CJ Smith 123 Posted October 14, 2012 It's been bothering me, why does he think he has caused everything bad up till now, it's not his fault. Do you think he will go with Aqua when she is rescued?

_The Door To Light_ 1,507 Posted October 14, 2012 It was his teachings that influenced the apprentices. But the man has my sympathy. Being betrayed by his students that he considered family.

WakelessDream 2,278 Posted October 14, 2012 Basically what Lea said, and lets not forget he's the one that took Xehanort in as his apprentice, and basically provided him with the facilities needed to conduct experiments on the heart and stuff.

AntonioKHT 449 Posted October 15, 2012 Well, like everyone said, it was Ansem the Wise that began the experiments on the hearts, and Xehanort went ahead with it, and that lead to the origin of the Heartless. If you see the video that Xemnas and Ansem the Wise talk about the past you'll understand more about how he feels. And yeah, I think and hope he escapes from the RoD with Aqua. I like him, especially because he was voiced by Cristopher Lee, he had a nice voice. Too bad they changed the voice actor, hope he comes back... deathrebirthsenshi 279 Posted October 15, 2012 (edited) He also feels guilty about what happened to Riku (turning into Ansem), Roxas, and Namine; even though his research showed him that nobodies could possibly grow hearts, and perhaps even become their own people, he ignored it because he wanted Sora to hurry up and wake up to take his revenge on the Organization, regardless of the fate of Roxas and Namine. If they had found a better way to explain things to Roxas...let him meet Sora...the Organization wouldn't have been able to continue their plans anyway. But they sort of took the quick and violent route. That on top of all of the other stuff. Just wanted to add that two cents. Assuming he's still there when Aqua is saved, I feel like he will be too, and will end up helping save Roxas, Namine and Xion. That or he's a nort. His orange eyes that match Ansem's and Xemnas' always makes me wonder...I mean, I feel like no one ever talks about the fact that Ansem and Xemnas' eyes are orange, not golden. Gambler'sApprentice 131 Posted October 16, 2012 He rescued Apprentice Xehanort, and under his encouraging began studies into the nature of the heart. When he stopped his apprentices carried on, creating Heartless, and using people in the experiments. This led to the creation of Ansem, Seeker of Darkness and Xemnas. His desire for revenge led him to kidnap Roxas, and force him unwillingly back into Sora so he could fight his battles. This lead to Riku being overwhelmed by Darkness. So really, the only game you can't blame him for is BBS.
