A small rift opened up outside where Yuka was, causing a ringing sound and Jake fell out and landed on his back. "Ow, i can't believe i was on a subway track twenty seconds ago....with a train coming at me." Jake said to himself. Jake started to brush some of the dust off of his jacket. "That's the last time i leap before i think." said Jake. "Hey, wait a minute, this isn't where i wanted to go, i wanted to find that guy capturing K.T. operatives, (Sigh), oh well, best to just look around here for now, it's not like i'm gonna run into any trouble around here, when's the last time i did?" Jake asked himself as he surveyed the area. "Now, if i were a kidnapping protestor, where would i be?" asked Jake.

Dain

Dain smiled. "Yes sir.... Of course sir, they'll hit the ground before they've even seen me." Once his conversation with Albert had ended, he adjusted his arm's configuration, setting his pistol safety to off. He looked around, he was currently in the security room of the Iefrix Industrial Complex, a dead terrorist was slumped over next to him.

Dain had tapped into police radio signals when the crisis was yet to even be on the news. He was nearby, and easily found a way in. His first thought was to neutralize the eyes watching over the entire facilty, so he had arrived in the security room and promptly killed it's terrorist inhabitant. It was at that point that he go the call from Albert. Sometimes he felt like hie boss and he worked on the very same wavelength.

He looked up to one of the monitors of a nearby hallway, and spotted 3 anti-augs walked towards the security room. He breathed in softly, and suddenly all trace of him faded away.

The three men walked down the hallway, whispering to each other. The grip they each had on their guns was relaxed. It shouldn't have been. The one in the back suddenly slumped on the wall, blood running from his hair down. By the time the one in the center turned around to see what had happened, Dain had the forward-most one on the ground, and he took only a moment to grab the last remaining person. He held the man in his grip until he felt the guys go unconscious, then he dropped him to the ground and began to walk down the hallway.

Next up would be the hostages.

Devyn

Devyn turned off the screen.

"Ugh. Troubles, troubles."

Terrorists holding his people, not to mention Iefrix's people. He would need to send agents in. He set up his earpiece to transmit to top agents.

"Message to all Keihg top agents. My office, ASAP."

Now it was time to face the worst part of this crisis. The terrorists had both his manufacturing plant as well as Iefrix's, and Albert would already have people on the job, that would complicate things. He turned his computer on and set up a call with Albert Iefrix.

Ringing... ringing...

"Did you hear that Yuka?" Joah asked, looking around. "Yes. I heard that. It better not be someone trying to follishly break in here..." Yuka sighed. "Yuka...A shooting occurred last night at a women's house and is still under investigation..." Joah explained. Yuka got a big smile on her face, looking up at Joah. "Explain~" she smiled. "There was a maid who was trying to open the door to the womans room after she locked it, and the maid was...well Arabic. She shouted something to the woman...hoping she would open the door, but the woman's daughter would not let her break down the door after the maid threatened to break down the door. So the maid got a gun and shot the keyhole, that usually would not have an effect on things around the room, but when they opened the door...the woman was shot dead with a bullet straight through her eye." Joah explained. "What a depressing story. Well the Arabic maid shouted something before getting the gun, correct?" Yuka asked, as she fiddled with the strap to her eyepatch. "Yes...but she spoke it in arabic so what did she possibly say?" Joah asked, carefully watching Yuka as she took off her eye patch, blinked a few times and looked at the ground, avoiding eye contact with Joah. "Maybe the women said," Yuka said, looking at Joah with her eye, giving him no other choice but to stare at the Star of David. "Maybe she said: Please move away from the door, I'm going to shoot the keyhole!" Yuka explained, as she slightly smiled, Joah hesitateing to look at the bad scar and metallic eye. "And the Arabic maid shot the woman's eye instead. But it was not the maids fault." Yuka said. "What?!" Joah yelled. "The daughter caused it. She was going to own the house soon, obviously, and she told the Arabic maid not to break down the door, knowing that the woman would not hear her, she allowed the maid to shoot the woman, its not her fault...it's the daughters fault." Yuka finished explaining. "Your are amazing Yuka. Good job, now will you cover your eye back up?" Joah asked. "Sure. You may leave now. Credit on me." Yuka smiled as she started putting the eyepatch back on. "Bye Yuka, see you in two days!" Joah said as he stepped into the elevator. "Don't arrest the Maid, I know your thinking about it!" Yuka yelled as Joah went down the elevator. "Alone? Time...12:00?!" Yuka yelled, stepping to the organ as she played a chord of notes twelve times, marking the hour.

Alysande stepped out of the steamy bathroom, drying her hair. She glanced at the Tv and saw Raul's protest. The assassin sighed, and threw her towel into the bathroom. She put her index finger to her ear and spoke through her augmented ear. "Don't worry Dev, I'll go and take care of it for you. I'm a bit bored in the first place." she said in a sultry tone. She brought her hand down and walked into her closet. Her hand brushed through the various outfits hung up. At the very end, was what she wanted. A black, body-tight suit, made out of leotard material. It catered to her body's every need considering how flexible and comfy it was, and its various other features. She took it off the hangar and dressed. Afterwards, she walked out and grabbed a few weapons. A bow, knife, and a silenced pistol. Alysande turned off the TV, and tied her wavy black hair back into a ponytail. She took one last look into the mirror to make sure she still had some feminine charm. She might need it if she was captured.

Jack made several drifting turns at four intersections, still possessing a calm composure. He drived in a straight path to the scen, all the while thinking: Hmm, I'm making good time. At this rate, I'll be there within a few minutes. As long as there's no predicament, it's all relatively good.

(Just to say something now, I'm not going to be here tomorrow or saturday. I could say why, but I'd waste more time doing so.)

Devyn

"Albert! Hey buddy! How's business going? I'm sure you're quite aware of our shared... predicament. I know you're a decisive man, that's what I respect about you, but for both our sakes I just called to make sure you aren't being too... forward with the situation."

On his computer screen, Devyn saw a wireless request from Alysande to move to the location of the hostage situation. Devyn approved the request silently. It was now a game between the two companies of which could do the most without having to admit it.

"Understandably I don't want things getting out of hand... not to say that I think your agents are incompetent, but, well, it would be best not to take any chances,eh?"

"Ugg...why am I SO BORED!?" Yuka yelled, swaying her cross necklace back and forth. "I wanna go somewhere thats not as boring as this place..." she complained, putting her necklace on and taking her eyepatch off again, reaviling the bad eye. Yuka picked up her red covered book, leaving the eyepatch by the window, running down a lot of stairs. "At least no one sees me when my eye is like this" she said, reaching the bottom of the stairs, to the libary at the bottom. 'Bibliomanic' was her nickname, what else was she supposed to do? Yuka sighed as she put the book away, waltzing over to a small sleeping bag in the corner of the libary, laying down on top of the sleeping bag, opening another book as she began to read.

Jack was making good time until he went to a busy intersection that filled the streets there. Sighing, he figured it would take a while to get along, even with a siren on. He looked to his right to see what looked like to him a library. Tapping his watch, he thinks: I'll just go to this library for now. I can't stand being in traffic. I'll go in to find a t.v. and see what the situation is like now. Jack backs up and parks outside. He quickly gets out the car, runs to the front door and knocks hard, thinking it was locked for some reason.

Yuka slammed her book closed, standing up and walking over to the door. 'What kind of Idiot thinks they can storm in?' she thought, turning around. "One miunet." she said, running quickly up to the main clock room, grabbing her eye patch, snapping it on and russing down the stairs, slightly opening the door. "Why are you here?" Yuka asked curiosly.

"Do you have a t.v. I can watch? I need to know what the newsof the hostage situatioin is currently at. Also, is there any interesting mystery novels close by?" I said in a little hurry.

"No....but to your second question yes. That's easy. Stop asking so much questions...your so stupid. Come in and don't cause any trouble. If you do then you'll end up like my mother." Yuka snapped, walking away from the door letting this person in as I scanned the selves. "Here you are." Yuka smiled, pulling out a blue covered book from the bottom self. "This is not a libary, this is practically my home. Don't ask." She commanded, handing a book titled 'The 11 Hares'. "It's about a child, each from a diffrent contry as the get put on a ship, and all of them mysteriously die." Yuka said. "I'm Yuka, who are you?" she asked, handing the book over.

"Inspector Jack Rafton, nice to meet you, thanks for the book, etc. Do you at least know a street or passage where it isn't back up by traffic? I need to get to the industrial section of the city. Innocent lives are in danger!" I looked to the watch on my left wrist, making sure there was still time.

Yuka laughed sarcastically. "You seriously think I know everything about this place?" she asked. "Look 'Inspector', I get my job done here and cannot leave unless it's a good reason. I can't help you, sorry." Yuka sighed, getting bored again.

"Typical from you... " Don´t worry.. my "people" won´t gonna ruin your operation my friend.

So, for now i need to do many reseach reports so, i´ll call you later.

I put down the phone, then i turned on the transmitter:

- Dain. I´m sending you the data of the hostage´s area. I need you proceed with extra caution. Keith Technologies is on the work as well

Follow the corridor and turn right. There will be a downstairs, go down and you will be on another corridor. the first door to the right is the

place where hostages are imprisoned. I can detect rebel forces. So just be careful.

I said to him while looking at the building map on the 3D display.

"You think the slaughter of hard working employees isn't a good enough reason? This guy called Raul is willing to kill who knows how many people to spread a message if he doesn't get what he wants. Although I don't see the point in 'augments, enhancements' or whatever they're called, no one should die for such a reason. Wait a minute, are you even a part of the law enforcement?"

Yuka sighed as if she didn't want to answer. "Well when you have a demanding father who forced 'something' to happen to you and killed your mother right in front of your own eyes then yes. My brother found out about an ability 'something' gave me, and then he placed me as an off-scene crime solver. It's boring being stuck here all of your life. You need some help with this 'Raul' guy? Give me permission to leave here and maybe I'll help you, But you have to protect me or my father will find us and kill us both." Yuka said boredly.

Jack was holding his chin for a minute, then finally said: "Oh. I'm sorry for having to make you bring up something. Anyway, as an inspector of the police, I give you permission to leave. I have a feeling I might need some help with this problem." Jack looked at his watch and say: "It looks like we still have some time left. Grab anything you need and meet me outside, okay?"

Yuka gave a smile, nodding her head. "Finally, I can leave this hell." she said as she grabbed a small black-covered book from a self, then ran upstairs to the clock tower and flipped a switch on the large piano, running in a smaller room, looking around and then running out of the room, opening a small closet, finding a small full bag, grabbing that and putting on a black jacket, then putting on the hood, running down the stairs and arriving outside for the first time in years. "I'm ready. Thank you for letting me travel with you." she said.

Jack nodded and replied: "Sure thing, now lets get going." He starts jogging to the drivers' seat of the car and ignited the engine. He stayed in one place for a minute and said: "Wait a minute. The traffic. It most likely hasn't changed and I still don't know another fast way to the Industrial section. Shoot."

Dain walked right by the man. His invisibility was the highest class on the market, actually it wasn't even on the market yet, and nobody could see him. The terrorist guard walked by him, and Dain proceeded, no need for undue casualties. He arrived in the downstairs section just like the boss has ordered, and looked down at his built in silenced pistol. The function was incredibly, but Dain was struck by how seamlessly it flowed into the rest of his augged arm. No time for admiring augs for the moment, though.

First door on the... right, there it was. His pistol auto-cocked at the ready. He waited as he began to overhear their conversation and try to predict their numbers... just another moment....

"Shoot them?! An Investigator you call yourself but you go around shooting cars, or people or whatever!?" Yuka yelled at Jack, hitting him upside the head with her black-covered book, sitting back town why whipping some dust off the book. "Just keep me alive, not found, and kept secret. My brother comes searching for me every two days at the clock tower, some people from the head are after me. Be careful, they are after my eye." Yuka said, putting her hand over her eyepatch.

Rubbing his head, Jack says: "When I said 'shoot', I meant 'darn it' or 'crap', not the actual shooting from guns!!! Anyway, I'll be sure to cover you during the whole thing. Now" Jack revs the engine with the need for speed, "Let's find a fast route." He's starts storming with the sirens wailing.

"Well...this is what I get for being in isolation my entire life...." Yuka mumbled in absolute embarrassment. "Sorry. I clearly don't know a lot about the real world..." she sighed, looking to Jack. 'I hope I just didn't do anything absolutely idiotic...' she thought, then turning to the window.

"There's no need to get too worked up about it. Although, that's just what Raul will probably do if the presidents from both augment companies don't follow his demands." Jack said, making careful drifts and being sure not to get stuck in traffic.
