A club for Spyro as he was known before Skylanders (>_<). Spyro: Year of the Dragon was actually the first game I ever played and defeated. I am deliberately discluding Skylanders as Spyro is NOT the main character. For those who remember Spyro in the good old days!

Xoncron, since you are my best friend, I will refrain from going nuts. It is my....highest opinion that Skylanders killed the Spyro series. I am a hardcore Spyro fan and at the core of my gaming heart, right next to Kingdom Hearts II, there's a case holding all the Spyro games before Skylanders.

I liked this series, Spyro the Dragon was actually my first video game, I remember that I couldnt beat the first one but then I got the other ones and beat them no problem lol and I remember with Spyro Year of the Dragon we didn't have a PS1 memory card yet so I remember that me and my sister would stay up late trying to finish the game in one go.  We go to the third boss but couldn't beat him.  I have all of the games except for Shadow Legacy and the one with Crash in is but I don't really count that one lol and I have beaten all of them except for the GB ones idk they where just harder back then, if I could play them now they probably wouldn't be so bad lol.  and I remember hearing some time ago that they were gonna make a new Spyro game in 2013 but I think that was just a rumor and nothing as really happend about that yet but anyway.  I liked the Legand of Spyro series as well Eligha Wood was a great voice for Spyro in that series, I am sad that they didn't realease the Legand of Spyro movie and that instead turned into Skylands but oh well -__-

Yea, I remember the ending of the first Nasty Norc, he was tricky. I would play the whole series with my grandma, and shed ask me for help on some things, and the ending was one of them and we tried tons of times until I finally got it and A Spyro Movie would of been awesome but Skylanders was a huge disappointment.

Spyro Year of the Dragon is one of my favorite games, as well as one of the first games I've played. Loved it! I really should try and actually beat it one day.

I honestly have defeated all of the Spyro games for the PS1/PS2 series seveal times, minus Enter the Dragonfly and that's impossible, Night of the Eternal Darkness for Gameboy, and Shadow Legacy, quite recently actually.
