KHBbS Help, please. (Disneytown and another question)

I need some help. I'm still playing as Terra because I'm trying to get all of the treasure chests. My problem is that there's the giant thing...like...it looks like a pressure gauge and you lock-on when you get close enough. But there's no way to get it open or anything and in the same room there's a ledge just out of my reach that has treasure chests and something else, but I can't quite tell what it is.

 

Also, just out of curiosity, how the heck do you beat Vanitus with Aqua? I was bored and decided to give her a try without saving or anything and he kills me in 2 hits. O_O Every single time and you go against him pretty early in the game from what I remember. (I played her when I first got the game about a week after it was released when I was first stuck with Terra, then I went back to Terra and have continued with him.)

 

Any help in this would be love.

 

EDIT: And what's the deal with Mirage Arena? Anyone else having trouble getting to do anything in there? I've tried getting into it going solo, seeing as no one else I know nearby has the game, and I can't enter any of the events. X_X

well in marage arena theres a thing next to the moogle.use the machine and there are the events pic arena mode.then when your done go to the middle of the room press O(circle) and then press start

 

and with aqua did you equip the last keyblade you got(the silver one)?

Yeah. He kills me in 2 blows and that's the only world I can get to. It automatically takes me there. O_O I got my game straight from Japan, so I dunno why it glitched that badly. O_O I'll try it again in a little bit and see if it'll take me to Vanitus again, cause that's just...wrong.

For Terra, the power gauge thing you have to charge up using thunder type attacks. I recommend using Thunder type Blade attacks since Thunder magic does little against the thing.

 

Are you in Radiant Garden for the VS Vanitas fight? Then I suggest you try to level up and/or use the command charge to make yourself some abilities like Defender or HP Up. It helped me a lot when I was trying to beat the bastard on Hard Mode.

It's not possible for Aqua to go up against Vanitas any earlier than that. The only other times you fight him is in Neverland and at the Keyblade Graveyard. There weren't any glitches (except one) when I played through so that sort of thing shouldn't be happening.....

Does Terra fight Captain Hook? I know he fights Braig again. That's another thing I'm stuck at. In Neverland, I have 3 treasure chests left to get to, but I can't get up onto the cliff. It's just out of my reach. And I keep talking to Peter Pan, but nothing's happening and Captain Hook's ship keeps firing at the island, no matter where I go, but I can't get to the ship. X_X

Are you talking about the cliff in the Mermaid's Cove? If so, then there is a platform in the next area that you can jump from onto a palm tree. Next to said palm tree, there is a hole you go through and that's the cliff. There's only one chest there though.

Or are you referring to the area in Skull Cavern?? then go outside to the right and hug the wall/rocks. Then high jump. There are ledges that you can climb that take you up. Once up, go in, get one chest, then use highjump+airslide to get to the other side of the cavern. Simple.

 

BTW, Terra doesn't fight Hook at all. There is no boss battle at Neverland for him. And he only fights Braig once in Radiant Garden. Aqua fights Braig at the Keyblade Graveyard.

Alright, I got confused and thought for some weird reason that he fought Hook. X_X

I think it was when I did the Data Install, cause my game glitched all to hell when I did that on any of the Data Installs that I did. It wouldn't let me save and I didn't get any damage when I was hit, yet I was able to defeat the unverse and all. o_O; And yeah, it bypassed all of them. It went from the opening cut scene right to the Keyblade Graveyard. o_O; I'll try again without the Data Install as soon as I try to reach that area in Skull Cavern. ^_^

Also, do you know which command gets me the Thunder attacks? I managed to get it once, but I don't remember how I did it. ^^;

Or use one thunder attack, fill the command gauge, get Thundershock thingy, combo.

So if I have the command gauge filled and do a thunder spell, it'll kick it up into a thunder attack/thunder blitz?

I'm still trying to figure out how this works. ^^;

Not ThunderBlitz but the thing where your character is enveloped in a weird-ish light (in this case yellow) and they start combo-ing lighting attacks.

Either ways, it's pretty effective.
