Text Kingdom Hearts: The Lost Star

Yes, another KH story. Enjoy this new KH story, as this time, there will be no Sora, Riku, Kairi, etc. They will be mentioned but not make an appearence. Instead, new characters and a different story...

 

The timeline: 100 years after KH 2. Sora, Riku, Kairi and the rest of the gang are long gone. But before passing away, Sora established Keyblade training for people. He trained them though the arts of the Keyblade. And they made it to be Keyblade Masters. And they did the same. The Keyblade Masters trained more and more people. Before long, the generation of Keyblade Wielders has been recreated, all thanks to Sora.

 

But darkness still exist. Inside in every heart of the Keybladers. And there are thoses who are willing to join the darkness. They are rumors going around that a Keyblade War will start once again. And the masters fear it will happen....soon.

 

But there are rumors that a descendent of Sora can stop or even prevent the war from even happen. Problem is, there only one descendent left. His name is Kevin. And he is not safe. If he gets killed, all we be lost, the war will destroy the Keyblade Society once again, and Sora would of died in vain.

 

The story starts out in an unusual way....

Introduction

 

"Since you are already 10 years old, you shall wield your first Keyblade. It's not a toy, and not a killer. It is used to protect the balance of light and darkness. And when you are 18, you shall travel the worlds and keep them in balance as well," said Master Miller.

 

Inside the castle, there was a huge room, containing statues. It had familar people as the statues. There was Riku, Kairi, King Mickey, Donald, Goofy....and the biggest one at the end of the room was Sora.

 

Today was special day for Kevin. He already turned 10, and was ready to become the new Keyblade Wielder. Crystal, his childhood friend, said to him, "Don't be nervous." He nodded and walked up to Master Miller. Above him was the statue of Sora, with Sora's actual Keyblade right there. Master Miller smiled to him and said, "And it is time for you to understand your destiny. You are no ordinary child. You are the descendent of Sora." Kevin's mouth dropped to the floor while Crystal gasped. Master Miller continued, "That is why you will not wield your own. You shall wield his." as Master Miller put his hand on Sora's Keyblade, and removed it. Kevin stared at Sora's Keyblade and put his hand on the handle. He put his other hand on it as well and removed the Keyblade from its stand.

 

Master Miller then said, "Welcome to the Keyblade-" He stopped when he heard something. Kevin and Crystal also heard it. Then a bright light shot through the roof of the castle and into the ground very roughly. All three of them ran over to the destroyed ground. They looked at what hit it. It was still bright and hard to see what it was. When the light disappeared, a boy, Kevin and Crystal's age, was there, badly injured. He looked dead but they saw that he was still alive. Master Miller said to the boy, "Who are you? Are you ok?". But he didn't respond. He picked up the boy but looked at Kevin and said, "Welcome to the Keyblade Society. Now if you excuse me, this boy needs medical attention." He ran off and out of the room.

 

And there was only silence.

Did you think this story was only going to be about Sora's descendent. Well think again. This is a story about a boy who mysteriously appears, with no memories. Without any purpous in life, he decides to fit in: by becoming a Keyblade Wielder. However, soon, the memories will come back, and the truth will be revealed...

Chapter 1 - The Boy with Amnesia

 

"Amnesia you say?" said Master Miller. The medic nodded. "Retrograde Amnesia to be exact. He woke up and just started blurting out things like, 'Who am I?' and 'Where am I'." Master Miller nodded and said, "Find out where he lives?" The medic shook his head and said, "That's the weird part. I checked his blood type. His blood does not come from any world. And when I thought maybe the system was wrong, I decided to check every single person from each world. Get this, his blood his not even close to anyone elses. It's like he's not human or something..." Master Miller sighed and said, "Fine. He can stay for a while...unless he accepts the Keyblade. And judging by the amnesia, he'll sure to accept."

 

Kevin and Crystal listen onto the door. When their master stopped, they both turned to each other just starred into each other's eyes, and then continued listening on the door. However, Crystal tilted his head down like she was tilting her head in shame....

Chapter 2 - Ryusei at Castle of Sora

 

The boy woke up. He sat up and saw the medic. "Hey, you didn't answer my questions! Seriously, where am I?" said the boy. The medic replied, "Hold on, hold on. Let explain something. You see, you have amnesia, it's a condition where you lose your past memories, which could mean your name, identity, and just about anything." The boy looked at him. The medic sighed and said, "You don't have any memories." The boy said, "Ohhh...well can I get them back?" The medic shrugged and said, "Maybe...anyways, a man would like to see you. His name is Miller. But we refer him as Master Miller. If you can't find out who he is, just look for the afro." The boy nodded, getting off the bed and walked out of the room.

 

The boy manage to find that same room where he crashed landed at. It was quite dark so he wasn't sure if Master Miller was here. He kept walking, almost into the hole he made, and found a statue bigger than the others. It was the Sora statue. Just as he walked up to it, the lights turned on. The boy turned around and saw Master Miller. "Good morning to you, boy," said Master Miller, as he walked up to him. The boy shrugged and said, "Well...what am I going to do here?" Master Miller walked up to the statue and put his hands on the boy's shoulder. "You'll shall become a Keyblade wielder." The boy looked at him strange and said, "Keyblade wielder? What's that?"

 

Master Miller then explained, "A Keyblade wielder is someone who can wield the Keyblade, of course. The Keyblade is an ancient, powerful weapon. It can used by thoses with strong hearts. We use it to protect the balance of worlds. Protect the balance of light and darkness. And we Keybladers uses them for justice and rightness. Others uses it for chaos and destruction. But that doesn't really matter. It still an mystery of how it was created, who created, and why. Not only that, we still don't know all the truths and powers of it. Even after thousands of years of wielding it, it's still mysterious..."

 

"And that's about it. We couldn't find your homeworld, nor do we know anything about you. So that's why...in order to stay here, you must wield the Keyblade." The boy closed his eyes and nodded. He said, "Sure why not? I mean, I will accept your offer." Master Miller smiled and said, "Well then. Welcome to the Caste of Sora. We'll shall let your control a Keyblade in two days and then train you. Tommorow you shall spend the day, getting used to the people here."

 

The boy nodded and started to walk off, but Master Miller stopped him. "If you're going to meet people, then you're going to need a name, you know." He closed his eyes and thought of a name. After a minute, he opened and said, "Ryusei. Fits you. It stands for a shooting star, or a meteor. Like what you did to the floor." Ryusei rubbed his head and walked off.

 

Crystal walked in the hallway and saw Ryusei heading in the opposite direction. She starred at him, while he waved at her. When they both walked at the same place, and then a shock was felt by both of them. Ryusei grabbed his arm while Crystal's eye twitch. The both of them continued walking, but once Ryusei walked around the corner, Crystal stopped. She tilted her head down again, and shook it. Then continued walking.

 

Something's fishy when it comes to Crystal and Ryusei....

I am so like how the story is coming out so far. That last part shall be found out eventually.

Kevin - Brown hair. Looks just like Sora, except his hair is not sticking up, it's sticking down, like if Sora's hair was wet.

 

Crystal - Black, long hair. Has blue eyes.

 

Ryusei - Also has black hair, but green eyes.

 

Master Miller - He's Africian American (Wow, an Africian American on a KH story, gasps. But you know, Square Enix is racist ). Has a black afro. He just looks like Sazh from Final Fantasy XIII, since telling genetic characteristics is too hard lol (Surpisingly, Sazh is actually black, I think the only black guy that Square Enix even made ).

Chapter 3 - Fitting In

 

Ryusei looked in the mirror in his bathroom. He seriously didn't look good in a uniform. His tie clinged to his neck, which itched a lot. Why did they have to have uniform regulation at a school only about Keyblades?

 

As he walked out, Kevin stood by his door. "Hey there Ryusei," said Kevin. "..." Ryusei just starred at him. He laughed and said, "Sorry, I'm Kevin. Anyways, they told me to come get and escort you. That way you're not lost." Ryusei nodded.

 

Ryusei followed him everywhere, and Kevin explained where they were and it's purpose. It was, "Here's the Auditorium." and, "Here's the Longue." There were so many rooms. The Auditorium, Longue, Cafeteria, Personal rooms, Nurse/Medic, Office, Training Room, Gymnasium, and Class rooms. It like a school...except a Keyblade school in a giant castle.

 

As they walked, a frisbee flies out. It almost hit Ryusei, but Kevin summoned his Kingdom Key and deflected it. Three people came over to them. A red-haired boy rubbed his head and said, "Sorry Kevin, it got out of control." Kevin shook his head and said, "Be careful, we don't want the new guy getting killed." The red-haired boy grabbed the frisbee and the three walked off. Ryusei asked, "Who were those three?" Kevin replied, "The red-haired boy is Ignis. The other two is Nero and Cartes. They're 12, two years older than us." Ryusei shrugged. Kevin and Ryusei continued walking. Why did thoses boys look familar...

 

It was lunch time, and oh boy was Ryusei hungry. He hasn't eaten anything since never. He grabbed his tray, and filled it with food from what was being served. As soon as he was done filling his food, he followed Kevin to his personal table. As they sat down, Crystal smiling walked to the table and sat down, fixing her skirt. But when she saw Ryusei, she looked down, and ate her lunch in silence. The same three boys came over and sat down, talking to Ryusei and messing around with. Others came as well.

 

However, Crystal finished her lunch quickly and walked out of the table. Kevin notice this and he said, "Crystal?" She completely ignored him, and she walked out of the cafateria. Ryusei looked Kevin running after her, but stopped when the Ignis was telling him a funny joke. Ryusei was fitting in pretty good.

 

Kevin ran out of there, but Crystal disappeared. He looked around for a minute and then sighed. He walked back in the cafateria. Crystal looked over the corner and notice him gone. She sighed as well and might as well go to her room.

 

A tear hit the ground as she walked.

If anyone can figure out who the three boys look like without getting one wrong, then I'll give you a cookie. You can already guess Ignis, the red-haired one. It's kind of obivious. But the other two is not. So I'll give you hints:

 

1) One name is in Greek and the other is in French. Not going to say which one. But the one that's Greek is the modern text, so don't get confused.

2) They have a meaning, coresponding to a similar person's power in the KH series

3) Both ARE in the Organization XIII

I used a site called Wiki Dictionary to figure out their names ^_^

Chapter 4 - Rejection

 

A clock went off. Ryusei opened his eyes, turned on the light and saw the clock. It was set for 5:00AM. More importantly, he didn't set it on for that time. He looked over to find Master Miller starring at him. He said, "Good to see you awake. Cmon now, you need to wield a Keyblade before training starts today." Ryusei sighed and rubbed his eyes. At 5:00AM!?! The guy was a looney.

 

Master Miller stood outside, while Ryusei changed. When he was done, he walked out and said, "Ready." Master Miller nodded and the both walked to the training room.

 

When they walked in, candles lit up the entire room. Master Miller walked up to Sora's statue, and said, "Today, you shall claim your Keyblade. I can see that you already 10 and that's why you're going to need to be a Keyblade wielder if you are going to stay here." Ryusei nodded. Master Miller was thinking to himself and after a minute, he thought of something. He snapped his fingers anda box appeared. It landed on the floor, and it opened, releasing a Keyblade. Master Miller nodded and said, "It's called Lost Memory. Familar?" Ryusei closed his eyes and rubbed his head. The Keyblade floated right in front of him. He smiled and put his hand on the handle.....

 

But the unexpected happened. A black mark appeared on Ryusei's wrist. Almost like a tatoo. It shocked him with electricity. Master Miller's eyes widen as big as his head. He did not know what was happening...nor did he even experience someone having this kind of event. The mark started to glow red. Master Miller backed up and suddenly, Ryusei's hand exploded.

 

Master Miller dodged the explosion. But, of course, Ryusei did not. He flew back and hit the wall next to the door. He didn't know what was going on, and was dizzy. His hand was covered with blood. The Keyblade that he was about to wield...became a death trap. The Keyblade actually flug at Ryusei with such strength. And it was over for Ryusei...

 

Until Kevin appeared. He stood before Ryusei and deflected the Keyblade away. It flied into a wall and was stuck there. Master Miller ran to the two and said to Kevin, "KEVIN! What are you doing here?" Kevin was uhhing the entire time, but eventually said, "I protected Ryusei from the moving Keyblade! He would of been killed!" Master Miller shook and his head and said, "You were easedropping. And that's why you need to go back to your room and DO NOT do this again. Do you hear me?" Kevin wanted to say something but decided not to. He turned around and walked through the door, and back to his room.

 

Master Miller bent down over at Ryusei. He picked up his wrist and wipped the blood away, revealing the mark. He continued starring at it until he picked him up and brought him to the medic.

 

Just like Day One.

Chapter 5 - Unexpected Shot

 

"His heart's not strong enough!" yelled Master Miller. The medic only shrugged and said, "Maybe this is just a tatoo and that the Keyblade is rejecting Ryusei." Master Miller shook his head and said, "No...it can't be his heart. I see great strength in his heart. Can you explain the Keyblade almost killing him? And the tatoo turning red?" The medic sighed and shrugged. He said, "Then I guess...somebody did this to him. And if the Keyblade is rejecting him because of the tatoo...then is must be someone who-"

 

Kevin was easedropping once again, but Crystal saw him and whispered, "What are you doing?" Kevin shrugged and said the usual. They both listen in.

 

"Do you really think that?" asked Master Miller. The medic shook his head and said, "Yes. How else would he-" He stopped when he heard footsteps outside the door. Kevin and Crystal looked at each other and ran out of there, back to their rooms.

 

The next month...

 

"Ok class, I said before that next class we were going to have a test on Sora, and here we are. I hope you all have pencils and a brain," said the history teacher. He handed out papers to everyone. Once a year in history class, there would be a study on Sora, who is "the father of Keyblades". They might as well change it to, "god of the Keyblades" if he is really that important!

 

Once the testing was over, everybody handed in their papers. When Kevin did, the teacher looked at him and said, "I hope you get an A on this, you are his descendent you know." Kevin shrugged and walked out of the classroom. Ryusei handed in his paper and the teacher said, "Hey Ryusei. Listen, I won't count this test. This is more of a pre-test for you. I want to see how much you know when you first got here." Rysei nodded and walked out the classroom.

 

Later on, the teacher was correcting the tests. He correct some of the other student's test and Crystal's. He then got to Kevin and starred at it. He sighed. It wasn't an A, but a B-. "What a slacker," said the teacher as he laughed. He grabbed the last one, Ryusei's and compared it to another corrected test. When he finished looking at it, he dropped the pencil.

 

Next class, everyone walked in. The history teacher yelled out, "I finished correcting your test. Only 2 perfects and a couple of As, but it looks like everyone passed." He walked over to Crystal and gave her test back, saying, "Fabulous as ever." She got a 90, an A. He walked over to Kevin and said, "I you would get an A on this. I expect more from you," and placed the test down. He walked over to Ryusei...but said nothing. He placed it down and walked off, finished giving out all the tests back. When Ryusei picked it up, he got a perfect 100, everything correct. It was like he was a wiz at this...but it was strange...he can't know that much of Sora....

 

The teacher announced, "Our two people who scored a perfect on the test was Tron....and Ryusei." Everybody looked at Ryusei, which he looked everyone and just slouched back in his chair. How did he get a perfect on it!?! Suddenly, he looked at a boy. It was that other boy that scored a 100 on the test, Tron. Tron isn't the Tron you know. It's a completely different person. Tron starred at Ryusei with a dirty look. He did not look friendly.

 

When the class was over, Ryusei walked out silently. Crystal just starred at him in her seat. She sighed and got up, picking up her messager bag. Suddenly, she felt a pain in her leg, and she held on to it. But she ignored it and walked out of the classroom.

Chapter 6: End of the Year

 

Yes, it was the end of the year. Well technically not the year, but the school year. That's right. Just like school. When the school year ends, it off to summer vaction! But of course, there is a lot more training in the summer.

 

It's been a couple of months since Ryusei's sudden arrival. As June came in, Ryusei was doing very good. He fitted in and was top of his classes. It was like the best time in his life. But the only two problems is not being able to wield the Keyblade...and Crystal.

 

After a weird incident, trying to wield the Keyblade, Master Miller decided to put off any training with the Keyblade, and use something like a wooden sword. But to graduate...he has to wield the Keyblade...

 

And Crystal...he notice she was acting strange. Her habits and moods changed when he came to the castle. She is acting so mysterious...

 

Ryusei was sleeping nervously. In two days, he was going to go on to the next grade, but he wouldn't because of not being able to wield a Keyblade. But this all change.....

 

A man opened his door and went over to his bed. He grabbed Ryusei's hand and looked at the wrist. The mark was still there. He pulled out a tube with strange black liquid. He poured it on his wrist, and it steamed a little, making his eyes twitch. It was still there, just a little line over it. The man gently put his hand back on the wrist and turned around. Master Miller was there, with his Keyblade. The man summonded his Keyblade and spoke with a deep voice, "I suggest you move, or you'll win a trip to oblivion." Master Miller said, "Who are you!?!" The man teleported right in front of him, and he said, with his hand on Master Miller's shoulder, "Think of me as a guardian..." The man started to vanish. Master Miller just starred in his eyes, as it became more and more transparent. Once he was gone, Master Miller closed his eyes and shut the door.

 

The next day....

 

Ryusei woke up, sitting up with a yawn and scratching his back. He looked over on his small table where he had a lamp there, contained a letter. He grabbed it and opened the letter. It said:

 

Ryusei,

 

Meet me in the training room. It's time for you try to wield the Keyblade again.

 

Ryusei starred at it and remember the past experience. He sighed and got dressed.

 

When he got there, he was greeted by Master Miller. He waved his hand over to were the statue of Sora was. He walked over there, nervously. Once there, Master Miller snapped his fingers summonded the same Keyblade. "Will you try? I know what happened last time was a bad experience, but you do need to wield a Keyblade, or you can't move on to the next grade. Come on then, let's try one last time." Ryusei sighed and went to go reach for the Keyblade. But his hand moved slowly and shaked as it moved. He closed his eyes and held his mouth shut tightly. And then, Ryusei grabbed it...

 

But nothing happened. He opened his eyes and released all the stress he had. He smiled and waved the Keyblade in the air. Master Miller smiled and said, "Welcome to the Keyblade Society." Ryusei nodded. However the fun stopped...

 

A student came running in, yelling, "Master Miller! Master Miller!" Master Miller walk to him and said, "Calm down, calm down. What's the problem?" The student stopped and tried to catch his breath. When he did, he looked up and said, "Crystal just randomly fainted in the cafateria. We try to wake her but she didn't respond. She was barely breathing!" Master Miller and Ryusei looked at him and both ran out of the training room.

 

One problem is done. But the other is still a problem....and it just got bigger.

Chapter 7 - Awakening...with a Friendship

 

When Master Miller and Ryusei ran over to the Nurse's office, they found the sleeping Crystal in the bed, with Kevin sitting on a chair next to her. The nurse walked to them and said, "You guys heard the news?" The both of them nodded and looked at Crystal. She had a oxygen mask over her mouth. It was much serious than they expected. "Who knew she would just faint in the morning and then barely take in any oxygen. That's not nomral when it comes to fainting...I think she could be in a coma," said the medic. Kevin looked at him immediantly, stunned as the words coma flew in the air. "The best thing we can do is to leave her be. For now." Master Miller and Ryusei both sighed and walked out, but Kevin said, "...May...I please stay? She is my best friend and I don't want to leave her like this." The medic just shrugged and went into his office. Silence filled the air expect for the beeping noise from the heart monitor.

 

Eariler that day....

 

Crystal woke up with a massive headache. She got up and got dress, for breakfast. Today was a Sunday, so she was able to wear her regular clothes rather than her uniform.

 

She walked down to the cafateria, silently. When she walked in, she headed right into the lines and grabbed a plate of toast, bacon, and eggs. When she walked out and to her table, she placed the plate down, and forgot the utensils. She ran back and grabbed a knife and a fork. She walked back and sat down. Nobody was sitting there. Not even Kevin, who was still sleeping.

 

Crystal ate a little bit before the incident. Finally, she cut her egg and went to go eat it. But she felt pain in her leg again, but her eyes grew big and then there was no pupils in her eyes. She dropped the fork at a slow rate and the knife right onto her plate. She got up and started to walk off...but suddenly just fell to the ground, eyes closing slowly. Students walked in and noticed her. They all ran to her and tried to wake her up. One of them ran out of the cafateria to tell Master Miller.

 

Tron looked over at her and smiled, then walking away...

 

Back in the present time, it's been countless hours and she has not awakened at all nor showed any signs. Ryusei walked over to the Nurse's room and walked in. Kevin looked over, with heavy eyes, saying, "Hey..." Ryusei tilted his head up and walked over to Crystal. He sighed and said to Kevin, "I think you should get some rest. Graduation starts tommorow." Kevin shook his head, blinking at Crystal. Ryusei just shrugged and placed a wild rose in her hand.

 

But Ryusei's mark, from his wrist, started to glow and then liquid dripped from his hand and onto Crystal's hand. Then the liquid slowly ran up Crystal's arm, down her body and onto the her leg, where a mysterious mark was on there. The liquid touched the mark, making it green.

 

Ryusei and Kevin did not notice the liquid. Ryusei turned around and started to walk out. However, Crystal's started to respond. Her eyes twitched and Kevin looked in amaze. He stood up and yelled to Ryusei, "She's waking up!" Ryusei turned around quicker than the speed of light and fast walk to Crystal. Crystal opened her eyes slowly, only seeing blur. When the bluriness was gone, she saw both Kevin and Ryusei, and weakly smiled. She got up slowly, trying to sit. Kevin smiled and said, "I am going to go get Master Miller!," and ran out of there. Ryusei put his hands in his pocket and said, "...Ummm, hey there. Finally waking up?" Crystal nodded. "Well that's good to hear," Ryusei said as he started to walk out. Crystal yelled silently a word, "Wait!" Ryusei turned around and walked over to her bed. "Yeah?" asked Ryusei. Crystal, out of nowhere, hugged Ryusei, and said, "Thanks." Ryusei blushed but looked at her strange. "Thanks for what? I just gave you a rose and that's it." Crystal looked at the rose and said, ".....Yeah, thank you for the rose." Ryusei rubbed his head and said, "No problem. It's getting late so I'm going to go hit the hey. Besides, Kevin shook be here, probably dragging Master Miller." Ryusei waved and walked out.

 

Crystal watched Ryusei walk away and mysterious blushed. Now why did she do that....?

 

Tron starred at her from outside the room. He grew angry and walked away. Crystal looked at Tron...but contained a scared face...
