xoblivionx13 1,133 Posted September 7, 2012 Sorry if this is misplaced but I wasn't sure where to put this so I figured start from the first game Is there a special memory or feeling you experience when playing through the series? A certain line, scene, character, music piece (heck even pictures) that makes you stop and think of when it all started? It can be anything or any game in the series that perhaps makes you smile or maybe makes you sad. Something that you will always remember. For example, I remember starting my love for KH on Christmas Eve of my sophomore year in high school. I was in my pjs, ready to open presents but became impatient waiting. So I went in my basement and looked around the shelves for a game to play on my PS2. I found KH2 tucked away and thought it looked somewhat interesting. Hours later my parents had to practically drag me away from the game I will always remember watching the opening scene, sitting on a pillow on the floor in my cold basement wondering what the heck was going on (I played KH2 first by accident). I always go back and play that game because it has a lot of meaning and memories to me...even the Dearly Beloved makes me smile Alright enough rambling from me. Share your memories! Zola 3,038 Posted September 7, 2012 When I played KH1 for the very first time at my friends house, her brother had me absolutely convinced that every little thing I did would change what ending I got, so I was upset when Riku kept beating me at stuff, and I thought Sora threw away the paopu fruit because I'd lost so many times, and I was convinced I was going to get the bad ending where you lose the game. Not funny then. Very funny now. Also, they had the brightness on their TV really low, so when the heartless were swarming on the beach, I was freaking out pretty bad and kept falling off the bridge and all sorts of really sad stuff like that. So the Destiny Islands always make me smile/cringe. Heheh.
VanitasisKirby 1,227 Posted September 7, 2012 Hmm, my favorite KH memory would be when I got my very first KH game. Then when I started crying at the end of Days... Finally, when Nomura introduced MeowWow/Jesty. My life was *almost* complete Because I couldn't decide.
xBerserkerSaix07x 125 Posted September 7, 2012 Meeting Ansem:Seeker of Darkness was one of my fav scenes in KH1.He just had this cool, dark demeanor about him that made u feel like the world was ending."This world has been connected.Tied...to the darkness.Soon to be completely eclipsed. One who knows nothing can understand nothing"Billy Zane played a bettr Ansem Imo.Then his near-ending convo with Sora stating"So you've come this far and STILL you understand NOTHING!" Obi-wan 411 Posted September 7, 2012 Where we see Ansem at the end when he summons his Guardian and does the whole Darkness and End of the World speech. I swore right then and there that he was a rapist who wanted to kidnap all of the little children. That was the first scene I ever saw with my friend and I still think of him that way. I just added that he's a bitch to beat in the first game because of the stupid camera on it. I beat the Heartless fight with Destiny Islands with the dark tv in a snap. Where I realized that she probably could of not only sent Terra back up on the Glider but herself as well. Didn't she realize there probably was someways to make them fast enough to get up or the fact she could of made hr own way? I swore that scene just kept messing with my brain. Oh I screamed when I saw the whole Terra and Xemnas connection that scared my mom. I love the two of them so much now it's not funny. The ending of Days with Riku vs Roxas. I shouted at the screen for Axel to get off his lazy ass and help Roxas before I saw Riku turn into Ansem with Guardian. Then I said, "Oh that jackass! Axel come on get your friend back and kick his ass for being such a lazy bastard before!" My friend was laughing so hard while I yelled at the tv screen on youtube. I hadn't beat the game yet and wanted to see it. 1 xoblivionx13 reacted to this
OkashiraKenrex 251 Posted September 7, 2012 I remeber when my older bro. and aunt(very young) got it as soon as it came out.And i always snuck in to watch cuz they didn't allow it and seeing the opening music and scene were sora reaches for riku and was like O.o wat is dis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!IS HE OKAY!!!!!!!And loving tarzan and mermaid and seeing them made me feel like i connected with them. And was touched with every scene/music and terrified when cerburus/1st darksider attached.cryed when kairi and sora was reunited and seperated.Angry at maleficant for tricking riku(laughed when defeted),and laughed when yuffie said "I,m not kairi,i'm the GREAT NINJA YUFFIE".Just the begining but not saying it all.And cryed when............Xion died!! :'(And remeber something sparked when sora made that silly face and said he will go with donald/gdaoofy for da 1st time and made that speech to ansem sod, loved da speech and da letter kairi sent but when played in kh da first along with da music.KH will alway be apart of me and it could be lost and i might one day not think about or at all but deep down i'll know it's truly not forggoten OK BYE
Gambler'sApprentice 131 Posted September 7, 2012 The scene that got me into Kingdom Hearts as a series was Deep Dive, I'd played through the games and formed a strong attachment to Oathkeeper. So when this scene shows up with a mysterious individual Dual-Wielding Oathkeeper & Oblivion (I've always had a massive weakness for dual-wielding) fighting these mysterious heartless-on-steroids without effort I knew I had to keep playing. Generally I'm pretty neutral on playing video games, I'll play them, but I don't get to passionate, because otherwise I can get obsessive, but I had to find out what was going on there and who this awesome character was. Robbie the Wise 5,050 Posted September 7, 2012 Three in particular always stand out in my mind, the first was riku's speech before leaving the islands, the second was the final boss of kh2, and the third Young Xehanort blasting Mickey across the room that never gets old lol. 1 xoblivionx13 reacted to this

Caity 3,946 Posted September 7, 2012 I played my first KH game on xmas day too (Was KH2 though, never heard of the series til I saw the commercials around November time) I remember sitting on the floor (chairs obviously won't help the experience) looking up at the tv playing my first RPG. The moments I loved in the game, would probably be seeing Kairi get her Keyblade (KH2) Being able to play as a female protagonist (Aqua) I enjoyed all the fights with Axel... So were the cutscenes before Sora battles Ansem SoD and afterward when the Door to Light blasts open. "All worlds begin in darkness, and all so end. The heart is no different. Darkness sprouts within it, grows, consumes it. Such is its nature. In the end, every heart returns to the darkness whence it came. You see, darkness is the heart's true essence!" "That's not true! The heart may be weak, and sometimes it may even give in. But I've learned that deep down there's a light that never goes out!" *cue Guardian* "Kingdom Hearts! Fill me...with the power of darkness..." "You're wrong! I know now without a doubt. Kingdom Hearts...is light!" 1 Sorual reacted to this

Flying Cattle 48 Posted September 23, 2012 I remember getting a PS2 with a copy of Kingdom Hearts on Christmas when I was little. I played it later that afternoon, and was instantly hooked. Everytime I hear "Simple and Clean," I think of the first time playing Kingdom Hearts and just sitting in my basement, playing it for hours. I also remember when the darkness devoured Destiny Island, and I thought, this is so cool! The battle with Riku is also ingrained in my memory. I lost so many times, I could quote the dialogue before fighting him. Pretty much any time I hear music from Kingdom Hearts, it reminds me of my childhood. General_Heartless 0 Posted October 6, 2012 "A Scatered dream like a far off memory. A far off memory like a scattered dream. I want to aline the peices up. Yours and mine" ill always remember that and it brings out the hapiness in my life. I will always remember kingdom hearts. Not as just a video game ,but a realistic life lesson. Life is hard without people their to be right behind your back with everything. Some times I cry with tears of joy. I remember crying when sora said "that's not true! The heart may be weak,it may even give in.but I learned that theirs a light deep down inside that never goes out" . Then once I beat kingdom hearts (before chain of memorys came out) I said to myself "why do the good things in life end so early" and I was like 8 :') KH4L! AntonioKHT 449 Posted October 9, 2012 Since I'm cliche, I like the scenes from the ending of each game, most of them almost or makes me cry. Except from Days, it's story is so sad, I cry the entire game. Scenes like Sora sacrificing himself, Riku and Sora saying goodbye, or Sora and Riku talking at the Dark Margin, Xion's death, Riku capturing Roxas, Riku in Destiny Islands from CoM... Just too much pain, it's so deep. I'll always remeber those scenes.
Weiss 8,279 Posted February 18, 2013 Kh1's opening, Sora's sacrifice, "Kingdom hearts is light", Sora meets meow wow, Sora and Riku defeat Xemnas.
RoxSox 3,593 Posted February 18, 2013 For KH1... Soras sacrifice, the final battle against Ansem, Sora meeting Donald and Goofy, when Sora, Riku and Mickey team together and close the door. And the best moment, "Take care of her...". For KH2... "Looks like my summer vacation, is over.", when Sora gets his new duds, the 1000 heartless battle and the scenes preceding and proceeding it, all of the Organization fights, the final battle gauntlet against Xemnas with some more specific moments being... when Sora and Riku go back to back to block all of the lasers, when Xemnas grabs Sora and you take control of Riku, the finisher. Everything after the final battle, with Sora and Riku just talking, and the dark margin, and the message in the bottle, and the 'Door to Light', the reunion at D.I., and the credits. Also, Axels death. And Roxas' battle against Axel.
