ventus914 1 Posted October 4, 2012 DREAM DROP DISTANCE. I know this is a stupid question, but what does distance stand for in the title
Zola 3,038 Posted October 4, 2012 (edited) I think there was an interview where Nomura said it was referring to the distance between Sora and Riku, since they're in similar, but separate dreams of the sleeping worlds. mikethegamer 53 Posted October 4, 2012 (edited) The Distance between Sora and Riku and the Distance between DDD and KH3...which is about 5 years. EDIT: Hurrah! 100th post. I love celebrating my pointless achievements. Edited October 4, 2012 by mikethegamer
Gambler'sApprentice 131 Posted October 5, 2012 The distance one falls in one's dreams. Especially for Sora, who fell so far into the darkness of sleep he nearly became a vessel for Xehanort.
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted October 6, 2012 The distance one falls in one's dreams. Especially for Sora, who fell so far into the darkness of sleep he nearly became a vessel for Xehanort. That makes sense. I've also heard, "the distance of dream drops," used in reference to Dream Drop Distance, though I cannot recall where this was... Either way, I think Gambler's Apprentice's explanation fits the definition of Dream Drop Distance perfectly.
