"The Ones Who Must Be Saved" Plan

Anyone who guesses what awesome movie I just referenced gets an instant cookie and a hug. (Don't worry, MEN....we'll bro-hug.)

 

ANYWHO.....tonight, I bring to you a query....

 

We know that in KH3, one of the main plot points is going to be Sora "reconnecting", as it's called, with characters whose "hearts are still in pain", namely Roxas, Sora's Nobody....Namine, Kairi's Nobody.....Xion, Sora's Replica....Ventus, a Keyblader of old who had his heart taken by MX....Aqua, A Keyblade Master who found herself lost in the Realm Of Darkness....and Terra, a Keyblader who lost his heart and body to MX....all of these people are connected by the boy named Sora...."the Key that connects everything".

 

Did I just give you chills, there? I bet I did....

 

So, let's discuss: How is this "saving process" gonna work? Who's on first? Who's on second? Who's getting shived and never coming back? (JK....I wouldn't want any one of these guys/gals to get shived....especially my boy, Roxas. )

 

I personally have no convaluted idea of this process cuz I can't think about it right now....but, I'll probably come up with a plan later...

I'll assume Aqua will be saved first. Considering, she was in the secret ending for DDD. The Light within the Darkness or something like that. Not to mention, when exactly will Ventus be saved? Most likely Aqua will tell Sora and company because do you REALLY exxpect Sora or Riku to up and say, "Hey wanna go look for some secret rooms WAY back there at Castle Oblivion?" Doubtful. Xion, Roxas and Namine are kind of unknown in terms of how and wheen they will be saved though. IF they are, however, but most likely they will. In conclusion,

Alright, alright, alright.....I think I got it.

 

First, they'd save Roxas and Namine (obvious choices) since Sora ACTUALLY knows who they are....except sorta for Namine's part....Idk, uh, maybe they'll find a way to unlock Sora's (and Donald's and Goofy's) memories from COM? (After all, they're still there....just floating around, waiting to be back in the memory banks. lol)

 

Next comes Xion. Riku's, Roxas, and Namine's memories would of her would be restored....and Sora would....uh....let's say his pals give him the play-by-play on what happened in Days and leave it at that. Touching Sora and Xion dialouge, blah blah blah....and then EVERYONE can be on the same page.

 

Then, we get to the harder ones: The BBS trio. SInce Mickey's tight with Aqua and already knows where she is, they'll probably be a quick sequence in the ROD and then BAM! Blue Hair's back. Master Aqua, of course, will lead the gang to Castle Oblivion, where they'll get Ventus back. As for Terra....well, considering that even after DDD, MX still has Terra's body and heart....a simple can of whoop-ass and a Keyblade to MX's nutsack oughta solve that problem. lol.

No way. They'll get Aqua first and then maybe Ventus. Since Nomura likes to leave all the mind-firetrucks for the last few scenes, I doubt Xion and Roxas will be free sooner than Aqua and Ven.

Also, since Terra is still possessed by Xehanort, he'll be the last to be freed ( if he lives!!!).

Looking at it simply we have 6 people to rescue. Here's what would have to be done to free them

Roxas- Free his heart from Sora's without taking Sora's memories like what happened in Days

Xion- Get somebody* to remember her, and free her heart from Sora's without taking Sora's memories like what happened in Days

Ventus- Have Aqua guide (presumably at least Riku) to the Chamber of Waking in CO so he can free him from sleep and allow his heart to rejoin his body

Aqua- Search the RoD until they can rescue her from Ansem the Wise at the Dark Margin

Terra- Rescue Aqua so they can find out Master Xehanort took over Terra, then force Master Xehanort to leave. This would probably require a fight in Terra's heart where his friends come and join him.

Namine- Assuming she has a heart, removing it from Kairi

 

*Namine might, which would make it all much easier, and it might make it possible to remove Roxas' and Xion's hearts without messing with Sora's memories.

 

So since they know exactly where Namine is they probably free her and they look for Aqua and she guides them through Castle Oblivion to rescue Ven. They free the hearts in Sora and Namine might have to make sure Sora's memories stay with him. They probably then have to defeat Xehanort before they can rescue Terra, possibly like changing Riku in KHII.

There shouldn't be a way to restore Sora's memories from CoM, Namine used Sora's memories but scrambled and altered them. Rather like taking all the pictures in a gallery, painting on the backs and putting them in a different order. He could learn about what happened in CoM, but I don't think he'd be able to regain them.

I just thought he'd be better off remembering the stuff that went down instead of being told by someone who actually remembered. It sets a different tone for Sora, doesn't it? Will he feel the way he felt back In COM if he's just TOLD about Namine? And what about Donald and Goofy?

 

That's just how I thought of it. I'm sure, regardless, it can work either way.

It might be better, but it would be really confusing having two contradictory lives, and Sora's brain has a hard enough keeping track of the one. But using Data-Sora as an example one can expect Sora to trust Namine with no reservations because she says they were friends. If Xehanort had been a bit more clever instead of his grand plan with Sora in 3Ds he could have just said he was a friend Sora had forgotten and Sora would have helped him cheerfully.

As for Donald and Goofy I take their absence in 3Ds as a sign I will never have to fight with them in my way again. Preferably I get to fight with 2 other keyblade wielders in my party.

Terra aside, I guess, Naminé will be the last one to come back. I'm sure it has to do with Kairi's training somehow and her powers as a PoH.

 

Aqua -> Ven ... Roxas(?) -> Xion (Axel and Roxas will talk a bit I guess and with the help of Sora and Riku remember her) -> Naminé -> Terra.

 

About Terra: It could be in the final fight (I hope not) or near the end of the game.

If Terra doesn't live, then I foresee Aqua finally crossing the Despair Event Horizon and trying to use the X-Blade/KH against the ROD as revenge for Darkness denying her a peaceful life with her friends.

The room will be unlocked but it turns out MX is following them trying to swoop in and there's any epic battle.

Sora stabs himself to release Vens heart, in the process releasing Roxas (and possibly Xion)

Fast forward a bit, another great battle to save Terra (or else they just find him in the keyblade graveyard given his heartless and nobody were destroyed his mind rests in his lingering will...)

OR: In the keyblade graveyard Ven and Aqua recognize the armor. It helps you while you fight for Terra's body

 

Terra's saved.

 

During sometime in this process, Namine will become her own self as well and marry Riku

During an epic final battle, Kingdom Hearts/Door to darkness will be opened, and a terrible being (recognized by Mickey and Riku) will be released. The next villain in newer games. We will see Riku and Mickeys side stories following KH3 which displays their first encounters with this being.

Maybe not MX himself, but I could see a boss of sorts in the room or just before they enter it. Being Kingdom hearts I couldn't see his rescue just going by smoothly without some sort of interference.
