KingdomHearts123456 32 Posted September 22, 2012 When you think about it japan and usa carry the majority of the sales and not only is the remix for fans of the series but gets new players into the game and will help new players to get into the story that will help with sales for kingdom hearts 3 it would be dumb for square enix not to do this. kingdomlanelover 494 Posted September 22, 2012 If you ask me, Japan will get the remix before E3 2013. That way they can show a trailer for it here at E3, then maybe we will have to wait until after Gamescom but hopefully not.
Weiss 8,279 Posted September 22, 2012 It will mostly likely come out in Japan around E3 an then in America a few months later.
mikethegamer 53 Posted September 22, 2012 Don't forget that the HD Remix was hinted at in the American version of DDD's Secret Message http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/sleep.png So yes it would be dumb to not release it after that. 1 KingdomHearts123456 reacted to this
J. Severe 1,137 Posted September 22, 2012 I don't know why anyone would think this won't be localized. It was hinted at in KH3D's secret message, and NA needs dem yearly KH releases too. I'm sure it'll be over here a few months after its Japanese release, maybe fall 2013.
KingdomHearts123456 32 Posted September 22, 2012 Japan and North America* I don't really think a thread was necessary for this... I think it is necessary because people keep asking nomura has stated that he wants noobies to get into the series why wouldnt he release the remix in north america not only for people to get into the story but to prepare for kingdom hearts 3 im sorry if it wasnt necessary but I can do what I want I don't know why anyone would think this won't be localized. It was hinted at in KH3D's secret message, and NA needs dem yearly KH releases too. I'm sure it'll be over here a few months after its Japanese release, maybe fall 2013. I really dont think these take that long to do and remember nomura said he has a secret team working on a game Im sure that square didnt produce this they were more of a supervisor for this project I actually expect this game to come out this march right at the end of the 10th anniversary. If you ask me, Japan will get the remix before E3 2013. That way they can show a trailer for it here at E3, then maybe we will have to wait until after Gamescom but hopefully not. Im thinking this has been in development for atleast 6 months I wouldnt be surprised if this came out in march by the end of the 10th anniversary in japan and the summer for us remember nomura said he had a secret team working on a secret title its obviously the 1.5 remix. TheKeybladeMaster23 2 Posted September 25, 2012 why wouldnt he release the remix in north america not only for people to get into the story but to prepare for kingdom hearts 3 Nomura doesn't control where it gets released. He controls the story and the concept art.
Caity 3,946 Posted September 25, 2012 It's really annoying me people complaining about it maybe not coming to the US, when people in PAL regions were screwed over a lot more (No MOM, no RE:COM, No AR cards at first, no decent merchandise) and yet people are acting like it's the worse a KH fan would have to bear if it was Japan exclusive. I haven't even been able to play COM cause GBA is practically extinct and I can't find Swap Magic anywhere. KH 1.5 Should be released in ALL regions, primarily they should actually prove they give a damn about their PAL consumers and not leave them out again. KingdomHearts123456 32 Posted September 25, 2012 Nomura doesn't control where it gets released. He controls the story and the concept art. He doesnt but at the same time hes writting the story and making the concept art if he wrote the story for kingdom hearts 3 and 6 million people total purchase the game and 5 million of those people dont understand the story it would be a waste of time and im pretty sure there was interview with him on e3 2011 and he talked about how he met with a disney executive talking about what they should do for the 10th anniversary nomura has alot more control of the series than you think
Xail 113 Posted September 25, 2012 they'll probably bring it to the other countries but no final mix.

I think you misunderstood my statement. Square Enix is the main publisher of the series, correct? They decide WHERE it is published or possibly a bigger representative of SE. Nomura is definitely a big representative, but trust me, if he controlled the regional releases, North America probably would have gotten the Final Mixes. After all, I don't believe Nomura is biased about who should get it. It's obvious he has a lot of control over the series, because he's the one that generally creates most of the story...Disney hands the rights for their characters to use for KH, and the stories for the different worlds are created. I don't know why you're saying I don't think Nomura has a lot of control over the series. 1 KingdomHearts123456 reacted to this

Zenithia 305 Posted September 26, 2012 tutti frutti. I think it would be crazy for Square not to sell it outside of Japan. By reaching out to a majority of the regions, if not all of them, would definitely allow more people to be able to get into the series and find out the events that took place on the PS2.
