The setting is in a small town in Iwoa. It is night time, a teenage girl was walking down a sidewalk. She saw the local towns people walking home, but she kept her distance from them because she was very shy and not the one to be very social.

Nearby, a street magician was performing a few tricks to a gathered crowed, a sign near him said "The Mysterious Max". Max was doing levitation, fire control, the usual magician stuff, to impress the crowed.

The girl saw a man putting on an act, "Magic is pointless" she said but she went over to "The Mysterious Max" and started to watch his act.

Red saw the new girl and wanted to meet her and also watch the magician. " Hi, I'm Red. Yours? " Red is short for red riding hood

(Again, don't use Red Riding Hood's name in the present. You can use Red, but don't say it is short for her real name. No one knows who they really are is the point.)

 

"I'm Jo Taylor. I've lived here for a while, but I mainly stay inside because I am too shy." Jo said.

Max was continuing his show, when he saw his true job out of the corner of his eye. "You sir, come on over." said Max, gesturing to the guy, his true objective. "Now, before i perform this trick, i must ask, how many of you have heard of the old hit and run?" asked Max. Most of the crowed nodded. Max's facial expression then turned from cheerful to serious. "Well, here's the run." said Max as a puff of smoke appeared, showing up in an ally across the road. "And here's the hit." whispered Max as he threw a dagger into the guys heart, killing the guy. There was a small ribbon on the dagger that read "I'll always be your worst nightmare". Max remained in the ally until the commotion decided to die down as the crowed was panicking.

Oh ok. " Oh, sorry. The shows great isn't it? "

"Red, we have to go now. That magician's a mad man." Jo said pulling Red's arm and trying to save them both from the hit and run craziness.

 

 

(Past world)

 

 

Princess Aurora was still in a very deep sleep. She couldn't wake up because of the curse that was acted upon her.

" Um, ok? " Red came with Jo

"Heh, another job done." said Max. Max then heard gunshots. "Now....exit, stage left." said Max as he started running. After a few minutes, Max tripped over a few garbage cans, landing in front of Jo and Red from the ally a few feet in front of them. "Oh, come on, who leaves garbage cans tipped over in an ally?" Max asked himself as he got up.

"You're the mad man, please don't hurt us." Jo said seeing Max in front of them.

"Hey, i'm no madman, and i'm not gonna hurt ya, i'm a lone assassin, i only kill the corrupted, like that bozo earlier, i've been hunting that guy for three months, i tracked him to this town a couple days ago, finally got him today, i'd never hurt this innocent." said Max. "My name is Max, master magician and assassin." said Max.

"As long as this is your job, you have the whole crowd scared. I'm Jo, Jo Taylor." Jo said.

" I'm Red. " Red wasn't sure if she should trust the guy. She looked at Jo and back at Max.

"Well then, now that introductions are made." said Max as he looked to the corner and saw the guys shooting at him coming around it. "How are you two at running.....cause ya better start now." said Max as he started running as bullets started flying.

Jo started to run beside Max, "Is it usually like this?" Jo asked running.

 

 

(Past world)

 

Princess Aurora was wearing a brown coat that hid her identity. She was walking in the forest.

Red was running with them. She looks behind them, and sees gunshots.

Jo started to run beside Max, "Is it usually like this?" Jo asked running.

 

"Yup, but count yourself lucky, on my last job, the result was the entire british military after me, it took me a year to have them stop their search, i was 16 then." said Max.

"Well, why are we running for?" Jo asked while she kept running.

 

"Something doesn't seem quite right, where are all the animals at?" Princess Aurora asked herself noticing not a single animal in the forest. She then gasped as she came across five people dead on the ground covered in blood. "What, what happened, what happened here?" She was too shocked.

"You wanna be staring down the business end of a rifle?" asked Max. Max then came up to an abandoned building. "Come on, in here." said Max as he ran in.

 

(Fairytale world)

 

Draco came out from behind a tree. "I can tell you what happened, young one, but you won't like what you hear." said Draco.

"Okay" Jo said as she went inside where Max said to.

 

"Who are you? And what do you mean, what happened here?" Princess Aurora said still hiding her face in her coat's hood so she wouldn't be found out about who she really was.

"Well, i guess we'll be hiding out here until this runs dry, anyway, ya might wanna get used to the run and hide routine, odds are, they'll be after you as well now." said Max.

 

(Fairytale world)

 

"My name is Draco, i'm a warrior sky mystic, you've probably heard of us sky mystics, and what happened here, was a merciless murder, ten beasts killed these people, i hunted the beasts down, killed them and burned the bodies, may the other sky mystics show mercy to them." said Draco.

"Why? We aren't even part of this!" Jo exclaimed.

 

 

"Thats terrible. So why are you still here?" Princess Aurora asked.

"Well, they saw ya talking to me, so, being trigger happy soldiers, they'll shoot ya before you tell them your side of the story." said Max.

 

"I've been given a mission by the other sky mystics, i'm to stay on the surface for now and figure out who's responsible for this, and i plan on doing that." said Draco.

"And how do you plan to do so? This is a dangerous forest." Aurora said.

 

"But I didn't ask for this, I don't want to be running for the rest of my life, I have a history test tomorrow and I never miss a day of school." Jo said.

"Well, here's the plan, you go on with your normal life, i'll keep an eye on ya, if there's any trouble, i'll deal with it." said Max.

 

"Trust me, i can handle myself, though you look like you could use a bodyguard, you never know what you could run into here." said Draco.
