KH2 Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix English Patch Subtitles

Recommended Posts

Well while playing this game with the English patch and i saw on some youtube videos the English patches they had were clean and looked perfect. So i downloaded the patcher and put it on my game. When i loaded it up with pcsx2 It was working but there's some real annoying things in the sub titles and i want to know if anyone uses pscx2 and played this game with a perfect English patch. I will upload a picture of what annoys me so you know what I'm talking about. If anyone knows how to fix this maybe by configuring the pscx2 settings its a small thing but it really bugs me. Thanks again. And if you dont know how to fix this and you used an English patch before mind sending me a link where to download? That would be awesome. This is the one I'm using right now. http://xeeynamo.blog...-final-mix.htmlPosted Image

Meh..

I've played KH II FM on PCSX2 (with the same patch) too and my subs look the same.

It's not much of a problem for me, though. I'm pretty used to it.

My best guess for why it's doing that is that those are artifacts from recoding the Japanese script to english characters. The Japanese font is a bit taller and "Stacks" (two lines on screen at once) more often than the English one, either that or it's a graphics glitch on your emulator.

This is what it's like for me and some LP's I've seen of it. Don't think there's a fix for it, but I choose to just enjoy one of the best KH titles in English :)

Don't try to fix it, it's that way. My computer is from 2004, so, It doesn't support Pcsx2, so, I patched an ISO, burned it and I play it on my PS2. It's that way. If you pay attention, ven some item descriptions have things like that.

I think it happens exactly as the people explained, because of the difference between the size of Japanese and English subtitles. It will always be that way. So, don't worry, your emulator is fine.
