KHBbS Mystery of Sora, Ventus and Vanitas connections solved (Spoilers)

Thanks to Nomura explaining why. Now to start with Ventus and Sora. They didn't connect at the end of the game. They connected at the beginning of the game. Here is the reason why:

 

When Master Xehanort set Ventus on the tree, to let him die in peace, Ventus went to the Awakening and there are was station that was comepletely white. That was the light of his heart. But there was something broken off. That was the darkness, due to MX extracting it from his heart to form a new heart (Vanitas) to have his plan of opening Kingdom Hearts with the X-Blade work. We realize that his station is broken. And then a voice called out to Ventus and Ventus connects to the voice's heart and he was able to fix his station, allowing him to be live again, but without the darkness in his heart.

 

But who was that voice? It was Sora. And this is when he was born when he and Ven are connected. This also explains the relationship between Sora and Vanitas.

 

It's not Vanitas looks like Sora. It's Sora that looks like Vanitas. When Sora was born, he took on the form of Vanitas because of Ven. Which can be explained with two reasons.

 

1) Sora looks like Vanitas because Vanitas is apart of Ven. Even though Vanitas is now seperated because of MX, doesn't mean they are still not connected to each other.

2) Where the darkness was supposed to be in Ventus' station is gone. So when Sora restored, he took on the form of Vanitas because Vanitas was orginally there, but now there's light, so he didn't look excatly like Vanitas, he looked more like light verison of Vanitas. Brown hair and blue eyes instead of black hair and yellow/gold eyes.

 

And at the end of the credits from the Last Episode (I believe it's that one), a short cutscene happens with Sora and Riku, when Sora feels sad, and Riku tells him that someone is probably sad and should connect to him. So he does and Sora goes to his own Awakening, to find Ventus' heart lost and must go to slumber, and he ask if he could be apart of Sora's heart, in which Sora accepts, if it would make him happy. So Ventus joins with his heart. But not permanitally as it is not logical.

 

But not only that, I believe Sora gets his behavior and habits from Ventus himself, due to connecting at the beginning of BBS. The annoying (because he does it all the time) I-like-to-put-my-hands-behind-my-head thing, his bonds with his friends (which is his purposes in life), and what they said. When Ventus battle Vanitas for the last time, he said something similar to what Sora said.

 

Ventus: My friends are my power!

Sora: I don't need a weapon! My friends are my power!

 

And that's the mystery of Sora/Ventus/Vanitas connections has been finally solved. Hope this helps you.

 

*EDIT* I am getting tired of explaining to people as it is right here in the freakin post, but people are not looking for it, even if I don't say what age Sora is. I know that Sora is 4 to 5 years old through out the game. But in the beginning of the game, a cutscene happens where Master Xehanort brings Ventus to Destiny Island to let him die in peace. But this was BEFORE the events of BBS, around 4-5 years ago, at the same point where Sora is about to be born. And Sora is born at the same time when Ven's heart connects to him. So that's why you see him in Terra's and Aqua's story.

 

I am explaining very clearly and you guys are just posting things that are obivious. I may of not said that Sora was 4-5 in BBS, but is that really important to this thread? It's not, because you have to use logic and actually see the cutscenes, plus use the 10 year equation to figure out that Sora is 4-5 in the game, which would make this thread make sense. I don't have to post every single detail about Sora or Ventus or Vanitas to understand this thread. You just need general knowledge and there I don't have to keep on explaining, because all it is doing is making me angry and you...well a captain obivious. Just saying.

well, sora takes on ventus' bouncier traits at least, since ventus' personality was originally described as something like "a mix of sora and roxas", i believe.

Eh, I really don't see too much of any mix of Roxas' personality in either Sora or Ventus. It's almost like he's a different person. Well except for friendship and all that. All three of them care alot about their friendship. Like ALOT.

Did you not read my second post? The events happened before BBS when Ven was dying, and when Sora's and Ven's heart connected at the Awakening, that's when Sora was born. But this was events BEFORE, I will say it again, BEFORE BBS. And I said in my first post, at the end of BBS credits, the scene of Sora and Riku. I basically just told you that he was already born, especially after explaining that he was born before the events of BBS.

 

And if I didn't say that Sora was 4/5 in BBS, it doesn't mean that I didn't know. It just wasn't important to know that. Cmon now, I am getting tired of explaining it again :dodgy:

Well it actually kind of leaves you to guess. Most of it explains it, the rest you need to think about it. Like Sora looking like Vanitas, because of Sora only appearing 3 times in the game. They don't explain to you why he looks like him, so you have to figure it out. Luckly, I was able to understand it through Sora and Ven's connections.

if Vanitas wasn't the one who looked like Sora, and it was Sora who looked like Vanitas, then where does Vanitas got his look from? shouldn't he looked like Ven because Vanitas is part of Ven if this theory really is true?

 

personally, I wondered why Ven was able to connected to Sora, i mean like Sora was just born, he didn't have any power, and Ven was half dead. (To be precise, why sora, when both of them have no connection at all?) also, it occurred to me when both protagonists were from destiny island, isn't this implying something to the name of the world??

 

At the same time, the background story somehow interested me... all worlds were once connected, but then the power of keyblade broke the worlds apart and reconstructed them again. I think this might have something to do with the connection between Sora and Ven. (personal theory, ignore it if you want: maybe those who started it all will be to the one to end it all. kinda like it's fated or destined...)

Sora doesn't look like Vanitas. Vanitas takes over the appearance of SORA. Since Sora is the one who connected his heart to Ventus to make it whole shortly after Vanitas was created, Vanitus took on the appearance of Sora. Nomura said if any other person had done that for Ven then Vanitas would look like that person since he is a part of Ven.

 

And I think the fact that Sora connected to Ven has nothing to do with power and everything to do with the fact that he is a truly good person who shows that he can open his heart to anyone. Sora is the key to all the connections.

Keep in mind that the OP was back in FEBRUARY, before the Ultimania came out. The theory's pretty plausible considering the time it was first posted. Of course, now we actually know what happened.
