Gambler'sApprentice 131 Posted September 5, 2012 According to the games Keyblade wielders appear in threes, according to a certain pattern. 1 Male who uses Light (Eraqus, Ventus, Sora, Roxas) 1 Male who uses Darkness (Xehanort, Terra, Riku, Lea) 1 Female who if we're lucky, like Aqua is unstoppable. If we're less lucky we have Kairi, who gets overwhelmed by shadows. (???, Aqua, Kairi, Xion) Ignoring Yen Sid on the grounds that he appears to be older than Master Xehanort and Eraqus (possibly put together) and therefore belonged to a seperate group of Keyblade trainees we have a missing Keyblade wielder. Therefore our next saga will at least touch upon what happened to her. No, this is not a(n entirely) serious theory. But I would like to hear thoughts on it. HarLea Quinn 26,501 Posted September 5, 2012 Terra was way older than Ven ..Im pretty sure Yen Sid was part of Eraqus' and Xehanort's trio 1 Robbie the Wise reacted to this

Caity 3,946 Posted September 5, 2012 (edited) The "???" could be Namine in the girls section. Someone who can just snap your memory and disarm you by thinking seems pretty powerful I would also say that the trios are MX, Eraqus and Yen Sid Terra, Ven and Aqua Riku, Sora and Kairi Axel, Roxas and Xion Purple = Strength, Strong elemental powers (earth, fire, darkness with MX and Riku), Blue = Light based heros Red = Our female girls, or over-lapping magic leads. Thinking how Aqua was a skilled mage and Yen Sid seems like the greatest magician in the game, I think he fits in this slot even though he's a guy. Gambler'sApprentice 131 Posted September 5, 2012 (edited) Within some level I think it does, and Yen Sid seems to be at least a generation older than Eraqus, and therfore by extension Xehanort. Terra is rather older than Ven, but by less than a decade. On 9/5/2012 at 7:49 PM, 'Caity Raindrop' said: The "???" could be Namine in the girls section. Still, I do likee the idea of a Keyblade wielding Namine. Edited September 5, 2012 by Gambler'sApprentice
AnHeiressofaSOLDIER 358 Posted September 5, 2012 Ahh, the whole, "Who was Xehanort and Eraqus' girl?" question. Actually, I wonder if there was one, myself (probably), and would love to meet her! I've actually read some good fanfics about her: Mainly that because of her death, disappearance, retirement (or whatever), that's what made Xehanort and Eraqus become what they did. I like this one fic where Eraqus' is always a bit sad around Aqua because she reminds him of her... Anyway, I wonder if we'll ever get a "fire" element to the trios. And, yes, while Axel is clearly fire, he doesn't really count because he somewhat serves as the "Riku and Terra" role for his trio. Also, I wonder just where Naminé fits in. With Vanitas and Repliku perhaps? JK. Actually, maybe it's best she doesn't fit anywhere. If tragic things happen to the trios, maybe they need to break the tradition and be more than just trios. Quick, Nami! Go join Sora, Riku, and Kairi (like in the false memories you created), and break the cycle! Yeah, don't really take a lot of this seriously... heyitsdeven 131 Posted September 5, 2012 Does Riku still count as a darkness? I thought he was on his way to becoming a "Light" based character.
Iamkingdomhearts1000 1,170 Posted September 5, 2012 If we are speaking Trios: Sora, Riku and Kairi. Roxas, Lea and Xion. Ventus, Terra and Aqua. Mickey, Donald and Goofy. Ansem the Wise, Master Eraqus and Yen Sid. Riku Replica, Axel and Namine. Sora's Heartless, Isa and a Dream Eater Spirit. Data Sora, Data Riku and Data Namine. Data Roxas, Lingering Will and Armor of the Master.

Gambler'sApprentice 131 Posted September 5, 2012 Riku isn't going to become a light, he's awesome because he can use darkness and not be corrupted. That was basically the point of his CoM storyline, he decides he's got darkness, but it makes him stronger, so he'll use it and not let it over power him.
