I don't understand. What's so bad about it being in more consoles? That way the games would be available for the people that don't want a PS3. ...because I know just one series just isn't enough to keep a system....believe me. =_= *stares at the 360*

 

 

I remember in some recent interview Nomura said he wanted to do something about the series being spread out on all these different consoles, if he's done anything yet has yet to be determined. I'm just saying if we're going to do a petition for the Wii U we might as well do it for other consoles too, so just make it a multiplatform petition

Sell the Xbox and buy a PS3. Problem solved. Unless you are a massive Halo fan... in that case, buy Halo 4, play it non-stop until a few months before KH HD comes out, sell it and all your games, buy a PS3 (and Infamous, Uncharted, FF Versus, God of War, countless other brilliant games) then KH HD. Problem solved. You get your Halo fix for half a year and you can buy a proper console Then, when the next Zelda game is released (realistically won't be until 2014, since it hasn't been announced), you can buy a Wii U (and your precious Mario).

 

btw I'm not a massive fanboy... I don't even have a ps3

Everyone is complaining about this. Me, personnally, I am just going to buy a damn PS3. I gave been saving up since I have a job. I won't buy console unless it has a KH game on it. I have a DSi, Ps2, psp, and 3DS just for KH. My brothers both have a xbox 360 to themselves but one doesn't use his. I simply want to play it on PS3.

Tbh, it will be on PS3 because of Japan. people don't realize that 360 is more of a Western console. If they did release it on the 360 they would probably loose money. Square can't cater to everyone at the end of the day.

im sorry but the whole argument that it wont or shouldnt happen on xbox because it dosent sell well in japan is bull @#$%. both sega and capcom release their games on PS3 AND Xbox. square has no reason not to

I doubt Kingdom Hearts will ever come to the PC. Why would you want it to anyways? I doubt the game would play well due to the mouse and keyboard. Sure there's a controller you can buy for the PC, but then that just defeats the purpose of having KH on the PC. If you're going to use a controller anyways, why not play the game on an actual gaming console?

because i dont want to waste money on a PS3 that i would only buy for one game when i already have a PC and xbox, and its far more likely to get put on PC. i want it on PC so i can play it, i dont buy games on PC so i can play with a keyboard.

They still will loose more money if they do that. Unless you want to pay double the price. Not as many people want it on the Xbox 360 and Wii U as you think.

Quit complaining because life isn't fair. I am not trying to be mean. Square Enix is a business, and business is business. They will shit on you when it comes to money and profit.

tutti frutti. I actually think that KH1.5 should be multiplatform. This would allow more people to be able to get their hands on the game, and be introduced to the series if they haven't played it, and not worry about having to get another console/handheld to play the games if they don't have it. Plus Disney and Square would have the opportunity to make some more money instead of just having them as exlusives on just Sony consoles/handheld and Nintendo handhelds. There have already been a handful of KH games on Nintendo's handhelds, so I don't really see why there can't be at least a couple games on their consoles.

Yeah but as I've pointed out before you have this thing against the ps3 so I am not even going to start a pointless argument.

Any Nintendo console is worth getting for the exclusives alone that is true but I believe that Kingdom Hearts shouldn't touch the Wii U and that isn't because I don't want one spend money on a Wii U (believe me I'll be getting one). I just like my ps3 that is all.

I said I wasn't going start a pointless argument. The points I am seeing on here is that the HD game should be multi-platform just because of fans that have played previous titles on the Nintendo systems. Kingdom Hearts has a tendency to be released on one system at initial launch I see this KH game as no different.

I understand that people want to see a Wii U (or to a lesser extent the 360) version but that doesn't mean it'll happen. It has only been announced for the ps3. Don't have one? Too bad.

If it were to go multi-platform SE would have said so like they did with FFX.

Yes but there are plenty of people on here who buy a system just for one game so maybe they will get one.

It would be convenient for it to be on multiple consoles so more people could play it, fair point. However, convenience isn't everything. 8million+ people own a ps3 in Japan at the end of the day so...

Please remove the "thus saving money", it makes it look so bad. It should be implied with the two consoles thing.

 

It's not like they're gonna care about it anyway, Kingdom Hearts seems to be a Sony systems/Nintendo handhelds thing and Square isn't that much of a flexible company.

 

 

I also think Kingdom Hearts shouldn't go multiplatform, it just wouldn't feel right. And I say it hating that I don't have a PSP to play BbS and that I'll have to buy a PS3 for Kingdom Hearts III.

Concerning the xbox, anyone who hoped to play a future KH game on a home console who still choose the Xbox over a PS3 with a misplaced hope it'd be multi-platform was just foolish. The history of the games obviously shows a dedication to Sony.

Also, PS3's are relatively cheap now. Especially in comparison to the Wii U. I got mine earlier this year for £200 and saw ones in town last month for £100 (bout 160 dollars) and that was for brand new PS3s. There's also the option of getting it used, an older (cheaper) model or renting the system from a store.

As people have said, KH shouldn't be multi-platform, it wouldn't feel right. The only time the same game has been spread across different consoles is when they've remastered it.

 

 

Would you honestly rather SE spent it's time re-calibrating the games to fit each consoles unique controls instead of getting stuck into KH3?

I actually agree with this. I doubt it'd happen for xbox due to it's Japan status but for Wii u it would have work. I admit it probably wouldn't sell as well as the PS3 version but they wouldn't lose anything by doing this, more so they would gain from it.
