KH3..On the WII?

FF13 is coming out on both Ps3 and Xbox 360, so its probable they'd bring kh3 out on multible systems. But the Wii? The majority of Wii owners are probably unfamiliar with kh titles and it wouldn't sell well.

The Wii is in a sense the PS2 of the current game generation.

It is far more likely to not sell well on the PS3.

Personally i think it is stupid to sell it on the PS3. PS3 is commonly associated with "hardcore" games. Which, no matter what you think, KH is not. Not only that but Wii sold out the first week and is still hard to find sometimes. I have yet to go to a store sold out of PS3's. And for those of you who still think that wii would mess up KH explain to me how. How would it be any different? Saying wii sucks is not a legit reason for anything. And to have already bought a PS3 for KH3 when it hasnt even been confirmed for any station is just plain stupid. People are blinded by there hate for nintendo, they're eyes are closed to the possibilities. If any thing it would make more sense to have a multi-console release, for all the Major systems (eg. Wii, PS3, and 360)

I like Niotendo i big fan of there stuff but when you said PS3 never sells out am pretty sure i did when slim came out and making things all console lowers protect your showing and there is game called Little Big Planet which isn't hard core at all and sold at lot of copies.Also Kh has usually never been muliplater why would you charge that.

It was given praise for it, and was a good feature. KH3 should for sure have a Mission Mode-esque feature.

1)The story was much better than KH2. 2)Plus i like roxas better than sora, give me one reason why roxas made the game worse please. 3)How could it be to long for the story?

 

And your right i dont have a PS3, but do you have a Wii? People are more likely to want it for the system they have, so doesnt count. In my mind it makes more sense to have on the Wii.

CoM and Days are just as much of "main" KH games as the others are.

 

i didn't matter about how well it sells it's which system those owner would buy your game and i can't see many people buying it.Also PS3 said they would be out for 10 years and it's only been four.

Which is why it's better to be on the Wii. It'd sell better on there.

If it was on the PS3, chances are that it would end up being the worst-selling KH title.

If Disney doesn't want it to go on a Sony or Microsoft console, it probably won't. They are a HUGE key in KH's success. If they removed everything Disney from KH, it would be total crap. Nomura has interest in working with the Wii for KH. Disney supports Nintendo recently and has said they want to not release stuff for the PS3 or 360. Disney tells Nomura they want it on the Wii. Nomura sticks that with wanting to work with the Wii for KH. Bam. It's released, and sells well.

Non-technology wise, The PS2 and the Wii are in a way the same thing - they're both the top-selling consoles of their generation. When you're going to be making a game, you're going to want to put it on the console that the majority of the target audience has, aside from exclusives, but that's usually not an issue.

What's KH's target audience? Sorry, folks, but it's family/kids.

A parent is more likely to want to buy a Wii for their kid than a PS3. Price-wise, and the fact that the PS3 does not have a large amount of games in KH's target audience. There are SOME, yes, but it's far outweighed.

 

For all we know, the graphics could end up the same as KH2's on the PS3. KH2's did not push the PS2's limit, because KH is not a game that should have amazing graphics. Save that for games like Halo and whatnot.

Most of the kingdom hearts fans own a ps3 not a wii, mostly its due to the fact they are all final fantasy fans and assume square will release there best content on sony systems.

 

So why would the Kingdom hearts crew be stupid enuff to release the third installment of the game on a different system that there fans dont own? All the nintendo fans probly dont have any idea what kingdom hearts is, so why would they want to play the third game?

Because the Wii has sold many more units than the PS3. Because there are plenty of KH fans who don't have a PS3, how does beign on a sony system make it better, Tetsuya Nomoura (spelling?) has said he was thinking about a KH game for Wii, and there are plenty of nintendo fans that know what KH is. Putting it on Wii would most likely make it sell better because 1)The wii has sold more than PS3 or 360, 2) the wii is cheaper and so are the games, 3) even people who don't know about KH will buy it because they see the disney sign, 4) KH is meant for the younger generation and most of the younger generation has a Wii because PS3 is more for the older generation.

The Zelda thing is completely different. Zelda is a Nintendo exclusive, and therefore will not be released on non-Nintendo consoles (aside from CD-i, but that was a different story). KH is not a Sony exclusive.

 

I'd like to see statistics that the majority of the fanbase owns PS3s and not Wiis. In fact, I own neither.

 

They'll be focusing on the target age range rather than the fanbase.
