You must be kidding, having a heart is the requirement to wield a keyblade and who is more heart than Kairi and the other princesses? Kairi wields a Keyblade because she accidentally underwent the Keyblade Inheritance Ceremony with Aqua. This is confirmed. You don't necessarily need to undergo the ceremony to wield one but it's a sort of "letter of recommendation". Sora got his under special circumstances because the Kingdom Key let him wield it and he used it for a long time before it decided it wanted to stay with him permanently while Lea...I'm not entirely sure of the circumstances with him tbh, just that it has to do with recovering his friends. What's misleading about it? That's generally how people attain the ability to wield a Keyblade they under go the ceremony with rare exceptions like Sora and Lea. Without mentionded it, you could confuse 'generally' with 'only' if you hadn't clearified. actually she does when she runs away from the unversed and hides behind aqua she touches her keyblade and they performed an accidental keyblade inheritance ceremony Wow Mr. Sherlock Homes, I didn't realise it but think about it Kairi is more heart than Sora and he is able to wield a Keyblade without a rain dance or something.
