I loved the card system. It's what really sets this game apart from the others although I wouldn't want them to put it into another game (unless it was a retail card game :)).

I couldnt get on with it. I have learning disabilities, i couldnt understand it, was very difficult and i didnt get very far on it, i think to the first fight with Axel? Maybe a lil further. Then i gave up :(

I didn't hate the card system, though I did think the game got a little repetitive. My favorite part about that system was getting a Donald, Goofy, and Keyblade card and just spamming Trinity Limit throughout the final floor.

It takes a while to get used to, but it's not all that bad if you plan a bit. Play around in the lower floors, and you should catch on to it soon enough.

The card system is an either you love it or you hate it kind of thing but I doubt they'll remove it since it plays into the plot. They might tweak it here in there like in KH1FM but the card system isn't going anywhere.

It's basically just the card game "War."

 

If your card is the highest, you win. Except you can add up 3 cards to combine their value to make sure the number is really high. Also, if you use a 0 it will cancel the enemy's attack, and the same for you. Also, any card will cancel a 0.

 

The cards were okay, it was the game that was WAY too long, I got so sick of the cards... :/

If you farm enough moogle points for moogle shops and get good numbered cards you are set. My deck's consist of 9-6 numbered attack cards and some 0 cards to stop enemies from using powerful sleights. Then some spell's like fire, blizzard, cure and Cloud summon. For items hi potions and elixir's. Enemy cards Jafar, Oogie Boogie and Vexen.

The card system was nice actually... It involves much more strategy than other KH games (apart from BBS). Still... KH isn't known for having much strategy in it xD.
