Should the euthanasia of random threads be legal?

Recommended Posts

It pities me to see so many poor random threads be completely killed before their prime, yet put on life support stopping from the deaths they deserve. The threads suffer, no matter what we try to ease the threads pain it never goes away. The only way to finally let these destitute threads be at peace is to pull the plug. However, is this a legal practice?

If a random thread hits page four or five within the first few hours or even day it's been up, they have clearly been prematurely killed off by the irrelevant posts, side conversations, and people just not getting the jokes. Sadly, people still post prolonging the agony and suffering. Should we terminate such threads using a lock or even delete method and end their suffering?

Discuss.

The dying of topics is almost beginning to define the random forum. You may as well delete the forum as a whole if you want to do that.
