Gambler'sApprentice 131 Posted October 5, 2012 Regarding not commenting in-quote, sure. Luxord used diversionary tactics in battle such as using his cards to shield himself, turning Sora into a dice, and forcing him to play his little games. All of this was done to avoid direct head to head combat, in my book that is a defensive fighting style. Once Sora stripped Luxord of his tricks he didn't stand a chance. Not to mention Sora was only gained strength from the beginning of the game up until that point (with the exception of the drive forms which weren't necessarily) because at the beginning of the game he was reset to level. Also once again your contradicting yourself you by your own words are helping my point. Name one example of a nobody who was an evil person and then acted like a nice person once he became a nobody. Also many of the organization members retained their personalities when they became nobodies in fact with the exception of Isa( a confirmed sucessful vessel) all of them were similar or identical to how they were portrayed as somebodies. The nobodies kept their memories and were able to portray the personalities and reactions they would have as nobodies. So needless to say, there is a lot of base in saying Luxord was a relatively good guy as a somebody based on his personality in days and KH2 Um... using your weapon for both offense and defense is the norm. And I don't know if transforming your opponent can really be qualified as defensive, Particularly in a situation where that is literally the only way to disarm your opponent. Luxord made Sora play his games because Luxord likes games. Also Sora didn't strip Luxord of his bag of tricks, he just beat Luxord. KHII Sora is stronger than CoM Sora, unless you believe Marluxia is as powerful as Xemnas, and that Sora having Roxas and Xion's hearts, which gives him his dual-wielding abilities doesn't make him more capable. First, we don't know much about the Somebodies, we can only guess based on the little time we had with them, it's a bit early to say they were the same. Xaldin become a ragey monster on the subject of love, while Dilan seemed at least to be a decent person. So either we have Dilan hated love, and didn't show it, or Xaldin is a fundamentally different person from Dilan. And Larxene acts like a Nobody would be expected to, which means her Somebody is unlikely to act the sane way. By your own words you have acknowleged that too much of anything whether it be light or darkness can be corrupted and therefore is evil. Consider the amount of darkness it takes to produce a boss level heartless you have to be pretty evil to make one. Eraqus allowed himself to be corrupted by light in the same token and Riku regardless of how he uses it now allowed darkness to corrupt him. To clarify my point darkness may not be necessarily used only for evil, but having too much of it is evil (don't believe me look at Xehanort). WIth that being said you have no basis to say that It's imbalance more than excess that is dangerous, if you have strong darkness, but also strong light, then you are still healthy. And even if you are mostly dark, this doesn't mean you are an evil person. You simply are more concerned with power and control. Xehanort has let himself become overwhelmed by darkness, combined with Eraqus' devotion to light, it led to an imbalance that he went too far balancing. Also could you please put your statements after the quote tags, it's hard to respond to your points if you do in my quote box. 1 PillowHead reacted to this
Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted October 5, 2012 Even though they're probably normal, everyday run-of-the-mill heartless (mostly Shadows, maybe some Darkballs, Invisibles and Neo Shadows) I always thought that it would be cool if the Org's. Heartless where in fact the boss Heartless of KH1. (I can totally imagine Trickmaster being Lea's Heartless) That way it's kind of like we've been fighting the Org the whole time and didn't even know it, even though that's probably not the case. For some reason the thought of Trickster being Axel's heartless is utterly terrifying. And that's kinda how I feel about it as well, Org XIII....Org XIII everywhere.
