    • Nah... I don't think it's better, they're both awesome games. KH3D is just as good as Birth by Sleep.

For me DDD was better...

BBS is way better imo. It actually introduced new plot elements, had better music, and made me feel accomplished when I beat it.

I don't really like DDD, simply because of the fact that it solves little to nothing. Master Xehanort is back, whoopdie firetrucking do, like I didn't know that was going to happen? If BBS could complete the Mark of Mastery exam in one cutscene, Square didn't need to make an entire game for it. Just my two cents.

Terra and Aqua have been training their whole lives for that one cutscene(mark of mastery).Sora and Riku never had someone to train them, they were self taught keyblade weilders....That's why they had to make entire game for it. Edited by Epic KH Fan_13

My favorite game is KH3D, but that's because it has The World Ends With You characters in it. My favorite game in the series is almost soley based on bias. But, I do know that BBS is a better game because of the story and other things.

I like them both but I can't really compare but I think BBS was better to me because we were waiting for it since the KH2 Secret Movie was revealed. I think it took us 5-6 year not sure If i counted right for BBS, while 2 years after the Coded Secret movie again not sure about the years. Anyway the point is that BBS was expected much more time than 3D and tht's why many believe that BBS is better is just an opinion :)

voted DDD is as good as BbS, but I think BbS is a bit better than DDD

DDD has an epic and interesting end, but only the end....

BbS is interesting through the whole story

BbS has some other good points like better commands and the possibility to create them by yourself

in DDD you find them in tresure chests or you get them from your Dream Eaters...not really hard to get

in DDD it's bad that you have to have specific DE's in your team for ability X or Y, but you have great helpers because they can save you from going k.o.

in BbS you learn abilities from fusing commands and you can keep them forever if command is maxed, but you are alone and no one can save you

and in boss battles you can use D-Link only once to heal if cure isn't available

each game has its good and bad points

I'd say no, though I love both games.

BBS though was completely different (least to me in the order of which I played) with the battle system and command melding, I had a lot of fun doing the same things and thought it was remarkable.

I would say 3D is on par, or slightly below. Personally I don't care for the 3D feature and felt the story was rushed near the end.

Each game has it's magic that no other could simple have and still be amazing with each new or even old things.the story can repeat but always in a diffirent yet special way with a new point of view. http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/happy.png I AM IN LOVE WITH KH<JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF IT

I've only been able to watch a playthrough of KH3D so I can't say for certain. In spite of this I think that I would still choose BBS.

Birth By Sleep was more self-contained. Because it was a prequel, it set out to tell a story that technically had already been "told", having been referenced or alluded to repeatedly in previous KH games. The end result is the dual satisfaction of experiencing an integral portion of the lore and having explanations to unanswered questions. "Blank Points", BBS's secret movie, also did an excellent job of setting the pieces for the grand finale in KHIII, showing us where all the players lie.

KH3D told a different story. Essentially the game stars Riku and follows his quest for redemption as he takes the Mark of Mastery Exam (Sora is there too, but is never as in control as Riku). KH3D has a challenge that BBS doesn't in that it seeks to advance the story rather than go backwards. It's more ambitious, but left me with more questions at the end than answers. I was able to follow BBS's plot easier than KH3D's, even with the three changing perspectives. The epilogue of the game felt less momentous than Blank Points and more like a series of normal cutscenes.

To an ardent fan, ranking the Kingdom Hearts games is an interesting process. Each of them are important, good, or bad for different reasons. However I do believe that BBS was the better game. BBS felt like an entire prequel, KH3D seems like KHIII's prologue.

I can't *fairly* judge, since I haven't played BbS.

From what I do know of BbS, though, I think I would probably like DDD more. In the few cut-scenes from BbS I have seen, the dialog felt awkward. Now, this may just be because the voice actors for Terra and Aqua are terrible (Sorry, but they are. Maybe I would think differently if I played through the entire game, but I haven't.), but I think it just didn't flow quite right. In addition, I really didn't like TAV, Eraqus, or Vanitas as characters very much. I don't really care for the Cinderalla, Sleeping Beauty, or Snow White movies (and thus worlds). The Unversed didn't look like very interesting "new" enemies (they just look like new heartless). Game-play wise, DDD had Dream Eaters and Flowmotion, which would inch it ahead from BbS.

Of course, that is just a list of things that I don't like, I am sure it is still a fantastic game. I hope that BbS FM will be included in an HD compilation, should one be made, so I can *hopefully* finally play it.

BBS for 2nd best KH game.

Both are fine. Since they made kh3d, the new ability: free flow motion, is awsome. Since they created that, it helps in fanction stories and stuff. And since they made kh bbs, they showed Sora and Riku as children, and help by, adding more story into it. So basically, both are good.

quoted because this is funny.
