Firaga 5,947 Posted October 3, 2012 (edited) Oh, boy....have I got a date circled on my calendar....well, not really, but I do know that in the next couple of weeks, Homecoming's comin' up. And for the parade, the Anime Club, which I am a part of, has been given permission in be a part of it. We don't have a float sadly...but we stil get to walk....which will be fun. http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png But anyways, as part of getting some Anime Club hype-oh shit, my "U" key fell off! D: Gimme a second.....okay, it's back on.......anyways, to hype up Anime Club, we're all gonna be cosplaying and doing the Gangham dance and fightin' each other and messin' around....it's gonna fun. HOWEVER.....if the title gave didn't give it away already, this is the first time I'm actually cosplaying for realzies....so..... HELP A DESPERATE FOOL, WILL YA?! D: Seriously, I have never bought a costume or even made one...I have two weeks...and I'm poor as f**k....so....level with me here... I have some ideas on who I'm cosplaying as: first is Minato Namikaze...then Mirai Trunks.....then Great Saiyaman....and if all else fails, I'll take the lazy way out, find a green collared shirt with some matching green pants, make a gun with my hand and say I'm Yusuke Uremeshi.....but I don't want to go that route, really.....logically, the Trunks outfit is the best way to go for me, cuz I already know what I need: a blue leather jacket, a black wife-beater, a pair of gray cargo pants, and yellow boots and MAYBE a sword....just maybe. But anyways, if there's any expericienced cosplayers out there with some tips for a n00bie....I'd appreciate it. AND, except for Mirai Trunks, obviously, I have no FRICKIN idea how I would scrounge up the clothing needed for the other characters I mentioned, and I still want them to have a chance.....especially Minato.....cuz my friend Will is going as Gaara....so if I pull it off...heh-heh....KAGE VS KAGE!!! Much help would be needed. Remember, I'm a desperate fool here......desperate...... Edited October 4, 2012 by Firaga96

XIIISwords 1,059 Posted October 4, 2012 -oh shit, my "U" key fell off! Ha, then how did you type, "U?" I don't have prior cosplay experience, but I think that full-body suits seem easy. Just look at ebay and Japanese shops in the area. Worst come to worst, be a Mudkip.

Stardustblade358 806 Posted October 4, 2012 Well,I did found you a "How to make a Sword out of Cardboard" tutorial. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yE7Gl_F1AEk Like Koko said, you can look up around E-bay. You can put up the cosplay together by finding different clothing articles and fixing them up to your needs and to make them look similar to the character. If you find pants that are a bit to long cut them up or so and etc. 1 Firaga reacted to this

Firaga 5,947 Posted October 19, 2012 So....no Anime Club in the parade, apparentley... Yeah, we got shived. I don't know what went down, really....all I know is that we can't be in. So now, we're gonna stand by a Stop sign and advertise our club from there....whether were in costume or not... Still haven't started with mine, anyway....(God damn you laziness) .... at least I know that we'll still be able to do something for Halloween coming up. I think we might even crash a Denny's and have some food while in costume. Can you imagine that? Bunch of anime characters at a Denny's? HA! It's gonna be hilarious... Firaga 5,947 Posted October 19, 2012 I felt kinda emo today....considering I had to sit through the parade and not be in it with the club.... Fear not! Halloween is still upon us! And I am still aiming to make a Trunks outfit. I'm already going through the motions of getting the right sword.... And, uh, just so you know: real steel, baby. That's right, no wood or plastic here....see, my mom actually collects real weapons like knives and swords...so this paticular prop has sparked her interest....I already have the option of seeing into such a prop that, according to my mom, looks like the one I showed her....whether or not it really is, by my standards, will be decided later....
