I like it. It's a neat way to connect with your friends through the game, and sometimes it's just fun to play with them. My friend and I always talk about how awesome it would be if we could adventure together in Skyrim. (First vote, baby!)

Multiplayer = replayability. There are many FANTASTIC games out there that don't have multiplayer that I've only visited again once or twice after I've beaten them the first time (Open world games being the exception). After a while dealing with the same old scripted patterns over and over again gets old. I understand this is how gaming used to be like, but there are so many other options that the little time I have to play games is invested in those that I can feel comfortable playing again and again, mostly due to the multiplayer

A good multiplayer will feel like a slightly different experience every time you play it. Not totally different that it doesn't even feel like the same game from one round to the next, but that every time you play, some unique things happen.

I preffer to play alone for the most part, Call of Duty being the exception. So I usually don't played multiplayer. I do, however, really enjoy playing the multiplayer on Mass Effect 3. I think they did a really great job with it, and I love that they're supporting it often with free add-ons. I try not to listen to the "It's tacked on" haters.

Although I like to play alone, There are a few games I like w/ Mutliplayer in them. As long as playing online w/ other people doesnt ruin my gaming experience, I'm alright w/ mutilplayer

A game meant to play alone doesn't need a multiplayer feature, but there's no need to complaint if something small is added. Of course, the more things you add to a multyplayer game the better.

I usually don't bother with it, but I DO wish they had an online multiplayer for KH games! I would love to play against/with some of my friends. :( Especially since most people near me don't play the same games, so I can't even play Days or BBS with anyone.

(Also a shame KH3D doesn't have a multiplayer battle thing, except for Flick Rush.)

'It's okay, as long as it doesn't harm the single-player experience.'

Any bonus like multiplayer is cool, so long as it doesn't mean there's less effort put into the story or single-player aspect.

I think a series that started out as a single player game shouldn't have multiplayer. All the work that could of been put into the story mode was instead put into a tacked on multiplayer mode.

Example: Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. It was an alright experience, but I wish they would of sticked solely single player.

I have no problem with multi-player. Why? You have something to do after you finish the game instead of starting over.

What is this social element you speak of? Do you mean like facebook, twitta, yutube, instergram, etc?
