And ladies! And ladies who dress like men!" 'For Gilgamesh, it's morphing time!" For those whom don't mind spoilers. Exdeath eventually sends Gilgamesh into the Rift, or the Void as he fails to defeat Bartz and friends. Later in the game, Bartz as well as the rest of the party goes to the Rift, nearly defeated by the enemy Necrophobe. Gilgamesh steps into the fray and sacrifices himself to defeat Necrophobe. Not before telling Faris to begin dressing like the lady she is though.

Spoilers aside, Gilgamesh appears in Final Fantasy: Dawn of Souls as well as the 20th anniversary edition of Final Fantasy. Gilgamesh is a secret boss here, as well as many Final Fantasy games: Final Fantasy IV: The After Years, Final Fantasy VI, Final Fantasy VIII, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy XI, FInal Fantasy XII, FInal Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings, FInal Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Final Fantasy Type-0, Dissidia Final Fantasy, Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy Duodecim, Final Fantasy Brigade, Chocobo to Matou no Ehon: Majo to Shoujo to Go-nin no Yuusha, and even the Final Fantasy Trading Card Game!

I can actually explain Gilgamesh MUCH more in-depth, but I didn't want to spend a half hour. Also, your overexplanations do not need to be this long. And now I'll give a topic for the next person to elaborate on:

The unfunny joke, "Why did the chicken cross the road?"

The joke, 'Why did the chicken cross the road' is an older form of anti-humor. While it has developed, it is intended that when a person hears the joke, they expect it to be a funny punchline. The joke, however, is answered 'to get to the other side.' The joke was first mentioned in 1847, in the Knickerbocker.

...There are 'quips and quillets' which seem actual conundrums, but yet are none. Of such is this: 'Why does a chicken cross the street?['] Are you 'out of town?' Do you 'give it up?' Well, then: 'Because it wants to get on the other side!'

Other animals are often substituted in place of the chicken, often with punchlines relating back to the chicken.

"Why did the duck cross the road?" "To prove he's no chicken."

Death is usually defined as going to heaven or hell. But in some cases, you could end up in the shingami realm.

The Shinigami Realm is a barren, dry, and desolate land that is similar to Purgatory. The realm includes different landscapes and does not have human-like buildings. Shinigami tend to congregate in areas with bone and/or stone structures. There is at least one mountain or cave structure where Ryuk lives alone which is shown in the one-shot special of the anime.

The realm also includes deserts with various holes. The holes, which are shaped like concentric orbs, are littered about the surface. The artifacts have openings which let them see anywhere in the human world from a birds-eye view. These strange objects are what allow Shinigami to take human lives without traveling to Earth. The date that the holes were created is not known.

Naminé is the Nobody of Kairi, and wields the power to manipulate the memories of Sora and those close to him. Her first appearance is in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. She also plays a minor role in Kingdom Hearts II and appears in some cutscenes in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. The first part of her name, nami means "wave" in Japanese, similar to Kairi's name, which is derived from the word for "sea".

Naminé was born when Sora impaled himself with Ansem's artificial Keyblade in order to return Kairi's heart to her body. This made Naminé a very strange Nobody, born from Kairi's heart and Sora's body and soul. Kairi's own body never became a Nobody because her heart lacked darkness (since she was one of the Princesses of Heart), so her body and soul were never able to leave the Realm of Light and thus made it seem like Kairi was in a comatose state until she regained her heart.

However, this means that Naminé was also born without Kairi's memories, only furthering her unique status as an unprecedented Nobody. Yet she and Kairi are incomplete without each other, similar to Sora and Roxas. Because of the fact that Naminé is formed from Sora's body, she has the power to manipulate his memories as well as the memories of those who are connected to him, prompting several others, even herself, to call her a "witch". Ansem the Wise stated in his ninth Secret Ansem Report that Naminé is a highly unusual Nobody, due to possessing neither the body nor the memories that a Nobody is usually made from.

An eclipse is an astronomical event that occurs when an astronomical object is temporarily obscured, either by passing into the shadow of another body or by having another body pass between it and the viewer. An eclipse is a type of syzygy.[1]

The term eclipse is most often used to describe either a solar eclipse, when the Moon's shadow crosses the Earth's surface, or a lunar eclipse, when the Moon moves into the Earth's shadow. However, it can also refer to such events beyond the Earth-Moon system: for example, a planet moving into the shadow cast by one of its moons, a moon passing into the shadow cast by its host planet, or a moon passing into the shadow of another moon. A binary star system can also produce eclipses if the plane of the orbit of its constituent stars intersects the observer's position.~ But most people think of "Eclipse" as Twilight.~

(OMG, I've read the Epic of Gilgamesh and love that story xD Did you know it is the oldest surviving epic that exists today, even older than Homer's epics? Okay, I'll stop being a literature dork)

An eclipse is an astronomical phenomenon when three celestial masses align. This causes one mass to be blocked from sight for people on Earth. A lunar eclipse is when the Earth is in the middle of the Sun and moon casting the moon into the Earth's shadow. This can only ever happen during a full moon. Solar eclipses are more well known and observed. This occurs when the moon passes in front of the sun. Most solar eclipses are partial and require protective glasses to look out. On rare occasions, a total solar eclipses will happen which completely blocks the sun's diameter turning day into darkness.

Dammit, I don't like this topic. I was writing and writing then someone had to copy and paste from the internet and beat me to it. And I was about to get into the relevance of eclipses in Egyptian mythology D:

WIKI IS CHEATING

Wiki, a wonderful web source full of random information. Perfect for students who might need random information as well as for the many fandoms on the internet; if you follow a particularly hard to follow fandom, it can either be a good thing for keeping stuff straight, or a bad thing, as it can often be riddled with false information. Use at your own risk.

Next Topic: Nicki Minaj.

"Bausch" or 'Basch"?

Bausch is a popular German surname, shared by notable athletes, writers, and musicians throughout Germany, America, and England

Basch fon Ronsenburg is one of the main party characters in Square-Enix's Final Fantasy XII. Following the murder of King Raminas Dalmasca, of who's murder he was framed and accused of, Basch was imprisoned in the Nalbina Dungeons until his rescue by Vaan and company. He later returns to the party with the intention of protecting princess Ashelia Dalmasca, as both characters are members of the "Resistance". It is later revealed that Judge Magister Gabranth is Basch's twin brother, Noah, and is the true murderer of King Raminas. After the final battle in Xii, Gabranth is dies, accepted and forgiven by the brther that he felt had forsaken everything that they had shared. Basch then took Noah's role as Judge Magister, protecting Lord Larsa Solidor in Imperial Archades. Basch later returned in final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings (which I didn't play through. I hate RTS.)
