KH3..On the WII?

Hey everybody!

 

Interesting news today, Disney CEO Bob Iger was asked about the "company's current approach to the video game market when compared to the introduction of Disney Interactive Studios in 2007". He replies saying "that the company would be publishing fewer titles for "high-end" systems, but suggested that the company may soon be publishing Marvel-based titles to make up for the shift."

 

He also states that "Disney-branded games seem to perform better on the Wii and DS platforms."

 

For those of you who don't know, Disney purchased Marvel a while back. Could this mean that the upcoming Kingdom Hearts III, and any other related games, could be on the Wii or Nintendo DS? Anything is possible.

That's gonna suck if it goes on the Wii, as I don't have one, my cousin does. T_T He's not into the KH games, either. T_T (He's 21, I'm 22 and still love KH. ^_^) I need KH3 to be on the PS3!!!

no offence to Nintendo, but if KH3 is for Wii, it's gonna suck... like MOJOR suckage! I seriously doubt SquareEnix will let Disney do that.

Agreed. The only game I found that was alright for the Wii was Metroid Prime 3. X_X

yeah, the exclusives are the only good games. Twilight Princess, SSBB, Metroid Prime 3, and New Mario Bros.

Wii should just stick to making awesome Nintendo titals, no dumb 3rd party games. They just suck on Wii.

Disney don't have anything to do with KH it just gave the characters,it don't do anything when Square is making the games,I think that it would be about some Disney games,Disney alone not toghether with Square Enix.

You guys need to calm down, seriously. It's not as if it'll have motion control. They'll just use standard button control, like how Days didn't make use of the touch screen other than that feature in multiplayer.

People need to keep in mind that Square Enix and Disney are companies, and when they release a game, they need for it to sell as well as they can get it to. The Playstation2 and the Wii are in similar situations - they're both the best-selling console of their current generation, especially with the family/kids audience. KH is a family/kids game series.

1.Since when does the KH series need fancy graphics? The KH1 and KH2 graphics were lower than that of the PS2's capabilities, so they clearly don't have a high concern for uber-graphics.

 

2.Selling issues? It'd most likely sell better on the Wii. The PS3 is not a console widely owned by younger audiences. The Wii is. It'd most likely sell worse on the PS3 than it would on the Wii.

 

3.Oh look, another hate comment on the Wii not backed up by anything. Never seen that before.

 

 

With Nomura's interest in bringing the franchise to the Wii, as well as Disney's preference to support Nintendo and Square Enix being in better relations lately, I'd say it's safe to say KH3 will be a Wii game. It's just not practical to put it on the PS3.

I have been actually thinking about a KH Wii game. I can't see how it would make the games worse. KH has always had (somewhat) the same button mashing battle system. THey wont change that just for wii. The Wii would be much more practical because many more people have one compared to PS3 and X-Box 360. It is also much less expensive. Many people dont like the Wii simply for the controls. KH doesnt have highly complicated controls, so the wii remote would work just fine if a nun-chuck is attached. I am sorry to say to you non-wii owners and Wii haters, but to make a KH3 game on the Wii would be a much smarter idea than to make one for the Highend, hardcore, amazing-lifelike graphics, expensive game systems. And Wii is more than capable to handle KH graphics. We all know that Square Enix can do wonderful things with nintendo system graphics and KH games. (358/2 days)

In the likely event that KH3 is on the Wii, I can assure you that there won't be motion control, and if there is, it'd be VERY minimal.

The Wii is not strictly motion control, just like how the DS is not strictly touch control.

Actually that is exactly the point i was trying to make. The motion control should not be used at all. The wii remote has enough buttons to accommodate a KH game, and the nunchuck would provide 2 extra buttons and the analog stick. I have actually thought through a way to play KH on the Wii:

A button: Same thing as X on the ps2

B button: Same thing as O on the ps2

D-pad: scroll through battle menu (Magic, Attack, Summon, Drive. etc.)

Nun-chuck analog stick: character control

1 and/or 2 button: Pause/ Quick item/cast menu

C button: Quick item/cast OR Same function as the Triangle button

Z button: Quick Item/cast menu Or same function as as Square button

I think if Kh went to the wii it would suck here's why

1)Gameplay contrals run the best on Sony's the best and on Niotendo they have been ok

2)Ps3 is the best system on the market and it's having comeback also some people bought PS3 for the next kh game

3)PS3 you can have Add-ons,Tropys,best visual possible,best sound possible you can fit more content on PS3 than wii and xbox

4)Wii without being motion contral will still seem weird

 

 

Wii does have good 3 party games but when that game is on other platform it sucks

and when wii does have good third party games they don't sell them like PS3 and 360 do like the game Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All Stars and No more heros 2 they don't show these good games.Also how is it not practial to put it on PS3 when it's the cloestest thing to PS2 verisons and can get KH better.When PS3 has thrid party game they sell it at well unlike the wii

I swear if they dare put it on the WII I will sue the company, and send them hate letters. Putting it on the WII will ruin the game, the WII sucks x-(
